Abstract

The tourism potential in Gerokgak District has a negative impact on social, cultural and environmental impacts. This research aims to identify factors that influence the development of sustainable tourism in Gerokgak District and determine strategies for developing sustainable tourism at tourist attractions in Gerokgak District. The research method used was quantitative using 33 tourism awareness group administrators in Gerokgak District as respondents. The data analysis used is MICMAC and SMICPROB. The results of this research show that the variables in the second quadrant or relay variables have an influential nature but are very dependent, namely natural resource management (psda), employment opportunities (lp), and tourist visits (kw). In the third quadrant or dependent variables which are highly dependent but have little influence, namely people's income. In the fourth quadrant or excluded variables which have little influence and little dependence, namely community participation, waste management, and cultural preservation are factors that influence the development of sustainable tourism in Gerokgak District. Tourism development in Gerokgak District can be carried out with a tourism development strategy with community empowerment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of working capital, labor, and land area on the productivity of traditional salt farmers in Purwakerti Village, both partially and simultaneously. This study uses a quantitative approach with a type of causal research. The population in this study is all salt farmers in Purwakerti Village, with a sample of 31 respondents. The sampling technique used is the saturated sampling method, where the entire population is sampled. The type of data used is quantitative data, with data sources derived from primary and secondary data. Data collection is carried out through the dissemination of questionnaires, documentation, and observation. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with partial (t-test) and simultaneous (F-test) hypothesis testing. The results of the study show that: (1) Working capital has a positive and significant effect on the productivity of salt farmers, (2) Labor has a negative and significant effect on the productivity of salt farmers, (3) Land area has a positive and significant effect on the productivity of salt farmers, and (4) Working capital, labor, and land area simultaneously have a significant effect on the productivity of salt farmers in Purwakerti Village.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the effect of ease of use, (2) usability, (3) and the decision to use E-wallet. The population in this study, namely students of the Faculty of Economics, Ganesha University of Education class of 2024, totaling 756 people. The sampling technique in this study used the proportional random sampling technique with a sample size of 161 people. The data collection method used a questionnaire and was analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. Hypothesis testing used the t-test and F-test which were processed with the help of SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) version 25. The results of the study showed that (1) ease of use had a negative and significant effect on the decision to use E-wallet, (2) usability had a positive and significant effect on the decision to use E-wallet, and (3) ease of use and usability had a positive and significant effect on the decision to use E-wallet. This study provides practical implications for E-wallet application developers to improve service usability but with attention to interface simplicity. The unique findings regarding the negative effect of ease of use indicate the need for a balance between advanced features and ease of operation. For financial institutions and governments, the results of this study can be a reference in formulating digital financial inclusion policies among the younger generation, especially students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the interest in using QRIS as a digital payment system among Gen-Z individuals in Buleleng Regency, as well as to determine the most dominant factor. The research employs a quantitative approach using factor analysis. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 150 Gen-Z respondents residing in Buleleng Regency who had used QRIS at least twice. The results of the analysis reveal that from four main indicators: trust, perceived ease of use, security, and perceived usefulness, one primary factor was formed, referred to as the perception of system reliability. This factor has an eigenvalue of 3.067 and explains 76.675 percent of the variance, indicating a significant contribution to the interest in using QRIS, thus making it the most dominant factor. These findings suggest that Gen-Z evaluates digital payment services holistically based on the reliability of the technology and is more inclined to use systems that are perceived as trustworthy, efficient, secure, and beneficial.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of capital and productivity on fishermen's income in Tejakula District, Buleleng Regency. The subjects of this study were fishermen in Tejakula District, Buleleng Regency, while the objects in this study were capital and productivity. The population tested was 1,034 fishermen with a sample of 91 respondents. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. To analyze the data, this study used SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) version 25, with a multiple linear regression analysis method. The results of this study indicate that partially capital and productivity have a positive and significant effect on fishermen's income. While simultaneously capital and productivity together have a positive and significant effect on fishermen's income in Tejakula District, Buleleng Regency. For further researchers, it is advisable to consider other factors such as work experience, labor, selling price, catch and distance traveled.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness on the use of e-wallets as a payment tool for e-commerce among Generation Z in Singaraja, both partially and simultaneously. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study consists of all Generation Z individuals residing in Singaraja. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling, with sample selection based on certain criteria, namely, Generation Z in Singaraja who are already employed and use e-wallets as a payment tool for e-commerce, with a total sample size of 120 people. Data collection methods utilize questionnaires and are analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. Hypothesis testing employs the t-test and F-test, processed with the aid of SPSS version 25. The research results show that (1) the perception of ease has a positive and significant effect on the use of e-wallets, (2) the perception of benefits has a positive and significant effect on the use of e-wallets, and (3) the perceptions of ease of use and benefits have a positive and significant effect on the use of e-wallets.

Abstract

This study to analyse the effect of income and haoshold consumption on the walfare of milkfish fry pond laborers’ families in Penyabangan Village. As a vulnerebable economy group, it is essensial to understand how income and consumption contribute to their family walfare. The research uses a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires distributed to milkfish fry pond laborers in the area. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The result show that both income and haousehold consumption have a positive and significant effect on family walfare. These finding indicate that increasing income and managing haousehold consumption effectively can improve the welfare of pond laborers’ families in Penyabangan Vilage. This study is expected to provide input for local goverments and stakeholders in formulating policies to support the well baing of pond-based family welfare.

Abstract

This study examined the factors influencing the use of the Indonesian Standard Quick Response Code (QRIS) by merchants Taman Kota Singaraja. The implementation of QRIS is part of the payment system digitalization effort to improve transaction efficiency and financial inclusion, but in practice, adoption rates among merchants still vary. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a phenomenological method. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation involving merchants who are QRIS users, former users, and non-users. Data analysis used NVivo 12 Plus software. The results showed that QRIS use was influenced by perceptions of benefits and ease of use, social influence, and the suitability of QRIS to merchants' operational needs. Conversely, cash transaction habits, technical constraints, and consumers' preference for cash were the main inhibiting factors. The conclusion of this study indicates that the success of QRIS implementation is determined not only by the technological aspect, but also by the merchants' habits and social environment. Therefore, a sustainable and contextual socialization and mentoring strategy is needed to increase QRIS acceptance in the micro-business sector.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of work discipline and work competence on employee performance at the Gerokgak District Office. The population of this study consists of all employees at the Gerokgak District Office. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with a saturated sampling approach, in which all employees are included as respondents. The sample size in this study comprises employees who meet the research criteria. The research method employed is a causal quantitative approach. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires that were tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 21 for Windows. The results indicate that: (1) work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (2) work competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and (3) work discipline and work competence simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Gerokgak District Office. These findings emphasize that the combination of good work discipline and adequate work competence can optimally enhance employee performance.

Abstract

The Sidemen songket weaving industry represents an important part of Bali’s local cultural heritage, carrying significant economic, social, and environmental values; however, it currently faces various sustainability challenges. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing sustainability and to identify the key driving factors of the Sidemen songket weaving industry in Sidemen District, Karangasem Regency. The theoretical framework is based on the concepts of the creative economy, traditional weaving craftsmanship, and industrial sustainability using the Triple Bottom Line approach, which encompasses economic, social, and environmental dimensions. This research employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive-analytical research design. Data were collected through field observations, questionnaire surveys administered to songket weavers, and supporting documentation. The collected data were analyzed using the Matrix of Cross Impact Multiplications Applied to a Classification (MICMAC) method to identify key sustainability variables within the industry system. The findings reveal that artisans’ income, environmental awareness, and cultural awareness are the key variables with the strongest influence on the sustainability of the Sidemen songket weaving industry. In conclusion, the sustainability of the Sidemen songket weaving industry can only be achieved through a balanced integration of economic, social, and environmental aspects, supported by the active roles of artisans, the local community, and sustainable government policie.
