Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini mengkaji urgensi strategi branding melalui video profil untuk meningkatkan daya tarik masyarakat terhadap Depo Pasar Ikan Sidoarjo, yang memiliki potensi besar sebagai destinasi wisata berbasis perikanan. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas video profil dalam mempromosikan keunikan dan fasilitas pasar serta memperluas jangkauan promosi secara digital. Metode penelitian kualitatif digunakan dengan teknik wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi lapangan untuk memahami dampak promosi terhadap persepsi masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa video profil berhasil meningkatkan citra positif destinasi, menarik lebih banyak pengunjung lokal dan luar daerah, serta mendukung peningkatan ekonomi lokal. Inovasi penelitian ini berada pada perpaduan teknologi video branding dengan promosi destinasi wisata berbasis komunitas. Dampak praktisnya adalah pentingnya memperkuat kolaborasi antara pemerintah, komunitas, dan teknologi untuk menunjang pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan. This community service examines the urgency of branding strategy through profile videos to increase public appeal to the Sidoarjo Fish Market Depo, which has excellent potential as a fisheries-based tourist destination. The purpose of this community service is to evaluate the effectiveness of profile videos in promoting the uniqueness and facilities of the market and expanding the reach of digital promotion. Qualitative research methods are used with interview techniques, documentation, and field observation to understand the impact of promotion on public perception. The study results show that profile videos have succeeded in increasing the positive image of the destination, attracting more local and out-of-town visitors, and supporting the improvement of the local economy. This research's innovation is combining video branding technology with community-based tourism destination promotion. The practical impact is strengthening government, community, and technology collaboration to support sustainable tourism development.

Abstract

Di era globalisasi, kewirausahaan menjadi kompetensi krusial bagi mahasiswa untuk berperan sebagai agen perubahan sosial dan ekonomi melalui pemanfaatan potensi lokal, salah satunya bunga telang (Clitoria ternatea). Bunga telang kaya akan antosianin dan memiliki khasiat antioksidan, pewarna alami, serta potensi anti diabetes. Kegiatan ini bertujuan menumbuhkan ide bisnis mahasiswa dengan memanfaatkan warna alami bunga telang sebagai dasar pengembangan produk wirausaha berbasis bahan alami. Metode yang digunakan adalah presentasi pembuatan olahan makanan berbasis bunga telang dan dilakukan pengetesan rasa dan visual warna. Hasilnya, ketiga produk inovasi tersebut berhasil dikembangkan dengan ciri khas warna biru keunguan alami yang menarik perhatian, dengan proses pembuatan yang relatif mudah diikuti. Pemanfaatan bunga telang terbukti efektif meningkatkan daya tarik visual produk sekaligus memberikan nilai tambah kesehatan. Disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan usaha berbasis bunga telang memiliki potensi besar sebagai ide bisnis mahasiswa yang kreatif, berkelanjutan, dan ramah Lingkungan.

Abstract

Berbek Industrial Estate is the largest industrial area in Sidoarjo Regency. The most dominant concentration of heavy metals in industrial areas is chromium in water and sediments in rivers which have the potential to have a negative impact on humans, this is because rivers are a place for developing aquatic organisms including fish that are consumed by local residents. Parameters include chromium content in river water and sediment. Spatial distribution analysis uses the kriging method on laboratory results and overlay to describe the distribution map. The result of the highest content in water parameters is the location of Gedongan Village at 0.31 ppm. Based on Peraturan Pemerntah Republik Indonesia Nomor 82 Tahun 2001 on Water Management and Pollution Control, states that the environmental quality standard for chromium in class III rivers is 0.05 mg/L. The highest content in sediment is the Berbek location at 3.24 ppm.

Abstract

Timbulan sampah yang semakin meningkat membutuhkan pengelolaan sampah yang maksimal. Pengelolaan sampah yang maksimal membutuhkan infrastruktur untuk mengelola sampah dari sumbernya. Salah satu infrastruktur untuk mengelola sampah dari sumber yaitu Tempat Pengelolaan Sampah Terpadu (TPST). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proyeksi jumlah timbulan sampah dan sarana dan prasarana di TPST Desa Kalidawir hingga tahun 2032. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis matematis dan perhitungan timbulan sampah mengacu pada SNI 19-3983-1995. Sedangkan untuk proyeksi penduduk menggunakan metode aritmatika. Hasil penelitian jumlah penduduk Desa Kalidawir pada tahun 2023 sebesar 4.118 jiwa dengan timbulan sampah sebesar 11,324 m3/hari dan pada tahun 2032 jumlah penduduk yaitu sebesar 5.897 jiwa dengan timbulan sampah sebesar 16,216 m3/hari. Kebutuhan tenaga kerja di TPST Desa Kalidawir pada tahun 2032 berdasarkan hasil perhitungan proyeksi tenaga kerja sebanyak 18 orang dan untuk luas fasilitas pengolahan sampah sebesar 261 m2. The increasing generation of waste requires maximum waste management. Maximum waste management requires infrastructure to manage waste from the source. One of the infrastructures for managing waste from the source is the Integrated Waste Management Site (TPST). This research aims to determine the projection of the amount of waste generation and facilities and infrastructure at the Kalidawir Village TPST until 2032. This research uses mathematical analysis methods and waste generation calculations referring to SNI 19-3983-1995. Meanwhile, population projections use the arithmetic method. The research results show that the population of Kalidawir Village in 2023 will be 4,118 people with a waste generation of 11,324 m3/day, and in 2032 the population will be 5,897 people with waste generation of 16,216 m3/day. The need for labor at the Kalidawir Village TPST in 2032 is based on the results of a projected workforce of 18 people and a waste processing facility area of 261 m2.

Abstract

Berbek Industrial Estate is the largest industrial area in Sidoarjo Regency. Industrial activities have a positive and negative impact on the environment. One of the negative impacts on the environmental because of industrial activities is decreased water quality. The water quality around the Berbek industries suffers decreased water quality. This study aims to mapping and analysing the spatial distribution patterns of cadmium which are expected to provide information patterns in the area. The sample taken is river water in the area of ​​the Berbek Industrial, Waru District, Sidoarjo Regency. The methods used are surveys and laboratory tests. The distribution pattern of cadmium in the waters was carried out by spatial analysis used in ArcGis 10.1 Kriging Interpolation method. The highest cadmium concentration was found at the river location in Wedoro, namely 0.18 ppm, while the lowest cadmium concentration was found at the river location in Gedongan, namely 0.10 ppm. The patterns of cadmium spread in river area of ​​Berbek Industrial showed that cadmium which was came from Wedoro river was higher compared to other river spreads.

Abstract

The existence of this industry in Sidoarjo has the negative potential impact to the environment, namely the accumulation of heavy metals in paddy fields. The magnitude of the impact that can be caused by the presence of lead heavy metals, research is needed that is expected to provide information related to the concentration and distribution of lead on land in Sidoarjo district. The distribution will later be elaborated by mapping using Geographic Information Systems. The purpose of this research is to identify the potential distribution of lead heavy metals in soil and soil in Sidoarjo paddy fields and the potential impact of lead accumulation on the environment. Samples taken were soil in the paddy fields, with 18 location points. The method used in the identification of lead distribution in paddy fields in Sidoarjo district is survey and laboratory testing, where the pattern of lead content distribution in paddy fields is carried out using spatial analysis with the spline with barrier method Arcgis 10.1. The highest distribution of lead content in paddy fields in Wonoayu District, 0.46 ppm. The highest dominant distribution pattern of lead pollution in paddy fields is Wonoayu and Waru sub-districts.

Abstract

Multivariable processes are the general classification for process features in the chemical industry. The variables in a single process unit interact with one another through more than one input and output. Since parameters interact with one another, changing one parameter's variable requires changing another parameter's variable as well. Further research is needed to determine how to create controllers that can handle interactions in the process. A MIMO control system is exemplified by the coupled tank system. Coupled tanks are present, and they communicate with one another by horizontal pipes. An interacting system can be represented using a coupled tank setup. Decoupling can be added to reduce the interactions that take place between variables. According to the results of the simulation, adding decoupling reduces the IAE value compared to not adding it. When the setpoint for tank level 1 (H1) was changed, the system's IAE value was 17.35 without the addition of decoupling, whereas it was 11.71 with it.

Abstract

Limbah plastik merupakan salah satu permasalahan global yang serius. Hal ini dikarenakan sifat plastik yang sulit terurai di alam. Tujuan dilakukan pelatihan ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada warga Desa Tulangan agar menjadi lebih kreatif dan dapat membantu meningkatkan perekonomian warga serta meminimalisir jumlah sampah plastik yang dihasilkan oleh warga Desa Tulangan. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan melakukan pengolahan limbah/sampah plastik menjadi kerajinan tas dengan memanfaatkan limbah plastik yang dihasilkan dari sampah rumah tangga. Pelatihan yang dilakukan menghasilkan produk berupa tas yang memiliki bentuk dan desain yang menarik serta layak untuk dijual.

Abstract

Organic waste can be reprocessed into compost. Compost can be made using several methods. One composting method is the Takakura method. This method has advantages compared to other methods, namely 1) it is practical, does not require a large location, the basket can be placed anywhere as needed, 2) it is easy because the waste is only put and buried in the composter, 3) it does not smell, because the process is through fermentation, not rotting. The aim of holding this training is to increase students' knowledge and skills in managing organic waste into compost so that they can reduce the amount of waste and create a cleaner andhealthier environment. The activities carried out include socializing waste sorting and making compost, handing over trash bins, making compost, maintaining compost, applying compost to planting media and monitoring the results of compost applicationto planting media.

Abstract

Waste is one of the causes of environmental problems, especially plastic waste. Therefore, education is carried out regarding knowledge about waste and waste utilization to minimize the accumulation of plastic waste. The aim of this education is so that high school students have environmental awareness and are able to be creative in utilizing surrounding waste to make environmentally friendly products that have high economic value. This education was carried out using a presentation method regarding waste materials and examples of waste utilization, namely coconut fiber waste which has the potential to be used as a strengthening material in the manufacture of biodegradable plastic. The results of the education provided show that there has been an increase in understanding regarding waste and its use on the "sangat mengetahui" indicator of 86.67%.
