Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of transformational leadership on teacher compensation and performance in Private Schools in Tambora District, West Jakarta. Compensation in this study includes financial rewards, such as salaries and benefits, as well as non-financial, such as work facilities, training, and appreciation. The correlational research method is used in a quantitative approach, with the location of the research in private schools in the sub-district. The results of the double correlation coefficient significance test showed significant differences in the regression model that explained the variability of teacher performance (F = 8.067, p = .001). In particular, Transformational Compensation and Leadership, as predictors, make a significant contribution in explaining variations in teacher performance. The Coefficients analysis highlights the positive and significant impact of Transformational Leadership (p = .008) and Compensation (p = .022) on teacher performance. These findings support the hypothesis that improved Transformational Leadership and Compensation can improve teacher performance. The implications of this study show the importance of implementing transformational leadership and an adequate compensation system in improving the quality of education in private schools in Tambora District, West Jakarta. Transformational leadership can drive teacher and staff motivation, innovation, and performance, while a decent compensation system can increase job motivation and retain qualified educators. Abstract

Pendidikan kejuruan diyakini memiliki konstribusi yang besar bagi perkembangan masyarakat dan peningkatan ekonomi suatu negara. Daya saing negara bergantung banyak pada tenaga kerja yang memilik pengetahuan dan keterampilan, karena mereka akan meningkatkan efisiensi dan nilai tambah produksi. Pendidikan dan latihan kejuruan pada hakekat adalah sebagai tempat untuk menyiapkan tenaga kerja berpengetahuan, berketerampilan, dan berkepribadian bagi memenuhi harapan dunia kerja dan industri. Tetapi kondisi riil menunjukkan banyak lulusan pendidikan kejuruan yang tidak memperoleh kerja, bahkan mereka yang telah bekerjapun menghadapi masalah keterampilan. Bekal pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang mereka miliki tidak cukup untuk dapat sustain dalam lingkungan kerja. Hal itu salah satunya disebabkan karena tenaga kerja tidak memiliki employability skills yang cukup seperti permintaan dunia kerja. Untuk itu, lembaga pendidikan kejuruan diharapkan mengantisipasi dengan tepat perkembangan yang terjadi di dunia kerja melalui berbagai pendekatan pembelajaran agar lebih fleksibel untuk merespon permintaan dunia kerja yang berubah dengan cepat. RE-ORIENTATION OF SKILLS OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION GRADUATESAbstractSkills Re-orientation for Vocational School Graduates. It is believed that vocational education makes particular contribution on Indonesian concerning economics development. A competitiveness of the nation depends on quality of human resource in term of knowledge, skills, attitude. Vocational education and training basically is provided for preparing youth to have knowledge, skills, and characteristics to meet the requirements of work place. However, in fact Vocational High School leavers are unemployed, and the employed even face skills problems. Their knowledges, skills, and attitudes are under standard of work place requirements and incapable of sustaining hie/her current position in the work place. One of the reasons is because they don't have enough employability skills to fulfil work place requirements. Therefore, vocational training institutions are required to anticipate firmly to developing the work place by employing learning strategies in order to have flexibilty due to a rapid changing of work place requirements.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the world's perception of Diploma 3 graduates regarding work skills. The research used a questionnaire survey method on Diploma 3 graduates who had worked for 2-5 years. Measurement of work aspects includes individual qualities, basic skills, interpersonal skills, thinking skills, resource management, systems and technology, and information skills. The instrument's validity in each aspect ranges from 0.416 to 0.683, with a reliability of 0.882. The research technique used simple random sampling with 109 respondents in this study. The results of the study stated that the self-perception of graduates are (1) an individual quality score of 85.5 with a very high interpretation; (2) basic skills get a score of 81.8 with a high interpretation; (3) an interpersonal score of 84.8 with a very high interpretation; (4) thinking skills get a score of 83.1 with a very high interpretation; (5) resource management obtained a score of 88.6 with a very high interpretation; (6) systems and technology got a score of 92.4 with a very high interpretation, and (7) information skills got a score of 85.1 with a very high interpretation. Thus, the average worldwide employment of Diploma 3 graduates is 85.9, with a high interpretation. This finding implies that the higher graduates' employability skills, the higher their self-perception at work.

Abstract

The 2003 National Education System Law outlines the purpose of national education, emphasizing vocational education as secondary education aimed at preparing students for specific fields of work. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has created challenges in achieving these goals, prompting a need for evaluation and solutions. To address this, a program evaluation is proposed, focusing on analyzing the Industrial Work Program (PKL) in terms of design, implementation, process, and outcomes. The evaluation aims to assess the alignment between program objectives and actual results, considering factors such as program design, HR requirements, implementation scope, street vendors' involvement, and outcomes for schools, students, and industry partners. The Discrepancy Evaluation Model (DEM) by Malcom Provus is chosen for its ability to compare expectations with reality. The evaluation will employ both quantitative and qualitative methods, utilizing questionnaires, observations, interviews, and document analysis. Qualitative data analysis involves activities such as data reduction, display, validation (triangulation), and conclusion drawing, while quantitative analysis utilizes descriptive percentage analysis. The research seeks to generate recommendations that improve education quality and program evaluation practices, particularly in ICT-based competency development during the pandemic transition. By providing a detailed evaluation, the study aims to offer actionable insights for enhancing the PKL program's effectiveness and contributing to educational advancement.

Abstract

The article presents a literature study synthesizing global perspectives and practices of artificial intelligence (AI) integration in vocational education. It systematically searches Scopus, ERIC, and related databases for publications from 2015 to 2025, yielding 76 peer-reviewed articles. The study employs thematic coding to analyze conceptual foundations, pedagogical approaches, and institutional frameworks. Findings reveal three primary perspectives on AI's role: pedagogical, technological, and organizational. Documented practices such as AI-powered simulators, adaptive learning platforms, and predictive assessment tools. Results demonstrate that AI integration enhances skill acquisition, learner engagement, and personalized instruction while necessitating robust infrastructure and faculty development. The article contributes to vocational education scholarship by mapping current research trends, identifying gaps, and offering actionable recommendations for educators, curriculum designers, and policymakers

Abstract

Abstrak: Efektivitas Program Pelatihan Kecakapan Hidup (Life Skill) Bidang Tata Rias Pengantin pada Remaja Putus Sekolah di Lembaga Kursus dan Pelatihan (LKP) Kota Cimahi Provinsi Jawa Barat, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) bagaimana perencanaan (input); 2) bagaimana pelaksanaan (process); 3) bagaimana pencapaian hasil (output); 4) apakah dampak (outcome) dari pelaksanaan program pelatihan kecakapan hidup (life skill) bidang tata rias pengantin pada remaja putus sekolah Lembaga Kursus dan Pelatihan kota Cimahi Provinsi Jawa Barat. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metoda deskriptif. Perencanaan (input) program pelatihan kecakapan hidup (life skill) bidang tata rias pengantin pada remaja putus sekolah di Lembaga Kursus dan Pelatihan kota Cimahi Provinsi Jawa Barat sudah cukup baik. Ini dapat dilihat dari identifikasi kebutuhan belajar yang sudah sesuai untuk peserta pelatihan, rekrutmen peserta pelatihan sudah sesuai dengan syarat dan ketentuan yang berlaku di lembaga, sarana dan prasarana belajar yang cukup lengkap dan memadai. Serta kesesuaian tujuan program pelatihan yang ingin dicapai. Ini dapat dilihat melalui evaluasi akhir yaitu uji kompetensi untuk menghasilkan lulusan peserta pelatihan yang berkompeten, terpercaya dan handal di bidang tata rias pengantin. Pelaksanaan (process) program pelatihan sudah cukup baik. Ini dapat dilihat dari proses pelatihan keterampilan tata rias wajah pengantin, menata rambut/sanggul pengantin, menata busana pengantin, dan menata asesoris pengantin. Hasil (Output) program pelatihan sudah efektif. Ini dapat dilihat dari pencapaian hasil uji kompetensi program pelatihan yang berkaitan dengan peningkatan pengetahuan (kognitif), sikap (afektif) dan keterampilan (psikomotorik) yang diperoleh peserta setelah selesai mengikuti program pelatihan. Dampak (Outcome) program pelatihan sudah efektif. Ini dapat dilihat dari dampak yang dirasakan oleh alumni peserta pelatihan yakni terhadap meningkatnya taraf hidup, melalui peningkatan pendapatan. Serta perubahan sikap kewirausahaan pada alumni peserta pelatihan. Secara umum Lembaga Kursus dan Pelatihan di kota Cimahi Provinsi Jawa Barat sudah berhasil mengimplemantasikan program pelatihan kecakapan hidup (life skill) bidang tata rias pengantin pada remaja putus sekolah.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penilaian Infrastruktur Teknologi Parkir Meter Elektronik Dengan Metode T-H-I-O (Technoware, Humanware, Infoware, Orgaware) Studi Kasus di Kota Bekasi. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah Pertama, untuk melakukan identifikasi dan evaluasi pelaksanaan parkir meter elektronik dengan cara melakukan penilaian tingkat teknologi pada perangkat parkir meter elektronik. Kedua, ingin mengetahui kekuatan dan kelemahan teknologi sehingga dapat mengetahui prioritas pengembangan teknologi mana yang harus terlebih dahulu diterapkan. Ketiga, memberikan usulan rekomendasi sebagai proses peningkatan kualitas teknologi parkir meter elektronik dalam upaya mewujudkan Bekasi Smart City. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa terkait implementasi parkir meter elektronik di kota Bekasi. Tingkat teknologi parkir meter elektronik dapat ditentukan berdasarkan nilai TCC. (Technology Contribution Coefficient) . TCC merupakan metode Technometric atau T-H-I-O. Berdasar hasil penilaian, diketahui bahwa komponen parkir meter elektronik ini memiliki kontribusi teknologi tertinggi adalah Technoware, disusul Humanware, Orgaware, dan Infoware sehingga didapat nilai Technology Contribution Coefficient (TCC) sebesar 0,507, berada di interval 0,5 < TCC 0.7 sehingga diklasifikasikan “Baik” dengan tingkat teknologi adalah semi modern.
