Abstract

Keterampilan berpikir kritis termasuk kemampuan penting yang harus dimiliki siswa SMP karena menjadi dasar dalam menghadapi berbagai tantangan, baik dalam pembelajaran maupun aktivitas sehari-hari. Keterampilan berpikir kritis pelajar di Indonesia masih relatif lemah. Salah satu pemicunya adalah metode pengajaran yang masih didominasi oleh guru serta kurangnya keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses belajar. penelitian ini dilakukan guna menjelaskan penerapan suatu model adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) pada mata pelajaran PAI di SMP Muhammadiyah 44 Tangerang Selatan. Kajian ini berbasis kualitatif dengan sumber data utama berdasarkan dari pengamatan lapangan, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumen pendukung. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa faktor utama yang mendukung keberhasilan implementasi model ini adalah kompetensi guru yang memiliki keterampilan dan pengetahuan memadai dalam menerapkan IBL; ketersediaan sumber daya pembelajaran seperti teknologi dan bahan ajar yang memadai; fleksibilitas kurikulum yang dimiliki sekolah sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Tantangan utama penerapan IBL meliputi kebutuhan kolaborasi yang kuat antara guru, siswa, dan fasilitas sekolah; keterampilan guru dalam merancang pertanyaan pemantik dan kegiatan inquiry; ketersediaan bahan ajar dan fasilitas pendukung yang memadai; serta motivasi siswa untuk aktif berpartisipasi dalam pembelajaran berbasis inquiry.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan kebijakan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler olahraga di sekolah telah berlangsung dengan baik dan mendapat partisipasi yang cukup tinggi dari siswa. Namun demikian, permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana tingkat minat siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler olahraga, khususnya pada cabang olahraga tenis meja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana minat siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler tenis meja di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Negeri 14 Pekanbaru. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 14 Pekanbaru yang berjumlah 412 orang. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan persentase. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditemukan adanya perbedaan signifikan dalam tingkat minat siswa yang ditinjau dari dua dimensi utama, yaitu dimensi intrinsik dan ekstrinsik. Oleh karena itu, disarankan kepada pihak sekolah atau penyelenggara kegiatan ekstrakurikuler untuk merancang program-program yang lebih menarik dan sesuai dengan minat serta kebutuhan siswa, agar partisipasi dalam kegiatan tersebut dapat terus ditingkatkan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul hubungan motivasi berprestasi dan dukungan sosial orang tua terhadap prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Geografi Universitas Syiah Kuala. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi berprestasi dan dukungan sosial orang tua terhadap perilaku prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Geografi Universitas Syiah Kuala. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi berprestasi dan dukungan sosial orang tua terhadap perilaku prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Geografi Universitas Syiah Kuala. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan negatif antara motivasi berprestasi dan dukungan sosial orang tua terhadap prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Geografi Universitas Syiah Kuala. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasi dengan metode nonparametrik. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menyebarkan angket penelitian kepada sampel berjumlah 73 orang yang terdiri dari angkatan 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 dan 2017. Penyebaran angket dilakukan dengan teknik Accidental Sampling . Uji korelasi dalam penelitian ini menggunakan korelasi Kendall Tau pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Koefisien korelasi variabel motivasi berprestasi dan prokrastinasi akademik adalah -0,320 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,006 (p 0,05). Sedangkan nilai koefesien korelasi variabel dukungan sosial orang tua dan prokrastinasi akademik adalah -0,11 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,348 (p 0,05). Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel motivasi berprestasi terhadap prokrastinasi akademik. Sebaliknya tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel dukungan sosial orang tua terhadap prokrastinasi akademik.Kata Kunci: hubungan, motivasi berprestasi, dukungan sosial orang tua, prokrastinasi akademik.

Abstract

Communication technology facilitates information dissemination, but it also leads to information pollution. The youth, being the largest users, lacks filtering skills, making them vulnerable to false information. Teenagers in Pekanbaru City, who frequently use the internet, even though they are used to using the internet to produce and disseminate information, they may not realize false information is being spread. This research aims to look at the deep-fake experience among Pekanbaru teenagers. The method used in this research is qualitative with data collection techniques, namely interviews. The results of this study show that the media literacy experience of Pekanbaru teenagers in using the media is not for hoaxes and is at the level of technical skills of teenagers at an advanced level, critical understanding at a medium level, and communicative abilities at a medium level. In environmental factors, teenagers get it from peers and use deepfake not to produce hoaxes.

Abstract

The “Dewi Sri” Farmers Group is located in Terwidi Hamlet in Plalangan Village, Gunungpati, Semarang City, where part of the population raises various livestock, namely cows, goats and poultry. The problem that occurs is the accumulation of cow dung which causes environmental pollution. This service activity aims to overcome the buildup of livestock waste, especially cow manure by using it as organic fertilizer and then packaging it with an attractive design so that it has a high selling value. The methods used are preparation, socialization, and mentoring. The results obtained from this activity, the preparation/coordination stage with the head of KT Dewi Sri, the socialization stage in the form of an explanation of the innovative packaging design, and the mentoring stage in the form of the issuance of a Packaging Design Copyright by the Directorate General of Intellectual Property.

Abstract

Mental health is how a person adapts to themselves, others, and the environment. Adjusting to oneself is an effort to understand and accept one's strengths and weaknesses. The transition period from childhood to adulthood is called adolescence. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), adolescents are individuals aged 10 to 19 years, 80% of whom live in developing countries. Teenagers' emotional and mental well-being is related to the type of parenting they receive, whether it is authoritarian, permissive, or democratic. Adolescents who have a poor peer environment are in line with the increase in adolescents who experience mental and emotional problems. This is because teenagers do not get enough emotional support or social support from friends their age. Also, the living environment significantly impacts teenagers' lives, especially in character development. It can also endanger mental health if something terrible happens in the surrounding environment, creating a feeling of insecurity or discomfort about living in a slum area. The high use of social media can also influence adolescent behavior. Apart from that, it also has an indirect negative impact on mental health, such as the emergence of anti-social attitudes or, what is usually called apathy, and various other mental health disorders. So, several aspects can influence teenagers' mental health, one of which is parenting style, social environment, and internet addiction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the cooperative learning method with the Numbered Heads Together type on numeracy skills in early childhood. This study used the pre-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample for children aged 5-6 years was 16 children. Data collection was in the form of a checklist of child development data with value categories from not yet developed to very well developed. Data analysis used the t-test by fulfilling normality and homogeneity first. The results showed that the t-count value is greater than the t-table value (t-count t-table). So, it can be concluded that the cooperative learning method with the Numbered Heads Together type has an influence on the development of early childhood numeracy skills. Thus, the teacher can apply various types of cooperative learning methods in the classroom to improve other aspects of development.

Abstract

Family planning is a health service that helps individuals and couples control fertility, prevent unplanned pregnancies, and determine the number and spacing of children. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), injectable contraceptives are the most widely used method globally, accounting for 35.3% of contraceptive users. Despite their effectiveness, injectable contraceptives are associated with side effects, including changes in the menstrual cycle, which can lead to anxiety among users. This case study aims to scientifically document nursing care for mothers using injectable contraceptives, focusing on the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects. It emphasizes the importance of comprehensive nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and documentation to support maternal and family health. The descriptive case study method was applied to explore changes in the menstrual cycle and anxiety in mothers using injectable contraceptives. Data collection involved interviews, physical examinations, observation, document review, demographic data, and quality of life questionnaires. Data validity was maintained using credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability criteria. Ethical considerations included informed consent, anonymity, and confidentiality. Data were analyzed systematically to identify key findings. Findings indicated that menstrual disturbances in mothers were linked to the hormonal effects of injectable contraceptives, specifically the impact of progesterone on the hypothalamic-pituitary axis, leading to suppression of ovulation and alteration of menstrual patterns. Nursing interventions contributed to a reduction in anxiety and improvement in menstrual regulation. Proper nursing care, guided by structured assessment and ongoing evaluation, can address anxiety and menstrual issues related to injectable contraceptive use. Continued documentation is essential for ensuring the effectiveness and continuity of care.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasi siswa mengenai perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat, sosialisasi mengenai bahaya minyak jelantah dan pengolahan minyak jelantah, serta pembelajaran kewirausahaan sejak dini. Mitra dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah siswa SD Petompon 3 Sampangan kelas 5 dan 6. Berdasarkan hasil survey di SD Petompon 3 Sampangan, permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra adalah kondisi penerapan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) di SD N Petompon 3 sangat kurang. Warga sekolah, terutama siswa minim pengetahuan mengenai PHBS. Keterbatasan pengetahuan berdampak pada kondisi lingkungan sekitar yang kurang sehat. Salah satu kondisi lingkungan yang harus dibenahi adalah selokan sekitar sekolah yang digunakan untuk membuang minyak jelantah yang berpotensi mencemari lingkungan dan berdampak negatif bagi kesehatan. Dalam rangka mengatasi permasalah ini, tim pengabdian berinisiasi mengadakan solusi untuk melaksanakan program edukasi guna menumbuhkan kesadaran PHBS, melalui aksi sosialisasi pemurnian minyak jelantah hingga pemanfaatan menjadi sabun kertas. Selanjutnya, untuk memberikan dampak lebih signifikan tim pengabdian akan melaksanakan program edukasi kewirausahaan pemasaran sabun kertas bagi siswa. Diharapkan program ini dapat dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan dan dapat dipublikasikan sebagai referensi bagi gerakan pengabdian selanjutnya sehingga kebermanfaatan program-program dapat dirasakan secara luas bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

The new era is closely related to audiovisual entertainment, including films. Films reflect human feelings and experiences, so semiotic analysis is important to examine the meaning of visual and verbal signs, including the value of friendship. The Indonesian animated film Jumbo, with nearly 8 million viewers in 30 days, presents a warm story that can be analyzed semiotically to understand the value of friendship as a meaningful emotional and social bond. The purpose of this study is to determine the value of friendship in the film Jumbo using Ferdinand De Saussure's Semiotics analysis. The method used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The results of the study entitled "Semiotic Analysis of Friendship Values ​​in the Film Jumbo with the Ferdinand de Saussure Approach", can be concluded that the film Jumbo displays the construction of friendship values ​​through the relationship between the signifier and the signified which appears in the form of visual, verbal, and gestural signs.
