Abstract

In addition to provision of art, science and technology, schools shouldalso develop aspects of moral and religious values to establish theattitude and behavior of the nation's generation of noble character.Technically, the strategy of the student’s attitude and the moralbehavior development in learning activities at school can at least bepursued through an integration of four alternatives strategies. The firststrategy is to integrate the curriculum content of the moral lesson thathas been formulated into all relevant subjects, especially the subjectsof religion, citizenship, and language (both Indonesian and regionallanguages). The second strategy is to integrate moral learning intoeveryday activities at school. The third strategy is to integrate morallearning into the programmed or planned activities. And the fourthstrategy is to build communication and cooperation between schoolsand parents (of the students).

Abstract

Values are what people believe to be right and are standardv tojudge something to be good, right, valuable and precious. Valuesdrive people 's live, give meanings to live and legalize people'sbehaviors. Therefore, individual's values can have effects onsociety and national characteristics.Education seems to fail to educate universal values such ashonesty, patience, modesty and trustworthy. This is becauseeducational process that occurred lately is so merely mechanisticlearning that negelected the essence of education as wizys tointernalize universal values in life.There are some learning techniques for teachers to use ineducating value to their students, such as indoctrination technique,moral reasoning technique, consequence forecasting technique,clnrification technique and internalization technique. Theapproaches that teacher can use to educate value through learningprocess al school are experience approach, making it accustomed,emotional, rational, functional and role model approach.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menghasilkan lembar kerja siswa tematik integratif berbasis Problem Based Learning yang layak untuk meningkatkan karakter tanggung jawab siswa kelas IV SD, dan menguji keefektifannya. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain RD Borg dan Gall. Penelitian dilakukan di SDN Semanu III, SDN Karangrejek II, dan SDN Gombang II, Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan pedoman wawancara, lembar observasi, lembar validasi ahli, angket respon guru, skala respon siswa, dan skala karakter tanggung jawab. Keefektifan produk diuji melalui quasi experiment. Data dianalisis secara despkriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif melalui uji beda dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini berupa lembar kerja siswa yang layak digunakan berdasarkan penilaian ahli media dan ahli materi dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Produk yang dikembangkan efektif meningkatkan karakter tanggung jawab siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan uji beda postskala kelas eksperimen 1 dengan kelas kontrol perbedaan reratanya signifikan pada nilai t hitung 2,119 dan two-tails significance pada 0,040. Pada uji beda post skala kelas eksperimen 2 dengan kelas kontrol, perbedaan reratanya signifikan pada nilai t hitung 2,164 dan two-tails significance pada 0,036 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05.Kata kunci: lembar kerja siswa tematik integratif, problem based learning, karakter tanggung jawab STUDENT WORK SHEET BASED ON THE PROBLEM BASED LEARNING TO IMPROVE RESPONSIBILITY STUDENTS OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOLAbstractThis study aimed at producing a suitable thematic-integrative student work sheet based on the Problem Based Learning to improve the critical thinking ability and responsibility character of grade IV students of SD, and testing the effectiveness of student work sheet. This study used the RD design of Borg and Gall. The study was conducted at SDN Semanu III, SDN Karangrejek II, and SDN Gombang II, Gunungkidul Regency. The instrument data were collected using an interview guide, observation sheet, validation expert sheet, questionnaires of teachers responses, scale of students responses, and scale of responsibility character. The product effectiveness was tested by using a quasi experiment. The data were analyzed descriptive-qualitatively and quantitatively through  t  test  with the a significance level of 0,05. This research produced a student work sheet suitable for use based on assessment by media and subject matter experts with “very good” category. The product could improve the responsibility character of students. The mean score difference was significant at 2.119 t test value  with the two-tails significance standing at 0.040 for t test of the experimental group 1 with the control group.  On the t test of the experimental group 2 with the control group, the mean score difference was significant at 2.164 t test value  with the two-tails significance standing at 0.036 with the a significance level of 0.05.Keywords: Thematic-integrative student work sheet, Problem Based Learning, responsibility character

Abstract

This study was aimed at describing the problems in the application of Arabic as the language of daily communication, the level of active Arabic language skills, and the level of need for multimedia learning development to improve the students' Arabic speaking ability. The sample of the study was the principal and students of grades VII to grade IX at an Islamic Boarding School in Yogyakarta. The sample was chosen by using random sampling method. The data collection was carried out by interviewing the principals and conducting open questionnaires aimed at the students. The data then were analyzed using qualitative descriptive method. The results show that there had been a decrease in the application of Arabic for everyday conversation due to problems experienced by students such as difficulty in Arabic language, lack of motivation among students, lack of school support for the application of Arabic, and the media used were not feasible. The level of need for the development of Arabic learning multimedia in order to practice the ability to speak Arabic for students is very high with a percentage of 100%.PENGEMBANGAN MULTIMEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBAHASA ARABAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan masalah-masalah dalam penerapan bahasa Arab sebagai bahasa komunikasi sehari-hari, tingkat kemampuan berbahasa Arab aktif, dan tingkat kebutuhan pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran untuk melatih kemampuan berbicara bahasa Arab bagi siswa. Sampel penelitian adalah kepala sekolah dan siswa kelas VII sampai kelas IX SMP Islamic Boarding School Bina Umat Yogyakarta yang dipilih menggunakan metode random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara yang ditujukan kepada kepala sekolah dan angket terbuka yang ditujukan kepada siswa. Data dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa telah terjadi penurunan dalam penerapan bahasa Arab untuk percakapan sehari-hari disebabkan oleh masalah-masalah yang dialami oleh siswa seperti susahnya materi bahasa Arab, kurangnya motivasi di kalangan siswa, kurangnya dukungan pihak sekolah terhadap penerapan bahasa Arab, dan media yang digunakan juga belum mampu melatih kemampuan berbicara bahasa Arab. Tingkat kebutuhan pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran bahasa Arab untuk melatih kemampuan berbicara bahasa Arab bagi siswa sangat tinggi dengan persentase 100%..

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk multimedia interaktif pembelajaran kimia pada materi hidrokarbon untuk siswa SMA kelas XI, dan mengungkapkan kelayakan produk multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan (RD), yang terdiri atas tiga tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, desain, dan pengembangan. Tahap perencanaan meliputi identifikasi ruang lingkup materi, karakter siswa, pengumpulan sumber, diskusi ide awal, dan penetapan rencana tampilan. Tahap desain meliputi analisis instruksional serta pembuatan flowchart dan storyboard. Tahap pengembangan meliputi penyiapan teks, grafik, audio, dan video, penggabungan bagian, pembuatan materi pendukung, uji alfa, revisi, uji beta, serta validasi program. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) produk yang dihasilkan adalah multimedia interaktif pembelajaran kimia pada materi hidrokarbon yang terdiri dari kompetensi, materi ajar, evaluasi, dan game; dan (2) produk yang  dikembangkan  layak  digunakan  sebagai media pembelajaran kimia materi hidrokarbon berdasarkan validasi ahli media dengan hasil penilaian baik, validasi ahli materi dengan hasil penilaian sangat baik, penilaian oleh siswa dengan hasil penilaian sangat baik, serta produk yang dikembangkan efektif untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar kimia siswa pada materi hidrokarbon.Kata Kunci:  pengembangan multimedia, multimedia interaktif, pembelajaran kimia, hidrokarbon  DEVELOPING CHEMISTRY TEACHING INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA ON HYDROCARBON COURSE FOR CLASS XI STUDENTS OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLAbstractThis research aims to develop chemistry teaching interactive multimedia on hydrocarbon course for class XI students of senior high school, and reveal the appropriateness of the developed chemistry teaching interactive multimedia. This study uses research and development (R D), which consists of three phases, including planning, design, and development. The planning stage includes the identification of the scope of the material, the student's character, the collection of sources, discussion of the initial idea, and the determination of a display. Instructional design phase includes the analysis and the making flowchart and storyboards. The development phase includes the preparation of text, graphics, audio, and video, the incorporation of parts, manufacturing support materials, alpha testing, revision, beta testing, and validation programs. The results are as follows. (1) The developed product is chemistry teaching interactive multimedia on hydrocarbon course consisting of competence, teaching material, evaluation, and game. (2) The developed product is appropriate to use as chemistry teaching media on hydrocarbon course, based on the media experts’ validation shows a good result, the subject matter experts validation shows a very good result, the  students’ evaluation shows a very good result, and the developed product is effective to increase students’ chemistry learning achievement on hydrocarbon course.Keywords: multimedia development, interactive multimedia, teaching chemistry, hydrocarbon

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan: (1) menghasilkan produk buku digital interaktif matematika materi geometri untuk siswa kelas 4, (2) mengetahui kelayakan produk buku digital interaktif matematika materi geometri untuk siswa kelas 4, dan (3) mengetahui kebermanfaatan buku digital interaktif matematika materi geometri dilihat dari respon siswa dan ditinjau dari adanya peningkatan hasil belajar. Metode penelitian ini mengacu pada model pengembangan Allesi Trollip, yang dikelompokkan atas tiga prosedur pengembangan, yakni: (a) planning, (b) design, dan (c) development yang dilengkapi dengan komponen atribut mencakup standards, ongoing evaluation, dan project management. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk buku digital interaktif berupa Compact Disk (CD). Hasil skor penilaian kelayakan produk melalui uji alpha pada ahli materi sebesar 3,65 (sangat layak) dan pada ahli media sebesar 3,78 (sangat layak). Selanjutnya pada uji beta diperoleh skor hasil penilaian dengan konversi skala 2 sebesar 1,84 (sangat layak). Penilaian keefektifan produk pada aspek pembelajaran didukung oleh perolehan rerata skor hasil belajar siswa sebesar 82,08.Kata Kunci: Buku digital interaktif, geometri, siswa kelas 4 SDDevelopment of interactive mathematics digital book on geometry subjectAbstractThis developmental research aims to: (1) develop an interactive digital book designed for Geometry course for grade 4, (2) find out the feasibility of interactive digital book products, and (3) find out the effectiveness product to improve outcomes cognitive achievement of students. This research refers to the developmental phases developed by Alessi Trollip. The developmental design was grouped into three development procedures, consisting of (a) planning, (b) design, and (c) development that was equipped with attributes component including standards, ongoing evaluation, and project management. This research has produced an interactive digital book in the form of Compact Disk (CD). The result of the feasibility assessment scores of products through alpha testing on material experts are 3.65 (very decent), and the media experts are 3.78 (very decent). Later, the beta test in the large group with scale two conversions is 1.84 (very decent). The assessment of the feasibility of interactive digital book products in the learning aspect is supported by learning outcomes mean score of students at 82.08.Keywords: Interactive digital book, geometry, a 4th-grade student

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian antara pelaksanaan pembelajaran Program Studi (Prodi) DKV di ASRD MSD Yogyakarta dengan standar atau kriteria yang telah dirumuskan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi dengan menggunakan model evaluasi kesenjangan. Subjek atau responden adalah Ketua Program Studi, dosen dan mahasiswa Prodi DKV MSD Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menempuh 5 tahap, yaitu: penyusunan desain, penetapan kelengkapan program, pengumpulkan data, pengukuran tujuan atau analisis data, dan perbandingan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dianalisis menggunakan model analisis interaktif dari Miles dan Huberman. Data kuesioner dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif dengan skala 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada Prodi DKV MSD Yogyakarta belum sesuai dengan Permendikbud No. 49 Tahun 2014. Hasil penilaian mahasiswa menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran di Prodi DKV MSD berada pada kategori baik dengan nilai 3,20. Pembelajaran di Prodi DKV MSD Yogyakarta perlu dilaksanakan sesuai dengan Permendikbud No. 49 Tahun 2014. Kata Kunci: pelaksanaan pembelajaran, perencanaan pembelajaranTHE EVALUATION OF INSTRUCTIONAL IMPLEMENTATION OF VISUAL COMMUNICATION DESIGN STUDY PROGRAM IN MSD YOGYAKARTA Abstract This research aims to determine the suitability of the instructional implementation in Visual Communication Design (VCD) Study Program of MSD Yogyakarta Design and Art Academy with standard or criteria which have been formulated. This research was an evaluation research study that refers to the discrepancy evaluation model. The subjects consisted of the head of study program, lecturers and students of VCD study program MSD Yogyakarta. The research was conducted in five stages: design preparation, determination of the program’s completeness, data collection, purpose measurement or data analysis, and comparison. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document searches, and were analyzed using an interactive analysis model proposed by Miles and Huberman. The questionnaire data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis in the scale 4. The result of the study shows that instructional implementation in Visual Communication Design Study Program of MSD Yogyakarta is not suitable to the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 49, 2014. The result of student assessment indicates that the instructional implementation in VCD MSD Yogyakarta is categorized good with the value of 3.20. The instructional implementation in Visual Communication Design Study Program of MSD Yogyakarta needs to be adjusted with the National Standards for Higher Education the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 49, 2014 for the instructional implementation can be presented.
