Abstract

Every    educational    institution,    wants    every    student    to    achieve    satisfactory achievements, achievements achieved by students are the main measurement tool and hope for knowing the success of an education. To further improvestudent learning achievement, it needs several ways to support the process of achieving that goal, and among the ways that can  be  taken  is  to  start  the  implementation  of  various  extracurricular  activities  in  each educational  institution.  Extracurricular  activities  are  a  series  of  programs  for  teaching  and learning  activities  outside  the  programmed  hours,  which  are  intended  to  improve  the perspective  of  students,  to  foster  talent  and  interest  and  to  serve  the  community.  For example:  in  Scouting  activities  is  a  form  of  activity  that  many  develop  humanitarian  and spiritual  activities  in  socializing,  including  cleanliness  of  the  environment,  providing assistance  to  people  who  are  in  disasters,  health  and  so  on.  The  article  is  intended  to investigate  the  extent to  which  teaching  styles  and  student  learning  motivation  influence partially and simultaneously on student achievement. The samples are 124studentsoutof248from  class  X  and  XI  students Satya  Dharma  High  School  Balung  Jember.  Data obtained  from questionnaires  and  documentation  were  analyzed  by  multiple  regression techniques. The results show that the teacher's teaching style and student learning motivation contribute  more  to  student  achievement.  However,  learning  motivation  has  more  dominant influence on student learning achievement than the teacher's teaching style. But this research only  discusses  concepts  and  conclusions  taken  from  the  relevant  researcher  hypothesis before.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the success of the accountinginformation system at PT. Kuncimas Niagatama Banyuwangi. The success of accountinginformation systems is influenced by Human Behavior in Organizations, ManagementSupport, Motivation and Training, Data Processing in the System, and Management andImplementation Process. This study used the primary data by total sample of thirty-fiveemployees and used the purposive sampling technique. The quality of the questionnaire wastested using the validity test and reliability test. Data analysis used multiple regressionanalysis, which includes the classic assumption test, t test and the coefficient of determinationThe results showed that Human Behavior in Organizations, Motivation and Training,Management and Implementation Process significantly influence the Success of AISImplementation. Only Management Support variable and Data Processing in the System haveno significant effect on the Success of AIS Implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of JemberRegency Government in terms of the Regional Financial Self-Sufficiency Ratio, the Effectiveness Ratio of Local Own Revenue and Efficiency Ratio of Local Own Income and the Debt Service Coverage Ratio (DSCR) during 2014-2018. This type of research was quantitative descriptive of the Regional Government Financial Statements (LKPD) of the Jember Regency Government. The data collection techniques used were documentation, interviews, and literature study. Quantitative data analysis was used to calculate the amount of Self-SufficiencyRatio, Effectiveness and Efficiency Ratio, and Debt Service Coverage Ratio. The results showed that: (1) the Ratio of Self-Sufficiency of the Jember Regency Government as measured by Local Own Income (PAD)reached an average of 23% for each year. This condition shows that the Self-Sufficiencyofthe Jember Regency Government wasnot as expected. (2) The effectiveness ratio of PAD collection by the Government of Kabupaten Jember reaches an average of 94%. This condition indicates thatthe PAD collection has been effective. Meanwhile, the efficiency ratio of PAD collection reaches an average of 38% per year. This condition shows that the cost of collecting local revenue tends to be efficient because the efficiency ratio was less than 100%. (3) Debt Service Coverage Ratio (DSCR) in 2014 to 2018 shows that local governments were not eligible to make loans because the DSCR value was less than 2.5. Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of service to the satisfaction of the community in making the Land Certificate in the Land Office of Bondowoso district. This research was conducted at the Land Office, Bondowoso Regency. The population in this study is the Bondowoso community. The sampling method uses simple random sampling with questionnaire distribution techniques. The number of samples in this study were 55 respondents, namely applicants who came directly to the Land Office of Bondowoso Regency. The data analysis method in this study uses the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) analysis and the Customer Satisfaction Index. Based on the results of data analysis, the variable with the largest gap in the Empathy Dimension is the gap value of -0.38 and the estimated gap is -0.1 in the Guarantee Dimension. This result also shows that the indicators of quality of certificate-making services whose level of importance is in accordance with the community are above average but are better than expected. Abstract

Culinary business in JemberRegency is increasing and developing rapidly. This phenomenon causes the consumer's various culinary choices. With the existing of competition in culinary business, triggers the employers to move faster in attracting consumers. Swiwings Jember has to be able to take advantage of business opportunity and try hard to apply marketing strategy and factors that can impact the purchasing. This research aims to determine the influence of Service quality, Store atmosphere, Price and Word of Mouth toward the buyingdecision in Swiwings Jember. This type of reseacrh is quantitative reseacrh. The technique uses purposive sampling technique. The research sample used was 50 respondents.This study used tools of analysis such as: Instrument test, Classic Assumption test, and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. Hyphotesis is done using the t and F test. It is know that using the t test of Service Quality, Store Atmospheric and Price does not have a partially significant effect on the Purchasing Decision, whereas Word of Mouth has a partially significant effect on the Purchasing Decision. It is know that using the F test Service Quality, Store Atmosphere, Price and Word of Mouth have the significant simultaneous effect in purchasing decision. Abstract

Quality of education is one of the central isue of national education among other isues such asequlization, relevance and educational management eficiencies. SMA Argopuro Panti is stillfaced with several obstacles that affect the quality of education, which regard to the backgroundof students and their families, support of educational resources, teachers qualification, and lowcommunity participation. This research aims to obtain information about the policies underlyingthe school-based education quality improvement program, and how the school stakeholdersunderstanding of the policy and to analyze information about alternative strategies for improvingthe quality of schoole-based education, regarding to the education program in SMA ArgopuroPanti Jember. Informants in this study are founders of foundations, school committee members,and teacher, research subjects are relatively few and selected according to the research objects. Inthis study, collection uses snowball sampling techniques. Data analysis method uses SWOTanalysis method. Based on the results of the analysis it is known that SMA Argopuro Panti is in avery favorable situation, it should able to compete because according to data analysis this schoolalready has the strengthand opportuintyto improve its quality and dare to compete with otherschools. Abstract

Na-Oogst tobacco or also called Besuki Na-Oogst tobacco is a type of cigar tobacco that is grown in the dry season and harvested at the beginning of the rainy season where the export market share is very promising at a high enough price. Jember is the center of this type of tobacco. This study aims to determine the level of profit and feasibility of Tobacco Na Oogst farm business in Jember Regency. This study used Multistage Cluster Sampling, with the number of respondents are 120 people. The results showed that Tobacco Na Oogst farm business per hectare requires a total cost of Rp27,042,469 and resulted in a total revenue of Rp168,633,671. Thus, Tobacco Na Oogst farm business per hectare is able to produce a net profit of Rp141,591,202. The R/C Ratio of Tobacco Na Oogst farm business is 6.24 (R/C ratio> 1). This means that every Rp1,000 the costs incurred for Tobacco Na Oogst farm business able to provide revenue of Rp6,240. Therefore, Tobacco Na Oogst farm business is feasible.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk membangun strategi pemasaran dalam upaya meningkatkan penjualan pupuk pertanian mersubsidi pada kios Resmi UD. HASRI JAYA. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April sampai dengan Juni 2017 bertempat di Desa Karang Harjo Kecamatan Patrang Kabupaten Jember. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dimana populasi penelitian ini berupa produsen dan konsumen yang mempunyai wawasan tentang pemasaran pupuk pertanian bersubsidi. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara purposive sampling dalam yang terdiri dari 5 orang. Data yang diperoleh adalah data kualitatif dan kuantitatif hasil wawancara responden yang kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alternatif strategi pemasaran yang tepat untuk meningkatkan penjualan pupuk pertanian bersubsidi pada kios resmi UD. HASRI JAYA Di Kecamatan Silo Kabupaten Jember adalah strategi WO (strategi meminimalkan kelemahan organisasi sehingga dapat merebut peluang). Strategi yang harus diterapkan dalam kondisi ini adalah strategi turn around. Dalam hal ini kelemahan organisasi perlu diperbaiki untuk memperoleh peluang yang besar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility and sensitivity of big chili farm business in Jember Regency. Chili is one of the horticultural plants that have high economic value, in spite of chili farm business also has a high risk, since the price of the chili was involatile. Using the case study type of research, primary data were obtained from 120 respondents of big chilli farmers in Wuluhan and Ambulu Districts. Sampling was done by the Multistage Cluster Sampling Method. Data analysis used R/C Ratio analysis and sensitivity analysis. The results showed that: 1) Big chilli farmbusiness in Jember Regency had an R/C Ratio of 3.37, so this farm business is feasible to be cultivated; 2) Big chilli farmbusiness had no loss if the maximum production cost increase was less than 237%, ceteris paribus. Likewise, a decrease in production or a decrease in selling prices up to 70.29%. This finding could be additional information to enlarge farmer’s big chili business.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat keuntungan usahatani cabai besar rata-rata per hektar di Kabupaten Jember. Data primer diperoleh dari 120 responden petani cabai besar di Kecamatan Wuluhan dan Kecamatan Ambulu. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode Multistage Random Sampling. Analisis data menggunakan keuntungan absolut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Usahatani cabai besar di Kabupaten Jember memerlukan biaya produksi total rata-rata sebesar Rp53.532.193 per hektar, 2) Usahatani cabai besar di Kabupaten Jember menghasilkan penerimaan total rata-rata sebesar Rp180.210.264 juta per hektar. 3) Usahatani cabai besar di Kabupaten Jember menghasilkan keuntungan bersih rata-rata sebesar Rp126.678.071 juta per hektar.
