Abstract

Ketapang Village was a village that was hit by the Lapindo hot mud disaster and most of the village residents moved. This has resulted in a decline in the level of community political participation, especially in elections. This research aims to encourage the role of village government in encouraging community political participation in elections in Ketapang Village. This research applies a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection methods include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research results show that the role of the Ketapang Village Government in increasing community political participation in elections in Ketapang Village, Tanggulangin District, is still not optimal.  This is evidenced by the low level of community political participation in the elections in Ketapang Village which is caused by the large number of absentee Permanent Voter Lists dominated by residents outside the village domicile.

Abstract

The following study aims to describe and evaluate the Effectiveness of the Family Hope Program in Wadungasih Village. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The informants were selected by purposive sampling, consisting of Beneficiary Families (KPM) and PKH Companions of Wadungasih Village, as those responsible for the Family Hope Program. The informant selection technique used in the following research is purposive sampling, namely technique. The data analysis model used is the Miles Huberman analysis model (1984), which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study indicate that the effectiveness of the Family Hope program in Wadungasih Village, Buduran District, Sidoarjo Regency has not fully achieved its goals because, in the implementation of the Family Hope Program, the Apparatus is still unable to implement the program properly in understanding the program inaccuracy of targets in receiving PKH assistance. PKH Companions still have several obstacles that prevent them from achieving these goals. This makes the effectiveness of the family hope program in Wadungasih Village still ineffective.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effectiveness of the Electronic Human Development Worker (e-HDW) system in data collection and stunting prevention in Kupang Village, Jabon District, Sidoarjo Regency. The background of this research lies in the high rate of stunting in the area, requiring digital innovation for child nutrition monitoring and reporting. The study uses a qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving village health cadres and public health centre staff. The analysis is based on Richard M. Steers’ organisational effectiveness theory, which includes three main indicators: goal attainment, integration, and adaptation. The results show that in terms of goal attainment, e-HDW improves data accuracy and accelerates early detection of stunting cases. In terms of integration, the system enhances inter-sectoral coordination among cadres, health centres, and local governments with adequate support and facilities. Regarding adaptation, cadres successfully adjust to digital systems through regular training and supervision. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of e-HDW is effective in improving data management, strengthening collaboration, and accelerating stunting reduction efforts in Kupang Village.
