Abstract

The purpose of this research is for describe educational value about folklore 'Tegasu Malei' butonese. south east sulawesi province. This research us a qualitative method. From the result of this research show us the value of education in a folklore 'Tegasu Malei' butonese, Including: a.) Moral value consisting of obedience value, honest value, humble value, ungodly value, bad value, selfish value, steal value. b.) religious value consisting of the prayer value and resignation value. c.) social value consisting of justice value, affection value, helping each other value, devotion value, and caring value also. d.) Heroic value consisting of self sacrifice value, unyielsing value, keeping promise value, and loyal friend value.

Abstract

Storytelling is one of the habits of ancient people in conveying a message or telling an activity that has happened. A person's storytelling skills are closely related to the speaking skills that the person has. There are two important elements that must be mastered by students in storytelling, namely linguistics and the elements of what is told. Accuracy of speech, grammar, vocabulary, fluency and smoothness, illustrate that students have good speaking skills. Departing from the phenomena in the field, researchers see that students' storytelling skills are still lacking. This study aims to explore the improvement of storytelling skills in students of early childhood education study programs using picture cards. The method used is a quantitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The results show a significant increase in storytelling skills using picture cards.

Abstract

English is an international language that dominates today's digital-era society. English needs to be applied early on to children because it can benefit them greatly. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to introduce English to children aged 5-6 years by using the storytelling method in class. The English focus on this PkM activity was one of the components of English, namely vocabulary. This Community Service is carried out by lecturers and students of the PGPAUD Study Program at the Muhammadiyah University of Buton at the Pembina State Kindergarten in Baubau City. Children of the Pembina State Kindergarten in Baubau City aged 5-6 years are the target of this PkM activity. The application of the storytelling method and coloring animal characters from the story were combined in this PkM activity to help children get to know English, especially increasing children's English vocabulary and making children enthusiastic about learning English. The results obtained from this PkM activity were by using the storytelling method and after coloring animal characters from the story, children's English vocabulary about animal names increased. The results were taken from questions and answers about the vocabulary of animal names in English to children. The storytelling method can improve children's English vocabulary and make children enthusiastic about getting to know and learn English.

Abstract

Gerakan kalego memiliki keterkaitan dengan kemampuan motorik kasar anak. Permainan tradisional kalego akan membantu stimulasi kemampuan motorik kasar anak menjadi lebih aktif.  ketika anak melakukan gerakan dalam permainan kalego pada saat itulah anak menggunakan otot besar seperti merapatkan kedua kaki untuk menjepit tempurung kelapa dalam posisi terbuka dengan seimbang dan terkoordinasi. Kemampuan motorik setiap anak berbeda tergantung dari tingkat kematangan. Unsur dasar permainan ini meliputi gerak, tenaga, keseimbangan, ruang dan waktu, unsur tersebut sangat mempengaruhi anak dalam mengekspresikan geraknya. Tujuan penulisan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan motorik kasar anak dalam permainan tradisional kalego. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan menggambarkan kondisi lapangan. Penelitian ini melibatkan 10 anak di TK Pembina Negeri Wakorumba Selatan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Analisis data penelitian yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kemampuan motorik kasar anak dapat distimulasi dengan bermain kalego. Anak-anak memiliki kemampuan untuk meloncat kearah depan dengan menggunakan kedua kakinya, mendorong dengan menggunakan tumit kaki kiri dan kanan, dan telah memiliki keseimbangan tubuh yang kuat, serta telah memiliki kordinasi mata dan kaki yang baik.

Abstract

The objective of this socialization is to provide an overview of the application of artificial intelligence in dealing with problems related to bullying. The positive effects of artificial intelligence on the life and growth of today's children will be widely utilized. At an early age, the protection of artificial intelligence is indispensable. It can play a role in preventing extreme behavior from developing in children. Post-bullying, the counseling program can be developed as part of parental counseling for their children's mental health. Additionally, an early warning function should be deployed, and permanent protection must be added to artificial intelligence. Among them, enhancing children's ability to judge, guide, and respond in events involving negative energy is essential. The results showed recent advancements in AI technology offer significant potential for more effective outcomes compared to traditional non-technological approaches in preventing and addressing children's bullying. These AI-driven solutions could potentially reduce the occurrence of bullying incidents, lessen their impact on children, and provide better protection for victims. Interactive video games that incorporate physical activities are now combining various elements such as muscle group engagement, body awareness, head-torso coordination, and social cooperation into comprehensive exercise packages. AI-enhanced video games can identify motivations behind bullying behavior in children by analyzing audio-visual data, assigning different levels of credibility to the information gathered during gameplay. These games are capable of providing immediate assistance when bullying attempts are detected, such as by playing calming music and animations, or by initiating mentoring sessions and discussions about appropriate behavior.

Abstract

The cheerful educational ball game can play an important role in improving the development of fine motor skills in early childhood.. This activity aims to describe the creation and implementation of the Bola Ceria game, where children shake a perforated board so that the ball can enter the hole. The method of the activity applied is qualitative descriptive using observation and documentation techniques. The findings show that this game successfully improves eye-hand coordination, focus, and cooperation among children. This activity was carried out the students of Muhammadiyah University of Buton as part of the community service program (PKM) at TK Negeri Abdi Praja. The children showed great enthusiasm and progress in social and cognitive skills. The play activities also strengthened character values such as cooperation, patience, and sportsmanship. Collaboration between teachers and students supported the formation of a fun learning atmosphere. This game has proven to be a meaningful and efficient active learning tool in education for early childhood

Abstract

Penelitian  ini  bertujuan untuk stimulasi  perkembangan  kognitif anak melalui media smart box usia 4-5 tahun. Latarbelakang penelitian ini adalah media yang digunakan guru dalam mengajar terkesen kurang menarik sehingga anak mengalami kesulitan dalam mengenal konsep bilangan, membilang banyak benda dan mengenal geometri, oleh karena itu media ini sangat membantu mengantisipasi hal demikian. Adapun Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif partisipatori yang mempelajari permasalahan yang ada serta ikut berpatisipasi atau berperan serta dalam kegiatan pembelajaran anak usia dini. informan dalam penelitian  ini  adalah 10 anak kelompok A di TK  Ceria  Lombe. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi data. Adapun Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan media Smart Box untuk menstimulasi perkembangan kognitif anak. Ada 5 kegitan yang dilakukan yaitu meronce berpola, puzzle, pengenalan pola AB-AB serta ABC-ABC, membilang lambang bilangan serta mengklasifikasi bentuk geometri. Dari lima kegiatan dapat diperoleh hasil yaitu 2 orang anak MB (mulai Berkembang), 5 anak yang BSH (berkembang sesuai harapan) dan 3 anak BSB anak (berkembang sangat baik) anak Kegiatan ini memiliki manfaat bagi anak diantaranya dapat menstimulasi perkembangan kognitif simbolik, menstimulasi perkembangan kognitif berfikir logis dan menstimulasi perkembangan kognitif pemecahan masalah bagi anak.

Abstract

Learning about natural disaster mitigation for children can develop children's preparedness in facing disasters. Natural disaster mitigation learning provides material about pre-disaster, during a disaster and post-disaster. In this research, researchers focus on learning about tsunami natural disaster mitigation. This research aims to find out how the tsunami natural disaster mitigation learning was carried out by Group B teachers at Harapan Jaya Tira Kindergarten, Sampolawa District, South Buton Regency. This research method uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation methods. The first data analysis step is data reduction, the second is presentation of research data grouped based on theme findings and the last is the conclusion. The findings of this research show that teachers in Group B at Harapan Jaya Tira Kindergarten, Sampolawa District, South Buton Regency: 1) learning about natural disaster mitigation is included in the theme of the universe and the sub-theme of natural disasters, 2) conveys pre-disaster information, 3) conveys information during disasters and simulations during disasters, 4) conveying post-disaster information and post-disaster simulations, 5) applying learning methods for mitigating tsunami natural disasters using simulation methods and storytelling methods, 6) using learning media for mitigating tsunami natural disasters using image media.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi dan pemahaman kepada masyarakat dan orang tua di desa winning kabupaten buton mengenai konsep PAUD dalam pendidikan serta penerapan ilmu pendidikan anak saat di luar sekolah/rumah. Kegiatan ini menggunakan metode sosialisasi dan diskusi grup serta melibatkan masyarakat setempat. Tahapan kegiatan pengabdian ini antara lain berlangsungnya diskusi antara pemateri dengan peserta/masyarakat yang hadir pada saat pengabdian berlangsung. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya respon dari masyarakat terkait dengan konsep pendidikan PAUD yang akan dilakukan oleh orang tua di luar lingkup sekolah, sehingga masyarakat mampu memahami dan mengimplementasikannya dalam kehidupan dan kegiatan sehari-hari anak dan orang tua. Disamping itu juga orang tua memperoleh informasi baru dan pengalaman terkait dengan bagaimana cara mendidik anak, cara mengasuh anak dengan baik dan benar yang tentunya akan berdampak terhadap perilaku kehidupan anak di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji bentuk interaksi anak usia dini suku Bajo dengan lingkungan maritim serta nilai-nilai pelestarian lingkungan yang ditanamkan oleh keluarga dan komunitas di Desa Terapung, Buton Tengah. Penelitian ini Menggunakan Jenis Penelitian deskriptif kualitataif Teknik pengumpulan data yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sementara teknik pengumpulan data redukasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu 14 informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Anak-anak suku Bajo telah memiliki hubungan yang erat, intensif, dan bermakna dengan laut sejak usia dini. Interaksi ini tumbuh secara alami melalui aktivitas keseharian seperti bermain di tepi laut, berenang, serta membantu orang tua dalam kegiatan melaut. Laut bukan hanya ruang bermain, tetapi juga menjadi ruang belajar yang membentuk kesadaran ekologis anak-anak secara kontekstual dan reflektif, Keluarga dan komunitas adat berperan penting dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai pelestarian lingkungan melalui keteladanan, cerita adat, dan aktivitas bersama. Nilai-nilai yang diwariskan meliputi penghormatan terhadap laut sebagai sumber kehidupan, tanggung jawab menjaga kebersihan lingkungan, larangan merusak ekosistem laut, semangat gotong royong, serta kepercayaan spiritual yang memperkuat identitas budaya maritim suku Bajo. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pendidikan ekologis anak usia dini dalam masyarakat Bajo berlangsung secara alami dalam konteks budaya, tanpa intervensi formal, namun sarat makna dan relevansi bagi pelestarian lingkungan maritim.
