Abstract

The dangers of smoking remain a critical issue, with e-cigarette (vape) use rising among Gen Z, often perceived as safer than traditional cigarettes. This study aims to evaluate the factors influencing e-cigarette use among Generation Z and its impacts. Utilizing literature reviews from journals published in the last five years via Google Scholar and PubMate, the research was conducted from March to April 2025. Findings indicate that adolescent behavior is shaped by internal factors like knowledge, confidence, and gender, as well as external factors including parental support, peer influence, and accessibility. To combat the rising e-cigarette use, prevention and promotion efforts are crucial, focusing on education about health risks and strengthening social roles. Ultimately, the goal is to enhance Generation Z's awareness of the risks associated with e-cigarettes.

Adolescence is a transition from childhood to adulthood that experiences development of access to enter the adult phase including the function of reproduvtive organs. Deviant sexual behavior usually occurs among adolescents who have less knowledge of reproductive health and up finding out through peers or the internet whose truth is not yet know. Lack of information in this aspect encourges sexual behavior, which leads to unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases, as well as mental disorders. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between reproductive health knowledge and adolescent sexual behavior. The method used is a quantitative or cross-sectional approach, involving several respondents who were selected purposively. The research instrument was  a standardized questionnaire that passed the validity and reability test. The results showed a relationship between the level of reproductive health knowledge and sexual behavior in adolescents, where adolescents who have broader insights show good or responsible sexual behavior. From the research result, it is concluded that there is a need for a comprehensive reproductive health education program for adolscents in schools, families, and social environments to build safe sexual behavior.

Abstract

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is an important aspect for workers in various fields, and it is the responbility of companies to ensure safety in the workplace. This research uses the systematic Literature Review (SLR) method by first selecting journals or studies, then obtaining results in the form of references from ideas or models that will be developed in the future. The research is conducted from January to April 2025. Through this method, an assessment of the impact of PPE usage on the rate of work accidents, which remains relatively high in various aspects, can be carried out. The results of the data analysis showed a significant positive influence of safety culture on compliance in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). However, it cannot be ignored that there are still many standard operating procedures (SOPs) that are not running well, so the risks for workers remain.

Abstract

Occupational safety and health training explains that increased knowledge and awareness of workers about potential workplace hazards can motivate them to comply with safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). This research aims to analyze the effect of occupational safety and health training on the behavior of using PPE by workers in the construction industry. This research is driven by the high number of work accidents that happen in the construction industry sector in Indonesia, where many workers are still reluctant to use PPE. The method used is a comprehensive literature review, with analysis of various relevant sources including academic journals and research reports as well as 3 electronic databases, namely Google Scholar, PubMed, and GARUDA. The findings of the study showed that workers who participated in occupational safety and health training showed increased knowledge and awareness of potential hazards in the workplace. Despite this, compliance rates are still low, especially among younger and less experienced workers. There is still no clear research data on reducing the accident rate in workers after this occupational safety and health training. This research confirms the need for strict supervision in the field to create a safer and healthier work environment.
