Abstract

Penerapan manajemen arsip elektronik (MAE) di Kejaksaan Negeri Sijunjung menjadi krusial dalam mengoptimalkan pengelolaan arsip di era digital. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi efektivitas MAE dan mengidentifikasi peluang serta tantangan yang dihadapi. Dengan beralih dari metode manual, MAE menawarkan efisiensi dalam akses, keamanan, dan kolaborasi informasi. Namun, tantangan seperti resistensi pegawai dan masalah keamanan data perlu diatasi. Melalui penggunaan aplikasi SIPEDE, pengelolaan arsip dapat dilakukan dengan lebih baik, mempercepat proses administrasi, dan meningkatkan transparansi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa MAE tidak hanya meningkatkan kinerja administratif, tetapi juga mendukung akuntabilitas dalam pengelolaan informasi, sehingga meningkatkan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap institusi kejaksaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan literasi informasi, hasil penerapan literasi informasi dan hasil kemampuan literasi siswa kelas XII MIPA 1 SMAN 13 Padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII MIPA 1 SMAN 13 Padang dengan metode sampling jenuh. Instrument yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuisioner. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan kuisioner. Uji validitas dalam penelitian ini merupakan validitas item instrument dari angket dengan metode Kolerasi Pearson. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas XII MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 13 Padang sudah mampu dalam memahami serta menggunakan berbagai sumber dalam literasi informasi dalam mengerjakan tugas sekolah dan mengevaluasi hasil belajar.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the level of satisfaction librarians had towards the iSumbar Mambaco application by utilizing the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) method. This method focused on end users' satisfactions towards the use of the information system by evaluating the Content, Accuracy, Format, Ease of Use, and Timeliness. The research method used was a descriptive method done by obtaining the data directly from the observed field. The objects researched were iSumbar Mambaco's librarians which were 95 respondents that were chosen randomly. The technique of data collection was distributing questionnaires in the form of Google Form that were sent through WhatsApp. The data analysis was done by using Likert scale. Based on the result of the research, the level of satisfaction the librarians had towards the iSumbar Mambaco application was averaging at 2,97. This showed that the satisfaction level of the librarians was at level 3 (positive). The Accuracy dimension yielded the highest mean score at 3,13, while the lowest score was achieved by the Timeliness dimension with the mean score of 2,80.

Abstract

The background of this research is that archive management is not yet optimal, thus creating obstacles in retrieving archives because human resources do not have a background in archival science and employee work efficiency has not been optimally achieved. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of inactive dynamic archive management on the work efficiency of employees at the Padang Pariaman District Library and Archives Service. This research approach is quantitative and causal-associative. The population in this study were employees of the Padang Pariaman Regency Library and Archives Service. The sample in this study was taken using a simple random sampling technique. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires. Data analysis techniques are used to see the description of the variables using the proportion formula and the mean (average). Meanwhile, to see the effect of variable X on variable Y using simple linear regression analysis, the results of this study indicate that: (1) management of dynamic archives is very well absorbed; (2) there is very good employee work efficiency; and (3) there is an influence of inactive dynamic archive management on the work efficiency of employees at the Padang Pariaman Regency Library and Archives Service. This can be seen from the results of the simple linear regression analysis, which obtained a significance value of 0,002 < 0.05.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the perceptions of inmates towards Islamic collections in the Class IIB Correctional Institution Library in Solok City. This research uses a quantitative type of research using descriptive methods. The population in this study were all inmates who borrowed Islamic collections from the library, namely a sample of 52 respondents. To collect data using a questionnaire. The results of this research are: (1) Relevance, obtaining an average of 2.59 categorized as good; (2) Recency, getting an average of 2.43 is considered not good; (3) Title ratio, getting an average of 2.85 which is categorized as good; (4) Quality, getting an average of 3.0 is considered good: (5) Scientific objects, getting an average of 3.25 is considered very good. Based on the overall average obtained, namely 2.78, it is categorized as quite good, but it needs improvement and support according to the number of users, number of titles and budgets from various parties in order to get satisfactory results.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the digital literacy level of students in the 2021 Padang State University Library and Information Science Study Program. The type of research used is a descriptive research method with a quantitative approach using a total sample. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and data analysis using data description, data analysis, validity and reliability tests and then drawing conclusions. The research results show that the average gain score on the internet searching indicator is 3.11 (high category), the average gain score on the hypertext navigation indicator is 2.82 (high category) , the average score on the information content evaluation indicator (content evaluation) is 3.05 (high category), and the average score on the knowledge assembly indicator is 3.09 (high category). Based on this data, it can be concluded that the digital literacy level of the 2021 students of the Padang State University Library and Information Science Study Program has a high level of digital literacy, with an average score of 3.02 (high category).

Abstract

This study analyzes the use of institutional repositories by Universitas Putra Indonesia YPTK Padang students as a source of academic reference. Using a quantitative descriptive approach, data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 100 students. The results showed that this repository supports cost savings, provides easy and quick access to academic resources, and is relevant to lecture needs. However, students' awareness of the term "institutional repository" is still low, which indicates the need for increased socialization. This finding is expected to be the basis for library managers to optimize repository services as an effective learning facility in the university environment.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the following. (1) implementation of collection standards at Bung Hatta University Library (2) implementation of facilities and infrastructure standards at Bung Hatta University Library (3) implementation of service standards at Bung Hatta University Library (4) implementation of library promotion standards at Bung Hatta University Library (5) implementation of library staff standards at Bung Hatta University Library, and (6) implementation of information and communication technology standards at Bung Hatta University Library. The research methodology used is qualitative research with the type of Field Research research and uses a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study were one library officer and two people from the library users at the Bung Hatta University Library. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded as follows. First, the implementation of collection standards, consisting of nine sub-indicators, of the nine sub-indicators, there are six sub-indicators that meet standard implementation and three sub-indicators that do not meet standard implementation. Second, the implementation of facilities and infrastructure standards, consisting of five sub-indicators, of the five sub-indicators, there are two sub-indicators that meet the implementation of standards and three sub-indicators that have not met the implementation of standards. Third, the implementation of service standards, consisting of two sub-indicators, of the nine sub-indicators, there is one sub-indicator that meets the implementation of standards and one sub-indicator has not met the implementation of standards. Fourth, the implementation of library promotion standards, this indicator has met the standard implementation. Fifth, the implementation of library staff standards, consisting of three sub-indicators, of the three sub-indicators, there is one sub-indicator that meets the standard implementation and two sub-indicators have not met the standard implementation. Sixth, the implementation of information and communication technology standards, this indicator has not met the implementation of standards. Thus, of the twenty-one sub-indicators assessing the implementation of the Regulation of the Head of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia Number 13 of 2017 concerning National Library Standards at the UPT Library of Bung Hatta University, those that meet the National Standards for Higher Education Libraries based on the Regulation of the Head of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia Number 13 of 2017 concerning National Standards for Higher Education Libraries are 11 sub-indicators and those that have not met the standards are 10 sub-indicators.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi pemustaka terhadap ketersediaan koleksi di layanan perpustakaan keliling Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kota Sungai Penuh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik penarikan sampel yang digunakan yaitu sampling purposive yang diambil mewakili populasi. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 98 sampel. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan empat indikator dengan rata-rata 2,62. (1) kerelevanan koleksi diperoleh skor rata-rata 2,49 berada pada interval rendah dikategori kurang sesuai, terdapat kurang relevan karena pandangan pemustaka perpustakaan keliling belum terlalu relevan dengan penggunanya; (2) berorientasi kepada pengguna diperoleh skor rata-rata 2,85 berada pada interval terbilang tinggi dikategori sesuai bahwa koleksi yang ada di perpustakaan keliling dapat dikatakan koleksi yang ada cukup sesuai dengan kebutuhan pemustaka; (3) kelengkapan koleksi diperoleh skor rata-rata 2,69 berada pada interval cukup tinggi dikategori sesuai bahwa pemustaka merasa koleksi yang ada di perpustakaan keliling cukup lengkap dengan koleksi yang ada; (4) kemuktahiran koleksi diperoleh skor rata-rata 2,45 berada pada interval rendah dikategori kurang sesuai dikarenakan pemustaka merasa koleksi yang ada di perpustakaan keliling kurang terbaru dan terkini. Maka dari itu skor yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa ketersediaan koleksi perlu ditingkatkan lagi di perpustakaan keliling Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kota sungai Penuh.

Abstract

The Lecturer Works Collection Service (LBKD) is a form of utilizing local collections in university libraries that plays a crucial role in supporting academic needs; however, student perceptions of this service remain underexplored. This study aims to investigate student perceptions of the LBKD service at the UPT Library of Universitas Andalas. A descriptive quantitative method was employed, with data collected via a Google Form-based questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents selected through simple random sampling from a population of 53,336 users. The research instrument was tested for validity and reliability using the Pearson Product Moment and Cronbach’s Alpha tests. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics on a Likert scale. The results show that students generally have a positive perception of the LBKD service, with the indicator of collection relevance to academic needs achieving 72.79% and an average user experience score of 3.04. However, the frequency of information exposure recorded the lowest score of 1.97, indicating the need to enhance communication and service promotion strategies. These findings underscore the importance of content relevance, user experience, and communication effectiveness as key factors in evaluating the success of information services in libraries. The implications of this study support the development of evidence-based information services in library and information science and recommend further research using qualitative approaches and cross-faculty participation to gain deeper insights.
