Abstract

The purposes of this researches are to analyze: (1) The effect of Website quality and E-trust on Online Booking Intention of Traveloka users in the city of Padang, (2) The effect of Website Quality on E-trust of Traveloka users in the city of Padang. This type of research is causative research. The population in this study  is the people of Padang who have accessed the Traveloka site. The sample used was 400 respondent using purposive sampling technique. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed online and analyzed using the SmartPLS version 3.0 program. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Website quality has a significant effect on Online Booking Intention with a coefficient value of 0.277 at P Values 0.005 and T statistics at 2.812, (2) Website quality has a significant effect on E-trust with a coefficient of 0.764 on P Values 0,000 and T statistics 18.444, (3) E-trust  has a  significant effect on  Online  Booking  Intention  with  a coefficient value   of 0.484 in P Values 0.000 and T statistics 5.981.Keywords : Website Quality, E-trust, Online Booking Intention

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: (1) The level of customer satisfaction with the quality provided by the Padang City Center Post Office (2) Service attributes that need to be improved in service quality at the Padang City Center Post Office so as to improve customer satisfaction (3) Quality dimensions services that have the greatest influence on customer satisfaction at the Padang City Center Post Office. The population of this research is the Post Office customers with unknown number of respondents. The sampling technique of this study was accidental sampling technique with a total sample of 100 people. The data used is primary data. The data analysis technique uses the fuzzy-servqual method using Microsoft Excel software. The results showed that: (1) The level of consumer satisfaction is low because the overall servqual (gap) value is negative, namely -0.75 (2) There are 17 attributes that need to be improved from the 22 attributes that are tested to improve the quality of service at the Post Office Padang City Center (3) Dimensions of service quality with the biggest gap is the dimension of responsiveness with a value of -1.32.Keywords: Service Quality, fuzzy-servqual, customer satisfaction

Abstract

The embroidery business is a business that has been hereditary in the village of Ampek Angkek, Agam Regency, West Sumatra Province. But in its development this business still faces several obstacles such as the motives, design, and diversification of embroidery products that are still limited, besides that there has not been a common goal in quality among craftsmen as business owners with their sewing children. Therefore the purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of embroidery business partners in developing variations in motifs, designs, and diversification of embroidery products, and can improve the quality and quantity of embroidery products to be highly competitive while remaining grounded in the unique characteristics of Minang. Kabau. This activity was carried out by providing training and mentoring on techniques and how to make various variations of embroidery motifs and designs, as well as developing product diversification. The results of the activity showed an increase in partner knowledge and skills in making various variations of motifs and designs of embroidery products. Furthermore, the product diversification in the form of tablecloths, chair cushions and tissue boxes, with the right embroidery layout and quality as expected.Keywords: Craft embroidery, Product diversification, Quality standards

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of ownership structure on the firm performance of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).  This research is a causative study. The population in this study are all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2018. This study uses secondary data published in the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). Based on data collection, a sample of 75 companies from 144 listed manufacturing companies was obtained. The analytical method used is Multiple Regression using SPSS 24 data processing applications. The results of this study conclude (1) Family Ownership does not have a significant positive effect on firm performance (2) Managerial Ownership has a significant negative effect on firm performance (3) Institutional Ownership has a significant positive effect on firm performance (4) Foreign ownership does not have a significant positive effect on firm performance.  Keywords: Ownership structure, firm performance, Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

Purpose - This study aimed to analyze: (1) the influence of reliability on inpatient satisfaction Hospital Semen Padang (2) the impact of responsiveness to satisfaction Hospital Semen Padang inpatient (3) the effect of assurance on inpatient satisfaction Hospital Semen Padang (4) the influence of empathy toward inpatient satisfaction Hospital Semen Padang (5) the effect of Physical evidence on inpatient satisfaction Hospital Semen Padang.  Methodology - The population in this study is that patients Semen Padang Hospital. 100 people by using purposive sampling technique. Abstract

The purpose of this study to analyze the effect of human resource management practices and the implementation of total quality management on employee performance. This research is quantitative with a population of employees of the Packing Plant PT. Incasi Raya. The analytical method used path analysis, using SPSS version 20. Abstract

Daily makeup is a material that is learned in basic beauty subjects that must be mastered by students of the beauty program of Vocational Higher Education. This study aims to develop daily makeup teaching materials in the form of daily makeup modules using a problem-based learning model. In this study, the validity and practicality of the development results will be measured. This research is a type of research and development research and development (R&D), in this study, it is necessary to follow the predetermined stages starting from the Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate stages by providing modules to educators to be used as teaching materials in the classroom. The data collection instrument used in this study was a Likert scale questionnaire as a validation assessment to material and media experts as well as practicality tests from students and educators, and data analysis using percentages with predetermined categories. The research sample was class X students of the beauty program of SMK Negeri 6 Padang, totaling 3 students for a small group test before entering the practicality test, 18 students for the practicality test, and one educator. The results obtained are 1) the development has been carried out with a 4-D development model which produces a problem-based daily makeup module, 2) the results of the module validation analysis by material experts obtain an overall rating percentage of 87% with the category "very good". ”, and the results of module validation by media experts obtained an overall rating percentage of 87% in the “very good” category 3) the practicality test results obtained an overall rating percentage of 86% in the “very good” category of student responses and 95% in the category "very good" from the teacher's response.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of ease of use, usefulness of using technology, security, and service features on Interest to use electronic money, with usage attitude as an intervening variable. This study uses quantitative research methods. This research was conducted in the city of Padang. The population in this study were all electronic money users in the city of Padang. Determination of the sample in this study, using a non-probability sampling sample selection method. The sample that will be used as respondents from this research is as many as 580 people of Padang City who use electronic money. The results of this study indicate that ease of use has a positive and significant effect on interest to use, usefulness of using has a positive and significant effect on interest to use, safety of use has a positive but not significant effect on interest to use, service features use a positive but not significant effect on interest to use, ease of use has a positive and significant effect on attitudes to use, usefulness of use have a positive and significant effect on attitudes of use, safety of use has a positive and significant effect on attitudes of use, service features of use have a positive and significant effect on attitudes of use, attitudes of use have a positive and significant effect on interest to use.

Abstract

Dibandingkan dengan buku teks, media gambar, dan media audio, media video memiliki tampilan yang lebih menarik. Meskipun pada dasarnya setiap media memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangan. Hal ini terlihat dari efektifitas penggunaan media, waktu, kecepatan penyampaian informasi dan daya tarik media. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan video tutorial terhadap hasil praktik pemangkasan rambut teknik uniform layer pada siswa kelas XI SMK Negri 6 Padang. Penelitian ini berjenis kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan pendekatan quasi eksperimental design, berupa posttest only nonequivalent control group design. Pembelajaran kelas eksperimen menggunakan media video tutorial untuk pelajaran pemangkasan rambut teknik uniform layer dan kelas kontrol menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional berupa modul. Populasi penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas XI KC yang terdiri dari 2 kelas, masing-masing kelas beranggotakan 30 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel berupa teknik sampling jenuh. Gunakan uji-t untuk melihat pengaruh mediavideo tutorial. Bedasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai rata-rata pemangkasan rambut teknik uniform layer pada kelompok kontrol sebesar 79,733, standar deviasi sebesar 2,8093, nilai minimum sebesar 78, nilai maksimum sebesar 87, nilai rata-rata kelompok eksperimen sebesar 85,117 standar deviasi 3,5928, nilai minimum 78, nilai maksimum 90, penggunaan media video tutorial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil praktik pemangkasan rambut teknik uniform layer pada siswa kelas XI KC SMK Negeri 6 Padang, nilai p = 0,000 (p < 0,05). Disarankan pada guru tata kecantikan hendaknya menggunakan video tutorial sebagai media pembelajaran yang dapat membantu siswa untuk lebih mudah memahami dan termotivasi dalam proses pembelajaran

Abstract

The research objectives are: (1) developing a mahendi art training program for women's empowerment, (2) producing a mahendi art training program for practical women's empowerment. This study uses the ADDIE development model which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation stages. The conclusions are: (1) Mahendi art training program has been successfully developed, (2) Mahendi art training program has been practically used for women's empowerment in the city of Medan.
