Abstract

The influence of the use of supportive learning media in today's modern times is linked to low student achievement on French language learning, especially on French language learning material. The purpose of this research was to determine the effectiveness of using the Canva application on improving the French language learning outcomes of students at tenth grade. This research is quasi-experimental research. This study is used sampling technique which is simple random. The selection of sample members from the population is done randomly without considering the existing strata in the population. This research used two classes, namely X IPA class 1 as an experimental class (Implementation of Canva app) and X IPA class 4 as a control class using only Whatsapp. The data collection technique in this research was in the form of a test consisting of a pre-test and a post-test. Based on the t-test calculations that were performed in the experimental class and the control class, the sig. 000 then if the probability value is sig (two-sided) or (sig 0.05) then Ho is accepted. So, there is the effectiveness of using Canva app to increase the French language learning outcomes of tenth grade students.

Abstract

Marriage is an institution that binds two individuals in a relationship officially recognized religion, law and customs. This becomes the foundation important in building a happy family life and sustainable. However, early marriage, especially under the age of 20, poses serious challenges. Teenagers often marry too young not ready to handle the responsibilities of marriage and the risks of experiencing health and economic problems. This problem occurs throughout Indonesia, reflects the complexity of social and economic problems. The need for action strong preventive and intervention to overcome early marriage and improve community welfare. Qualitative descriptive research uses an interview approach and data analysis. Combining qualitative methods, this research explores socio-economic factors that influence early marriage. The aim is to provide a holistic understanding for more effective development policies. Early marriage has a serious impact on individuals and society, influenced by social, economic factors and parental influence. Children or teenagers who marry at a young age are at risk of facing health, educational and economic problems, poverty and gender inequality. Steps such as upgrading education, women's empowerment, and economic development It is necessary to reduce early marriage and deal with its impacts appropriately.

Abstract

Background: Breast milk is the best nutritional liquid and has many important nutrients to support the baby's growth. Based on Riskesdas 2021, 52.5% of the 2.3 million babies do not receive exclusive breastfeeding. One of the factors causing babies not to get exclusive breastfeeding, such as flat or immersed nipples, sore nipples, swollen breasts, mastitis, improper breastfeeding position. Various efforts can be made to facilitate breast milk, one of which is breast care. Objective: To find out the effectiveness of breast care for post partum mothers with smooth breastfeeding at PMB Maryati Amd.Keb in 2023. Method: Implemented with a quasi-experimental design using a one group pretest and posttest design. with a total sample of 13 people. In the pre-test, the smoothness of the milk before breast care was seen, and in the post-test, the smoothness of the milk was evaluated after the mother had received breast care for 7 days, carried out 2x a day (morning and evening). Results: Characteristics of respondents based on average age were at the age of 20-30 years 61.5%, High School Education 69.2%, Parity 3-4 children 46.2%, Normal delivery 92.3%, BBL> 2500gr namely 92 .3%. For a comparison before and after further breast care shows that the value of sig(2tailed) t paired is 0.000. Conclusion: There is an effect of breast care on post partum mothers with the smoothness of breastfeeding at PMB Maryati Amd.Keb in 2023.

Abstract

Project-based learning (PjBL) has been widely implemented in language learning. However, no research has been conducted on its use with linguistic landscape (LL) as a pedagogical tool in primary schools. This study was therefore conducted to look into the use of PjBL with LL for language practices and values in primary school. The purpose is to analyse the kinds of PjBL incorporating LL conducted, the teaching procedures implemented, the competencies and values promoted, and teachers’ opinions about its use for primary school. The study used a mixed-methods design that relied heavily on qualitative description and was supplemented with quantitative analysis. The study was conducted at a primary school, which was selected using the purposive sampling technique. Six teachers, six experts and students of grades 4, 5, and 6 teachers were involved. The amount of 520 LL was collected during the year 2022 using direct observation, questionnaire, interviews, and document study analysis. The data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results show that PjBL of various kinds (PLS projects, legacy students’ projects, event-based and annual projects) has been incorporated into LL for language instruction. The teacher needs to prepare, introduce the concept of LL, allow students to observe and analyze the tasks, have discussions, design and creation, presentation and display, and reflection as the teaching procedure.  Multifaceted competence and values are promoted. The teachers and experts have positive opinions about it. The study implied that PjBL with LL is very beneficial for language practices and character values.

Abstract

Anemia dalam kehamilan memerlukan perhatian serius dari pihak yang terkait dalam pelayanan kesehatan. Anemia dalam kehamilan merupakan kondisi adanya penurunan sel darah merah atau menurunnya) kadar Hb sehingga kapasitas daya angkut oksigen untuk kebutuhan organ-organ vital pada ibu dan janin menjadi berkurang. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor kejadian anemia pada ibu hamil trimester III di UPT Puskesmas Cikedal Kabupaten Pandeglang Tahun 2023. Metode penelitian: penelitian deskriptif analitik melalui pendekatan metode cross section. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu hamil trimester III di UPT Puskesmas Cikedal Kabupaten Pandeglang Banten dengan jumlah 48 ibu hamil. Analisis datanya menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian: sebagian besar ibu hamil trimester III di UPT Puskesmas Cikedal Kabupaten Pandeglang Tahun 2023 tidak mengalami anemia sebanyak 26 orang (54,2%). Tidak ada hubungan antara gravida (p = 0,072) dan jarak kehamilan (p = 0,312) dengan kejadian anemia pada ibu hamil trimester III. Variabel yang berhubungan dengan kejadian anemia pada ibu hamil trimester III di UPT Puskesmas Cikedal Kabupaten Pandeglang Tahun 2023 adalah umur (p = 0,000), pendidikan (p = 0,000), kunjungan ANC (p = 0,000) dan asupan tablet Fe (p = 0,008).\ Kesimpulan: faktor-fator yang berhubungan dengan kejadian anemia pada ibu hamil trimester III yaitu umur, pendidikan, kunjungan ANC dan asupan tablet Fe. Perlunya petugas kesehatan meningkatkan upaya promosi kesehatan mengenai anemia pada ibu hamil trimester III dan memotivasi ibu hamil melakukan kunjungan ANC dengan tepat untuk mencegah kejadian anemia

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the types of verb conjugation errors in preference expressions of 4th-semester Unimed students in simple sentences in French, explore the errors in the use of articles defined by 4th-semester Unimed students in preference expressions, especially in simple sentences in French. The problems of this study are: what are the differences in verb conjugation errors in preference expressions of 4th-semester students, and what are the errors in the use of definite articles in preference expressions of 4th-semester students? This research uses descriptive methods and qualitative research methods. The results of the research conducted allow us to conclude that there are forms of errors in the use of preference expressions. The forms of errors observed vary greatly and can be detailed as follows: the forms of errors observed, there are forms of errors that are most often found in students’ writing, namely grammatical errors of definite articles, which amount to 116, and grammatical errors of verb conjugation which amount to 69. Then, the rest are grammatical errors in prepositions and grammatical errors in verbs in the infinitive. The writing ability of Unimed reg b 2022 students is still low, as evidenced by their many mistakes.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using the Coffee Break French podcast to improve the listening comprehension skills of students at MAS YASPI Labuhan Deli Medan. The study is based on the observation that students struggle to understand spoken French, primarily due to a lack of authentic teaching materials. The research uses a quantitative method with a pre-test/post-test experimental design on a single group. The sample comprises 32 students. The data collection instruments are a pre-test and a post-test. The results show a significant increase in the average scores, from 40.63 in the pre-test to 82.66 in the post-test. The paired t-test yields a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a statistically significant difference between the results before and after the treatment. In addition, the average normalized gain (N-Gain) is 70%, which is classified as ‘effective’ according to Arikunto's criteria. Thus, we can conclude that using the Coffee Break French podcast is efficacious in improving students' listening comprehension of the Se Présenter material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan majas dalam komik "L'Aggent 212" karya Raoul Cauvin dan Daniel Kox. Analisis ini menggunakan teori Catherine Fromilhague (2010), dengan fokus pada majas-majas seperti Apokope, Prostesis, Sintaksis, Reduplikasi, Metafora, Sinekdoke, Hiperbola, dan Litotes. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kualitatif berdasarkan teori Miles dan Huberman (2014) . Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh seri komik "L'Agent 212", dengan sampel yang dipilih secara acak. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah analisis tekstual dan visual untuk mengukur kejadian dan fungsi majas-majas tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan majas konstruksi (36.77%) adalah yang paling dominan.

Abstract

Cette recherche évalue l'efficacité des podcasts Spotify pour la Réception Orale de niveau A2 sur le thème "Aller au Restaurant". Les podcasts offrent plusieurs avantages : ils permettent aux étudiants d'écouter des conversations réelles en restaurant, améliorant leurs compétences d'écoute de manière authentique. Leur format accessible permet un apprentissage indépendant et flexible, augmentant l'autonomie. Les variations d'intonation, de vocabulaire et d'expressions aident à comprendre le français familier. L'étude statistique montre une amélioration avec une moyenne post-test de 84,44 et une déviation standard de 9,98, indiquant des résultats stables. Les scores post-test se concentrent vers des résultats élevés. Les tests de normalité confirment que les données suivent une distribution normale. Le test t unilatéral confirme l'efficacité de l'intervention, avec une statistique t élevée, une valeur p très faible (<0,001) et un intervalle de confiance large, démontrant des changements significatifs.

Abstract

L'objectif de cette étude est d'analyser la signification sémiotique des panneaux de signalisation routière verticaux en France. Les panneaux de signalisation en France sont divisés en quatre types : verticaux, horizontaux, de signalisation et lumineux. Cette recherche se concentre sur les panneaux verticaux, subdivisés en quatre catégories : indication, danger, obligation et interdiction, en utilisant la méthode qualitative descriptive avec l'approche sémiotique de Charles Sanders Pierce. Les résultats montrent que les panneaux d'indication (12) sont carrés et bleus, signalant les actions à faire ou à éviter. Les panneaux de danger (27) sont triangulaires avec un bord rouge, incitant à la prudence. Les panneaux d'obligation (20) sont ronds et bleus, indiquant une consigne de sécurité obligatoire. Les panneaux d'interdiction (35) sont ronds avec un bord rouge, signalant une interdiction à respecter. Cette recherche aide à mieux comprendre le symbolisme et la signification des panneaux verticaux en France.
