Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami pengaruh pendidikan karakter Islam terhadap akhlak anak usia dini dengan pendekatan kecakapan abad 21. Pendidikan karakter merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam pembentukan moral dan etika anak sejak usia dini. Dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam dalam pendidikan karakter dan memanfaatkan keterampilan yang relevan dengan era modern, penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana pendekatan tersebut dapat membentuk akhlak anak-anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter berbasis Islam yang disesuaikan dengan kecakapan abad 21 dapat secara efektif meningkatkan perilaku positif dan moral anak usia dini. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan bagi pendidik dan orang tua tentang pentingnya integrasi nilai-nilai religius dan keterampilan modern dalam pendidikan karakter

Abstract

This study aims to identify, describe, and analyze the non-academic abilities of PAI students as prospective educators. In this millennial era, preparation is needed to improve the quality of education. For this reason, skills are needed that are not only based on academic abilities but also non-academic abilities which are soft skills. One of the soft skills abilities is public speaking. Public speaking is very important to instill in students, especially students of Islamic religious education. This qualitative research method uses a library research approach. Data collection techniques using library materials. The results of this study indicate that PAI students who master the soft skills of public speaking greatly affect the quality of education in the future. Therefore, public speaking soft skills are very important for students to master. This ability is very useful for improving the quality of education because a good education is produced by quality students.

Abstract

René Descartes' rationalism has an important role in forming the foundations of modern logic, which is the basis for success in critical and analytical thinking in the 21st century. Descartes, through the method of systematic doubt and cogito ergo sum, emphasized the importance of rational thinking and logical reasoning as the main tools in acquiring knowledge. In the context of 21st century education, Descartes' principles are applied in a curriculum that encourages students to think critically, evaluate arguments logically, and solve complex problems through an analytical approach. By adopting Descartes' approach, modern education focuses not only on the transfer of knowledge, but also on the development of deep and structured thinking skills, which are essential to face global challenges and continuously developing technology. Descartes' rationalism, therefore, provides a strong foundation for the success of logic and critical thinking in the contemporary era.

Abstract

Kecerdasan spiritual merupakan sebuah kecerdasan jiwa yang dapat membuat sesorang untuk mengembangkan dirinya secara ideal guna mengaktualisasikan nilai-nilai yang positif dalam kehidupannya. Meningkatnya mobilisasi serta berkembang pesatnya teknologi dalam kehidupan, membawa beberapa dampak negatif pada tatanan masyarakat Indonesia. Hal tersebut, menjadikan kecerdasan spiritual (SQ) menjadi salah satu solution untuk menanggulangi dampak tersebut. Artikel ini ditulis dengan tujuan melakukan istiqra’ atau penelitian terhadap tingkat SQ, prilaku, serta pengaruh kecerdasan spiritual (SQ) terhadap prilaku mahasiswa PAI UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode penelitian dalam artikel ini ialah dengan metode kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ialah nilai signifikasi antara SQ dan prilaku mahasiswa UINSA dalam pembelajaran ialah < 0,005. Artinya terdapat pengaruh serta hubungan antara SQ dengan prilaku mahasiswa. Adapun keeratan pengaruh serta hubungan tersebut menempati posisi “sedang” dengan Correlation Coefficient sebesar 0,508. Arah hubungan SQ terhadap prilaku mahasiswa PAI UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya ialah searah karena hasil nilainya ialah positif. Yang artinya bahwa jika SQ semakin baik dalam diri mahasiswa PAI UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya maka akan meningkatkan pula prilaku dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study looks at what it means to be an educator, as seen through the ideas of Imam Al-Ghazali, and places his thoughts in today's educational world. Al-Ghazali believed that educators are not just people who teach facts, but also spiritual leaders who help students grow morally and get closer to Allah. The research uses a review of Al-Ghazali's writings and modern Islamic education materials to find out what makes an ideal educator in his view. The results show that Al-Ghazali focused on qualities like good character, proper behavior, honest intentions, and patience as the key parts of being a professional educator. These ideas are still very important today, especially in dealing with moral issues, a loss of good values, and the gap between knowledge and spiritual beliefs. The study ends by saying that it is very important to bring back the role of educators as both teachers and moral guides in Islamic education to raise a generation that is both smart and good hearted.

Abstract

slamic Religious Education learning is still often teacher-centered, limiting students’ active participation and the development of 21st-century skills. This study aims to analyze how the Marketplace Activity (MPA) model and variations in grouping strategies foster the four Cs (communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity) in Islamic Religious Education classrooms. Using a qualitative case study design at a public senior high school in Sidoarjo, data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The findings show that MPA promotes dynamic and meaningful learning interactions. Heterogeneous groups encourage diverse ideas, dialogic exchange, and critical reflection, while homogeneous groups support task efficiency and clarity of roles. The four Cs emerged as Islamic value-based learning outcomes: value-driven collaborative communication, spiritual-intellectual collaboration, reflective faith-based reasoning, and integrative Islamic creativity. This study concludes that MPA has strong potential as an integrative learning model that connects cognitive skill development with spiritual character formation, making Islamic Religious Education more relevant to the competence and morality demands of the 21st century. Practically, teachers are encouraged to design student-centered activities, apply flexible grouping structures aligned with learning objectives, and integrate faith-based values with higher-order thinking to strengthen both academic and spiritual outcomes.

Abstract

This article seeks to understand and explain the importance of Islamic education in comparison to Western education through a detailed examination of the challenges and expectations as seen through the eyes of Muhammad Iqbal. The research method employs a review of the literature to identify previous sources of relevant articles and journals. In this article, the author adopts the viewpoint of Muhammad Iqbal, a modern Islamic philosopher, writer, and reformer, to examine the benefits and drawbacks of Islamic and Western education. The discussion revealed that there is a significant difference between Islamic education and Western education, particularly in terms of scope and source material used. According to Muhammad Iqbal, Western education produces people with general science intelligence, whereas Islamic education produces people with good character and behavior. A good education must strike a balance between physical and spiritual aspects. Education's goal is to prepare men for life. Islamic education should be taught from childhood to adulthood so that the education provided covers a wide range of scientific topics. In the West, empirical aspects of real-life experience place a greater emphasis on educational resources. Whereas in Islamic education, the source of the value of knowledge comes directly from the creator of the universe rather than from the creation of experts or the elite of society. Because education is an investment in a better future; therefore, the educational process must run smoothly.

Abstract

Globalisasi digital memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap pembentukan karakter peserta didik melalui meningkatnya paparan media sosial dan kecerdasan buatan, sementara implementasi Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan seperti keterbatasan kesiapan guru, rendahnya literasi digital, dan kesenjangan fasilitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tantangan sistemik dalam pelaksanaan P5 serta merumuskan strategi adaptif dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter menuju Indonesia Emas 2045. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur. Data diperoleh dari 35 artikel ilmiah terbitan 2023–2026, dokumen kebijakan Kurikulum Merdeka, serta laporan lembaga nasional dan internasional seperti Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi serta UNICEF. Analisis data dilakukan melalui teknik coding tematik dan sintesis konseptual untuk mengidentifikasi hambatan utama serta peluang inovasi dalam implementasi P5. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi P5 menghadapi tantangan yang saling berkaitan, seperti dominasi penggunaan media digital oleh peserta didik dibandingkan aktivitas belajar terstruktur, keterbatasan literasi keamanan digital, serta meningkatnya risiko pelanggaran integritas akademik. Strategi yang diidentifikasi meliputi digitalisasi modul berbasis platform gratis, pemanfaatan kecerdasan buatan untuk efisiensi kerja guru, triangulasi komunitas dalam pengawasan pembelajaran, gamifikasi berbasis budaya lokal-global, serta penguatan integritas digital sebagai perluasan pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi konseptual bagi pengembangan strategi P5 yang lebih adaptif dan kontekstual.

Abstract

The digital era has brought fundamental changes to the field of education, requiring Indonesian educators to rapidly adapt to technological advancements while simultaneously preserving humanistic values in the learning process. However, empirical realities indicate that teachers’ digital literacy remains relatively low, students’ character values are experiencing degradation, and disparities in technological adaptation persist. This study aims to analyze the challenges faced by Indonesian educators in the digital era and to examine the relevance of Ki Hajar Dewantara’s leadership trilogy as a conceptual framework for addressing these challenges. The research employs a qualitative method with a library research approach and content analysis of scholarly literature, policy documents, and primary works of K.H.D. The findings reveal three major challenges in the digital era: insufficient techno-pedagogical competence, moral erosion, and infrastructural inequality. The ideas of K.H.D. remain relevant in integrating humanistic values with technological advancement. These findings underscore the need to reconstruct the role of educators as morally grounded and digitally competent agents. The implications of this study propose an integrative conceptual model that combines digital competencies with the educational values of K.H.D. as a strategy to strengthen character development and improve the quality of learning in the digital era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya moral generasi muda dalam sistem pendidikan. Penelitian ini untuk menganalisis revitalisasi pendidikan karakter dan budi pekerti sebagai strategi mengatasi degradasi moral generasi muda di era globalisasi. Pendidikan karakter dan budi pekerti berperan dalam menanamkan prinsip etika, kejujuran, kedisiplinan, rasa tanggung jawab, sikap saling menghargai dan etika sosial untuk membentuk generasi berakhlak mulia. Proses penelitian dilakukan dengan cara pendekatan kualitatif dan penelitian kepustakaan, di mana sumber data diambil dari buku, karya ilmiah, tulisan hasil penelitian, serta peraturan resmi di bidang pendidikan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mengkaji isi tulisan untuk memahami gagasan, pelaksanaan, serta hambatan pendidikan karakter di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menegaskan bahwa pendidikan karakter memiliki peran sangat besar dalam membentuk jati diri kepribadian generasi muda agar mampu menghadapi tantangan perkembangan zaman tanpa kehilangan nilai moral dan budaya bangsa. Revitalisasi pendidikan karakter perlu dilakukan lewat keteladanan pendidik, pembiasaan perilaku baik, penguatan tata krama di dunia maya, serta kerja sama yang erat antara sekolah, keluarga, dan lingkungan sekitar.
