Abstract

Bullying in elementary schools remains a serious issue that affects students’ psychological well-being and academic performance. The 2025 KKN MBKM Program of Universitas Riau at SDN 011 Sungai Jalau was implemented as a preventive effort to create a safe, comfortable, and child-friendly school environment. The activities included observation, questionnaire distribution, data analysis, socialization for teachers, and the provision of a complaint box as a safe reporting medium for students. Based on the survey results, 83.9% of students stated that they had experienced or witnessed bullying, while 16.1% stated that they had not, indicating that bullying practices are still quite high in the school environment. After the socialization and introduction of the complaint box, the school community showed increased awareness and proactive responses in handling student reports. Overall, this program not only improved understanding of bullying prevention but also fostered a caring culture, mutual respect, and early prevention to support the realization of a child-friendly school.

Abstract

The development of Islamic banking in Indonesia has led to various sharia-based financial products, one of which is the Hajj bailout fund. This product serves as a solution for Muslims who wish to perform the pilgrimage but are constrained by the initial deposit requirement. This study aims to analyze the Hajj bailout contract from a fiqh muamalah perspective, reviewing its compliance with sharia principles and DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 29/DSN-MUI/VI/2002. The method used is a literature study by analyzing academic sources from journals, books, and related fatwas. The results show that the qardh wal ijarah contract is permissible as long as no additional benefits resembling riba are included and administrative fees only cover real costs. From the perspective of maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah, the Hajj bailout provides benefits by facilitating Muslims to perform the fifth pillar of Islam, but it must be maintained to avoid potential harm from excessive debt burdensy. Abstract

Irritant contact dermatitis is a common condition among farmers, but its underlying causes remain poorly understood. This study aimed to identify factors associated with irritant contact dermatitis among horticulture farmers in Semarang District, Indonesia. A cross-sectional survey was conducted among 427 farmers using a validated, reliable structured questionnaire. The results indicated complaints of dermatitis related to contact with irritants. Data were analyzed using the Chi-square test and logistic regression. Analysis revealed that sex, personal hygiene habits, education level, and the number of pesticide types used were significantly associated with irritant contact dermatitis. Female farmers were less likely to develop irritant contact dermatitis. Conversely, farmers with poor personal hygiene habits or lower levels of education were more likely to develop the condition. Farmers who used fewer types of pesticides had a lower risk of irritant contact dermatitis than those who used a greater variety. In conclusion, irritant contact dermatitis among farmers is influenced by both work-related exposures and hygiene practices. Improving personal hygiene habits and limiting the use of multiple pesticide types may help prevent irritant contact dermatitis under typical farming conditions.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the challenges faced in literacy levels in Indonesia. According to various international reports, Indonesia’s student literacy index is still relatively low compared to other countries. The low interest in reading and critical understanding hinders the learning process in schools and negatively affects students' academic performance. The aim of this study is to explore the implementation of building a literacy culture in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) lessons through the School Literacy Movement (GLS) in grade V at SDNU Kota Metro, Lampung. Using a qualitative approach, the study involves the principal and grade V teachers at SDNU Kota Metro, Lampung as informants. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and document studies, while data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of data collection, presentation, and verification stages. The results indicate that the implementation of the literacy culture in PAI lessons through the School Literacy Movement at SDNU Kota Metro, Lampung has been carried out in accordance with the government program, covering several stages, namely habituation, development, and learning.
