Abstract

This study aims to think about (1) the planning of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project in Class IV co-curricular activities at SD Ta'mirul Islam Surakarta, (2) its implementation, and (3) evaluation of the products produced. This study uses a case study methodology and is qualitative in nature. The data sources of this study include school principals, IVB class teachers and IVB class students of SD Ta'mirul Islam Surakarta. The subject retrieval technique used in this study is purposive sampling technique. Data collection is carried out by observation techniques, interviews, and document studies. The validity test of data used is the data triangulation technique (source) and the triangulation technique. The data analysis used is qualitative data analysis proposed by Cresswell. The results of this study are as follows: First, P5 planning is contained in a project module that has been designed by modification by the teacher together with a team of facilitators with components that are in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Culture. Second, the implementation of P5 is in accordance with the planned flow in the project module, namely from the stage of introduction, contextualization, action, reflection on action. Third, the evaluation is carried out by teachers on students through an assessment of the development of the dimensions of the Pancasila student profile with the results of reaching the level of development as expected and very developed as well as an assessment of the results of ecoprint products with an average value of 3.58 in the good category. Thus, it can be inferred that P5, a new paradigm in Indonesian education, can be used to cultivate character in accordance with the character dimensions of the Pancasila student profile, but only when P5 activities are conducted.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media diorama terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS 'Tradisi dan Budaya di Sekitar Kita' di kelas IV SD Se-Gugus, Diponegoro, Kabupaten Jaten. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi-eksperimental dan bentuk dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen menggunakan media diorama dan kelompok kontrol menggunakan media PowerPoint. Jenis pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah cluster random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah SD 2 Ngringo, SD 09 Ngringo, dan SD 04 Ngringo. Tes dan dokumentasi merupakan sarana pengumpulan data. Uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji keseimbangan, uji N-Gain, dan uji hipotesis merupakan cara analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai T sebesar 4,587 > T tabel sebesar 0,2319 pada 70 derajat kebebasan, sehingga H₀ ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh pada tahap analisis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif penggunaan media diorama pada materi pelajaran (IPAS) "Tradisi dan Budaya di Sekitar Saya" terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa sekolah dasar Se-Gugus Diponegoro, Kabupaten Jaten.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) describe the planning, (2) implementation and (3) evaluation of the application of differentiated learning in Pancasila education learning related to content strategies, processes, products and learning environments. This research includes descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. The subjects in this research were the homeroom teacher and class IVB students at Ta'mirul Islam Elementary School, Surakarta. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Data validity testing techniques uses triangulation of techniques and source. The data analysis technique uses analysis from Cresswell. The research result show that the planning stages were carried out properly non-cognitive diagnostic assessment and observation, setting learning objectives preparing ATP and KKTP, preparing teaching modules and analyzing teaching modules. The implementation stages refer to content, process, product, and learning environment strategies. Content strategy is carried out with a variety of learning sources and media, process strategy is carried out by creating a learning environment that inspires enthusiasm for learning. The evaluation stages are carried out with formative and summative assessments. By implementing this differentiated learning, it has a positive impact on students, namely increasing student motivation in learning, and increasing student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the social studies learning difficulties and the handling efforts of the fifth grade students of SD Negeri Mangkubumen Kidul. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative research. The approach in this research is a case study. The subjects of this study were 28 students V and it was found that there were 11 students with scores below the KKM. Data collection techniques used in this research are document study analysis, observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles-Huberman interactive analysis model. Activities in data analysis include collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data in this study uses triangulation of sources and techniques. The results showed that 11 students scored below the KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria) on the theme 6, 7, and 8 theme test questions. Material difficulties related to the influence of human interaction and the role of society with the natural environment, names of heroes, arrival and resistance against western nations, British colonials, Dutch colonials, economic activities, and forms of business. Based on the data analysis of the factors that cause students to have difficulty learning Social Sciences because they are not interested, a lot of material, a lot of memorization, difficult questions, easy to forget, limited learning resources in schools, limited use of learning media, lack of parental assistance. The efforts made by the teacher are to give special attention and re-explanation of the material to students who do not understand the material. Efforts made by parents are to remind children to study, provide facilities in the form of the internet, and bring in tutors or include children in tutoring. Efforts made by students are asking teachers, parents, siblings, and tutors for material, looking for material in books and the internet.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to describe the form of difficulty in internalizing concept of cultural ethnic diversity and technical difficulties in implementing the online learning process experienced by fourth grade elementary school students. This research is a qualitative research (case study approach). The subjects of this study were students, teachers, and parents. Data was collected by means of interviews, questionnaires, and document studies. The validity test technique used is triangulation of sources and techniques. Analysis of the data using the analysis model of Miles and Huberman. The results of this study are as follows. First, the form of difficulty in internalizing the concept is the identification of forms of local cultural diversity and providing examples of respect for this diversity caused by eye disorders, lack of interest and motivation, lack of parental attention, home atmosphere is not conducive, the implementation of learning is not in accordance with the lesson plan, and the ability of teachers to diagnose children's learning difficulties is low. Second, technical difficulties in the implementation of online learning are inadequate learning tools and internet quota, low tech ability, teachers don’t use learning models, and teachers use inappropriate learning methods that don’t facilitate online student activity.

Abstract

The descriptive qualitative research conducted aims to describe the cultivation of social values in social studies learning grade V elementary school. The subjects of this study were students and teachers of the VA class at SD Negeri Mangkubumen Kidul. Research data obtained from interviews, observations and questionnaires. Validity in this study used triangulation techniques and the analysis of Miles-Huberman model. The outcomes of this research show that teachers instill social values in several ways; 1) Instillation of social values through learning methods is lecture methods,  giving  concrete questions, questions and answers, reward-punishment, assignment methods;2) Planting social values through example and habituation, exemplary through arriving on time, welcoming students a friendly way, habituation tenable with routine activities such as praying, cleaning the table  and spontaneous activities such as asking students for help;3) Verbal instillation of social values through motivation, reprimand and advice. motivation is given in by praise, reprimand and advice is given when students show unkind behavior such as arriving late, not collecting assignments, making rowdy in class. In this way, teachers implicitly instill social values in students, so that students can demonstrate behaviors that reflect social values and social values embedded in students that are integrated through learning activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and provide solutions to problems that arise during distance learning (PJJ) at SD Negeri Soropadan No. 108 Surakarta. This study uses a qualitative research method. Data were obtained through research subjects, namely homeroom teachers, students, observations result, and documents. The data collection technique used in thin research is interview homeroom teachers, students with questionnaires, observation, and other supporting document. A research is needed, namely an observation guide sheet, interview guide sheet, and questionnaire sheet. The data validity test uses the triangulation method. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The problem of implementing learning is the lack of self-preparation of teachers, lack of teacher's, knowledge related to distance learning technology so that learning is monotonous, lack of, interaction during learning, students who do not do assignments, lack of feedback to students, a lack of monitor student assignments, teachers providing material, delays in collecting assignments, limitations of learning technology used, obstacles in using google forms. The solution to the problemis to take part in socialization or training regarding distance learning, then create more diverse and fun learning, change the media from learning video or short messages to video calls so that interaction is maximized, students who do not do assignments are given warnings, a longer time or reduced points according to the length of the delay, provide simple support and appreciation after submitting assignments, changing the lesson plan to reduce the material to be taught, the teacher supervising the assignment of students, the teacher explains the material provided via voice messages or else, share material before learning, or use media that is more supportive of sharing screens, tutorials or procedures for using google forms.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) describe the planning, (2) describe the implementation, and (3) describe the evaluation of the implementation of the Pancasila student profile on the science and social studies project of the Indonesian cultural wealth material cooperation dimension of fourth grade students. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study research design. The subjects in this study were fourth grade students at Karangasem 4 elementary school. Data collection techniques use the results of document study, observation, and interview. The data analysis technique uses Creswell analysis. The data validity test technique uses triangulation techniques. The research results showed that the planning for implementing the Pancasila student profile was 97%, the implementation was 89%, and the evaluation was 96%. The results of the mutual cooperation dimension of fourth grade students were cooperation by 50%, communication of common purpose by 50%, positive dependency by 42%, social coordination by 44%, responsiveness of the social environment by 40%, social perception by 47%, and sharing knowledge by 46%. Influencing factors are internal, namely the influence of individualism and egoism due to globalization, and external, namely differentiations of student characteristics and the teacher's lack of ability to guide small group discussions.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: 1) to represent the application of Problem Based Learning model in developing reading comprehension skill; 2) to develop reading comprehension skill with Problem Based Learning model. Classroom Action Research (CAR) includes qualitative research. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were 25 female students. The data collection system used was observation, documentation, and test with source and technique triangulation validity test. Miles and Huberman model was used for data analysis. The results showed that students' reading comprehension ability in the pre-action reached an average of 59,60 with classical completeness of 32%. Cycle 1 reached an average of 65,50  with a classical completeness of 52%. Cycle 2 obtained an average score of 76,40 and classical completeness of 72 %. Based on these facts, it can be said that the reading comprehension ability of IVC grade students of SDIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta in the 2024/2025 academic year can be improved by using the Problem Based Learning model.
