Abstract

The world is facing a major public health crisis due to the Covid-19 disease. This virus spread rapidly throughout the world, including in Indonesia. In the current pandemic era, nurses must use Covid-19 personal protective equipment (PPE) in full and according to the standards for using Covid-19 personal protective equipment (PPE). This research is a correlational study with a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study is all nurses at the Kalideres Private Hospital who are currently treating COVID-19 patients, totaling 110 nurses. Sampling using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. The number of respondents was 87 nurses. The time of this research is September 2021. Data analysis with chi-square test. The results showed that the p-value was 0.001 less than 0.05. There is a relationship between the use of Covid-19 personal protective equipment (PPE) and nurses' work stress level. This research is expected to improve PPE's safety and security standards in working, especially in hospitals, and can prevent work stress on nurses. Abstrak: Dunia saat ini sedang menghadapi krisis kesehatan masyarakat yang besar akibat penyakit Covid-19. Virus ini menyebar dengan cepat ke seluruh dunia termasuk Indonesia.  Di era pandemi saat ini perawat diharuskan menggunakan alat pelindung diri (APD) Covid-19 secara lengkap dan sesuai standar pemakaian alat pelindung diri (APD) Covid-19. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh perawat yang ada di Rumah Sakit Swasta Kalideres yang saat ini menangani pasien COVID-19 yang berjumlah 110 perawat.Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik  Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Jumlah responden 87 perawat.  Waktu penelitian ini September 2021. Analisa data dengan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai p-value 0.001 kurang dari 0.05. Ada hubungan  penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD) Covid-19 dengan tingkat stress kerja perawat. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan standar keamanan dan keselamatan APD dalam bekerja khususnya di RS, dan dapat mencegah stress kerja pada perawat.

Abstract

Aims: Stroke is the second leading cause of death and disability globally, characterized by sudden neurological deficits. Pressure ulcers, caused by prolonged bed rest, can be managed non-pharmacologically through immobilization and routine tilting to prevent decubitus. To compare the effectiveness of the lateral position with an inclination of 30 and 90 degrees on the risk of decubitus in stroke patients, in this study the control group was tilted 90 degrees and the intervention group was tilted 30 degrees. Method: The sampling method is non-probability sampling with purposive sampling, a sample of 22 patients. Results: Data analysis using Reapeted Measurement Anova resulted in a value in the experimental group resulting in a sum of square value of 24.9, f value 14.3, P < 0.001, while in the control group a sum of square value of 76.5, f value 26.8, P < 0.001 was obtained, so it can be concluded that the lateral position with an inclination of 90 degrees and 30 degrees has the same effect, namely providing a significant influence on reducing the risk of decubitus. Conclusions: The study reveals that stroke patients aged 56-65 have a higher risk of pressure ulcers, with low-weight patients at higher risk. Early lateral position intervention and nutrition can significantly reduce the risk of decubitus, highlighting the importance of early wound healing.

Abstract

Era globalisasi yang dihadapi saat ini menawarkan suatu nilai yang baik, juga nilai yang tidak baik, seperti: konsumerisme, seks bebas, narkoba, pelampiasan nafsu manusiawi dengan melupakan hidup imani dan rohani. Fenomena ini menyebabkan kemerosotan karakter, sering terjadinya konflik antarsuku, agama, ras, kepentingan kelompok. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan datanya adalah wawancara terstruktur, observasi partisipasi, dan dokumentas. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: Pertama, pendidikan karakter berbasis tahfidz Al-Qur’an di PPTQ Babussalam merupakan tujuan utama dari program pesantren. Nilai karakter yang dikembangkan meliputi karakter ikhlas, disiplin, sederhana, mandiri, istiqamah, kerja keras, sabar, tekun, teliti, dan tanggung jawab. Kedua, pendidikan karakter berbasis tahfidz Al-Qur’an diimplementasikan dengan menggunakan dua metode, yaitu pembiasaan dan keteladanan dalam seluruh kegiatan yang ada di Pesantren. Ketiga, solusi dalam menangani kendala implementasi pendidikan karakter santri di Dusun Jabon Drenges Kertosono Nganjuk adalah (1) menyelenggarakan kegiatan yang variatif, (2) mengadakan kegiatan rihlah secara rutin, (3) memberikan metode atau tips manajemen diri dan waktu, (4) Muraja’ah, khotmil Quran, dan mengevaluasi hafalan santri, (5) mengikutkan santri pada MHQ, (6) Membantu Biaya Santri dari keluarga yang tidak mampu, (7) pembatasan pergaulan santri, (8) pembatasan penggunaan gadget oleh santri.

Abstract

Requiring children to fast is not immediate or spontaneous, but rather provides habituation training first, because fasting is not only fighting against lust, but you have to get used to waking up early in the morning for sahur when the child is sound asleep. The aim of community service activities is to increase knowledge about the health of fasting in the community. The month of Ramadan for children at the Shaleh Idris Children's Center Foundation. This activity will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023 for 60 minutes. There were 30 participants in the activity for orphaned children aged 8-13 years. The activity was carried out at the Bumi Agung Permai 2 Housing Complex, Serang City, Banten. The activity was carried out by providing equipment for 30 minutes, followed by discussion and questions and answers. At the end of the activity, quizzes and door prizes are given to participants. In this activity, a pre-test and post-test were carried out as an evaluation of the activity. The results of the pre-test and post-test show that there is a significant increase in knowledge in the good category by 90% and in the poor category by 10%. Knowledge about healthy fasting given during childhood will increase awareness and internalize it in them until they grow up, so they can behave in a healthy way

Abstract

Climate change has an impact on the health sector such as triggering diseases. Children are a vulnerable group to diseases caused by climate change. The foundation's education curriculum has not integrated the topic of climate change into learning activities. The attitude of maintaining health levels in the foundation is still limited. The purpose of the service is to improve knowledge and behavior in preventing diseases caused by climate change in the Bait Al-Qur'an Mulia Orphanage Foundation environment. Methods include health checks; education; Focus Group Discussions; and waste management practices. The results of the health checks of students showed an average blood pressure of 104/67 mmHg, weight of 40.97 kg, height of 147.16 cm, BMI of 18.73 kg/m2, and body temperature of 36.51°C. There was an increase in students' knowledge regarding climate change, diseases caused by climate change, and waste management skills. Suggestions are for students and foundation managers to implement sustainable waste management and be actively involved in efforts to prevent diseases caused by climate change.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Stigma terhadap HIV/AIDS masih tinggi, tidak mudah bagi masyarakat untuk menerima penderita HIV/AIDS hidup secara normal di tengah-tengah mereka. Ketakutan akan terjadinya penularan serta keyakinan bahwa penderita akan memberikan kesialan pada lingkungan mereka, merupakan tantangan dalam menangani dampak sosial HIV/AIDS. Anak-anak penderita HIV/AIDS tentu akan dirugikan manakala mereka ditolak di sekolah-sekolah karena ketakutan guru akan penularan virus, penolakan teman sebaya untuk bermain bersama. Namun apabila status HIV mereka tidak disampaikan, maka tidak menutup kemungkinan anak-anak lain di sekolah tersebut akan terancam tertular melalui transmisi darah walaupun hal tersebut tidak mudah. Sementara pada isu HIV/AIDS jelas, anak adalah korban karena mereka telah membawa virus ini sejak dilahirkan. Namun mereka tidak dapat menikmati perlakuan yang wajar dari lingkungannya karena menderita HIV positif. psikoedukasi adalah salah satu diantara beberapa bentuk intervensi yang dapat mereduksi stigma dalam jangka waktu menengah hingga jangka panjang. Sampel berjumlah 30 responden yang diambil dengan teknik total sampling, hasil rata -rata sebelum dilakukan intervensi skor stigma dengan skor 5,50, hasil rata rata sesudah intervensi pada skor 3,83. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan adanya pengaruh psikoedukasi terhadap stigma sosial pada anak dengan hiv aids (ADHA) dengan uji Paired T-Test dengan nilai p value 0,000 < dari α 0,05, dan ditemukan adanya penurunan rata – rata skala tingkat stigma dari sebelum dilakukan psikoedukasi 5,50 menjadi skala tingkat 3,83 setelah dilakukan psikoedukasi. Stigma yang di terima akan memperburuk kondisi anak dengan hiv/aids. Stigma sosial yang diterim dari luar antra lain: penolakan dari lingkungan rumah. Stigma sosial yang di dapat ini tentunya akan merubah perilaku dan berdampak pada psikologis dan ini akan mempengarhi kualitas hidup bagi anak dengan hiv/aids. Penanganan hiv/aids tidak hanya mengandalkan intervensi ARV namun harus bersifat holsitik, untuk melengkapi pengobatan semua unsur dilibatkan, aspek gizi, complementary, spritualitas, psikososial. Salah satu unsur adalah menghilangkan stigma sosial sehingga akan meningkatkan kualitas hidup. Kata Kunci: Anak Dengan HIV AIDS, Kualitas Hidup. Psikoedukasi, Stigma Sosial  ABSTRACT The stigma against HIV/AIDS is still high, it is not easy for society to accept HIV/AIDS sufferers living normally in their midst. Fear of transmission and the belief that sufferers will bring bad luck to their environment, are challenges in dealing with the social impact of HIV/AIDS. Children with HIV/AIDS will certainly be disadvantaged when they are rejected at schools because of teachers' fear of transmitting the virus, and their peers' refusal to play together. However, if their HIV status is not disclosed, it is possible that other children at the school will be at risk of being infected through blood transmission, although this is not easy. Meanwhile, on the issue of HIV/AIDS, it is clear that children are victims because they have carried this virus since birth. However, they cannot enjoy fair treatment from their environment because they are HIV positive. Psychoeducation is one of several forms of intervention that can reduce stigma in the medium to long term. A sample of 30 respondents was taken using the total sampling technique, the average result before the intervention was a stigma score of 5.50, the average result after the intervention was a score of 3.83. The results of statistical tests show the influence of psychoeducation on social stigma in children with HIV/AIDS (ADHA) with a Paired T-Test with a p value of 0.000 <α 0.05, and it was found that there was a decrease in the average scale of the level of stigma from before psychoeducation 5.50 to a scale level of 3.83 after psychoeducation. The stigma received will worsen the condition of children with HIV/AIDS. Social stigma received from outside includes: rejection from the home environment. This social stigma will certainly change behavior and have an impact on psychology and this will affect the quality of life for children with HIV/AIDS. Handling HIV/AIDS does not only rely on ARV intervention but must be holistic, to complete the treatment all elements are involved, nutritional aspects, complementary, spirituality, psychosocial. Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the expository learning strategies used in teaching PAI lessons at Vijaya Kusuma Junior High School in Bandung City. This study used descriptive qualitative research method. Data were obtained through classroom observations and interviews with PAI teachers at Vijaya Kusuma Junior High School. The teachers who participated in this study were selected based on purposive sampling method. The results of this study show that PAI teachers in Vijaya Kusuma Junior High School in Bandung City use various expository learning strategies that are diverse and in accordance with the needs of students. Some of the commonly used expository learning strategies are lectures, demonstrations, directed discussions, interactive lectures, individual assignments, formative evaluations, and final summaries. Teachers use lectures to deliver a direct explanation of the material, while demonstrations are used to clarify certain concepts or processes. Focused discussions are used to facilitate interaction between students and teachers, while interactive lectures encourage active student participation. Individual assignments are used to actively engage students in the understanding and application of the material, while formative evaluations assist teachers in checking students' understanding. Final summaries are used to clarify students' understanding and allow time for final questions. This research makes an important contribution to the understanding of the application of expository learning strategies in PAI learning at Vijaya Kusuma Junior High School in Bandung City. The results of this study can be a reference for PAI teachers to develop more innovative and effective learning approaches. It is recommended to conduct further research with a larger sample and involving various schools in different cities or regions in order to get a more comprehensive picture of expository learning strategies in PAI lessons.Keyword: Learning Strategy; Expository Strategy; Islamic Education Lessons.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of the market place activity learning model in improving PAI student learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 18 Bandung. This study aims to describe the market place activity learning model in PAI subjects. This research uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out by interview method with PAI teachers, observation and documentation conducted directly in the field to observe the level of learning activities. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 18 Bandung in Class VIII in PAI learning. The results of this study explain that the PAI learning design oriented to the 2013 curriculum is of the scientific approach type. The implementation of this learning consists of planning, implementation, and research stages. The supporting factors of this learning model are the principal's leadership, teachers' professionalism, students' activeness and parents' support. While the inhibiting factors are differences in student characteristics, feelings of doubt, shyness, requiring a long time, and students' less relevant catchiness to the material discussed. The advantages of this model can increase students' participation, activeness, independence, learning discipline and have a democratic attitude. The effectiveness of this learning model is well achieved in PAI learning class VIII SMP Negeri 18 Bandung.Keyword: Learning Model; Market Place Activity; PAI Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of blended learning model in Islamic religious education class 7 at SMP PGRI 7 Bandung City. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a field research approach. The results showed that Islamic religious education teachers at SMP PGRI 7 Bandung City applied a blended learning model in Islamic religious education lessons in grade 7 as a learning solution after the Covid-19 pandemic. This model combines online and offline learning, which is varied with appropriate learning strategies and methods. The implementation of this learning model provides flexibility for students to learn independently, increases interaction between students and teachers, and expands access to learning resources. However, this learning model also has some disadvantages, such as the lack of student engagement during online learning and the gap in access to technology. Nevertheless, the implementation of blended learning model can be an effective solution to improve the quality of Islamic religious education learning at junior high school level.Keyword: Learning Model; Blended Learning; Islamic Education Lessons.

Abstract

HIV/AIDS remains a global health challenge, particularly among individuals in their productive years, including factory workers. According to UNAIDS (2024), approximately 39 million people aged 15-49 live with HIV, directly affecting the labor sector (UNAIDS, 2024). In industrial settings, workers often face vulnerabilities such as long working hours, high mobility, varied education levels, and limited access to health information-factors that increase their risk of HIV infection. This study aims to explore the job satisfaction of workers living with HIV/AIDS within the industrial sector. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, the research was conducted with 10-15 workers at a textile factory in Tangerang, selected through purposive sampling. The study focuses on understanding the experiences and perceptions of these workers regarding job satisfaction and the influencing factors. Findings reveal that job satisfaction among workers living with HIV/AIDS is strongly influenced by social and structural factors, including social support and workplace policies. According to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, the need for safety and social acceptance is essential before individuals can achieve self-actualization in their work. Furthermore, Erving Goffman’s stigma theory explains how being HIV-positive can become a source of social pressure, hindering active participation in the workplace unless the work environment consciously addresses stigma and discrimination. The study recommends that companies implement more inclusive and proactive workplace policies. Suggested strategies include regular HIV/AIDS education, provision of Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT) services, enforcement of non-discrimination policies, formation of internal support groups. Collaborative efforts among companies, co-workers, and the individuals themselves are essential to creating a safe, inclusive, and productive work environment for all, including those living with HIV/AIDS.
