Abstract

The development of technological progress is currently very rapid because most human activities cannot be separated from information technology. Especially during the current Covid-19 pandemic, almost all community activities have shifted from offline to online, forcing people to be technology literate, one of which is the website. The increasing number of people's needs for information systems, and database processing, causing the creation of websites is increasingly needed. Therefore, the Faculty of Computer Science, University of Bhayangkara Jabodetabek supports SMK Global Persada Mandiri Bekasi to provide training to its students to increase competitiveness in the community and students are expected to have expertise in making website designs so that they can generate income by creating websites.

Abstract

One of the problems related to eating behavior is the lack of consumption of fruits and vegetables. Consumption of fruits and vegetables with a proportion of 1-2 servings/day was 67.16%, while fruit and vegetable consumption was 3-4 servings/day a week for the age group ≥5 years of 5.00%. This shows that the consumption of fruits and vegetables of the people of Hulu Sungai Utara Regency is still insufficient. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using nutritional discs in the nutrition education process on maternal knowledge and consumption patterns of fruits and vegetables for children aged 5-9 years in Mamar Village, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency.This type of research is an experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The study population was all mothers who had children aged 5-9 years in Mamar Village. Sampling using simple random sampling technique as many as 32 people. The grouping of sample members into two different treatment groups, namely the first treatment group using nutritional disc media and the second the control group using leaflet media. This study began with a pre-test for both groups, namely measuring the mother's level of knowledge using a questionnaire and assessing children's fruit and vegetable consumption patterns using the semi-quantitative FFQ form. Then carried out nutrition education. The following week a post-test was carried out. Data analysis used Paired Sample T-test and Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test.Based on the results of the study, it shows that there is an increase in the average knowledge of mothers and children's consumption patterns through nutrition discs media before and after nutrition education. There was an effect of nutrition education in the intervention group on maternal knowledge, indicating that the value of ρ was 0,000. And there was an effect of nutrition education in the intervention group on children's fruit and vegetable consumption patterns, indicating the value of ρ was 0.003.It is hoped that respondents can apply the knowledge that has been obtained after giving nutrition education using nutrition disc media.

Abstract

Students' basic movements begins to develop in the elementary school phase, which must be developed to support the learning of physical education. This dedication discusses several approaches that teachers can use to teach basic movement skills to their students, as well as long-term benefits. Action research methods can be done in a community of sports teachers who will form collaboration with other teachers to find problems and find solutions. Thus, through such methods, participants can receive and implement learning management in support of the identification of sustainable student talents. The results of dedication are: 1) The range of activities carried out, 2) Continuous support, 3) Evaluation and Feedback, 4) Use of Help Tools, 5) Programme Action to Solve Problems. Identifying challenges in the accompaniment process, the leader and the dedication team will identify problems or obstacles encountered by participants in learning basic movement skills. Once the identification is obtained the problem will be formulated in the form of learning reflection for the next meeting. The community service activities, in the implementation of the activities, use playing learning methods and use the learning media that have been modified to have a positive effect on physical, cognitive, and social development. Games and media modified can motivate and attract the interest of children to be willing to train their activity and muscle development, reduce saturation, and improve the child's skills in a fun way.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya orangtua merasa malu mempunyai anak berkebutuhan khusus, orangtua merasa masa depan anak berkebutuhan khusus tidak jelas, orangtua merasa anak berkebutuhan khusus menjadi beban dalam hidupnya, orangtua merasa anak berkebutuhan khusus menjadi titik masalah dalam keluarga, orangtua menjadi menyesal telah melahirkan anak berkebutuhan khusus, dan orangtua merasa tidak mampu merawat anak berkebutuhan khusus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: Self acceptance orangtua anak berkebutuhan khusus, Menghargai anak, Menilai anak sebagai diri yang unik, Mengenal kebutuhan-kebutuhan anak, Mencintai anak tanpa syarat anak berkebutuhan khusus di Yayasan Tiji Salsabila Padang.  Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode deskripstif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah tiga puluh Orangtua, teknik pengambilan sampel yang dipilih dengan total sampling, yaitu sebanyak tiga puluh Orangtua. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui angket dan diolah menggunakan skala interval.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data yang diperoleh hasil bahwa; profil self acceptence orangtua anak berkebutuhan khusus di Yayasan Tiji Salsabila Kota Padang secara umum berada pada kategori cukup baik. Selanjutnya dilihat dari indikator sebagai berikut:  Self acceptence orangtua anak berkebutuhan khusus menghargai anak pada kategori cukup baik.  Self acceptence orangtua anak berkebutuhan khusus indikator menilai anak sebagai diri yang unik pada kategori cukup baik. Self acceptence orangtua anak berkebutuhan khusus mengenal kebutuhan-kebutuhan anak pada kategori cukup baik,  Self acceptence orangtua anak berkebutuhan khusus mencintai anak tanpa syarat pada kategori baik. Hasil penelitian ini direkomendasikan kepada orangtua untuk dapat memberikan perhatian kepada anak yang memeiliki kebutuhan kusus agar anak lebih merasa dihargai dan lebih percaya diri dalam menjalankan aktivitasnya

Abstract

Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) yang dilaksanakan di Desa Margamulya RW 08, Bekasi, hadir sebagai salah satu bentuk kontribusi nyata dalam menjawab tantangan tersebut. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberdayakan masyarakat melalui kolaborasi dalam bidang pendidikan, dengan memanfaatkan peran mahasiswa sebagai agent of change dan tenaga pengajar tambahan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR), yang dikombinasikan dengan observasi lapangan mendalam untuk mengidentifikasi potensi dan masalah pendidikan setempat. Hasil observasi menunjukkan antusiasme belajar anak-anak dan dukungan masyarakat yang sangat tinggi, yang menjadi modal utama dalam pelaksanaan program. Melalui kegiatan baik formal seperti bimbingan belajar mata pelajaran sekolah, maupun non-formal seperti workshop keterampilan dan pendidikan karakter, mahasiswa KKN berhasil menciptakan ruang belajar yang interaktif dan menyenangkan. Kehadiran mahasiswa dan dosen pembimbing tidak hanya membantu meningkatkan pemahaman akademis peserta didik, tetapi juga membangkitkan motivasi dan cita-cita mereka. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kehadiran dan optimalisasi peran mahasiswa KKN sebagai tenaga pengajar pendamping berhasil memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan, memperkuat fondasi pendidikan, serta mendorong terciptanya ekosistem belajar yang lebih dinamis dan berkelanjutan di masyarakat. Program serupa direkomendasikan untuk diterapkan secara berkelanjutan guna mendukung pemerataan pendidikan

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 yang terjadi membuat kegiatan pembelajaran sangat bergantung pada pemanfaatan teknologi digital. Meskipun sudah memasuki pascapandemi, teknologi digital tetap terus digunakan, salah satunya adalah Youtube. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk memaparkan 1) pemanfaatan media Youtube dalam pembelajaran menyimak cerita pendek bermuatan pendidikan karakter, 2) kemampuan menyimak cerita pendek bermuatan pendidikan karakter menggunakan media Youtube, 3) faktor pendukung dan penghambat pembelajaran menyimak cerita pendek bermuatan pendidikan karakter menggunakan media Youtube. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Prosedur pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes menyimak cerita pendek. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap siswa kelas VI SDN Babelan Kota 06, Kabupaten Bekasi. Data dianalisis dengan cara mengumpulkan data, mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini pembelajaran menyimak cerita pendek bermuatan pendidikan karakter memanfaatkan media Youtube sudah berjalan dengan baik. Selain itu, kemampuan menyimak cerita pendek siswa terdiri dari 25% berada pada kategori sangat baik, 53,6% berapa pada kategori baik, 14,3% pada kategori cukup, dan 7,1% berada pada kategori kurang, dan tidak ada yang berada pada kategori sangat kurang. Terdapat faktor pendukung pemanfaatan media Youtube bermuatan pendidikan karakter berupa visualisasi Youtube yang menarik, sebagai sumber belajar yang dapat diakses dimana saja dan kapan saja, dan memberi variasi   dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran. Adapun faktor penghambat berupa minimnya ketersediaan jumlah LCD proyektor dan speaker, jangkauan wifi terbatas, dan kendala teknis berupa listrik mati.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the integration of civic and social values in Economics learning at senior high schools in Bukittinggi, West Sumatra. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, involving interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis with teachers, students, and principals from three selected high schools. The total number of participants in this study was 73 individuals selected purposively based on the research objectives and data requirements.  The results show that value integration occurs through three main stages: lesson planning, classroom implementation, and assessment. The dominant values integrated include honesty, responsibility, cooperation, social justice, and environmental awareness. Contextual and project-based learning approaches were found effective in instilling these values. The impact is evident in students’ improved integrity, discipline, empathy, and ethical decision-making in economic contexts. Although teachers face challenges such as limited time and lack of integrative guidelines between subjects, these are addressed through interdisciplinary collaboration and teacher working groups (MGMP). Overall, the integration of civic and social values in Economics learning significantly contributes to shaping students’ ethical character and responsibility as citizens.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve students’ learning outcomes and engagement through an innovative learning evaluation based on Deep Learning using the QuizWhizzer digital platform in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject. The initial problem identified was the low level of student participation in evaluation activities and the limited use of varied and engaging digital assessment media aligned with 21st-century learning demands. Integrating Deep Learning principles into the evaluation process was expected to help students develop deeper conceptual understanding, contextual reasoning, and reflective learning abilities. The study was conducted in two cycles following the Kemmis and McTaggart model, consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 30 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through observations, interviews, documentation, and learning outcome tests, and analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative approaches. The findings indicate a significant improvement in both student activity and learning outcomes. Mastery learning increased from 58% in the pre-cycle to 76% in Cycle I and reached 91% in Cycle II. Students also demonstrated higher motivation, stronger collaboration, and improved critical-thinking skills during the gamified evaluation process. The use of QuizWhizzer created an interactive, enjoyable, and competitive learning atmosphere that supported mindful, meaningful, and joyful learning. This study concludes that the Deep Learning–based evaluation using QuizWhizzer is an effective and innovative assessment strategy that enhances IPAS learning quality in elementary schools and can be recommended as an alternative digital evaluation method within the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims at describing the planning of the education system that will be adapted that it is necessary to make comparisons in order to improve the quality of the education system and contribute to the government in considering making policies to improve the Indonesian education system. Research methodology: The research design is used a case study to compare the education system between Indonesia and Finnish and literature review to collect relevant research. Results: The results of the study indicated that the Indonesian education curriculum is classified as low because it is based on five curriculum components, namely objectives, contents-materials, media, learning strategies, and learning process. Limitations: This study focuses on the five curriculum components in the Indonesian education system generally, so that there is a gap that can be filled by future researchers by discussing more deeply along with examples from other countries. Contribution: This research contributes to curriculum policyholders in the Indonesian education system because it can be a reference for improving the quality of the Indonesian education system.

Abstract

This study examines the public enthusiasm for Islamic education during the Abbasid Caliphate using a library research approach. It describes the manifestations of public enthusiasm, examines their contributions to the development of educational institutions and activities, and identifies factors, particularly the foundations of the Qur'an and Sunnah, that encouraged the growth of public attention to knowledge. The study focuses on forms of social participation, public support for educational institutions, and the development of a culture of literacy that emerged during that period. The research was conducted through the collection and analysis of relevant historical sources. The results show that educational progress during the Abbasid era was influenced not only by the policies of the caliphs but also by the active involvement of the public in the establishment of educational institutions, literacy activities, and the dissemination of knowledge. Stable political conditions, economic prosperity, multicultural interactions, and the strengthening of Islamic values related to the primacy of knowledge contributed to this dynamic.
