Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat adalah pengenalan metode dan teknologi tepat guna dengan metode akuamber untuk teknik memadukan usaha bertanam sayur mayur dengan budidaya ikan dalam wadah ember. Pelaksanaan kegiatan di lahan sempit, pekarangan dan masih terkena sinar matahari karena tanaman sayuran dan ikan membutuhkan sinar matahari. Hasil usaha dapat dimanfaatkan konsumsi, peningkatan gizi bagi Balita dan anak serta anggota keluarga yang lain. Bahkan dapat dikonsumsi bersama dalam kegiatan rukun tetangga (RT/RW) dan kegiatan PKK sebagai usaha swadaya masyarakat. Keberlanjutan kegiatan PPM kepada kelompok sasaran dapat meningkatkan ketahanan pangan keluarga dengan menerapkan aplikasi probiotik pada budidaya polikultur antara ikan dan tanaman sayuran skala rumah tangga.

Abstract

Chlorella vulgaris is a green microalga (Chlorophyta) known to produce chlorophyll pigment as its primary pigment. Chlorophyll is known for its health benefits because it helps heal wounds and prevent hemophilia and diabetes and asthma. Chlorophyll is one of the pigments targeted as a functional food source. One of the environmental parameters that can affect chlorophyll content is the presence of light. This study aims to determine the effect of differences in light intensity on the chlorophyll content of C. vulgaris. The method used in this research is experimental, conducted in the laboratory using a completely randomized design (RAL). ANOVA is the statistical analysis used to analyze the effect of light intensity on chlorophyll content in C. vulgaris. C. vulgaris was cultivated with three different light intensity treatments, namely 1500, 3000, and 4500 lux, with three repetitions each. The growth of C. vulgaris was observed for 8 x 24 hours and then harvested by centrifugation on the eighth day to obtain the wet biomass. Cultivation wet biomass was extracted using acetone PA solvent. The acetone extract of C. vulgaris was analyzed for its chlorophyll pigment content using a spectrophotometer at 645 and 663 nm absorbance. The highest content of chlorophyll-a, b, and chlorophyll produced at a light intensity of 1500 lux was 26.2, 48.5, and 74.7 µg/ml, respectively. According to the results of statistical analysis, it can be concluded that different light-intensity treatments did not show a significant effect (p>0.05) on the content of chlorophyll-a, b, and total chlorophyll in C. vulgaris.

Abstract

Daya kreatifitas siswa dapat terasah salah satunya dengan meningkatkan bacaan terhadap karya sastra. Karya sastra menjadi pintu masuk sisws untuk membentuk imajinasi-imajinasi yang lebih luas lagi. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan kreatifitas siswa serta meningkatkan literasi bahasa dan sastra di SMP Muhammadiyah Nanggulan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan adalah sosialiasai, pelatihan, dan pendampingan. Berdasarkan metode tersebut, terdapat beberapa kegiatan yang dilakasanakan dalam pengabdian ini yaitu sosisalisasi sastra anak, penulisan sastra anak dan pendampingan pengelolaan majalah “SUMUNAR”. Kegiatan-kegiatan ini sebagai pembuka awal kreatifitas siswa dalam mengenal sastra anak, dan sekaligus memacu siswa untuk menuliskan atau menghasilkan karya sastra anak. Selain itu, pendampingan yang dilakukan dapat memberi wawasan baru kepada para redaksi baik dari siswa maupun guru tentang bagaimana regulasi dan pengelolaan sebuah majalah. Majalah yang diiterbitkan juga akan banyak berisi tentang hasil kreatifitas siswa dalam hal menulis, melukis, dan hal-hal positif lainnya. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya dilaksanakan dalam satu kurun waktu saja, akan tetapi dilaksanakan secara terus menerus dan berlanjut.

Abstract

Reef fish are one of the biota that are sensitive to environmental changes. Their abundance and diversity are supported by good coral reef conditions. This makes them a bioindicator of coral reef conditions. This study aims to examine the diversity of reef fish, ecological indices, and conditions of coral reef benthic substrates in Sorong City waters from September to November 2024 at ten research stations using the Underwater Visual Census (UVC) and Underwater Photo Transect (UPT) methods. The study found 174 species of reef fish from 26 families (107 major, 55 target, and 12 indicator). The diversity (H') and evenness (E) indices were moderate to high at 1.59-3.41 and 0.41-0.89, respectively, and dominance (C) was low at 0.04-0.48. PCA analysis showed that hard coral cover (HC) as the main determinant of reef fish community structure correlated with the families Pomacentridae, Chaetodontidae, Scaridae, Pempheridae, and Blennidae. This finding is important for marine resource management and conservation in the waters of Sorong City.   Ikan karang merupakan salah satu biota yang peka dengan perubahan lingkungan. Kelimpahan dan keanekaragamannya didukung oleh kondisi terumbu karang yang baik. Hal ini menjadikannya sebagai bioindikator kondisi terumbu karang. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji keanekaragaman ikan karang, indeks ekologi, dan kondisi substrat bentik terumbu karang di perairan Kota Sorong pada September-November 2024 di sepuluh stasiun penelitian menggunakan metode Underwater Visual Census (UVC) dan Underwater Photo Transect (UPT). Hasil penelitian ditemukan ikan karang 174 spesies dari 26 famili (107 mayor, 55 target, dan 12 indikator). Indeks keanekaragaman (H’) dan keseragaman (E) sedang hingga tinggi 1,59-3,41 dan 0,41-0,89, serta dominasi (C) rendah 0,04-0,48. Analisis PCA menunjukkan tutupan karang keras (HC) sebagai penentu utama struktur komunitas ikan karang berkorelasi dengan Pomacentridae, Chaetodontidae, Scaridae, Pempheridae dan Blennidae. Temuan ini penting untuk pengelolaan sumber daya laut dan konservasi di perairan Kota Sorong.

Preliminary study on the domestication of giant freshwater prawn, Macrobrachium rosenbergii (De Man, 1879) from North Kalimantan, Indonesia.   Abstract Automated water quality monitoring systems are urgently needed to ensure fish health and maintain aquaculture product quality. This study develops an adaptive microcontroller-based control system that automatically regulates salinity and turbidity to support the sustainable aquaculture of Harpodon nehereus. This study developed and evaluated a microcontroller-based system for automated regulation of salinity and turbidity in H. nehereus aquaculture ponds. Methods involved environmental observation, sensor calibration, system design, and field validation of a digital sensor-based water quality controller, tested in a pilot estuarine pond to keep salinity (~17‰) and turbidity (20-30 NTU) within optimal ranges. Calibration results obtained through linear regression analysis showed strong correlation with standard instruments (R² = 0.94 for salinity and R² = 0.93 for turbidity). Field trials demonstrated effective maintenance of turbidity within 22-27 NTU for 24 hours, and stepwise tests confirmed the system’s ability to track real-time salinity shifts. These results indicate that the microcontroller-based system effectively stabilises key water parameters for H. nehereus aquaculture and performs more efficiently than open systems. As one of the first integrated systems designed for automated salinity and turbidity regulation in estuarine aquaculture, it offers a practical and scalable approach to improve sustainability and ensure the food security of coastal fisheries. Future work should extend control to pH, DO, and temperature, refine calibration with predictive algorithms and wireless connectivity so that it can be used more widely in precision aquaculture with fish stocks.
