Abstract

Introduction: In today's dynamic era, tight competition urges a comprehensive analysis of company success factors with an emphasis on high-quality human resources, employee performance, religiosity, and workplace location's impact on performance. Methods: This explanatory research uses a quantitative approach, surveying 259 urban Muslim employees in Indonesia and Malaysia online from May to August 2023 via random sampling and SEM analysis. Results: Using WarpPLS, this study found that work location significantly affects both religiosity and Islamic work performance, confirming H1 with a coefficient of 0.502 (p-value <0.001) and H2 with a coefficient of 0.573 (p-value <0.001). However, H3 is rejected, as religiosity does not significantly affect Islamic work performance (coefficient 0.082, p-value 0.245). Conclusion and suggestion: Work location significantly affects employee religiosity and Islamic work performance, with urban and closer locations enhancing these aspects. However, religiosity does not directly impact performance, indicating a complex relationship. Managers should consider location in recruitment, support religious practices, and investigate these dynamics while integrating religious values in training programs.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the welfare of mustahik through the BAZNAS program in Mojokerto Regency from the perspective of Maqashid Sharia, and to examine the role of BAZNAS Mojokerto Regency in greater depth. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Observations, interviews, document analysis, annual reports, and literature reviews were conducted to validate the implementation of the BAZNAS program in Mojokerto Regency. The results show that BAZNAS Mojokerto Regency has made significant efforts in distributing zakat funds for the welfare of the community. However, there are several challenges related to the efficiency of fund management and distribution, which affect the optimal achievement of Maqashid Sharia goals. This study provides recommendations for more transparent and efficient zakat management, as well as enhanced coordination among stakeholders to achieve better community welfare outcomes. This research offers a new perspective in evaluating community welfare achievement through the Maqashid Sharia criteria in the BAZNAS Mojokerto Regency program.

Abstract

Abstract The use of waqf instruments to solve social and economic problems provides an opportunity to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic. This article aims to analyze the use of waqf in Mandiri Waqf during the Covid-19 pandemic and its compatibility with the concept of maqashid sharia. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research was conducted by direct interviews with waqf institutions and supported by secondary data obtained from various sources. The results of the study show that in the perspective of maqashid sharia, the utilization of waqf in independent waqf is in line with the objective of waqf, namely that the principal assets of waqf must be maintained so that the benefits can be taken in the long term. The waqf program run by institutions during the pandemic can be divided into three according to the concept of the needs of Maqashid Syariah Imam As-Syatibi, namely dharuriyah, hajiyah, and tahsiniyah. Keywords: Waqf utilization; Maqashid sharia; Pandemicontent Abstrak Pemanfaatan instrumen wakaf untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan sosial dan ekonomi memberi peluang untuk menangani pandemi Covid-19. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis pemanfaatan wakaf di Wakaf Mandiri pada masa pandemi Covid-19 dan kesesuaiannya dengan konsep maqashid syariah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan dengan wawancara langsung kepada pihak lembaga wakaf serta didukung data sekunder yang diperoleh dari berbagai sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam perspektif maqashid syariah, pendayagunaan wakaf di Wakaf Mandiri telah sesuai dengan tujuan wakaf yakni dimana harta pokok wakaf harus dijaga agar dapat diambil manfaatnya dalam jangka panjang. Program wakaf yang dijalankan oleh lembaga pada masa pandemi dapat dibagi menjadi tiga sesuai konsep kebutuhan pada Maqashid Syariah Imam As-Syatibi, yaitu dharuriyah, hajiyah, dan tahsiniyah. Abstract

Islam is a complete and perfect religion as well. It governs human behavior in everything, including aqidah worship and muamalah. One of the muamalah practices is in terms of profit-sharing cooperation in agriculture. Ngalak Paron is a practice of cooperative production sharing in agriculture between landowners and sharecroppers with revenue sharing according to the agreement of both parties. In practice, Ngalak Paron is the same as a mukhabarah contract, where capital or seeds come from sharecroppers. This research was conducted with the aim of determining whether the practice of Ngalak Paron is in accordance with the Islamic economy. This study used descriptive qualitative research methods, data collection by observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of Ngalak Paron research conducted in Gunung Sereng Village have fulfilled the pillars and requirements of the mukhabarah contract so that the practice of Ngalak Paron carried out is in accordance with Islamic Law, so that the practice of Ngalak Paron using the mukhabarah contract can be carried out.Keywords: Ngalak Paron, Mukhabarah, Islamic Law Abstrak Islam adalah agama yang lengkap dan sempurna juga. Yang mengatur perilaku manusia dalam segala hal, termasuk aqidah, ibadah dan muamalah. Salah satu dari praktik muamalah yaitu dalam hal kerja sama bagi hasil di bidang pertanian. Ngalak Paron merupakan praktik kerjasama bagi hasil dalam pertanian antara pemilik lahan dengan petani penggarap dengan pembagian hasil sesuai kesepakatan kedua belah pihak. Dalam praktiknya Ngalak Paron sama dengan akad mukhabarah, dimana modal atau benih berasal dari petani penggarap. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui praktik Ngalak Paron apakah telah sesuai dengan ekonomi syariah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian Ngalak Paron yang dilakukan di Desa Gunung Sereng telah memenuhi rukun dan syarat dari akad mukhabarah sehingga praktik Ngalak Paron yang dilakukan telah sesuai dengan Hukum Islam, sehingga praktik Ngalak Paron menggunakan akad mukhabarah boleh dilakukan. Abstract

This study examines the marketing strategy of salted egg products by Mrs. Luqi in Sidoarjo Regency in the perspective of Islamic business ethics. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the marketing strategy carried out includes aspects of product, price, place, promotion, human resources, process, and physical evidence (7P). This strategy is good enough to fulfill the principles of Islamic business ethics, although there are still obstacles such as the lack of understanding of digital-based marketing and the process of checking product quality. This article recommends increasing understanding of digital technology and maintaining product quality to support business sustainability.

Abstract

Zakat worship has a dual role, namely from a religious and social perspective. From a religious perspective, zakat is the fourth pillar of Islam, while from a social perspective, zakat can provide opportunities such as improving people's welfare and alleviating poverty. Zakat is a solution to achieving economic development fairly and evenly, especially in Muslim countries if it is managed effectively and in accordance with the SDGs. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The data and sources used are primary data and secondary data. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of zakat collected by BAZNAS Surabaya City has been distributed according to the needs of mustahik which refers to the five pillars of the BAZNAS RI program. The utilization of productive zakat in improving the economy can be felt by mustahik with the increasing income of mustahik from the business being run. Distribution and utilization have been optimal because they have increased from year to year. There are SDGs achievements, namely in the Surabaya Berdaya and Surabaya Cerdas programs. The Surabaya Berdaya program has helped alleviate poverty. BAZNAS Surabaya City supports the improvement of human resources through Surabaya Cerdas which provides education costs.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pemasaran syariah yang diterapkan oleh Basocka.id dalam menghadapi persaingan bisnis kaos kaki di Surabaya. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dokumentasi, dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi pemasaran syariah pada Basocka.id sudah berjalan dengan baik melalui penerapan prinsip teistis, etis, realistis, dan humanistis. Namun demikian, terdapat kekurangan dalam optimalisasi promosi digital. Hasil analisis SWOT menunjukkan bahwa Basocka.id berada dalam posisi strategi agresif. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan digital marketing dan branding Islami untuk meningkatkan daya saing. Kata Kunci: Strategi Pemasaran Syariah, Persaingan Bisnis, Basocka.id, SWOT.   Abstract This study aims to analyze the sharia marketing strategy implemented by Basocka.id in facing business competition in the sock industry in Surabaya. Using a qualitative method with a case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, documentation, and triangulation. The results indicate that the implementation of the sharia marketing strategy at Basocka.id has been well-executed through the application of theistic, ethical, realistic, and humanistic principles. However, there is a lack of optimization in digital promotion. The SWOT analysis shows that Basocka.id is positioned in an aggressive strategy. This study recommends strengthening digital marketing and Islamic branding to enhance competitiveness. Keywords: Sharia Marketing Strategy, Business Competition, Basocka.id, SWOT.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh label halal, kepercayaan merek, dan celebrity endorser terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen Muslim pada produk kosmetik Make Over di Jawa Timur. Dengan populasi Muslim yang besar, pemahaman tentang faktor-faktor ini menjadi penting untuk strategi pemasaran yang efektif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi seberapa besar pengaruh ketiga variabel tersebut terhadap keputusan pembelian. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 112 responden. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linier berganda melalui SPSS. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan merek dan celebrity endorser berpengaruh positif terhadap keputusan pembelian, sementara label halal tidak menunjukkan pengaruh. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan bagi perusahaan untuk lebih fokus pada peningkatan kepercayaan konsumen dan pemilihan endorser yang tepat dalam strategi pemasaran mereka.

Abstract

This study explores the role of technology in halal certification using bibliometric analysis. Based on 88 articles from the Scopus database (2014–2024), the research employs tools like Publish or Perish (PoP), Microsoft Excel, and VOSviewer to reveal the intellectual framework of relevant literature. The finding indicates a steady increase in manuscript productivity from 2014-2024 despite a declining citation trend. Journal of Islamic Marketing, Mohd Zabiedy Mohd Sulaiman, Malaysia, and the National Defence of Malaysia emerged as most prolific journal, author, country, and institution that produce the most, respectively, in publishing on the topic. The paper that has influenced other research the most is Rejeb et al.’s integrating the IoT in the halal food supply chain: a systematic literature review and research agenda. Five significant keyword clusters that frequently show up in the 88 articles examined in this study are halal supply chain, consumer behavior towards halal foods, the role of blockchain in the halal industry, the role of information technology in halal cosmetics, and halal logo in food products. This study highlights the increasing integration of technology in halal certification, emphasizing the need for continuous innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and alignment with industry demands to maintain relevance. Additionally, it underscores Malaysia’s leadership in this field while noting the global expansion of halal research, the impact of emerging technologies like blockchain and IoT, and the need for stronger institutional collaboration to enhance transparency, traceability, and market growth.

Abstract

Nahdlatul Ulama' as the largest Islamic organization in Indonesia has a large mass base. The potential of zakat, infaq and shodaqoh (ZIS) funds is also estimated to be directly proportional to the amount of time. Lazisnu as an institution that is part of nahdlatul ulama' has the responsibility to manage these funds, including to collect them. Therefore, the fundrising division is the main focus in this study. One of the lazisnu service offices is Lazisnu Mojokerto Regency. This study aims to determine the performance and evaluation of the fundrising division in Lazisnu Mojokerto Regency by using a qualitative approach through data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study show that Lazisnu Mojokerto Regency in the performance of its fundrising division prioritizes direct fundrising through formation UPZIS and JPZIS, but also continues to carry out indirect fundrising, although not optimally. The performance of the fundrising division still needs to be improved through evaluation and also by setting targets. The tradition of distributing zakat, especially zakat fitra, must also be a spesial focus through understanding and socialization.
