Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to analyze and prove the role of intellectual capital against implementation of new public management in enhancing public sector managerial performance.  The research was carried out at the Cimahi local government.  The number of respondent was 258 employees from 42 working units.  The research method used is purposive sampling. To analyze the data from the respondent is interaction regression.  The research shows that intellectual capital does not affect the relationship between NPM and public sector managerial performance. Abstract

Accrual Government Accounting Standards (SAP) is a government accounting standard that records and acknowledges transaction, at the time the contract of transaction occur, regardless of the receipts or payment of cash and cash equivalents.  The issuence of Government Regulation (PP) no 71 year 2010 concerning SAP revising PP 24 year 2005 concerning SAP, hence both central government and also regional are obliged to apply accrual based accounting during accounting and preparation of financial report.  Based on this, the purpose of this study is to determine what factors affect the succes of the accrual-based SAP application in the units of Bandung State Polytechnic.  This research is conducted by qualitative method with emphasis on interpretive approach.  Data analysis is carried out through three steps, namely: 1) Data collection, 2) Data redustion, 3) Data presentation, and 4) Decesion making or verification.  The result showed that: 1) The environment/condition oriented to the application of accrual accounting is very supportive; 2) existing regulation can be applied without constraints; 3) human resources are competent; 4) software help completion of work; 5) the existing hardware already supports and in accordance with the software; 6) financial statement can be completed and sent on time.Keywords: Success Factor, Accrual Bases, Bandung State Polytechnic

Abstract

Background: The prevalence of colorectal cancer is rising in Asia including Indonesia. Annona muricata tea leaves, that is traditionally used for maintaining health, and lately being used by cancer patients. The objectives of this study is to investigate its effects in human colorectal cancer cell in vitro and ex vivo.Methods: Thirty patients with colorectal cancer (CRC) were enrolled in a randomized double-blind placebo-controlled trial. They were equally divided into two groups: those treated with 300 mg A. muricata leaf extract and placebo daily for 8 weeks. Serum from supplemented CRC patients of both groups was compared for caspase 9 and caspase 8 enhancement activity. Antiproliferative effect of water extract of A. muricata leaves and its fractions were evaluated against colorectal cancer cell line (DLD-1 and COLO 205) compared with 5-fluorouracil and placebo, the dose range was 62.5-2,000 µg/mL. Method used was 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay. Data were analyzed by Mann-Whitney U test. The p value was set at 0.05.Results: Ethanol-soluble fraction of A. muricata leaves extract water extract (ESFAM) leaves extract had cytotoxicity effects on DLD-1 as well as COLO 205 cell line, as shown by the lower IC50 compared to 5-fluorouracil and placebo, 20.59 μg/mL and 654.9μg/mL, respectively. Serum of subjects supplemented with extract significantly induced caspase 9 (p=0.001) activity of DLD-1 colorectal cancer cell line, but not for caspase 8 activity (p=0.372).Conclusion: The study's results suggest the cytotoxicity potential of  A. muricata  leaves extract  in in vitro and ex vivo studies.

Abstract

Traditional remedies have been used by Indonesian people for centuries. One of them which is empirically used as hypnotic sedative is coriandri fructus. The objective of this study was to find out whether cariandri fructus could be used as a sleep medicine by measuring the sleep quality induced. In this study, a true experimental design was employed. Applying a purposive sampling method, 11 apparently healthy adult male fulfilling the inclusion criteria were selected. Each subject was induced to sleep three times, 7.5 hours each and observation through overnight polysomnography was carried out following each treatment. Lorazepam, placebo and coriandri fructus was used to induce the first, second and third sleep respectively. Parameters used in this experiments were Latency to Slow Wave Sleep, Total Time in SWS, and the distribution of SWS.  This study showed that Lorazepam tend to suppress the Latency to SWS compare with the control and Coriandri fructus. There was no SWS deprivation in all groups. Lorazepam tend to suppress SWS on the last 2,5 hours of sleep.

Abstract

The elderly and their caregivers are at higher risk from Coronavirus Disease-2019, particularly for elderly with chronic health conditions. To prevent the transmission of the virus, those elderly issued strict physical distance, restricting most interactions between the elderly and their caregivers. On the other side, caregivers can serve as crucial and trusted partners in the elderly’s care to curb the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Hence, this study aims to analyze the knowledge, attitudes, practices (KAP), and the role of caregivers in providing services to the elderly during the outbreaks. A descriptive quantitative study was conducted from May to June 2020. The survey was utilizing Google Forms in four cities in Indonesia. A total of 317 out of 400 participants had completed the survey. The knowledge of the COVID-19 score was 79.50%, attitude 92.11%, and practice 90.54%. The caregivers’ role in protecting the elderly from COVID’s infection was about 98.42%. They could continue their routine activities during physical distancing 84.54%, treated elderly by not going to the hospital (60.04%), not visited any crowded place, wore masks and washed their hand after activity (87.38%). They agreed that government would finally successfully control COVID-19 (90.22%). This study concluded that the knowledge, attitude, practice and role of caregivers on COVID-19 effectively prevents the caregivers neglecting the elderly during the COVID-19 outbreak. Future information on elderly care need to consider not just the risks of the virus, but also the healthy lifestyle.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how hotel and restaurant taxes affect Kabupaten Garut's regional original income. This kind of study adopts a descriptive methodology and quantitative techniques. Secondary data from. reports on the collection of hotel and restaurant taxes, and local revenue for the 2017–2021 fiscal year is the source of the information used. With the use of SPSS version 26 software, the analysis approach makes use of the traditional assumption..test, multiple regression analysis, and hypothesis..testing. The Regional Original Income is unaffected in part by the Hotel Tax Contribution. However, the simultaneous contribution of the hotel and restaurant taxes has a considerable impact on regional original income. Hotel and.restaurant taxes had an impact on municipal revenue to the extent of 13.7 percent, with the other factors not covered in this study accounting for the remaining 86.3 percent.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze and prove the role of organizational culture and leadership style against employee productivity in local government. The research was carried out at the West Bandung Local Government, by distributing the questionnaires to 27 work unit, each unit for 4 respondences . The distribution of queationnaires was carried out during the 2 month pandemic. The reseach sample is the financial manager and staf in the work unit and the sampling technique uses the purposive sampling method. The data analysis tool used is multiple regresion. The results shows that organizatinal culture and leadership style simultaneously have a pocitive effect on emplyoyee productivity

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Pelayanan keperawatan yang diberikan kepada pasien menghasilkan hasil kerja tercermin pada prestasi kerja perawat, untuk mencapai prestasi kerja yang tinggi ada beberapa persoalan yang dihadapi perawat dalam mewujudkan prestasi kerjanya, banyak faktor yang mempengaruhinya seperti Disiplin Kerja, Lingkungan Kerja untuk mengatasi persoalan tersebut diperlukan langkah perbaikan dengan melakukan penataan pada Disiplin Kerja, Lingkungan Kerja sehingga Prestasi Kerja Perawat dapat terwujud. Adapun tujuan penelitian mengetahui Analisis Hubungan Antara Disiplin Kerja Dan Lingkungan Kerja Dengan Prestasi Kerja Perawat Rawat Inap Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Pontianak Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah non eksperimental dengan analitik cross sectional. Untuk melihat besarnya pengaruh semua variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat. Analisa data menggunakan Regresi Logistik, dengan program komputer. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan alat penelitian berupa kuesioner yang diberikan kepada responden, yaitu perawat rawat inap Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Pontianak. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 46 perawat. Abstract

Latar belakang. Layanan kesehatan yang diberikan pada pasien di rumah sakit mulai saat penerimaan sampai dengan selesai layanan dapat menimbulkan suatu persepsi pasien. Pasien secara sadar dan tidak sadar dalam tahap purna beli (setelah mendapatkan pelayanan kesehatan) akan mengevaluasi mutu pelayanan yang telah didapatkan dari rumah sakit. Persepsi tentang mutu yang buruk akan mempengaruhi keputusan dalam kunjungan berikutnya dan pasien biasanya mencari tempat pelayanan kesehatan yang lain.Tujuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan persepsi pasien terkait tujuh dimensi mutu pelayanan (keamanan pelayanan, patient centeredness, efektivitas pelayanan, efisiensi pelayanan, aksesibilitas pelayanan, ketepatan waktu pelayanan, dan ekuitas pelayanan) dengan minat kunjungan ulang pasien rawat jalan di RSUP Persahabatan tahun 2023 serta dimensi yang paling berhubungann dengan minat kunjungan ulang.Metode. Penelitian dilakukan di RSUP Persahabatan, disain penelitian cross sectional. Jumlah sampel 66 pasien baru di rawat jalan yang dikirimi kuesioner terkait tujuh dimensi mutu pelayanan. Jawaban pertanyaan dalam skala Likert 1-4, dilakukan perhitungan dengan cut off mean menjadi dua kategori jawaban, kemudian dilakukan uji statistik univariat, bivariat chi square untuk melihat hubungan masing-masing dimensi mutu pelayanan dengan minat kunjungan ulang, kemudian dilakukan uji statistik multivariat regresi logistik berganda untuk mendapatkan dimensi yang paling berhubungan dengan minat kunjungan ulang.Hasil. 66 Responden terdiri dari 23 lelaki dan 43 perempuan, usia terbanyak 26 tahun sd 35 tahun, pendidikan terbanyak SLTA/sederajat 33, status terbanyak adalah menikah 47, pekerjaan terbanyak adalah sebagai karyawan swasta 27. Hubungan masing-masing dimensi mutu pelayanan dengan minat kunjungan ulang didapat hasil terdapat hubungan dengan p < 0.05. Dimensi yang paling berhubungan dengan minat kunjungan ulang dengan CI 95% adalah: aksesibilitas pelayanan (R2 61,7%) dan patient centredness (R2 60,2%).Kesimpulan. Terdapat hubungan bermakna antara persepsi pasien terkait mutu pelayanan di rawat jalan dengan minat kunjungan ulang. Dimensi yang paling berhubungan dengan minat kunjungan ulang adalah aksesibilitas pelayanan . Kata kunci: Persepi pasien, Tujuh dimensi kualitas pelayanan, Minat Kunjungan Ulang
