Abstract

Status gizi merupakan faktor penting yang mempengaruhi derajat kesehatan. Masalah gizi utama yang dihadapi Indonesia saat ini adalah kejadian balita underweight dan stunting. Untuk menanggulangi masalah underweight dan stunting ini, pemerintah membuat beberapa program gizi dan sudah dilaksanakan secara menyeluruh dan kontinu di Indonesia. Namun, program tersebut belum memberikan hasil yang optimal. Oleh karena itu, perlu dianalisis program gizi yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap persentase underweight dan stunting pada balita di Indonesia. Proses analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis regresi multivariat. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang dilakukan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa program gizi yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap persentase underweight dan stunting pada balita di Indonesia adalah persentase bayi mendapat ASI eksklusif, persentase balita kurus mendapat makanan tambahan, persentase ibu hamil risiko KEK, persentase wanita usia subur risiko KEK, dan persentase rumah tangga mengonsumsi garam beriodium.Kata Kunci: Underweight, Stunting, Program Gizi, Analisis Regresi Multivariat

Abstract

Background: Most investigators use ordinary least squares (OLS) methods to model low birth weight. When the data are non-normal or contain outliers, OLS become ineffective. However, the quantile method of forecasting low birth weight has not been fully evaluated, although it has good potential for overcoming problems associated with linear regression. Methods: The present study reports our comparison between the OLS and quantile regression methods for modeling low birth weight when the data are right skewed and outliers are presented. Additionally, we evaluated the performance of the associated algorithm in recovering the true parameter using the bootstrap method. Results: Our study found that a mother’s education level, the number of maternal parities, and the last birth interval significantly impacted low birth weight at any selected low quantile. Based on the bootstrap simulation study, the proposed model was considered to be acceptable since both methods generated nearly identical estimates of the parameter model. An accuracy test proved that the quantile method was an unbiased estimator. Conclusions: The present study found that low birth weight is significantly affected by the mother’s educational level, the number of maternal parities, and the last birth interval.

Abstract

An option is a right by a person or institution to sell or buy an investment instrument at a certain price for a certain period. The point of view for way an option is exercised, there are two types of options known today, namely European options and American options. European options are characterized by option contracts that can only be exercised at the expiration date of the option. American options are indicated by option contracts that can be exercised at any time within the validity of the option contract. There are several methods that can be used in determining option prices, including the Black Scholes method which can be used to calculate the standard price of options. Monte Carlo simulation is a method that gives all possible values of a variable using the average as an estimator of its exact value. Quasi Monte Carlo simulation is an alternative to Monte Carlo simulation which uses quasi-random sequences instead of random numbers. In this article, the quasi-random sequence used is Van der Courput. Calculate option prices with Monte Carlo simulation and Quasi Monte Carlo simulation using MATLAB.

Abstract

Space time permutation scan statistics merupakan metode yang digunakan dalam mengidentifikasi kelompok daerah yang memiliki risiko tinggi (hotspot) atau rendah (coldspot) dari suatu kejadian luar biasa berdasarkan aspek ruang dan waktu. Metode ini hanya membutuhkan data kasus yaitu waktu dan lokasi untuk mendeteksi suatu kejadian tanpa membutuhkan data populasi. Pada penelitian ini, akan ditentukan hotspot kasus pencurian motor di Kota Padang, Sumatera Barat dalam periode Desember 2019 sampai dengan November 2020 dengan menggunakan data kasus harian curanmor yang bersumber dari Kepolisian Resort Kota Padang. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan data spasial dari masing-masing tempat kejadian dengan bantuan dari data satelit Goggle Earth Pro. Daerah yang signifikan secara statistik yang berpotensi menjadi hotspot diambil berdasarkan Likelihood Ratio Test (LRT) dan ditetapkan berdasarkan scanning window yang memiliki nilai LRT tertinggi dengan nilai-p < 0.05. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang didapat dengan bantuan software SaTScan, dari 5 calon kandidat hotspot, didapat 2 hotspot yang berpusat di Padang Timur yang meliputi Padang Timur, Padang Selatan dan Lubuk Begalung dan Pauh yang meliputi Pauh, Koto Tangah dan Lubuk Kilangan.

Abstract

Pendidikan menjadi salah satu tujuan utama dalam rencana pembangunan di Indonesia. Pembangunan pendidikan diukur dengan indikator-indikator terkait pendidikan. Ketercapaian pembangunan pendidikan setiap provinsi di Indonesia berbeda sehingga dengan cara mengelompokkan provinsi- provinsi tersebut berdasarkan kemiripan indikator yang tercapai dapat memudahkan pemerintah memberikan program peningkatan pembangunan pendidikan. Indikator pembangunan pendidikan yang digunakan dalam pengelompokan adalah sarana dan prasarana pendidikan, sanitasi sekolah, partisipasi sekolah, dan angka putus sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Subtractive Fuzzy C-Means. Pengolahan data mengambil jari-jari yang beragam yaitu 1.00, 1.10, 1.20, 1.30, dan 1.50. Hasil indeks validitas klaster menunjukkan jari-jari 1.50 yang membentuk 2 klaster merupakan jumlah klaster terbaik. Jumlah keanggotaan klaster pertama sebanyak 20 provinsi. Provinsi-provinsi yang menjadi keanggotaannya tersebar di seluruh indonesia bagian barat kecuali Aceh. Kemudian sebahagian provinsi di Indonesia bagian tengah yaitu Pulau Kalimantan kecuali Kalimantan Tengah, Gorontalo pada Pulau Sulawesi dan Bali. Sedangkan jumlah provinsi yang masuk keanggotaan klaster kedua sebanyak 14 provinsi. Keanggotaannya tersebar pada provinsi-provinsi selain yang menjadi anggota klaster pertama. Berdasarkan karakteristik klaster, klaster kedua merupakan klaster terbaik dibanding klaster pertama.KataKunci : Pembangunan Pendidikan, Pengelompokan, Subtractive Fuzzy C-Means

Abstract

Kematian bayi adalah kematian yang terjadi antara saat setelah bayi lahir sampai bayi belum berusia tepat satu tahun. Angka Kematian Bayi (AKB) adalah banyaknya kematian bayi berusia di bawah satu tahun per 1.000 kelahiran hidup pada satu tahun tertentu. Rata-rata jumlah kematian bayi perlu diketahui sebagai upaya untuk mengurangi angka kematian bayi. Pada penelitian ini akan diduga rata-rata kematian bayi tiap puskesmas di Kabupaten Padang Pariaman menggunakan metode Bayes. Data yang digunakan adalah data jumlah kematian bayi di puskesmas di Kabupaten Padang Pariaman sepanjang tahun 2019 dan 2020. Telah diperlihatkan bahwa jumlah kematian bayi menyebar menurut sebaran Poisson. Sebaran prior yang digunakan adalah sebaran Gamma, Uniform dan dengan metode Jeffrey. Rata-Rata jumlah kematian bayi diduga dari sebaran posterior Gamma, diperoleh dugaan rata-rata kematian bayi adalah sebesar 0, 83 per puskesmas. Disimpulkan juga bahwa pendugaan Bayes dengan distribusi prior Gamma lebih baik dibandingkan distribusi prior lainnya.

Abstract

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the education sector includes the learning system that cannot be conducted directly (offline). With the change in the learning system, it is necessary to evaluate whether the implemented online learning system can run well and provide results as expected. The level of student satisfaction is one of the factors that can be used to evaluate online learning. This study analyzed the student satisfaction level with online learning for the Mathematics Statistics II course at the Mathematics Department of Andalas University, related to service quality by lecture and the level of student understanding. Data analysis was conducted using causal modeling, namely Partial Least Square Structural Equations Modeling (PLS-SEM). By using The PLS-SEM, it is known that there is a significant and positive effect of service quality on student satisfaction in the Mathematics Statistics II course. In addition, the service quality also affects the understanding level significantly and positively. However, the level of student understanding has no significant effect on the level of student satisfaction. The coefficient of determination (R2) from the structural model of student satisfaction toward the Mathematics Statistics II course online learning is 0.774. This value indicates that the resulting model is good because it has relatively high accuracy.

Abstract

The "Sembako Program" is a program carried out by the Indonesian government to improve the welfare of low-income communities. The purposes of this study are: (a) to determine the classification of households that deserve to receive basic-food assistance in Koto Panjang Payobasung, West Sumatra, using the KNN classifier and (b) to determine the optimal number of nearest neighbors used in the classification process. The measure of proximity between objects used is the Gower dissimilarity coefficient. This research used primary data consisting of 175 households collected purposively in a survey conducted on all households in Payobasung.  The optimal K value is determined by implementing a 5-fold cross-validation procedure. The result showed that the best classification process is when K = 3 nearest neighbors are used since it produces the highest accuracy coefficient and Mattews correlation coefficient (MCC). Therefore, for further work, in deciding the eligibility of a household to receive the Sembako Program in Payobasung, KNN can be used by considering its 3 nearest neighbors

Abstract

Mathematics is one of the most essential basic sciences because it closely relates to everyday life and the development of other disciplines. It should be taught at every education level, likewise for Islamic boarding school students. In addition to having extensive religious knowledge, students must also have increased thinking, logic and reasoning. In addition, mathematics is also an essential tool in studying several topics of Islamic law, such as inheritance law and zakat. Therefore, mathematics must be taught in the education and teaching curriculum at the Islamic boarding school, including the As-'Ashry Islamic Boarding School. One of the obstacles the Al-'Ashry Islamic boarding school faces in teaching mathematics is that students need more interest and motivation in learning mathematics. Therefore, this community service activity was carried out to increase the interest and motivation of students to learn mathematics. The activity was held on December 7, 2022. The activity was carried out in two forms: a motivational lecture and a math puzzle called Magic Square. Based on the evaluation carried out by the community service team, it was evident that the students were interested in the activities carried out. Students were fully involved in every activity carried out.

Abstract

Mathematics is a field of study needed in various aspects of life. Accordingly, mathematics should always be considered a compulsory subject at every level of education, including in Islamic Boarding Schools. The fact shows that implementing mathematics learning in several schools needs to run optimally, especially in schools lacking teachers and limited educational facilities and infrastructure, such as The Al Ashry Islamic Boarding School, at the secondary level in Padang. This condition indicates that it is necessary to assist other parties to help students in their mathematics learning process. For this reason, the community service team of The Mathematics and Science Data Department of Andalas University conducted an intensive mathematics tutoring activity for The Al-Asyri Boarding School students. The activity carried out during September-December 2022 combined the lecture and the small group discussion approach. From the evaluation delivered by the students at the end of the activity, it can be concluded that this activity increased students’ interest, motivation, efficacy, and understanding of mathematics subject.
