Abstract

The product of student learning outcomes in wood working practice courses currently does not have an instrument to determine its quality control. This is based on the discovery of several defects in the products of student learning outcomes in the Wood Work Practice course at the Department of Civil Engineering, Universitas Negeri Padang. This study aims to develop a quality control instrument on student learning products in wood working practice courses and find out how much validity the quality control instrument for student learning products in wood working practice courses. The research was conducted at the Department of Civil Engineering, Universitas Negeri Padang. The type of research used is Research and Development (research and development) or abbreviated as R & D. This is a type of research used to produce certain products, and test the effectiveness of the product. The research stages include (1) Decide, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Evaluate. The data collection technique used a questionnaire filled out by expert lecturers of the Wood Work Practice course. The resulting data is processed using the Microsoft Excel application to determine the validity of the product. The result of this research is a guidebook for filling in wooden furniture Quality Control instruments with a validity percentage of 87% so that the product is declared valid and suitable for use.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi penerapan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) pada mata kuliah Praktek Kerja Kayu di Workshop Departemen Teknik Sipil Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Padang menggunakan Model Evaluasi Provus. Model ini membandingkan kondisi aktual dengan standar ideal berdasarkan tiga indikator utama: proses kerja, peralatan kerja, dan lingkungan kerja. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan instrumen angket, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa penerapan K3 pada aspek proses kerja memperoleh capaian 90,57% (kategori sangat baik) dan aspek peralatan kerja memiliki gap 9,09% (kategori sangat baik). Namun, indikator lingkungan kerja hanya mencapai 68,42% dengan gap 31,58% (kategori tidak sesuai), dipengaruhi oleh pencahayaan yang kurang merata, ventilasi yang tidak optimal, dan tata letak ruang yang belum ideal. Analisis discrepancy menegaskan bahwa meskipun aspek prosedural dan peralatan telah memenuhi standar, fasilitas fisik memerlukan perbaikan. Disarankan peningkatan kelengkapan fasilitas, penataan lingkungan kerja, pelabelan peralatan, penyediaan APD dasar, serta pelaksanaan evaluasi rutin. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi dasar bagi pengembangan budaya kerja aman dan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran praktik di lingkungan pendidikan vokasional.

Abstract

Technopreneur, one part of the development of entrepreneurship (entrepreneur), provides a picture of entrepreneurship using technology-based innovation. The technopreneur concept is based on a technology base that is used as an entrepreneurial tool, for example the emergence of an online application business and a security system business. The purpose of this research is to conduct a descriptive study of entrepreneurship in students using technology (Technopreneurship) from all perspectives, including motivation, ownership, managerial, employment, and so on. technology as a basis for entrepreneurship. The results of the discussion found that the use of technology (Technopreneurship) in entrepreneurship can help and develop businesses in the form of making products and in marketing the products, so as to increase business and student income

Abstract

This study aims to determine how students' perceptions of the competence of prospective teachers in the PPLK program at SMK Negeri 1 Padang. Aspects that are observed in basic educational competencies are pedagogic, personality, professional, and social. This research is descriptive research. Observations were made for three years. The population in the study were all class X students of SMK Negeri 1 Padang. Sampling was done using random sampling technique using Slovin's formula. The findings of the study showed that the average competency of prospective teachers in the PPLK program at SMK Negeri 1 Padang for three years of observation was in a good category. The research findings recommend that there is a need for improvement in the pedagogical and social fields of prospective teachers. Teacher readiness to teach will affect the achievement of learning objectives. In addition, social competence is needed to establish communication and interaction between prospective teachers and teachers in schools and students. There needs to be an improvement in learning related to teaching preparation for prospective teachers specifically to emphasize pedagogic and social competencies

Abstract

The industrial revolution era has significantly impacted Indonesian education's development. Education is not only monotonous to study students but also provides opportunities to develop themselves according to their interests and talents. In this lecture, students' practicum products usually only become waste and are not yet suitable for use and even worth selling. The researcher plans to develop a Wood Construction Application learning with a product-based learning approach combined with SKKNI no. 61 of 2021, the wood furniture industry standard. This research is essential to find the most suitable strategy or practice in the Wood Construction Applications lecture. This study aims to develop learning based on the wood furniture industry with a product-based learning approach. The type of research used is research and development with the ADDIE model. The targeted outputs are in the form of books. The experimental and control classes' results of the pretest and post-test obtained an average result of pretest 20 and post-test of 93.31. In the control class, the average results of the pretest were 22.5, and the post-test was 73.38. While the results of the N-Gain value in the experimental and control classes, the experimental class obtained a value of 0.92 with a high category. In the control class, a score of 0.65 is included in the medium category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan model Work Based Learning (WBL) pada Program Keahlian Desain Pemodelan Informasi Bangunan (DPIB) di SMK Negeri 1 Padang. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari kesenjangan antara kompetensi lulusan SMK dengan kebutuhan industri konstruksi yang menuntut keterampilan praktis, kolaboratif, dan adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan responden terdiri dari siswa kelas XII TP.2024/2025, guru pembimbing, dan mitra industri. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner dan dokumentasi yang mencakup tiga aspek utama: Pembelajaran Kontekstual (kesiapan guru, kurikulum, dan fasilitas), Keterlibatan Dunia Industri (pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan keterlibatan industri), serta Dampak Work Based Learning (kompetensi siswa dan kepuasan mitra industri). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model WBL efektif meningkatkan kompetensi teknis dan nonteknis siswa serta memperkuat kemitraan antara sekolah dan dunia industri. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan kolaborasi kurikulum dan evaluasi berbasis industri untuk meningkatkan relevansi pendidikan vokasi terhadap kebutuhan dunia kerja.
