Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology requires a transformation of learning methods in secondary schools; however, differences in adaptability and digital literacy levels among educators trigger a learning effectiveness gap that is crucial to study in depth. This study aims to analyze the readiness of senior, middle, and junior teachers in adapting technology-based learning, identify the challenges faced in digital learning, and examine teacher adaptation strategies at SMP Negeri 1 Tilongkabila. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that teachers' readiness in digital learning varies. Junior teachers tend to be better prepared to utilize technology, middle teachers are in the adaptation stage, while senior teachers still face various internal obstacles regarding skills and technology anxiety. In addition to internal teacher challenges, external challenges were also found, such as limited facilities, differences in students' abilities, and changes in students' characteristics in the digital era. To overcome these challenges, teachers implement various strategies, such as flexible use of technology, group learning, and adjustments to teaching methods based on students' conditions. These findings show that successful digital learning requires teacher readiness, facility support, and adaptive learning strategies. ABSTRAK Perkembangan teknologi digital yang pesat menuntut adanya transformasi metode pembelajaran di sekolah menengah, namun perbedaan tingkat adaptabilitas dan literasi digital di antara para pendidik memicu kesenjangan efektivitas pembelajaran yang krusial untuk diteliti secara mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kesiapan guru senior, middle, dan junior dalam mengadaptasi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi, mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi dalam pembelajaran digital, serta mengkaji strategi adaptasi guru di SMP Negeri 1 Tilongkabila. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan guru dalam pembelajaran digital belum merata. Guru junior cenderung lebih siap memanfaatkan teknologi, guru middle berada pada tahap adaptasi, sedangkan guru senior masih menghadapi berbagai kendala internal terkait keterampilan dan kecemasan teknologi. Di samping tantangan internal guru, ditemukan pula tantangan eksternal seperti keterbatasan fasilitas, perbedaan kemampuan siswa, dan perubahan karakter siswa di era digital. Untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut, guru menerapkan berbagai strategi seperti penggunaan teknologi secara fleksibel, pembelajaran kelompok, dan penyesuaian metode pembelajaran sesuai kondisi siswa. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan pembelajaran digital memerlukan kesiapan guru, dukungan fasilitas, dan strategi pembelajaran yang adaptif.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes in Integrated Social Sciences by implementing the Take and Give method among Class VII B students at SMP Negeri 1 Botupingge. Data for this classroom action research were collected through observation, tests, interviews, and documentation involving 27 students. The findings revealed that implementing the Take and Give method effectively improved students' learning outcomes. The percentage of students achieving mastery learning increased from 41% in the pre-cycle stage to 56% in Cycle I and further increased to 89% in Cycle II. In addition, students' participation and engagement during the learning process also demonstrated significant improvement. Although three students (11%) had not yet met the minimum passing score in Cycle II, the teacher provided follow-up support through remedial instruction, including individual tutoring, review of the material, and make-up tests. After participating in the remedial program, all three students successfully met the learning standards, bringing the total number of students who met the standards to 27, or 100%. These results indicate that the Take and Give method is an effective in instructional strategy for enhancing learning outcomes in Integrated Social sciences among Class VII B students at SMP Negeri 1 Botupingge.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of gadget (mobile phone) usage on students' learning outcomes in Social Studies (IPS) at SMP Negeri 1 Biluhu. This study employed a quantitative research method with an associative approach. The data used were primary data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to students in the Social Studies subject at SMP Negeri 1 Biluhu. The sample size in this study consisted of 57 respondents. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant effect of gadget (mobile phone) usage on students' learning outcomes in Social Studies at SMP Negeri 1 Biluhu. The magnitude of the effect of gadget (mobile phone) usage on students' learning outcomes was 21.9%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the recitation method on students’ learning outcomes in Social Studies (IPS) at SMPN 3 Satap Dungaliyo. This research uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. The data used are primary data obtained through questionnaires distributed to all students of SMPN 3 Satap Dungaliyo. The sample size in this study was 72 respondents. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression. The results of the study show that there is a positive and significant effect of the recitation method on students’ learning outcomes in Social Studies (IPS) at SMPN 3 Satap Dungaliyo. The magnitude of the effect of the recitation method on students’ learning outcomes is 50.3%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the use of the Indonesian Standard Quick Response Code (QRIS) digital payment on the purchasing interest of students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Gorontalo State University, class of 2021. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive verification method. Primary data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to 86 respondents selected using simple random sampling from a total population of 639 students from the Departments of Economics, Management, Accounting, and Economics Education. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis was performed using simple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 21. The results showed that the use of QRIS digital payments has a positive and significant effect on student purchasing interest. This is evidenced by the t-value of 9.677, which is greater than the t-table of 1.988, and the significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination of 0.527 indicates that 52.7% of the variability in students' purchasing interest can be explained by the use of QRIS digital payments, while the remaining 47.3% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Therefore, it can be concluded that the better the use of QRIS digital payments, the higher the students' purchasing interest. Optimal use of QRIS can be an effective strategy in increasing purchasing interest among students.
