Abstract

Soybean is a major cropafter rice and maize. Most soybean sare used as raw materials of tempeh and tofu. Indonesian soybean production is always less than the demand. This study aims to: (1) to determine the factors that affect the response of soybean a cre age in Indonesia, (2) to determine the factors that affect the response of soybean productivity in Indonesia, and (3) to determine the most dominant factors that affect to soybean supply response. The data used are secondary data, iethe data of national soybean 1979-2013 period. This study uses the Partial Adjustment Model by Nerlove. The results showed that: (1) Lag soybean prices and dum my base price does not significantly affect soybean acre age. Soybean soybean acre age only significantly affected by soybean acre age lag. (2) Lag productivity and lag soybean prices have a significant effect on the productivity of soybean, soybean acreage where as no significant effect. (3) Response offers more influenced by the response of productivity than the response area.

Abstract

This study aims: (1) To identify trends harvest area, production, and productivity of soybean in Indonesia. (2) To determine the tendency of soybean demand in Indonesia. This study uses secondary data (1995-2011). The data were obtained from the Deptan, BPS, and FAOSTAT. Data analysis using the least squares method . The results showed that: (1) The harvested area and soybean production in Indonesia tend to decrease, but the productivity tends to increase. (2) The level of soy consumption will still higher than the level of soybean production, so without the right policies, soybean self-sufficiency target will not be achieved.

Abstract

Business engaged in the banking industry, need to pay attention to aspects of corporate image and user image. These two aspects, has always been a discussion that is very important in developing the banking business, because of the growth in this business depends on customer confidence in the company that can be created through the corporate image and user image. This study aimed to test the effect of the corporate image and user image on purchasing decisions Islamic banking services in Jember. The population in this study is that people who use services Islamic banking in Jember. Given the large number of population in this study, the sample used was simple random sampling which is used to specify the bank to be sampled and purposive sampling was used to determine the respondent from bank customers was selected. Based on these two methods, the obtained sample of 140 respondents. Methods of data analysis using multiple regression analysis with latent variables with the help of software lisrel 8.72. Based on the results of data analysis showed that the corporate image and user image has significant effect to the purchasing decisions of Islamic banking services in Jember. This result also reveals that the corporate image most dominant influence on purchasing decisions Islamic banking services in Jember.

Abstract

Rewardwas an honorarium or a remuneration which is accepted by someone depend on his job that has done. Reward was divided into two types, the first one was intrinsic reward, and the second one was extrinsic reward. Intrinsic reward was a reward which derived from the internal of someone. Extrinsic reward was a reward which derived from the external of someone. Theoretically, reward could give an effect on job satisfaction and individual commitment. Job satisfaction is a reflection of what was want from the job and what was received from the job. Commitment is a condition which individuals become bounded and involved by its activities and keep retaining the activities and the involvements. The purpose of this research was to study the effect of intrinsic reward and extrinsic reward on job satisfaction and commitment to vocational high school educators in Pandaan district Pasuruan regency. The types of this research was explanative research and using primary and secondary data collecting methods. Results of this research was reward, both intrinsic and extrinsic reward, had a direct, positive, and significant effect on job satisfaction and commitment to vocational high school educators in Pandaan district Pasuruan regency. Besides, job satisfaction also had a direct, positive, and significant effect on commitment to vocational high school educators in Pandaan district Pasuruan regency. Data analysis methods that used in this research was descriptive statistic analysis and inferential statistic analysis with path analysis. Based on the results, it is expected to vocational high school in Pandaan district Pasuruan regency could give more priority to improved the reward, both intrinsic and extrinsic reward by improved the job satisfaction, so that the commitment of educators also could be improved.

Abstract

The research objective are: (1) to analyze the development of GDP for 5 years in each sector, (2) to analyze the economic base sectors that can promote economic growth territory and, (3) to analyze economic sectors that have potential to be developed as supporting economic growth in Probolinggo Regency. The tools used GDP growth analysis, Location Quotient (LQ) analysis, Shift Share analysis and Klassen Tipologi. The results showed the transport and communications sector is the highest growth sector in Probolinggo Regency and Agriculture, electricity, and water and services into potential sectors in Probolinggo Regency. The growth rate of the agricultural sector, the sector of excavation, and electricity and water supply sector is faster than GDP of the East Java.The agricultural sector and the electricity and water sector are excellent sectors of good potential, while the services sector is a sector with good value potential. Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of commitment, communication, and problem handling on customer trust. The purpose of this study is to test and analyze commitment, communication, and handling problems to customer trust simultaneously or partially. The sampling technique in this study is nonprobability sampling and uses purposive sampling. The sample in this study amountedto 125 sample respondents to customers. The research method used in this study is multiple linear regression, t-test, f test,and the coefficient of determination R2. based on the results of the study indicate that the variables commitment (????1), communication(????2), and problem handling (????3) simultaneously influence the customer's trust and commitment variable (????1) and problem handling (????3) partially effect on customer trust while communication (????2) has no partial effect on customer trust in the East Java bank in Banyuwangi. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to measure and test the variables and indicators that influence the success of academic information system (SIAKAD) in universities with STIE Mandala Jember as a case study. Adopting Delone & Mclean IS Success research model, a set of structured questionnaires were distributed to 100 respondents. Exogenous variables include System Quality, Information Quality, Service Quality, and endogenous variables Student Satisfaction. Perceived usefulness variable used as a intervening variable proved it could mediate the quality of information, the quality of system and the quality of services to user satisfaction. Path analysis is employed as analitical technic. The result shows that there is a significant effect on the quality of the system, quality of the information, the quality of the services to the students’ satisfaction. Perceived usefulness variable, can mediate between exogenous variables to endogenous variables. This conclusion support the prediction of many previous researches.This indicates that the model used is not proper because the model is built on the construct of implementation of academic information system onstudents’ satisfaction. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence, motivation and work environment on teacher performance with work communication as moderation at SMK PGRI 1 Giri Banyuwangi. The data analyzed came from 35 teacher respondents in SMK PGRI 1 Giri Banyuwangi. Data analysis tools with multiple linear regression and multiple linear regression moderation variables with the interaction test method (MRA). The results of linear regression indicate that partially Emotional Intelligence has no significant effect on Teacher Performance, Motivation has a significant effect on Teacher Performance and the Work Environment has a significant effect on Teacher Performance. Line 2 linear regression with the addition of the independent variable Work Communication shows that partially Emotional Intelligence has no significant effect on Teacher Performance, Motivation has a significant effect on Teacher Performance, Work Environment has a significant effect on Teacher Performance and Work Communication has no significant effect on Teacher Performance. The results of the moderation regression show that work communication partially moderates the effect of Emotional Intelligence on Teacher Performance, Work Communication moderates the effect of motivation on Teacher Performance and Work Communication moderates weakens the influence of the Work Environment on Teacher Performance. Abstract

Terjadi peningkatan yang cukup signifikan pada tahun 2021, dimana jumlah mahasiswa baru Akademi Kelautan Banyuwangi naik hingga 59% dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya. Padahal adanya pandemi covid-19 membatasi segala aktifitas promosi dan sosialisasi yang biasanya dapat melakukan pertemuan secara langsung dengan calon mahasiswa baik di sekolah maupun di pameran pendidikan, harus dirubah secara daring dan memanfaatkan sebaik-baiknya peran media sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh personal selling, word of mouth dan media sosial terhadap keputusan mahasiswa memilih kuliah di Akademi Kelautan Banyuwangi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Akademi Kelautan Banyuwangi yang aktif pada saat penelitian ini berlangsung dengan jumlah 137 mahasiswa. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh dan teknik analisis model regresi linier berganda. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa. Word of mouth merupakan variabel paling dominan dengan kontribusi sebesar 35,7% dan word of mouth terjadi karena adanya pengalaman positif yang didapat mahasiswa selama menempuh pendidikan di Akademi Kelautan Banyuwangi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh antara Perilaku Tugas dan Perilaku Hubungan Pimpinan serta motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai di jajaran Kantor Kecamatan Klabang Kabupaten Bondowoso. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Klabang, Kabupaten Bondowoso, dari April hingga Juni 2024. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah metode sampling jenuh (sensus), yaitu seluruh populasi pegawai di kantor kecamatan Klabang sebanyak 30 orang yang dijadikan sampel. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan pengujian asumsi klasik.Perilaku Tugas dan Perilaku Hubungan Pimpinan serta Motivasi Kerja berpengaruh secara Simultan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Kantor Kecamatan Klabang Di Kabupaten Bondowoso, Perilaku Tugas Pimpinan secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja Pegawai Kantor Kecamatan Klabang Di Kabupaten Bondowoso. Di mana indikatornya adalah Penetapan Tujuan,Mengorganisasi kerja, Menetapkan batas waktu, Memberikan arahan secara spesifik dan Mensyaratkan adanya laporan rutin, Perilaku Hubungan Pimpinan secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Pegawai Kantor Kecamatan Klabang Di Kabupaten Bondowoso. Indikatornya adalah Memberikan dukungan dan dorongan, Melibatkan pegawai dalam diskusi, Memudahkan interaksi antara sesama pegawai, Aktif mencari informasi keluhan pegawai dan Memberikan umpan balik tentang hasil kerja bawahan, Motivasi Kerja secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Kantor Kecamatan Klabang Di Kabupaten Bondowoso. Indikatornya adalah Pengakuan prestasi, Pengakuan terhadap penghargaan, Pengakuan terhadap pekerjaan dan Pengakuan tanggung jawab. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara Perilaku Tugas dan Perilaku Hubungan Pimpinan serta Motivasi Kerja terhadap Kinerja Pegawai, baik secara simultan maupun secara parsial
