Abstract

This community service activity is motivated by the large amount of waste from bean plants in Tongkok Village, Lahat Regency which has not been used optimally, especially as liquid fertilizer. Waste from the bean plant is disposed of, burned and not used . This causes a high volume of waste and environmental pollution. Therefore, the pkm stkip pgri lubuklinggau team tried to socialize the use of bean plant waste (phaseolus vulgaris, l) as liquid fertilizer in tongkok village. This PKM has been carried out by involving partners, namely the Tongkok village community and is enthusiastically followed. The output target to be achieved by the PKM team is to increase community values ​​and publications. In its implementation, it uses theoretical and practical methods starting from the preparation stage, providing materials and practices for making liquid fertilizer for bean plant waste

Abstract

This study aims to determine student learning outcomes after the STAD learning model is applied The formulation of the problem is, What is the result of student physics learning after following the physics learning dengn Student Teams Achievement (STAD) in class X.2 SMA Negeri 7 Lubuklinggau significantly ?. This study aims to determine the results of student learning on physics learning by using Student Teams Achievement (STAD) learning model in Class X.2 SMA Negeri 7 Lubuklinggau. The research method used is Quasi Eksperimen. Population in this study all students of class X SMA Negeri 7 Lubuklinggau and as sample is class X.2 which amounts to 25 students and taken at random. Data collection is done by using test and observation techniques. Based on the result of post-test analysis of experimental class t test that thitung> ttabel or 1,883> 1,697 thus Ha accepted and H0 in decline concluded that mean of student learning result is significant

Abstract

This research purpose to determine the completeness of physics learning outcomes of class XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Muara Beliti after applying the experiment method. The problem in this study is that there are still many students who get grades below the Minimum Mastery Standard (KKM), which is 67. The type of method in this study uses an experimental method with pre-test and post-test one group design research conducted at SMAN 2 Muara Beliti. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIPA SMAN 2 Muara Beliti. The sample in this study was drawn randomly from a population of three classes, namely class XI MIPA 2, amounting to 30 students. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out through tests. The test result data were analyzed using the t test formula. Statistical test results obtained tcount = 8.544 ttable = 1.699 because tcount> ttable, thus indicating that the hypothesis Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. While the average value in the pre-test 32.83 then in the post-test increased to 77.27. So it can be concluded that the average physics learning outcomes of students after applying the method of experiment is significantly complete.

Abstract

This research titled "Application of Experimental Methods in Physics Learning Class X of Lubuklinggau 3 State Senior High School 2018/2019 Academic Year " The purpose of this study was to determine the completeness of Physics Learning Outcomes of Grade X Students of SMAN 3 Lubuklinggau Academic Year 2018/2019. This type of research is a quasi-experiment carried out without a comparison group or class. The population in this study were all students of class X IPA 3 Lubuklinggau High School, which amounted to 144 students and as a sample of the experimental class were 36 students in class X Science as many as 36 students. sampling in this study was conducted randomly (simple random sampling) by drawing. Data collection is done by written test technique. Student test score data were analyzed using the t-test. Based on the results of hypothesis testing with a significant level of α = 0.05 obtained t_count> t_table = (8.76> 2.00) which means H_0 is rejected and H_a is accepted. So that it can be concluded that the physics learning outcomes of class X IPA 2 students of SMA 3 Lubuklinggau in the 2018/2019 Academic Year after applying the experimental method were significantly completed.

Abstract

This study aims to "Develop Macro Power Point Learning Media Based on Problem Based Laerning on Quantity and Measurement Materials as Learning Resources for Class X Students". Problems in this study 1) How to develop problem-based learning media for power point learning on quantity and measurement material as a learning resource for class X students ?, 2) What are the characteristics of the learning media for power point macro based on problem based learning that has been developed to meet validity and practicality?, 3) How do students respond during learning using power point macro learning media based on problem based laerning ?. The development model used is Borg and Gall. There are 10 stages, namely: potential and problem stages, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product testing, product revision, usage testing, product revision and mass production. The research subjects of class X MIPA SMA AL-IKHLAS Lubuklinggau used purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interview and questionnaire techniques. The validation was carried out to get results in a very good category with a score of 128. The instrumentation used to measure student responses was using a questionnaire. The student response was a limited group and the teacher got a score of 146 in the strongly agree category. The response of the main field testing group was by completing the 6 students' quiz questions based on KKM. For the student response questionnaire the main field testing group got a score of 312 in the strongly agree category. So it can be said that the learning media for power point macro based on problem based learning that has been developed are valid and practical.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a physics based discovery learning (DL) module on the subject of balance and dynamics of rotation which is valid and practical. The problems in this research are 1) how to develop a physics module based on discovery learning (DL) on the subject of balance and rotation dynamics of student in class XI of SMA Negeri 2 reference Muara Beliti. 2) how are the characteristics of the physics module based on discovery learning (DL) to fulfill the goals of validity and practicality on the subject of balance and rotation dynamics of student in class XI SMA Negeri 2 reference muara beliti. The subject in this study were class XI MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 2 reference muara beliti which consisted of 9 students who were taken by purposive sampling technique. The develop of this research uses a four-D model consisting of define, design, develop and dessimination. The data was collected by using a student response questionnaire technique. And validation consists of 3 expert validations, material validation with an assessment of 37 in the good category, language validation with an assessment of 18 in the good category, and media validation with an assessment of 27 in the good category. Validation carried out to get results with an assessment of 82 in the good category. Students responses to the physics module based on discovery learning with an assessment of 33 in the very good category. So it can be said that the physics module based on discovery learning thet has been developed is valid and pratical

Abstract

Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Desa tanah periuk, Kabupaten Musi Rawas dengan target sasaran masyarakat Desa tanah periuk. Sebagian besar masyarakat Desa tanah periuk bahkan setiap rumah memiliki ternak hewan berupa sapi, oleh sebab itu dipandang sangat tepat jika dosen melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Desa tanah periuk. Mengingat banyaknya ternak sapi di daerah tersebut TIM mengajak masyarakat setempat untuk mengelola kotaran sapi menjadi bahan bakar biogas. Kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat setempat akan pemanfaatan limbah kotoran sapi ini, membuat TIM tertarik untuk menerapkan teknologi tepat guna dalam memanfaatkan limbah kotoran sapi sebagai sumber energi alternatif yaitu biogas. Dengan adanya biogas diharapkan masyarakat tidak tergantung lagi pada elpiji mengingat pasokan energi saat ini semakin berkurang selain itu jika dibandingkan dengan elpiji penggunaan biogas dapat lebih menghemat pengeluaran karena mengingat harga elpiji pada saat ini yang semakin meningkat, maka diharapkan masyarakat dapat memanfaatkan energi terbarukan berupa biogas tersebut. Adapun metode yang TIM gunakan adalah metode sosialisasi dan diskusi tentang cara pembuatan biogas dari limbah kotoran sapi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari PKM ini adalah masyarakat Desa Tanah Periuk bisa membuat reaktor beserta Biogas, selain itu pengetahuan masyarakat juga meningkat.

Abstract

Desa Marga Tani kecamatan Jayaloka kabupaten Musi Rawas terletak di provinsi Sumatera Selatan yang mayoritas penduduk di sekitar tempat ini memiliki mata pencarian 75% sebagai petani dan memiliki komoditas perkebunan berupa tanaman sawit. Potensi tanaman sawit di wilayah ini sangat mendukung dan di daerah sekitar kecamatan Jayaloka ini terdapat juga pabrik pengolahan sawit, yang mana sawit ini nantinya diolah menjadi minyak goreng. Kelangkaan minyak goreng yang terjadi dalam kurun waktu 7 bulan terakhir ini membuat masyarakat sulit untuk mendapatkan minyak goreng, dan minyak curah yang di subsidi pemerintah pun menjadi langka. Masyarakat akhirnya memenuhi kebutuhan memasak sehari-hari menggunakan minyak goreng yang telah digunakan berulang-ulang. Padahal daerah ini komoditas utamanya adalah sawit yang bila diolah dengan baik maka akan menghasilkan minyak goreng. Edukasi masyarakat di desa ini mengenai penggunaan minyak goreng yang berulang-ulang dapat berbahaya bagi kesehatan masih minim. Padahal apabila dimanfaatkan dengan baik minyak jelantah akan menjadi produk yang tepat guna dan menjadi salah satu alternatif mengatasi kelangkaan jenis BBM saat ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PKM ini adalah sosialisasi dan pelatihan. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh masyarakat desa Marga Tani dapat mengolah sendiri minyak jelantah menjadi biodiesel, selain itu pengetahuan masyarakat menjadi meningkat tentang cara pengolahan biodiesel.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to produce bioethanol from cassava and determine the yield of fermentation, a crop of distillation, and analysis of the amount of bioethanol paid per kilogram of cassava. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The results showed that the distillation process was carried out three times, and the average was taken as a sample of 0.59 liters. In conclusion, based on the results obtained from the fermentation of 66.34%, distillation yield of 2.78%, and bioethanol per kilogram of cassava, as much as 0.098 liters/kg. Abstract

This program aims to help the people of Pasenan Village to be able to make a simple distillation device, which is used by residents to convert patchouli plants into essential oils. Most of the residents of Pasenan have gardens planted with patchouli plants, but local residents have not done the conversion of patchouli plants into essential oil. The limited knowledge of the community about the patchouli distillation process is one of the obstacles faced by the community. Patchouli plants are only dried and sold directly to collectors. The condition of the people of Pasenan Village, STL Ulu Terawas Subdistrict, most of whom do not know the selling value of patchouli if it is processed into essential oil, so it is necessary to update information on science and technology, namely by holding socialization and training on the use of patchouli distillation tools into essential oils. The implementation stages in this PKM are the preparation stage, the training/socialization stage, the design and manufacture stage of the distillation apparatus, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The target in this training is patchouli farmers in Pasenan village. The instrument used in this PKM is a knowledge and skills questionnaire. From the analysis of the results of the knowledge questionnaire, the average value of knowledge was 86, 7 in the "Very Good" category and skills of 82,3 with the "Very Good" category.
