Abstract

Geographically, Kadirejo village is located to the south of the Karanganom sub-district capital, which is still an integral part of the Klaten Regency area with a distance of 2 km from the sub-district capital and 7 km from the district capital, while from the provincial capital it is around 100 km. The Kadirejo village government has several parts of land that will have no access due to the closure of the Solo – Jogja toll road. To get around this, the Kadirejo Village Head wants to create a new tourist spot in the form of a Tiban market and fishing pond so that the village remains busy and increases the village's cash fund income through Bumdes. For this reason, the village head collaborated with academics to participate in planning the idea. The purpose of this community service is to help the community provide a brief description of partner problems and the goals of community service. The methods used are field surveys, data processing and reports. The final result is suggestions or recommendations regarding parking patterns and types of access roads to the tourist location in question. The recommended parking pattern is an island parking pattern with a type A fishbone shape (60° angle), and the road type is paving.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of Project Management System (PMS) implementation, Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology, and Cloud Collaboration on construction project efficiency in Riau, Indonesia. Utilizing a quantitative research design, data were collected from 190 professionals involved in construction projects and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings reveal that all three factors—PMS implementation, BIM technology, and Cloud Collaboration—positively and significantly influence construction project efficiency. Among these, BIM technology demonstrates the strongest impact, followed by Cloud Collaboration and PMS implementation. The high R² value (0.752) indicates that these factors collectively explain a substantial portion of the variance in project efficiency. This study underscores the importance of integrating advanced technological tools and management practices to enhance project outcomes in the construction industry. The results provide practical insights for construction firms in Riau and similar regions, suggesting that the adoption of BIM, Cloud Collaboration, and PMS can lead to significant improvements in project efficiency.

Abstract

Sadeng Village, Gunungpati, is still facing challenges in implementing Occupational Safety and Health (K3) among builders. Lack of understanding and awareness of the importance of K3 causes risky work practices and has the potential to cause work accidents. This Community Service Program (PPM) aims to increase the competency of builders in implementing K3 principles. The method used is an integrated and participatory approach, including outreach and direct visits to projects and laboratories. The results of activities show increased compliance with K3 principles. It is hoped that this program can be the first step to building a safe and healthy work culture among builders in Sadeng Village, as well as encouraging sustainable implementation of K3 in the future. Kurangnya pemahaman dan kesadaran tentang pentingnya K3 menyebabkan praktik kerja yang berisiko dan berpotensi menimbulkan kecelakaan kerja. Program Pengabdian pada Masyarakat (PPM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi tukang bangunan dalam menerapkan prinsip-prinsip K3. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan terpadu dan partisipatif, meliputi sosialisasi dan kunjungan langsung ke proyek dan laboratorium. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kepatuhan terhadap prinsip-prinsip K3. Abstract

This study aimed to ascertain the traffic volume, evaluate the performance and degree of saturation, and identify the service level category on Pabringan Road in Yogyakarta City. We surveyed to obtain primary data for the research method. We then analyzed the data using the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual 1997. According to the survey results, Pabringan Road experiences peak volumes of 792.1 pcu/hour in the morning, 979.3 pcu/hour in the afternoon, and 1103.3 pcu/hour at night. The road capacity calculation yielded a maximum capacity of 1185.52 pcu/hour. The speed on Pabringan Road decreased by 43.52% compared to the design flow speed of 23.72 km/hour, which was approximately 0.75. The analysis results indicate that during the morning peak hour, the level of service falls into category C, characterized by stable flow, increasing traffic density, and an increase in internal obstacles. During the afternoon peak hour, the service level falls into category D, indicating an approaching unstable flow and a high traffic volume. Changes in traffic flow conditions significantly impact the speed, even though it remains manageable. Moderate traffic density, fluctuations in traffic volume, internal traffic obstacles, and temporary obstacles can cause a significant speed reduction. High traffic interval obstacles significantly reduce traffic speed during the evening peak hour, causing drivers to experience short-duration congestion.

Abstract

As vital infrastructure, roads are a means of transportation access and function as a distribution route for goods and services. Road pavement plays a crucial role in highway construction, necessitating proper planning according to Indonesian standards and planning criteria to ensure smooth land transportation and provide comfort and safety for its users. This study aims to provide information on road conditions, drainage dimensions, and construction costs. Planning is crucial in every road construction design, particularly for rigid pavement, based on survey data collected from the road section. Numerous methods exist for calculating the design value of rigid pavement. We use the Pd T-14-2003 method and the NAASRA 1987 method (National Association of Australian State Road Authorities) to plan rigid pavement thickness in the industrial area of PT. Bukit Muria Jaya Kudus. The Pd T-14-2003 method yielded a JSKN of 4x107 and a CBR of 35% for the subgrade, resulting in a plate thickness of 150 mm. While the Naasra 1987 planning method achieved a JSKN of 6x107 and a CBR of 35% for the base soil, a plate thickness of 160 mm was obtained with a value of K = 80 kPa/mm. The reinforcement planning using the Pd T-14-2003 and Naasra 1987 methods involves longitudinal reinforcement D10 mm at a distance of 150 mm and transverse reinforcement D10 mm at 250 mm. The drainage dimensions at the cross-section location are width x height (1 m x 1 m), and the guard's height is 0.2 m.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the use of Augmented Reality in learning building structures on the understanding of concepts of Civil Engineering Students. This type of research is a quantitative research with a meta-analysis approach. The inclusion criteria in this study are research published in 2021-2024, research must be indexed by SINTA or Scopus, research must be relevant, research obtained from the journal databases of google scholar, Wiley, ScienceDirect, and ERIC and research data must be complete to calculate the effect size value (d). Data analysis with the help of the JASP application. The results of this study concluded that the 14 effects sizes analyzed had a total effect size value of d = 0.962; p 0.001. This finding explains that the use of Augmented Reality has a significant influence on the Conceptual Understanding of Civil Engineering Students in Building Structure Learning.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan Augmented Reality dalam pembelajaran struktur bangunan terhadap pemahaman konsep Mahasiswa Teknik Sipil. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan meta-analisis. Kriteria inklusi dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian diterbitkan tahun 2021-2024,  penelitian harus terindeks SINTA atau Scopus, penelitian harus relevan, penelitian diperoleh dari database jurnal google scholar, Wiley, ScienceDirect, dan ERIC dan data penelitan harus lengkap untuk menghitung nilai effect size (d). Analisis data dengan bantuan aplikasi JASP. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa 14 effects size yang dianalisis nilai summary effect size sebesar d = 0.962; p 0.001. Temuan ini menjelaskan bahwa penggunaan Augmented Reality memberikan pengaruh signifikan  terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Mahasiswa Teknik Sipil dalam Pembelajaran Struktur Bangunan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of construction 4.0 on project efficiency and safety. This type of research is a quantitative research with a meta-analysis approach. The data sources in this study come from the analysis of 13 national and international journals published in 2022-2025. The inclusion criteria are that the research must be relevant; research obtained from the database of reputable journals Sciencedirect; Wiley, Springer, Google Scholar and Mendeley, Research should report complete data. Analyze data with the help of Microsoft Excel and Jamovi applications. The results of this study explain the value of the summary effect size of ( d = 0.830 ; z = 6.073 ; p < 0.001). These findings show that construction 4.0 has a positive influence on the efficiency and safety of project work with a high influence category.

Abstract

Criminal law enforcement against companies in environmental crime cases still faces significant challenges. Although Law Number 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management (PPLH Law) has regulated criminal sanctions for companies that pollute the environment, its implementation is still weak. The main factors that hinder the effectiveness of law enforcement include difficulties in proving criminal elements, weak capacity of law enforcement officials, and political and economic pressures that benefit polluting companies. In addition, corruption, overlapping authority between institutions, and inequality between regulations and implementation are the main obstacles in criminally ensnaring companies. The principles of strict liability and corporate criminal liability that are expected to ensnare polluting companies are still not applied optimally. Legal reform is needed to strengthen the effectiveness of environmental criminal law enforcement, including through increasing the capacity of law enforcement officers, improving regulations, and implementing stricter sanctions such as the revocation of business licenses. Information transparency, inter-agency coordination, and protection for whistleblowers must also be strengthened. With these steps, it is hoped that environmental law enforcement can be more effective in providing a deterrent effect to polluting companies, ensuring corporate criminal responsibility, and upholding the principles of environmental justice in Indonesia.

Abstract

Background: Climate change is one of the most pressing global challenges, with significant consequences for ecosystems, economies, and human societies. International environmental law plays a critical role in shaping global efforts to mitigate climate change by establishing legal frameworks for cooperation and action. However, the effectiveness of international environmental law in addressing climate change remains a subject of debate, particularly concerning the implementation of mitigation strategies at the national and global levels. Objective: This study aims to analyze the role of international environmental law in climate change mitigation efforts, with a focus on the key legal instruments and agreements that shape global climate governance. The research seeks to evaluate the effectiveness of these legal frameworks in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainable environmental practices. Method: A qualitative research design was employed, using case studies, legal analysis, and interviews with environmental law experts, policymakers, and practitioners. The study examined major international agreements such as the Paris Agreement and the Kyoto Protocol to assess their impact on climate change mitigation efforts. Results: The findings indicate that while international environmental law has contributed to raising awareness and setting targets for climate change mitigation, the implementation of these efforts remains uneven, with many countries struggling to meet their commitments due to domestic challenges. Conclusion: The study concludes that international environmental law has been instrumental in global climate change efforts, but enhanced implementation mechanisms and greater international cooperation are necessary to achieve meaningful progress.

Abstract

Pemeliharaan jembatan merupakan elemen krusial dalam manajemen infrastruktur teknik sipil untuk memastikan keberlanjutan fungsi struktural dan keselamatan pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara meta-analitis pengaruh berbagai strategi pemeliharaan jembatan terhadap perpanjangan umur layanannya. Data diambil dari  15 studi yang mencakup strategi pemeliharaan preventif, prediktif, korektif, hingga rehabilitasi penuh, serta penggunaannya pada jembatan dengan beragam kondisi lingkungan dan material. Hasil meta-analisis menunjukkan bahwa  strategi pemeliharaan jembatan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap perpanjangan umur layanannya dengan nilai ( d= 0.825 ; p < 0.001) kategori effect size yang tinggi. Temuan ini memberikan informasi penting dalam pemeliharaan jembatan dalam teknik sipil. Bridge maintenance is a crucial element in civil engineering infrastructure management to ensure the sustainability of structural functions and user safety. This study aims to conduct a meta-analytical analysis of the impact of various bridge maintenance strategies on extending their service life. Data were collected from 15 studies covering preventive, predictive, corrective maintenance strategies, and full rehabilitation, as well as their application to bridges with diverse environmental conditions and materials. The results of the meta-analysis indicate that bridge maintenance strategies have a significant impact on extending their service life, with a high effect size (d = 0.825; p < 0.001). These findings provide important insights into bridge maintenance in civil engineering.
