Abstract

Kata kunci: kapabilitas proses, fishbone diagram, FMEAAbstract[Process Capability Analysis of Shrimp Feed Production Using Statistical Process Control at PT CPB] Indonesia as a maritime country has great potential of aquaculture-based economy, including shrimp farming sector, which will be valued Rp 90.3 T by 2024. Synergy of various parties are needed, starting from the availability of ponds to feed which is also produced by PT CPB. Based on data from 2020-2021, it was found that defect in moisture level was the highest compared to other defects in shrimp feed production. Defect of moisture level has a negative impact on the company's performance, because excessive moisture can affect the quality and durability of the product, while insufficient moisture affects the production output with the specified raw material formula. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the quality of shrimp feed product based on moisture parameter and identify the potential causes, by analyzing samples of moisture level measurement of 3 types of shrimp feed produced by PT CPB using statistical process control method. Process capability analysis shows that the process is not yet capable to produce output that meet the specifications. More in-depth analysis of the potential causes was carried out using a fishbone diagram and FMEA. Recommendations to the company are to add automatic settings to the water supply line, improve machine preventive maintenance as well as adjust work methods and improve coordination. Keywords: process capability, fishbone diagram, FMEA

Abstract

Outcome-based education (OBE) means clearly focusing and organizing everything in an educational system around what is essential for all students to be able to do successfully at the end of their learning experiences. This means starting with a clear picture of what is important for students to be able to do, then organizing curriculum, instruction, and assessment to make sure this learning ultimately happens. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the perceptions of lecturers and students regarding the implementation of OBE in the Faculty of Engineering. There are six variables used in this study, i.e., statement of student’s achievement, relevance of student’s achievements, subject’s preparation, teaching and learning process, supporting facilities, and evaluation. The indicators are generated according to the literature review and interview with experts, resulting 51 indicators. There are 103 students and 79 lecturers to be selected as the respondents. The respondents are asked about their opinions regarding the OBE implementation according to those indicators. Results show that from the perspective of lecturers, OBE is very well implemented regarding the variables of statement of student’s achievement, relevance of student’s achievements, and teaching and learning process; while the others are well implemented. However, from the perspective of students, OBE is fairly implemented regarding the variable of supporting facilities; while the others are well implemented.

Abstract

Currently, environmental issues are a widely discussed topic in the industrial world, particularly within the supply chain process. This is closely linked to the escalating environmental degradation resulting from industrial activities. Today, a healthy environment is considered an invaluable asset, and the responsibility for its preservation lies with all of us [1]. Green supply chain management (GSCM) is an approach adopted by companies to integrate environmentally friendly practices into their supply chains [2]. GSCM aims to mitigate the negative environmental impact of business operations while maintaining operational efficiency and sustainability. One crucial aspect of GSCM is the adoption of green packaging. Green packaging not only involves using environmentally friendly materials but also entails raising awareness about the necessity for a shift in packaging practices (Prakash and Pathak, 2017). This study aims to systematically review the existing literature on green packaging. The primary focus of this research is to identify trends, findings, challenges, and the latest innovations in environmentally friendly packaging and to analyze their sustainability implications.

Abstract

Productivity is a challenge in the construction industry, commonly initiated by fragmentation. In addition, some work levels have been identified, including the micro, meso, and macro. However, the construction supply chain is one of the possible solutions adopted to increase productivity. The purpose of this study, therefore, is to develop a framework for measuring supply chain construction performance at the micro, meso, and macro levels. These respective stages are tiered from the bottom to the top level as a supply chain management concept. Furthermore, a design for the supply chain performance measurement framework is created, followed by formulation with KPI, and the consequent application in the project. Therefore, performance is evaluated based on the construction materials, as a large resource. The results identified the supply chain performance at the micro-level as the basis for possible measures between contractor and supplier, using the SCOR. However, the emphasis was made on the strength of construction companies with large suppliers at the meso level. Meanwhile, the macro-level includes the accumulation of related measurements from micro as well as meso, and are consequently used to define the relationship between construction actors at the national level.
