Abstract

This research aims to develop intuition-based E-modules that can be used to improve cognitive learning outcomes on human learning materials for science subjects in class VIII in junior high school. This study also aims to assess the effectiveness of the developed E-module and measure its learning outcomes. This development research involves the process described by Thiagarajan and consists of four stages, namely defining (Define), designing (Design), developing (Develop), and disseminating (Disseminate). The subjects of the small group trial consisted of 10 samples of students in class VIII of SMP Ma'arif 9 Seputih Banyak and the field trial subjects were 25 samples of students in class VIII of SMP Ma'arif 9 Seputih Banyak. Data collection instruments used assessment sheets in the form of response questionnaires and cognitive learning outcomes tests. The data analysis technique used paired sample t-test. The results of the research show that the guided inquiry-based E-Module can improve cognitive learning outcomes on human digestive system material for class VIII SMP according to design experts, linguists and material experts in Very Good criteria with a percentage of design expert validation of 90%, linguist validation of 90%. 89%, material expert validation, namely 90%, and received a positive response from students, namely with a percentage of 90% with Very Good criteria. There is a difference in the pretest learning results before using the E-Module, namely with an average of 76 and posttest after using the E-Module, namely with an average of 95, the N-gain score is 0.8 with a high interpretation.

Abstract

To foster student creativity through providing knowledge and instructional resources in the form of independent online courses. E-modules are learning resources that are logically organized so that students can access them at any time and from any location. The aim of developing this product is to provide goods in the form of e-modules that are useful and make it easier for students to study biology independently. To ensure the feasibility and success of the product to be tested, research and development (R&D) is the research methodology used, using a 4D model consisting of defining, designing, developing and disseminating. Based on the results of the development of the Pjbl e-module assisted by Qr Code, it was concluded that the e-module is good and suitable for students to use, it can increase student independence and help students achieve learning goals.

Abstract

The aim of this study were 1) to determine the strength of the absorption of various types of natural dyes of dragon fruit, beet fruit, blueberry fruit on spinach stem preparations (Amaranthus spinosus, L.), 2) to determine the results of the absorption of the best types of natural dyes on spinach stem preparations (Amaranthus spinosus, L.), 3) to make the results of research on the absorption of natural dye types as practicum preparations in plant tissues This type of research is qualitative descriptive experimental research. This study used 3 treatments 3 times repetition using dragon fruit dyes, beet fruit and blueberry fruit and 1 positive control using synthetic dyes in the form of safranin. Data analysis in this study is presented in the form of non-statistical qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the study, the strength of the absorption of dye types has different absorption strengths seen from the results of RGB (Red, Green, Blue) values, luminance values, ratio values and overall RGB (Red, Green, Blue) values from each treatment. The best type of dye absorption starts from dragon fruit, blueberry fruit, beet fruit, and 1 positive control safranin dye. The results of the study were declared "feasible" to be used as a coloring preparation for plant tissue practicum.

Abstract

Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Asoka merupakan salah satu kelompok yang berada di Desa Sri Rejosari, Kecamatan Way Jepara Kabupaten Lampung Timur. KWT Asoka memiliki kegiatan bertani seperti penanaman sayur. Dari kegiatan penanaman ini belum dapat meningkatkan nilai pendapatan KWT secara signifikan. Salah satu sebab diantaranya adalah masih minimnya pengetahuan tentang pemanfaatan lahan sisa yang efektif untuk meningkatkan pendapatan para anggota KWT. Oleh karena itu tujuan dari PKM ini yaitu meningkatkan pengetahuan KWT dengan cara sosialisasi dan pelatihan BUDIKDAMBER dan pengolahan ikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam PKM ini yaitu sosialisasi dan pelatihan yang diberikan kepada KWT. Hasil kegiatan PKM menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan KWT Asoka dilihat dari nilai rata – rata pres test dan post test yaitu hasil rata-rata perhitungan nilai pre test dan post test untuk BUDIKDAMBER menunjukkan kenaikan pengetahuan dari 67 menjadi 78. Nilai rata- rata pre test dan post test untuk pengetahuan pengolahan ikan juga mengalami kenaikan dari 74 menjadi 83.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan sumber daya yang melimpah bagi suatu daerah merupakan salah satu upaya pembentukan peradaban bagi masyarakat. Permaslahan pertanian yang saling berhubungan menjadi dasar bag terlaksananya Program Kosabangsa tahun 2025 di Desa Sri Rejosari yang dilaksanakan dari bulan September 2025. Permasalahan yang dimiliki oleh mitra 1 adalah sulitnya pengadaan pakan pada saat musim kemarau, pengolahan limbah serta pengolahan dan pemasaran susu kambing yang menjadi produksi utama dari Kelompok ternak Semesta Farm. Sedangkan permasalahan yang ada pada mitra 2 adalah KWT yang tidak aktif serta kurangnya edukasi bagi kelompok wanita tani. Kegiatan pemberdayaan ini dilakukan dengan metode CBR (Community Based Research) dengan pendekatan bottom-up. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan menggunakan 4 aspek pemberdayaan yaitu bina manusia, bina usaha, bina lingkungan dan bina lembaga. Dengan adanya permasalahan pada mitra 1 dan 2, maka diberikan pelatihan tentang pembuatan pakan fermentasi, pengolahan pupuk, pengolahan susu, budidaya cabe jawa dan sayuran, budidaya ikan dalam ember, diversifikasi produk, dan pemasaran. Dengan dilakukannya pengabdian ini memberikan dampak berupa peningkatan pengetahuan dan kapasitas mitra, serta peningkatan produktivitas mitra.

Abstract

The developments in education can be seen from various curriculum renewals and the quality of educators. To achieve the expected learning objectives, educators are also required to be able  develop skills in making learning materials that will be used. The purpose of development research is to produce products in the form of Digital Comics by Integrating Islamic Values as Biology Learning Media in the Main Material of the Scope of Biology. Overcoming problems and meeting existing needs by being used as supporting facilities and infrastructure for the learning process and realizing national education goals. This digital comic development method uses the 4D model consisting of 4 stages, namely Define (defining), Design (design), Develop (development), and Desseminate (dissemination). Based on the results of the validation data analysis, the media aspect obtained a percentage of 85.2%, the validation results from the material aspect obtained a percentage of 90%, the validation results from the Islamic values aspect obtained a percentage of 94%, the validation results from subject teachers obtained a percentage of 91 .5%, and from the small group trial results obtained a percentage of 90.5% which includes media aspects, material aspects and Islamic values, Overall product assessment from expert validation and small group trials obtained an average of 90% with "Very Good" criteria. It was concluded that the digital comics developed were suitable to be used as a medium for learning biology with the subject matter of the Scope of Biology in schools.

Abstract

Technological advances encourage learning media innovations, one of which is digital comics. This study aims to develop digital comics with the theme of genetic engineering integrated with Islamic values using the ADDIE model (analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The results of the needs analysis showed that 90% of students had difficulty understanding the concept of genetic engineering, while 87% were interested in using digital comics as learning media. The developed digital comics were validated by three experts, namely material, media, and Islamic values experts, with the percentage of feasibility of 85%, 98%, and 92%, respectively, all of which were included in the category of “very feasible.” The results of the trial conducted with one teacher obtained an average percentage of 98%, while the trial with 30 students obtained an average percentage of 88%, both in the “very good” category.  These findings indicate that digital comics are feasible to use as biology learning media in high school with interactive audio-visual advantages. Further research is recommended to focus on measuring the achievement of learning objective criteria to determine the impact of using this digital comic on improving overall student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aimed to inform the public about the potential utilization of rubber wastewater and disposable diaper waste as raw materials for organic fertilizer using Pumakkal as a fermentor to enhance edamame productivity. The method used was a literature study of relevant scientific sources, including national and international journals, books, and research reports discussing the characteristics of rubber wastewater, the hydrogel content and organic compounds in disposable diapers, the role of indigenous bacteria in Pumakkal during the fermentation process, and the compliance of organic fertilizer with Indonesian National Standard (SNI). The results showed that rubber wastewater still contains organic materials with potential use as fertilizer, while disposable diapers contain hydrogel and organic compounds from urine that can support nutrient availability. Pumakkal fermentor, which contains indigenous bacteria derived from pineapple wastewater, was able to effectively degrade organic materials, resulting in fertilizer that meets SNI quality standards and has the potential to be applied to improve edamame productivity. In conclusion, the utilization of rubber wastewater and disposable diapers with Pumakkal fermentor shows promising potential as an environmentally friendly organic fertilizer and as a sustainable solution for waste management and edamame productivity enhancement.
