Abstract

Model pembelajaran LOK-R adalah model pembelajaran berbasis literasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai proses pembelajaran matematika siswa kelas 8 menggunakan model pembelajaran LOK-R berbasis E-Modul pada materi SPLDV, literasi matematika kategori tinggi, sedang, dan rendah setelah diterapkan LOK-R, serta dapat mendeskrpsikan tanggapan siswa setelah pengalikasian LOK-R terhadap literasi matematika mereka. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan adalah siswa SMP kelas 8. Pengambilan data menggunakan cara Purposive Sampling. Data penelitian yang diperoleh berupa data tes tertulis, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan Kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran LOK-R berbasis E-Modul, nampak literasi matematika siswa berkategori tinggi memenuhi 3 indikator literasi matematika, siswa berkategori sedang memenuhi 2 indikator literasi matematika, dan siswa berkategori rendah memenuhi 1 indikator literasi matematika.

Abstract

Scientific publication is one of the activities that teachers must carry out in continuous professional development activities as a condition for promotion to functional positions. Therefore, it is important for teachers to be able to publish their scientific work in OJS-based national journals. The aim of the training by the Mathematics Education Study Program service team at Universitas Islam Sultan Agung is to increase the professionalism of teachers at SD N 02 Tambakrejo Gayamsari through the publication of scientific works in OJS-based national journals. The output of service activities is that the teachers of SD N 02 Tambakrejo Gayamsari have the ability to publish scientific works in OJS-based national journals so that later they can increase the teacher's credit score for promotion to functional positions. Activities were carried out offline at SD N 02 Tambakrejo Gayamsari. The training implementation method includes lectures, demonstrations, questions and answers, practice and assistance to teachers at SD N 02 Tambakrejo Gayamsari in the process of publishing scientific articles in OJS-based national journals. Training participants actively participated in activities from start to finish and participants gave positive responses to the implementation of service activities.

Abstract

Creating a supportive learning environment through psychological well-being is an important indicator in achieving true happiness in the learning process, and also through project-based learning so that it plays an important role in the learning environment and the results are very real. The aim of this research is to produce the LE-Probale model syntax. The learning model components used adopt Joyce and Weil. The quality of the product developed is evaluated based on product development evaluations developed by Plomp and Neeven, which include validity by validators, practicality and effectiveness of field trials by observers. The realization of the model syntax consists of ten stages, namely: 1) Preparing an adequate learning environment; 2) Delivery of learning objectives; 3) Selecting learning materials and determining topics that students must study inductively (from examples then generalizing); 4) Meaningful understanding is linked to everyday life; 5) Provide trigger questions to observe and solve; 6) Group formation; 7) Design and complete projects related to other subjects with the help of Nila's Islamic Edumath Interactive Mobile Learning; 8) Rearrange and compare representations of project results; 9) Evaluate the resulting projects; 10) Teacher and student reflection to look back at the learning that has taken place.

Abstract

Students that possess mathematical literacy are better able to identify, use, and interpret to solve difficulties in their daily lives. Students' mathematical literacy still needs to be improved, particularly in the areas of space and shape, according to the findings of the PISA survey conducted in Indonesia and observations made at SMA Negeri 10 Semarang. Metacognitive awareness, or students' capacity to successfully plan, monitor, and assess their problem-solving techniques, is one element that contributes to the development of mathematical literacy. Nevertheless, in the context of Indonesian mathematical literacy, this component is still hardly ever thoroughly examined. The purpose of this study is to explore students' mathematical literacy as they work with space-related PISA questions and shape content while taking into account their degree of metacognitive awareness. A descriptive qualitative methodology is employed, and data is gathered via expert-validated questionnaires, mathematics literacy assessments, and interviews. Reducing data, presenting data, and writing conclusions are all steps in the data analysis process.26 students from class X-3 at SMA Negeri 10 Semarang served as the study's subjects. They were divided into three groups low, medium, and high according to the answers to the metacognitive awareness questionnaire. The findings demonstrated that 15.38% of students with low metacognitive awareness could only complete one mathematical literacy test, which is problem formulation. Two indicators creating problems and employing concepts were met by students with moderate metacognitive awareness (65.38%). Formulating, employing, and understanding mathematical concepts were the three markers that students with high metacognitive awareness (19.23%) were able to meet simultaneously. This study confirms the importance of metacognitive awareness in improving mathematical literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze mathematical literacy through the Pull-Out Photo Math Box based on augmented reality technology in deaf students. The approach used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subjects consist of eight deaf students in grade IV at SLB Negeri Semarang, with three students representing different levels of mathematical literacy. The subjects were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through mathematical literacy tests, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that mathematics learning on plane figures through the Pull-Out Photo Math Box based on augmented reality technology enhances students' mathematical literacy. High-category students are able to meet three indicators of mathematical literacy, medium-category students meet two indicators, while low-category students meet only one indicator. Additionally, all students across the high, medium, and low categories found that learning using the Pull-Out Photo Math Box based on augmented reality technology was an engaging and useful visual medium for understanding plane figures. This study contributes to the field of mathematics education by demonstrating the effectiveness of augmented reality-based learning tools in improving mathematical literacy among deaf students. The findings highlight the potential of innovative visual media in making mathematical concepts more accessible and engaging for students with special needs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi miskonsepsi yang dialami peserta didik melalui jawaban yang mereka berikan, serta menemukan solusi yang tepat untuk mengatasi miskonsepsi tersebut. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 5 peserta didik yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes tertulis dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa miskonsepsi yang dialami peserta didik umumnya berkaitan dengan bahasa, di mana mereka mengaku memahami soal, tetapi tidak dapat mengaplikasikan dengan benar dalam jawaban. Peserta didik yang memberikan jawaban salah mengalami miskonsepsi dalam hal bahasa, notasi, penggeneralisasian, serta penerapan aturan yang keliru. Faktor penyebab miskonsepsi antara lain kurang teliti dan fokus dalam membaca soal, kesulitan mengikuti instruksi, serta ketidakpahaman terhadap materi yang diajarkan di kelas, seperti rumus operasi bilangan berpangkat. Selain itu, peserta didik juga kurang memahami cara yang tepat untuk menyelesaikan soal, atau salah dalam mengingat dan mengaplikasikan rumus yang benar. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar peserta didik lebih berhati-hati dalam membaca soal dan lebih memahami instruksi yang diberikan.

Abstract

Women, especially housewives, are agents of change within their families and communities. Therefore, women's empowerment is crucial to supporting improved family well-being. One way to empower women is through providing them with skills to process leftover rice into delicious, nutritious, and economically valuable meals. This community service activity, conducted by a team of lecturers and students from Sultan Agung Islamic University, took the form of training. Participants were housewives and young women in the Genuk sub-district of Semarang City. The training, which utilizes leftover rice to create delicious and nutritious meals, has proven effective in increasing the knowledge, skills, and awareness of Family Welfare Movement (PKK) women regarding the importance of food waste management. This activity also opens up creative business opportunities based on household food and supports sustainable women's empowerment. Abstract

GeoGebra memberikan sarana bagi guru untuk berinovasi dalam pembelajaran matematika. Salah satu inovasi yang dapat dikreasi oleh guru adalah elektronik Lembar Kerja Siswa (e-LKS). Tujuan pendampingan guru dalam membuat e-LKS berbantuan GeoGebra untuk meningkatkan pemahaman matematika siswa dalam bentuk pelatihan dengan pendekatan edukatif. Metode: Peserta kegiatan pengabdian adalah guru SMP Islam Sudirman Susukan Kabupaten Semarang yang berjumlah 11 orang. Tahapan kegiatan ini antara lain: melakukan perijinan, menentukan tempat dan tanggal pelaksanaan, menyiapkan bahan, melaksanakan pelatihan, dan evaluasi. Pengambilan data pada kegiatan ini meliputi observasi, dan kuesioner. Hasil: Hasil kegiatan adanya respon yang positif dari guru-guru tentang materi, narasumber, suasana pelatihan, dan dampak yang ditimbulkan. Kegiatan lanjutan sangat diharapkan dari guru-guru. Pembuatan e-LKS berbasis GeoGebra sangat dibutuhkan untuk guru.

Abstract

Mathematical literacy plays a vital role in daily life, particularly in identifying, reasoning, communicating, problem-solving, and representing mathematical ideas in real contexts. However, for students with intellectual disabilities, developing mathematical literacy remains a significant challenge. To address this issue, innovative scaffolding through interactive and visual media is required. This study aims to develop NEIMoL media assisted by Augmented Reality (AR) that meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness in improving mathematical literacy among students with intellectual disabilities. The research employed Plomp’s (1997) development model, which includes five stages: initial investigation, design, realization, testing and revision, and implementation. Data were collected through expert validation, observations, interviews, questionnaires, and mathematical literacy tests. Instruments included expert validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and pre-test and post-test assessments. The validation results showed the media to be “Very Valid” with an average score of 4.1 (on a scale of 5). Practicality was rated positively, with a score of 3.7, and both teachers and students expressed favorable responses. Effectiveness was demonstrated through an N-Gain score of 0.7175, categorized as high improvement. These findings indicate that AR-assisted NEIMoL media is valid, practical, and effective in supporting the mathematical literacy of students with intellectual disabilities.
