Abstract

Ngalup.co is the company engaged in creative industry area. Ngalup.co found that there are several processes that are not carried out according to the procedure, so that it's implemented inappropriately. Indications that occur are booking hall events that took a long time and needs a lot of resources, so that the process business often missed. Based on the indication problems, this study was conducted to evaluate business processes and to analyze the potential problem and the root of problem that occurs in business process at Ngalup.co and then given the recommendation for improvement of business process. This study uses Business Process Modeling and Notation (BPMN) diagram and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis method (FMEA) to analyze and evaluate business process, and Business Improvement Method (BPI) to do improvement. From the results of simulations carried out in the current business process (as is) and business process recommendation (to be), found out that an increase in time analysis reached 12.39% on booking hall events, 4.07% on event implementation, and 6.49% on event evaluation. Beside that, an increase on resource analysis also done with the highest increase 34.54% done by the customer in the event hall ordering business process, 16.44% by community host in the event hall ordering business process, and 8.86% by event manager in the event evaluation business process.

Abstract

Unit Pengembangan Bahasa (UPB) is an institution business unit of Universitas Brawijaya has a function in the field of the TOEFL Test. In carrying out the business process has several obstacles, like processes carried out manually and there are also online, making many activities with the same purpose repeated, services that are less than optimal, complicated activities make the time taken longer. Therefore, analysis and evaluation is needed to help and accelerate business processes in order to run more effectively and efficiently. This research begins with analysis business process primary and business process second of TOEFL test service, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) a method for analyzing the root causes and potential in business processes as a evaluation business process. Business Process Improvement (BPI) to get business process recommendations. Then there will be a simulation of validation and time analysis for current business processes (as is) and recommendations (to be), the results of current business process analysis will be compared with business process recommendations. from the 5 current sub-business processes and recommendations found the highest time effectiveness in the business process of the TOEFL test implementation to 72.32% and the lowest time effectiveness in the business process results and TOEFL test certificates up to 4.95%. So that business processes can be concluded. recommendations can improve performance better.

Abstract

PT Freeport Indonesia is an affiliate company of Freeport-McMoRan, which engaged in mining. In the procurement of company goods, PT Freeport Indonesia has a process called ORAS. ORAS or Online Requisition is a custom application to facilitate the requisition and reservation process from a material in PT Freeport Indonesia warehouse. But there are problems in the process of ordering goods in the reservation or requisition such as, input the wrong cost code allocation by employees that are not in accordance with the appropriate departments, late buyers in taking goods in warehouses and other problems that can be found if the evaluation is done. Therefore, is necessary to analyze and evaluate to find out the problems that exist in the current business process and the improvement of business processes based on the results of the evaluation. Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) is used to evaluate business process, then recommendations for improving business processes using the Business Process Improvement (BPI) method with streamlining tool. The duration of completion is faster up to 11.21% for reservation business processes and 4.87% for the Requisition business process. The duration of completion is slower up to 30.38% in the ordering business process at ORAS and 20.24% in the Bid Requisition business process.

Abstract

The role of the workforce as Human Resources (HR) that runs operational tasks within the company has an important role in the success of the company. To get a competent workforce it is necessary to conduct an assessment process for the workforce to be appointed as permanent employees in a company. It is also applied by one of the companies in the field of express courier and logistics PT. Tiki Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir or commonly known as JNE. To reduce subjectivity in the assessment process it is necessary to give weighting to each criterion to be used in the assessment process. Analytical Hierarchy Process - Technic for Preference Order by Similarity to Ideal Solution method is one of the combined methods that can help to support decisions in recommending employees. Where AHP is applied to look for priority weights criteria and TOPSIS is applied to rank alternative employees. Accuracy testing is done by using comparison criteria data provided by JNE. The test data used is data from employee recommendations in 2017 as many as 33 employee recommendation data. The results of accuracy testing conducted found that the system's accuracy rate was 69% for permanent employee recommendations, 50% for contract extension, and 80% for contract termination recommendations. In the system acceptance test using the SUS method the value obtained is 80 which in the range of values is the range of "acceptable" values in the SUS scale

Abstract

PT. Indosat Ooredoo is one of the telecommunications service providers in Indonesia. To support the smooth running of services, of course, better management of server space is needed. Servers that can be submitted are a very vital part of telecommunication network activity. In the Engineering Division, there are several problems that occur in the business process at PT. Surabaya Indosat Ooredoo. One of them, the Engineering Division does not yet have the resources that are capable of managing the server properly. Data collection activities on each rack and server device still use manual techniques using Microsoft Word and the Sketchup application. Based on the description of the importance above, it is necessary to improve the data collection business processes and device servers and by building a data collection information system and server devices. To develop an information system, the researcher uses one method, namely the Waterfall Model. In the Waterfall Model method 4 phase definitions, systems and software design are needed, implementation and unit testing and integration and unit testing. In the requirements analysis until the design of the researcher uses the Object Oriented Design and Analysis (OOAD) method to overcome errors in determining the user needs needed by the system. After the requirements analysis and design are carried out next, testing on the implementation of information systems rack data collection and server devices using functional and nonfunctional testing. On functional testing using a validation test with 18 functional requirements with results, 100% valid and nonfunctional tests using the browser compatibility validation test using SortSite software. The reported test results have 2 critical problems in Firefox browser version 63 and chrome version 70.

Abstract

Dinas Pendidikan Kota Malang is a government agency responsible for the education sector in Malang City and has several fields. One of them is the division of Pembinaan Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan (PTK). In carrying out its business processes there were several problems that cause the quality of services provided to clients was not good, due to repeated activities, activities that require a long time and input processes that ware not in accordance with the requirements. Therefore a business process evaluation was needed using the Quality Evaluation Framework (QEF) method which was modeled using IDEF0 to model the functional process and IDEF3 to model the current sequence of business processes. The entire evaluation of business processes produced 6 quality factors that were not in accordance with the targets determined by stakeholders. This indicated a gap between targets and ongoing performance. The results of evaluating the quality factor mismatch will find the root of the problems using fishbone analysis. It can be concluded that the emergence of discrepancies was caused by repeated activities and input processes that were not in accordance with the provisions.

Abstract

Do data collection when entering working world is sould be done in every study program. The graduate that can get the corresponding job with areas of expertise wich are owned can help study program to get the relevan suggestion. Not only that, but every study program also be accused to have good accreditation. One of parameter accreditation rating is follow up the graduate tracking. but the big case is almous data is hard file, so need more procces to get the data. In fact the proccess to get the data is longer. To solve this problem is need one best sistem that can doing the data while classify the management data of graduate. Rational Unified Proccess (RUP) is development method sistem that chosen, because on this all changed controll proccess can do in every step. So make it easy to correct fastly n have a good dokumentation. RUP have some stage, such as inception, elaboration, construction and transition. Testing proccess sistem is doing with some method. such as blackbox testing, compatibility testing serta user acceptance testing. The result of test UAT get score 90% from all the graduate that traying this sistem. The system that has been worked on is able to answer the data collection problems experienced by FILKOM's students. so data collection becomes easier. the conclution is tracer information sistem is received well by sistem user.

Abstract

Islam Aisyiyah Hospital Malang is the one of private hospitals that acccepted inpatient and outpatient BPJS services. The business process of outpatient BPJS patient services Islam Aisyiyah Hospital is a service for BPJS patients by providing examinations and medication in one day without hospitalization. The BPJS outpatient services can be done in two ways, through the UGD if the patient condition emergency and through the Polispesialis if the patient is referral from a clinic or health centre. During the implementation of the BPJS outpatient services there were still problems about the detection of the referral number, the poly destination, and the patient's hospital destination in the referral letter at BPJS application and the patient's file was exchanged during the registration process. Based on these problems, it is necessary to evaluate business processes using Quality Evaluation Framework (QEF) to knows the suitability of achieving the company's by the business processes that have been modeled using Business Process Modeling and Notation (BPMN). The next step is to find the root problems with Fishbone Analysis. After that, the next step is to improve business processes using ESIA techniques (Eliminate, Simplify, Integrate, and Automation). And then, the results of business process simulation the outpatient services of BPJS at Polispesialis increased by 16.69% and at the UGD the Islam Aisyiyah Hospital increased by 4.01%.

Abstract

PT Tirta Investama (AQUA) Pandaan is a company engaged in the production of Bottled Drinking Water. PT Tirta Investama (AQUA) Pandaan produces a variety of products, ranging from 220 ML, 600 ML, 1500 ML, 5 Gallon and Mizone packages. Manufacturing Area 3 (SRIKANDI) is one of the manufacturing divisions at PT Tirta Investama (AQUA) Pandaan that produces 220 ML bottled water. In carrying out the 220 ML packaging production process, there are problems that occur which cause the results of the business process to be carried out not in accordance with the expected targets and can affect the production business process in manufacturing area 3 (SRIKANDI). Based on these problems, it is necessary to conduct an evaluation of the current business processes by identifying current business processes using the Value Chain Analysis method to map the main activities and supporting activities, then determine the quality factors that exist and perform calculations at all quality factors by using the Quality Evaluation Framework (QEF). Then look for the root problem in quality factors that are not in accordance with method 5 Why Analysis. The evaluation results obtained obtained 4 quality factors that were not appropriate, namely in Q5, Q8, Q11 and Q12. The results of these quality factors become problems that can affect the production business processes that are applied.

Abstract

Tirta Investama Company (AQUA) Pandaan is a company that manufactures in the bottling of drinking water. In the process of drinking mineral water production, this company produces some brands in various kinds of the size, such as AQUA 5 Galloon, AQUA 220 ml, Mizone 500 ml, AQUA 600 ml, and AQUA 1500 ml. Manufacturing Area 4 (SHINTA) has cooperated with a manufacturing division which focuses on producing AQUA 600 ml. In the production process of AQUA 600 ml, it often experiences the achievement of activities that are not in accordance with the target of the company which can cause the achievement of production targets to go up and down based on the OE (Operational Efficiency) indicator on the PRS (Production Reporting System) information system. Based on these problems, it is necessary to evaluate the current production business processes. The first step is identifying business processes using the Value Chain Analysis method and modeling using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). The result will be an evaluation of the production business process using the Quality Evaluation Framework (QEF) method and known 16 quality factors with 4 quality factors that are not in accordance with the target company. The incompatibility of quality factors will be analyzed using the Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) method to find the root cause of the problem. FTA results from a quality factor mismatch are the skills of operators in recognizing the condition of machine parts differently and the level of product standards is higher.
