Abstract

This study aims to explore the potential of educational game tools (APE) live story box as an innovative learning media in conveying the story of the Prophet Noah to early childhood. The developed live story box combines elements of story, game, and technology, creating an immersive and interactive learning experience. Using a qualitative approach, through participatory observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews, this study analyzes children's responses to the live story box and identifies its benefits in increasing reading interest, developing imagination, and enriching their understanding of religious values. Data analysis techniques through narrative techniques. The results of the study indicate that the live story box has great potential as an effective Islamic religious learning tool, especially in instilling the values ​​of faith and submission to God. In addition, this study also emphasizes the importance of using media that is contextual and relevant to children's lives in the process of religious learning. These findings can be the basis for developing more interesting and effective religious learning strategies for children.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan modul pembelajaran interaktif Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) mengenai materi Tauhid, khususnya tentang kisah Nabi dan Rasul, guna meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Islam Al Azhar Purwakarta pada tahun pelajaran 2024/2025. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari empat tahapan: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Modul yang dikembangkan memanfaatkan media interaktif seperti video, permainan edukatif, dan tugas kolaboratif untuk mendorong keterlibatan aktif peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam aspek keaktifan, kerjasama, tanggung jawab, dan toleransi peserta didik setelah penerapan modul pada siklus kedua. Tes hasil belajar menunjukkan peningkatan dari 29,4% peserta didik yang mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) pada siklus pertama menjadi 88,24% pada siklus kedua. Selain itu, hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik merasa lebih tertarik, terbantu dalam memahami materi, dan menganggap proses pembelajaran lebih menyenangkan dengan penggunaan modul interaktif ini. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap praktik pengajaran PAI di SMP Islam Al Azhar Purwakarta dan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pengembangan modul pembelajaran interaktif di sekolah-sekolah lain. This study aims to develop and implement an interactive Islamic Education learning module focused on Tauhid material, specifically the stories of Prophets and Messengers, to enhance students’ understanding in grade VIII at SMP Islam Al Azhar Purwakarta during the 2024–2025 academic year. The method used in this research is classroom action research (CAR), which consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The developed module incorporates interactive media such as videos, educational games, and collaborative tasks to encourage active student engagement. The results show a significant increase in students' activeness, cooperation, responsibility, and tolerance after applying the module in the second cycle. Learning test results improved from 29.4% of students meeting the Minimum Mastery Criteria in the first cycle to 88.24% in the second cycle. Additionally, questionnaire results indicate that students became more interested, found the material easier to understand, and perceived the learning process as more enjoyable with the interactive module. This study provides a positive contribution to Islamic education teaching practices at SMP Islam Al Azhar Purwakarta and can serve as a reference for developing interactive learning modules in other schools.

Abstract

Limited technological mastery challenges pre-elderly students participating in online Teacher Professional Education (PPG) programs. This study explores their motivation and obstacles through a mixed research approach. Four key motivational factors were identified: intrinsic, career, social, and economic. These factors drive their decision to pursue further education in teaching. However, technological and digital skill limitations remain significant barriers. Institutional support addresses these challenges such as specialized digital training and mentoring. Such initiatives help students critically reflect on their limitations and shift their perspectives on online learning. Aligning with Jack Mezirow's transformative learning theory, this process emphasizes critical reflection to overcome obstacles and foster perspective changes. Ultimately, this approach enables pre-elderly students to effectively achieve their learning goals, enhancing their contributions to academic and professional communities.

Abstract

Peggunaan media wayang kertas dalam pembelajaran anak usia dini efektif untuk mengembangkan keterampilan sosial seperti simpati, empati, dan toleransi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan ketrampilan sosial pada anak usia dini melalui pembelajaran kisah Khlaifah Utsman bin Affan menggunakan media wayang kertas sebagai sarana pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan pengumpulan data untuk penelitian menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, display atau pemaparan data, dan verivikasi data oleh ahli, dengan subyek penelitian anak usia 5-6 tahun. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi implementasi media wayang kertas dilakukan melalui kegiatan demonstrasi wayang kertas, berkisah, dan diskusi terkait nilai-nilai sosial. Anak-anak diajak berinteraksi langsung menggunakan wayang kertas untuk mengekspresikan sikap berbagi, berteman tanpa membeda-bedakan, dan saling membantu. Interaksi ini mendorong pemahaman terkait keterampilan soisal secara kontekstual dan menyenangkan. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi rujukan bagi pendidik dalam merancang pembelajaran yang mendukung keteramppila sosial anak usia dini

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi media wayang Islami dalam mengembangkan nilai agama dan moral pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif di mana peneliti menyajikan objek atau subjek yang diteliti. Teknik mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini yakni menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang dilakukan adalah berupa hasil temuan data yang telah dikumpulkan oleh peneliti. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa dalam melakukan implementasi media wayang Islami mencakup tiga proses yaitu, analisis alasan penggunaan media wayang Islami, penyesuaian media wayang Islami berdasarkan ciri khas anak, dan implementasi media wayang Islami. Dengan menggunakan cerita interaktif, gambar dan visualisasi tokoh, media wayang Islami berhasil mengembangkan pemahaman nilai agama moral anak sesuai indikator yang diharapkan rata-rata 93,3%. Dengan demikian media wayang Islami dapat menjadi inovasi media pembelajaran dalam mengembangkan nilai agama moral pada anak usia dini.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Kometika, a board game, on media and numeracy literacy, as well as its impact on the learning outcomes of students whose scope is limited to Madrasah Tsanawiyah. There are some problems related to numeracy literacy learning in Islamic schools (madrasahs), some of which are the result of Asesmen Kompetensi Madrasah Indonesia (AKMI) and the low interest in numeracy literacy, which affects the low learning output. The research method employed was a quantitative experiment utilizing treatment-by-level designs. The findings showed that the average scores of students who studied using the Kometika board game media were higher than those of students without the Kometika board game media. The numeracy literacy interest of students who studied using the Kometika board game media was higher than that of those who studied without it. There was an interaction effect between the use of Kometika board game media and students' interest in numeracy literacy in relation to the learning outcomes. This means that Kometika board game media and numeracy literacy interest are interdependent and affect learning outcomes; therefore, support from related stakeholders, such as the head of the madrasah and teachers, is urgently needed. This study makes a significant contribution to the field of educational media and numeracy literacy, particularly within the context of Islamic education institutions. The research expands current pedagogical strategies aimed at improving numeracy skills among Madrasah Tsanawiyah students.

Abstract

This article explores the challenges and existence of madrasah diniyah (Islamicschools), one of Islamic educational institutions, that significantly contributes to thedevelopment of education in Indonesia. Nowadays, madrasah diniyah is classified into two categories, namely: madrasah diniyah takmiliyah (MDT/non-formal Islamic education) and formal diniyah/Islamic education (PDF). The existence of madrasah diniyah, as the entity of Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, has found lots of challenges both externally and internally. Currently, the challenges in this respect are derived from the internal sector (the government/the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Republic of Indonesia). They refer to the government policy of full day school (FDS). This policy is deemed to have negative effects on eroding the existence of madrasah diniyah as the entity of Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. Interestingly, those challenges motivate madrasah diniyah as educational institutions that emphasize social functions to communities, particularly village communities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan sensorik anak di PAUD Harapan Bangsa melalui penggunaan media diorama tiga dimensi yang menggambarkan kisah Nabi Ibrahim AS. Dalam meningkatkan keterampilan sensorik anak media diorama dipilih karena dapat mengintegrasikan pengalaman visual, kinestetik, dan taktil untuk memberikan stimulasi anak yang ideal. Penelitian ini mempergunakan metode kualitatif yang melibatkan observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara melalui sejumlah sumber yang relevan. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwasanya diorama tiga dimensi tidak hanya meningkatkan kemampuan sensorik anak, seperti pengamatan visual dan interaksi fisik, tetapi juga meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang nilai-nilai moral dan religius. Selain itu, terbukti bahwa media diorama ini berfungsi dengan baik untuk membuat lingkungan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, interaktif, serta mempunyai makna. Subjek penelitian adalah anak-anak usia dini yang berada pada lembaga pendidikan anak pada rentang usia 2-4 tahun. Anak-anak melihat, menyentuh, dan mendengar kisah tentang Nabi Ibrahim AS selama proses pelaksanaan. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwasanya media diorama secara signifikan meningkatkan partisipasi anak dalam pelajaran. Anak-anak tampaknya lebih terlibat dan aktif berinteraksi dengan komponen diorama. Stimulasi sensorik, seperti sentuhan pada objek tiga dimensi, pengamatan warna, dan mendengarkan narasi, juga dapat membantu mereka mengingat lebih baik kisah yang diceritakan. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa diorama dari kisah Nabi Ibrahim dapat membantu anak-anak meningkatkan keterampilan sensorik mereka sambil memperkenalkan nilai-nilai keagamaan secara kreatif dan menyenangkan. Media ini dapat menjadi inovasi dalam pendidikan anak usia dini, terutama dalam pendidikan berbasis nilai maupun cerita.

Abstract

The advancement of technology has revolutionized student learning, shifting from traditional textbooks to digital tools, reducing teacher-student interaction, and impacting students’ perspectives and attitudes. Students with extreme religious views sometimes rely more on digital resources than traditional ones. This study examines: i) the effect of learning resources on students’ religious attitudes; ii) the influence of social status on their attitudes; iii) the relationship between students’ motivation for religious learning and their attitudes; and iv) the interaction between diverse learning resources and social status on students’ religious attitudes. Using quantitative methods and multiple regression analysis on data from 1,020 students in Central Java, Indonesia, and employing partial least square (PLS) modeling, the study explores the influence of religious resources, social class, and motivation on students’ views. The findings show that diverse learning resources significantly foster moderate religious attitudes, with social class also playing a pivotal role. Notably, students’ motivation for religious learning mediates the relationship between learning resources and social class in shaping religious attitudes. This study contributes to educational theory by highlighting the role of learning resources in shaping outcomes, social theory by demonstrating how socioeconomic factors influence religious attitudes, and religious theory by exploring the role of digital tools in shaping religious views. These insights provide practical implications for educators in designing effective religious education strategies and promoting moderation in the digital era while emphasizing the importance of face-to-face learning for meaningful dialogue.

Abstract

Masa anak-anak merupakan periode krusial yang menjadi landasan penting dalam membentuk kepribadian. Pada fase ini, pendidikan karakter memegang peran sangat penting dalam membimbing anak-anak untuk memahami nilai moral dan etika yang akan dibawa hingga dewasa. Di era digital saat ini, anak-anak memerlukan role model positif yang dapat menginspirasi perilaku baik mereka. Salah satu tokoh yang patut diteladani adalah Abu Bakar Ash-Shiddiq, sahabat terdekat Rasulullah SAW yang terkenal dengan kejujuran, keberanian, kedermawanan, dan keteguhan imannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengajarkan anak-anak untuk meneladani sifat-sifat mulia Abu Bakar Ash-Shiddiq melalui buku cerita dan media wayang. Kombinasi kedua media ini dipilih karena dapat menyajikan pembelajaran yang holistik dan menarik bagi anak usia dini. Penggunaan buku cerita membantu merangsang imajinasi, sementara wayang sebagai media visual berbasis kearifan lokal membuat pembelajaran lebih interaktif dan mudah dipahami. Penelitian dilaksanakan di TK Tarbiyatul Atfal 04 Kendal pada November 2023 menggunakan metode sejarah dan studi kepustakaan. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perubahan positif pada anak-anak yang menjadi lebih jujur, dermawan, pemberani, bertanggung jawab, serta memahami kisah inspiratif Abu Bakar Ash-Shiddiq dalam kehidupan sehari-hari mereka.
