Abstract

This research was conducted to study the characteristics of tides and tidal make synthetic model.The data used tide data hourly to the length of the data in 1985-1987 at the station Tanjung Priok,Jakarta province, Indonesia.The modeling is performed using a data length of 15 daily or for any length of data to 360 hoursand data 30 daily or for any length of data 720. Using data from tide observations obtained andapply Anfor equations and method least squares can be generated model of periodic tidal hourly.Model periodic tidal of tidal observation data is assumed as the model data obtained by using 9tidal harmonic components. From the modeling results and the measured data can be seen thecorrelation coefficient and the value of modeling errors.Based on these results we can conclude tidal hourly synthetic time series obtained significantlyapproaching tidal measurable. The correlation coefficient was very good, the value of the averagecorrelation coefficient models 30 daily periodic observation is 0.9377 and the average ofcorrelation coefficient models 15 daily periodic observation is 0.9571. From this research can beseen the value of a good tide data and allow for cost saving tide observations with 15 days ofobservation.keywords: daily tidal, the value of modeling errors, correlation coefficient

Abstract

The safety level of a slope is influenced by several factors, including factors tilt and loads working on it. Slope conditions with large loads and steep slopes can cause landslides. The influence of heavy rain flushed the majority of the region martapura - baturaja cause landslides and slope at some point in double track train along 50m which have geographic condition consists of the land pile of high steep, so prone to landslides. This is certainly very dangerous for trains, and around the slopes a solution is needed that can be an alternative to make the slope safe from landslide hazards. Based on the laboratory tests that have been carried out of the samples were taken from the site, so the analysis of the existing slopes stability with computer analysis shows the condition of unstable because from the result of numerical safety value analysis 1,731 for condition 1 and 1,732 for condition 2, so that needed reinforcement on the slopes itself. From the analysis of the slopes stability which has been strengthened with a combination of retaining Wall of land and drill pile using the Computer Analysis obtained greater numerical safety value compared by only reinforced with retaining Wall land for 3,978 to condition 1 and 3,983 to condition 2, so the design of strengthening is safe and able to withstand landslide. Keyword : Borehole Data, Geoelectric, Computer Analysis using methods Fellenius

Abstract

AbstrakSpillway atau disebut dengan bangunan pelimpah merupakan bangunan air yang memiliki fungsi untuk mengalirkan debit banjir yang masuk ke dalam waduk. Dalam perencanaan suatu bangunan air diperlukan penelitian terdahulu mengenai masalah penggerusan lokal (Local Scouring) yang terjadi akibat adanya kecepatan air dan turbulensi yang melampaui daya tahan dari dasar saluran pada bagian hilir bangunan. Dari analisis hidrolika penelitian ini menggunakan desain bangunan pelimpah Ogee and Stepped dengan model fisik 2-D dan sedimen yang digunakan adalah pasir dengan diameter seragam yaitu 1,8 mm atau lolos ayakan no. 16. Penelitian ini menunjukkan 5 kali pengamatan pola gerusan lokal di hilir bendung pada setiap percobaan selama 25 menit. Pengamatan gerusan meliputi besarnya debit dan kedalaman gerusan maksimum yang terjadi pada hilir bendung. Pada bangunan pelimpah Ogee Spillway gerusan maksimum (dsmax) terjadi pada ketinggian di hulu (H0) 3 cm sebesar 0,097 m dengan Lds sebesar 0,17 m dari hilir pelimpah. Pada bangunan pelimpah Stepped Spillway gerusan maksimum (dsmax) terjadi pada ketinggian di hulu (H0) 3 cm sebesar 0,125 m dengan Lds sebesar 0,09 m dari hilir pelimpah. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin besar debit aliran, maka semakin besar kedalaman gerusan yang terjadi.  Kata kunci : Pelimpah Ogee and Stepped Spillway, Gerusan Lokal, Sedimen.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara dengan iklim tropis yang memiliki dua musim, musim kemarau dan musim hujan. Pengukuran curah hujan di Indonesia dilakukan oleh beberapa badan, salah satu diantaranya adalah Badan Meteorologi Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG) dan juga TRMM NASA. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghitung nilai korelasi data curah hujan antara TRMM dan BMKG dengan mencari persamaan hubungan antar data dan menganalisis data curah hujannya. Data yang digunakan merupakan curah hujan harian dari tahun 1998-2012. Data dianalisis dalam bentuk data 7 harian, bulanan, dan tahunan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan jika data curah hujan yang diukur oleh TRMM memiliki kesamaan pola distribusi temporal curah hujan yang diukur oleh BMKG. Nilai korelasi antara data TRMM dan BMKG menunjukkan hasil yang lebih baik jika menggunakan data bulanan, dimana nilai korelasi yang terbesar dari ketiga stasiun adalah,7281 di Stasiun Meteorologi H. Asan Hananjoedin dan yang terkecil adalah 0,5829 di Stasiun Meteorologi Depati Amir.

Abstract

The importance of soil as construction material needs to be considered carefully. With various soil conditions, a physical test is required to discover the characteristics of the soil and California Bearing Ratio (CBR) test in a laboratory to determine the bearing capacity of the basic land (subgrade). This research was conducted to assess the suitability of the CBR test value with two different compaction tools. The results of this study showed that the soils were classified into A-6 clay soil type. On the modified proctor compaction test, the maximum weight volume (γdmaks) was 1,70 gr/cm3, while the compaction with modified press tool obtained 1,75 gr/cm3. Based on the results of the values obtained from CBR standard test is 11,5% and 1,32% for the soaked sample .While the CBR value without immersion with modified press tool are 7,7% for 3 MPa, 16,2% for 6 MPa, 19,5% for 9 MPa, 20,5% for 12 Mpa. For the soaked samples are 1,53% for 3 Mpa, 2,7% for 6 Mpa, 3,56% for 9 Mpa, and 4,33% for 12 Mpa. In conclusion, the CBR value escalation is higher when using the modified pressure tool compared with the CBR standard method.

Abstract

Soils have different types and different carrying capacity. One of them is clay soil that has the low carrying capacity. Viewed from the rapid development of infrastructure in Indonesia, does not rule out the possibility that the infrastructure built in areas with clay soil types. Given the small carrying capacity of the clay, the soil should be improved in order to support the development of a construction.soil improvement with an additional mixture of rice husk ash and matos as stabilizer can improve soil quality. This research was conducted with rice husk ash mixture of 6%, 8%, 10%, and 12% and matos with level 3,3898% gr. Then, curing for 7 days, 14 days, 21 days, and 28 days without immersion. Soil that used in research is from Sidomulyo, South Lampung is a type of clay soil that belongs to the A-7-5 group based on the AASTHO classification. Research in laboratory showed that 28 days of curing with 12% rice husk ash mixture had the highest CBR value from other curing durations. Soil clay CBR value increased from 7.3% to 31.8%. This shows that the ash mixture of rice husk and matos is quite effective in increasing the carrying capacity of clay soil. Keywords : Matos, CBR, Rice Husk Ash

Abstract

Batu Ketulis merupakan kecamatanyang berada di Kabupaten Lampung Barat, provinsi Lampung. Lampung Barat adalah salah satu daerah di Lampung yang memiliki potensi rawan longsor. Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilai faktor aman lereng dan menghitung stabilitas lereng menggunakan Bronjong untuk menahan daya dukung tanah agar aman dan tidak longsor, yang dihitung menggunakan program komputasi dengan metode fellenius, bishop dengan kondisi muka air tanah jenuh, jenuh sebagian, dan tidak jenuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa parameter tanah berpengaruh terhadap stabilitas lereng, kondisi tanah jenuh penuh memiliki nilai terendah dibandingkan dengan kondisi lainnya. Dari hasil penelitian didapat nilai faktor aman terkecil sebelum penanganan yaitu pada lokasi II dengan elevasi ketinggian 20 m dan sudut kemiringan 30° ,35° ,40° sebesar 1,074, 1,023, 1,008 pada kondisi muka air tanah jenuh penuh. Pada kondisi lerengsetelah penanganan menggunakan bronjong didapat nilai sebesar 2,462, 2,303, 2,223 untuk metode Fellenius, sedangkan untuk metode Bishop sebesar 2,12, 2,006, 1,95.Penangananmenggunakan bronjong cukup efektif terhadap meningkatnya faktor aman sehingga penanganan longsor menggunakan bronjong cukup stabil jika diterapkan di lokasi penelitian.

Abstract

This research conducted to study the characteristics of daily rainfall and model making ofsynthetic daily rainfall in Pringsewu regency using periodic model, stochastic model and periodicstochastic models. This research conducted using daily rainfall data with length of 1984-2013from three rainfall stations, Pringsewu, Wonokriyo and Banyuwangi rainfall stations.These models performed by using 512 days annual data. Using rainfall frequency obtained andapplying the spectral method and the least squares method, it can be generated the daily rainfallperiodic models. Rainfall stochastic model assumed as the difference between rainfall data withperiodic rainfall models. Based on data from the series of stochastic, the component wascalculated using the approach of autoregressive models. Stochastic model was presented by usingthe autoregressive model of order three. Periodic stochastic model obtained by merging periodicmodel and stochastic model. Model validation and data obtained by calculating the correlationcoefficient. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that daily rainfall time seriescan be very significantly approximately recorded rainfall data. With the the average value ofcoefficient correlation of periodic model is 0.98019, coefficient correlation of stochastic model is0.99808, and coefficient correlation stochastic of periodic model is 0.99993keywords: daily rainfall, autoregresif models, stochastic component.

Abstract

Data pasang surut diperlukan untuk menentukan elevasi bangunan pantai. Badan Informasi Geospasial (BIG) telah menyediakan data pemodelan pasang surut yang dapat diunduh secara gratis. Namun untuk mengetahui keakuratannya, dilakukan perbandingan data BIG dengan data pengukuran tide gauge yang dipublikasikan oleh University of Hawaii Sea Level Centre (UHSLC). Data yang digunakan yaitu data pasang surut 30 harian dari stasiun Tanjung Lesung periode waktu 2008-2012 yang dianalisis menggunakan metode Least Squares dan 9 komponen harmonik pasang surut melalui program ANFOR. Hasil analisis ANFOR diolah sehingga didapat nilai penyimpangan serta keakuratan dari data pasang surut yang dibandingkan. Dari hasil penelitian ini, didapat nilai penyimpangan berdasarkan elevasi yaitu 3,3906 %, nilai koefisien korelasi langsung berdasarkan elevasi sebesar 0,9673, nilai penyimpangan berdasarkan amplitudo komponen pasut K1 sebesar 15,7853 %, O1 sebesar 4,8253 %, P1sebesar 28,1752 %, M2 sebesar 3,2388 %, S2 sebesar 10,6345 %, N2 sebesar 10,5147 %, K2 sebesar 41,3055 %, M4sebesar 97,4340 %, dan MS4 sebesar 97,2310 %, sementara nilai koefisien korelasi berdasarkan amplitudo komponen pasut yaitu 0,9898. Maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa antara data pemodelan BIG dan data pengukuran UHSLC memiliki tingkat keakuratan tinggi.
