Abstract

Tujuan kegiata PKM ini adalah memberikan pendampingan terhadap pengelolaan Data melalui Web Mobile di PKBM Cempaka. Metode kegiatan PKM ini adalah observasi, sosialisasi dan praktik pengelolaan data berbasis Web Mobile. Berdasarkan kegiatan PKM hasil dari kegiatan meliputi, 1) terlaksananya kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat di PKBM Cempaka, 2) terciptanya SDM pendidik di PKBM cempaka yang tinggi, 3) Adanya harapan pada pengawasan terhadap kegiatan pengelolaan data. Berdasarkan kegiatan tersebut dapat disimpulkan jika kegiatan PKM berlangsung baik dan mendapatkan apresiasi yang positif dari pengelola PKBM Cempaka.

Abstract

Pembelajaran mengajar di era perkembangan teknologi saat ini memungkinkan dengan ketidakhadiran guru di dalam kelas, siswa dapat mengikuti pembelajaran apapun setiap saat tanpa adanya komunikasi verbal dari guru. Dengan fasilitas internet maka dibuatlah sistem pembelajaran secara online atau sering disebut e-learning yang akan memudahkan siswa dalam memperoleh materi pembelajaran. Universitas PGRI Silampari bergerak menggunakan metode konvensional dalam sistem pembelajarannya, terutama dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris, sehingga interaksi cenderung berjalan satu arah dan mahasiswa kurang aktif. Untuk itu telah dibuat suatu desain e-learning, program studi Bahasa Inggris, khususnya bagi siswa dengan pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris sebagai inovasi sistem pembelajaran baru dan diharapkan siswa dapat lebih antusias dan berpartisipasi lagi dalam proses belajar mengajar.

Abstract

Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) Petunang didirikan pada tahun 2018 dan berfungsi sebagaimana mestinya hingga saat ini, pengolahan data yang dilakukan oleh aparatur BUMDes dalam meningkatkan potensi desa menjadi tolak ukur dalam perkembangan dan kemajuan desa petunang, kurangnya sistem informasi pengolahan manajemen BUMDes dalam birokrasi, administrasi desa mengakibatkan kondisi BUNDes Desa Petunang saat ini dalam kondisi buruk, hal ini disebabkan karena faktor SDM yang kurang mendapatkan pelatihan pengolahan BUMDes serta belum adanya sistem yang dapat mengelolah sistem informasi pengolahan data BUMDes pada desa petunang. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah dengan pendekatan yang sistematis, mulai dari tahap kebutuhan sistem lalu menuju ke tahap analisis, desain, coding, testing/verification, dan maintenance. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat diperoleh Web Mobile Pada Desa Petunang yang digunakan masyarakat untuk mempromosikan hasil usaha yang dikelola oleh Badan Usaha Milik Desa (Bumdes).

Abstract

Abstract The aim of this research was to develop an application-based learning media for Elementary School students to help them in learning English. Technology and information nowadays develop rapidly where the role of English is very crucial as a global language as well as the language of technology. This makes English one of elements to success in today's globalized world. English in Indonesia is still considered as a foreign language. In order to make English to be mastered as a communication tool, it is advisable to introduce English from an early age, especially at the Elementary School level. One way that can increase elementary school students' interest in getting to master English well is by developing various medium, especially application-based learning media that can be used on smartphones. Therefore, researchers developed Application-based Media to improve the English skills of IT Darussalam Muara Beliti Elementary School students. The results of this research were expected that the application-based learning media on smartphones to be used by teachers and elementary school students in the learning and teaching process. Abstract

This objective of the research was to prove whether there is significantly effective or not to use video in teaching listening for the eleventh grade students at SMA Al-Ikhlas Lubuklinggau. In this research, the researcher used pre-experimental method with one group pre-test and post-test. In collecting data, the researcher used the written test that was given twice to the students, pre-test and post-test. The researcher analyzed the data through individual score, normality testing, and matched t-test formula. The results showed that were 6 students passed the pre-test and 10 students failed in pre-test. While in the post-test, the students’ score increased, there were 14 students mastered the post-test and 2 students failed the post-test. In pre-test mean score was 66.25 and mean score in post-test was 85.31. The result of matched t-test, tobtained was 7.94 and ttable was 1.7531. it meant that the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. So it was significantly effective to teach listening skill by using video media to the eleventh grade students at SMA Al-Ikhlas Lubuklinggau. Keywords: Listening Skill, Teaching, Video Media

Abstract

This research study aimed to analyze of Educational Value by Scoot Derrickson in the Doctor Strange Movie. This study would answer the question “What are the educational values in Doctor Strange Movie ?”, by answering that question the researcher will know what were the educational values found in the Doctor Strange Movie. In this study the method used to found the educational values was qualitative descriptive method. The researcher found some educational values in the movie that divided into two parts, there are Values of being and values of giving. Values of being were: honesty, courage, peace ability, self-discipline, confidence and capability. Values of giving were: loyalty, respect, love, unselfishness, sensitivity, kindness, friendliness, justice and mercy.

Abstract

The problem in this study was Teaching Writing Narrative Text through Picture Series were able to improve students skill at X grade of SMA N 5 Lubuklingau in academic year 2017/2018?”. The method of study was pre – experimental method. The population of this study was all of the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 5 Lubuklinggau in academic year 2017/2018. The sample was taken through cluster random sampling consisting of 33 students of X.1 class the data were collected through written test. In analyzing the data, writer used four techniques, individual score, conversion of individual score, normality and paired t-test. Based on the result of the data analysis, there was improvement of the average scores or the average ability from the pre-test (40.79) to the post-test (66.42). in the pre-test, there were 2 students (6.06%) who were categorized passed, and in the post-test which was given after teaching writing trough picture series there were 18 students (54.54%) who were categorized passed. The result of the matched t-test calculation found out that was 7.32 and the with significance level 5% was 1.697. in this case, was higher than (7.32>1.697). it could be concluded that it was effective to teach writing through picture series to the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 5 Lubuklinggau in the academic year of 2017/2018.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The objectives of this thesis was to describe the ReligionEelementsin Nathaniel Hawthorne’s Young Goodman Brown. The method applied in this research was descriptive qualitative method. This research used human instrument by herself. The data was analyzed by describing the elements of religion in short story. In collecting the data, the researcher read the short story and in analysing the data the researcher identifying religion element according to Rees theory. Based on the result of data analysis, the researcher found out data that: 1) God (s) and forces in the public square. The first element was belief in God2)sacred symbols (re) defining what is real were staff, meditation, ceremony, holy psalm, pulpit and Bible 3) sacred stories connecting past, present and future was good Cristians and honestmen,and 4) a community worshiping and acting together was Cristian congregation.In conlusion, the religion elements in Young Goodman Brown short story included belief, attitude and action in everyday life. Abstract

SMAN Karya Sakti is one of the educational units at high school level in Karya Sakti, Kec. Muara Kelingi, Kab. Musi Rawas, South Sumatra. In carrying out its activities, SMAN Karya Sakti is under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Culture with B accreditation. SMAN Karya Sakti is located at Jalan Tapak Libok Blok A, Karya Sakti, Kec. Muara Kelingi, Kab. Musi Rawas, South Sumatra. The aim of this Community Service activity is to provide English language training on reading comprehension which is useful for students in answering ANBK exam questions. The method used in this service is through socialization, incidental training for 1 day. In the process of implementing this activity, the team will provide material as well as tips and tricks on how to easily answer reading skills questions so that it is hoped that students will have adequate abilities in answering questions about reading comprehension both on the ANBK exam and other tests. The expected output target is that students can predict the answers to National Examination questions and answer them correctly and briefly. They also have skills in Reading Skills to analyze the answers to the questions presented

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sebuah produk berupa bahan ajar berbasis saintifik pada tema 1 subtema 2 kebersamaan dalam keberagaman siswa kelas IV SDN 37 Lubuklinggau sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013 yang valid, praktis dan efektif untuk dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model 4-D yang terdiri dari 4 tahap, yaitu: pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop), dan pendeseminasian (desseminate). Berdasarkan dari hasil analisis penelitian oleh ke-3 ahli, yaitu: ahli bahasa, ahli media, dan ahli materi menunjukan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis saintifik memenuhi kategori valid “Tinggi” dengan rata-rata skor 0,8. Sedangkan hasil analisis lembar penilaian siswa dan guru yang terdiri dari tujuh orang diperoleh bahwa bahan ajar berbasis saintifik memenuhi kategori sangat praktis dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 86,35%. Analisis keefektifan dilihat dari hasil pre-test dan post-test menunjukan peningkatan yaitu dengan nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,72 masuk kedalam kategori tinggi. Sehingga bahan ajar berbasis saintifik memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif serta dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.
