Abstract

Abstract This study aims to examine the role of wawancan as a medium of dakwah in the Lampung Sai Batin wedding ritual, as well as how wawancan functions in the social and cultural context of the Lampung community. Wawancan, as a form of oral communication delivered by adat leaders or religious figures, not only serves to provide customary advice but also acts as a medium to convey Islamic dakwah messages. Using a qualitative approach with participatory observation and in-depth interviews, this research reveals how wawancan delivers religious and cultural values to the bride and groom as well as the attendees of the ceremony. The findings show that wawancan plays a significant role in uniting religious teachings and Lampung Sai Batin customs. As a dakwah medium, wawancan not only emphasizes religious messages but also strengthens social bonds within the community. Through wawancan, Islamic teachings are conveyed in a manner that aligns with local cultural values, making them easier to accept and understand. This study contributes to the understanding of how dakwah can be carried out by utilizing local cultural traditions, as well as the importance of preserving cultural heritage in the context of social and religious development in the Lampung community.

Abstract

Human Capital Management (HCM) is a strategic approach in improving the quality of human resources in various sectors, including in the context of Islamic Community Development (PMI). However, its implementation faces complex ethical challenges, especially related to the principles of justice, inclusion, and data privacy. These challenges arise along with the increasing digitalization of empowerment programs, the use of big data, and the need to integrate Islamic values in managerial decision-making. This research uses the library research method, by examining various primary and secondary literature, including books on Human Capital Management, works by experts in Islamic Community Development, and relevant indexed journal articles. The analysis was carried out with a thematic approach to identify the ethical principles and challenges of HCM implementation in the context of Islamic societies. The results show that the integration of HCM in PMI requires ethical governance that emphasizes fairness in the distribution of opportunities, inclusion for vulnerable groups, and protection of data privacy as part of the social mandate. The principle of justice demands equitable access to training and capacity building; inclusion emphasizes the empowerment of women, people with disabilities, and poor groups; Meanwhile, data privacy is the main issue due to the use of digital reporting systems that are prone to leaks. Islamic literature shows that these three principles are in harmony with maqāṣid al-sharī'ah, especially hifz al-nafs, hifz al-'ird, and hifz al-māl. The discussion emphasized the importance of formulating an ethical model of HCM based on Islamic values, where transparency, accountability, and the protection of human dignity are the main foundations. The integration of Qur'anic ethics in HCM practice can strengthen the sustainability of PMI programs and increase public trust in implementing institutions. This study concludes that human capital management in the development of Islamic society must comprehensively consider ethical aspects. Justice, inclusion, and data privacy are not only modern managerial principles, but an integral part of Islamic ethics that must be implemented in every empowerment process. This study recommends the preparation of ethical guidelines for HCM based on Islamic values as a reference for institutions and stakeholders in carrying out the PMI program.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dakwah ekologis yang dilakukan WALHI dalam menanamkan kesadaran lingkungan serta mengidentifikasi perilaku kesadaran lingkungan yang terealisasi di masyarakat Desa Cilimus, Kecamatan Teluk Pandan, Kabupaten Pesawaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, dengan mengintegrasikan  konsep Dakwah Transformatif dan model perilaku bertanggung jawab lingkungan untuk menganalisis metode pendampingan dan mengukur tingkat kesadaran masyarakat.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa WALHI menerapkan dakwah transformatif melalui fungsi pembebasan dan advokasi kebijakan guna memulihkan hak kelola rakyat atas hutan. Strategi dakwah yang digunakan mengedepankan pendekatan ekonomi melalui diversifikasi tanaman tajuk tinggi dan Hasil Hutan Bukan Kayu (HHBK), yang secara efektif menjawab kebutuhan ekonomi sekaligus melestarikan alam. Ditemukan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kesadaran lingkungan warga yang ditandai dengan penguatan lokus kendali, perubahan sikap melalui prinsip “menanam tanpa menebang”, serta komitmen kolektif dalam menjaga wilayah konservasi di aliran Sungai Sabu. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi antara nilai-nilai agama, kedaulatan ekonomi, dan kebijakan perhutanan sosial merupakan kunci dalam membentuk paradigma ekologis yang berkelanjutan di tingkat akar rumput.

Abstract

This study aims to strengthen interpersonal communication in improving library services for people with disabilities. This research is motivated by the neglect of people with disabilities when communicating their needs in library services. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, by conducting an in-depth case study approach. Data was obtained through online observation from websites that support data retrieval, in the form of books or journals available. The results showed that the training of librarians in interpersonal communication with users with disabilities should be implemented, librarians must be able to adapt to information and Communication Technology. Communicate interpersonally librarians must also pay attention to five important points, namely (1) Reliability, (2) Responsiveness, (3) Assurance, (4) Emphaty, (5) Tangible. Based on these results, interpersonal communication plays a role in improving library services for people with disabilities. The important role of interpersonal communication is because librarians can understand and help people with disabilities, and provide the same feelings that others get. And can minimize misunderstandings that will occur between librarians and users with disabilities.
