Abstract

Pendidikan multikultural memiliki peranan penting dalam masyarakat yang semakin heterogen dan global saat ini untuk memberikan pembekalan pada aspek keberagaman, pembentukan identitas diri, keterampilan antar budaya, dan mencegah diskriminasi atau konflik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui implementasi pendidikan multikultural dan faktor-faktor yang mendukung serta menghambat proses implementasi pendidikan multikulural di SD Negeri Ngupasan Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa SD Negeri Ngupasan. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan yaitu observasi dan wawancara. Teknik keabsahaan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan metode.  Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendidikan multikultural dilaksanakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dan kegiatan pengembangan diri. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Sedangkan pelaksanaan dalam kegiatan pengembangan diri meliputi kegiatan bimbingan konseling, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, dan kegiatan pembiasaan rutin serta pembiasaan terprogram. Faktor yang mendukung implementasi pendidikan multikultural di SD Negeri Ngupasan Yogyakarta yaitu lingkungan sekolah, kurikulum sekolah, sarana prasarana sekolah, kegiatan sekolah, dan kerjasama semua komponen sekolah. Sedangkan, faktor yang menghambat berupa pola asuh orangtua, kurangnya media pembelajaran yang digunakan guru, dan kurangnya poster-poster atau tulisan-tulisan tentang keragaman dan nilai-nilai multikultural di sekolah. Kata kunci: Implementasi, Pendidikan Multikultural

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kelayakan, respon pendidik, respon peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran word search pazzel untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi digital siswa SD. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D yang memiliki empat tahapan pengembangan yaitu define, design, develop, dessiminate. Namun penelitian ini dibatasi sampai tahap develop setelah validasi produk. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan angket sedangkan intrumen yang digunakan adalah panduan wawancara, angket kelayakan produk dan angket respon pendidik dan peserta didik. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa: (1) Kelayakan oleh ahli media mendapatkan rata-rata 4,1 berkategori “layak”, kelayakan oleh ahli materi mendapatkan rata-rata 4,75 berkategori “sangat layak”. (2) Hasil respon pendidik terhadap keseluruhan media word search pazzel mendapatkan rata-rata 4,3 berkategori “sangat layak”, respon pendidik dengan wawancara terhadap penilaian media mendapatkan “respon positif” terhadap media word search pazzel. (3) Hasil respon peserta didik terhadap media word search pazzel dengan wawancara mendapatkan “respon positif”. Dengan demikian, pengembangan media pembelajaran word search pazzel “sangat layak” untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi digital pada siswa SD    Kata Kunci: Media pembelajaran, Pengembangan word search pazzel, Literasi digital   Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility, educators' responses, and students' responses to word search pazzel learning media to improve digital literacy skills of elementary school students. This type of research is a development research or Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D model which has four stages of development namely define, design, develop, dessiminate. However, this research is limited to the develop stage after product validation. The data collection techniques used in this study were interviews and questionnaires while the instruments used were interview guides, product feasibility questionnaires and educator and learner response questionnaires. The data analysis used is qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Based on the results of the study it is known that: (1) Feasibility by media experts gets an average of 4.1 categorized as "feasible", feasibility by material experts gets an average of 4.75 categorized as "very feasible". (2) The results of the educator's response to the overall media word search pazzel get an average of 4.3 categorized as "very feasible", the educator's response with an interview to the media assessment gets a "positive response" to the media word search pazzel. (3) The results of students' responses to word search pazzel media with interviews get a "positive response". Thus, the development of word search pazzel learning media is "very feasible" to improve digital literacy skills in elementary school students. Abstract

Elementary school students' skills in mastering mathematics (numeracy literacy) still need to be higher; most are below the minimum ability standard. This research aims to determine the ability of fifth-grade elementary school students to understand fractions completely through a realistic mathematics learning approach. The research method used utilizes Kurt Lewin's classroom action research. The research results illustrate that a realistic mathematics learning approach can increase the strengthening of mathematical skills simultaneously, especially in mastering the skills of understanding fractions. Thus, realistic mathematics learning is an innovative and effective way to strengthen students' abilities in mathematics subjects. Teachers are asked to systematically and massively utilize this approach in their learning practices for the following purposes.

Abstract

Current character education needs to be integrated into every lesson, including the integration of character education in social science. The ideas that should be prioritized in character education are values such as experience, empathy for others, personal obligation, feelings of the same destiny, suffering, peaceful conflict solvers. This study aimed to determine how to integrated character education in social science learning in elementary schools. The method used in this research is a literature study using book sources and articles, both national and international journals. The study focus is to reveal models that can be used to integrate character education in social science in elementary schools. The result is that character education can be integrated with the following four models: ARCS, VC, CTL, and LVE models. These models have in common is integrating values ​​through contextual problems. These contextual problems are the main components for the development of values ​​that are integrated into character education. However, the differences between the four models can be distinguished by the nature, context and application of social science learning. The integration of character education in every subject is essential for students' readiness to face every problem in their life. Further research needs to clarify the effectiveness of these models in efforts to develop character education.

Abstract

One of the problems experienced by the Padukuhan Kayen community is the difficulty of elementary school students in participating in online learning, so that learning assistance is needed for children in elementary school. These problems include not understanding the material, not doing assignments straightforwardly, to the role of parents who are not right in helping students learn at home. The purpose of this activity is to provide learning assistance to students to train academic abilities and master learning objectives, starting from tutoring reading and numeracy, doing assignments, and providing explanations of school materials that are not yet understood.The stages of mentoring carried out include the preparation stage, the socialization stage, and the implementation stage of activities. The location of the mentoring is planned in Kayen Hamlet, Kalurahan Sendangsari, Pajangan, Bantul. The results obtained by students are being able to read and count well, being more active in doing schoolwork, and better understanding learning materials at school.This activity received a very good response from local residents. The children are also very enthusiastic in participating in activities as evidenced by always being present when there is a schedule of guidance and trying to complete the tasks given. At the end of the activity, KKN-T students held a children's quiz competition as an evaluation of the implementation of the activity.

Abstract

The current use of technology-based learning media is still limited to textbooks from the government and projectors that display presentation slides or videos. The current study used a flipbook as a new alternative for teaching materials with additional religious values. This study aimed to 1) generate a flipbook for social and science studies (Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial or IPAS) with living values education program-based feasible to improve religious values; 2) determine the responses about the IPAS flipbook as a learning material from the teachers; 3) evaluate the responses about the IPAS flipbook as a learning material from the teachers from the students in enhancing their religious characteristics. The research design used was a research-and-development with a 4D research and development model (define, design, development, and dissemination). The subjects of the validation test are material experts and media experts, while the responders to the media are teachers and 19 fourth-grade students of  SD IT Samawi. The data was collected using interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The data analysis methods used are qualitative and quantitative. The results showed that the feasibility assessment of the IPAS flipbook is categorized as having "very good" criteria by material experts (average score of 4.6) and media experts (average score of 4.1). Furthermore, according to the fourth-grade teachers from SD IT Samawi, the flipbook media received an average score of 4.8, with "very good" criteria and is worthy of use. The fourth-grade students of SD IT Samawi responded well to the IPAS flipbook media, which obtained positive response results with an average prevalence of 90.7%.

Abstract

KKN-Tematik UAA (KKN-T) merupakan cover terdepan dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat sebagai realisasi implementasi kebijakan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, telah dapat dilaksanakan secara optimal, terukur dan sistematis. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan KKN-T tersebut adalah mengeliminasi marginalisasi masyarakat perdesaan berupa kemiskinan, ketidakberdayaan, dan ketertinggalan dalam segala aspek kehidupan masyarakat. Untuk keperluan tersebut maka dikonstruksi sebuah formulasi paradigma KKN-T berupa platform yang bersifat people-centered, partipatory, empowering, and sustainable untuk keperluan penguatan dan peningkatan kapasitas masyarakat dan pemberdayaan yang berbasis pada masyarakat. KKN-T tersebut dilaksanakan di 18 Dukuh di wilayah Kalurahan Sendangsari Kapanewon Pajangan Kabupaten Bantul, Yogyakarta. Mahasiswa yang terlibat dalam pelaksanaan KKN-T sebanyak 224 orang. Wujud keberhasilan pelaksanaan KKN-T, diantaranya: (1) fokus pelaksanaan kegiatan dititikberatkan pada platform pembangunan perdesaan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat, (2) bidang pelaksanaan kegiatan KKN-T, yaitu: (a) mengelola pemberdayaan dan utilisasi di bidang infrastruktur dan lingkungan, sarana dan prasarana kesehatan, tata layanan kesehatan kalurahan (posyandu), serta sarana dan prasarana pendidikan dan kebudayaan, (b) peningkatan kualitas dan kuantitas usaha ekonomi produktif masyarakat, (c) pengelolaan lingkungan hidup dan sanitasi, (d) pembinaan kemasyarakatan dan (e) pemberdayaan masyarakat, (3) terlaksanya proses kolaborasi pentha-helix antara mahasiswa, DPL, pemerintahan desa, masyarakat dan stakeholders lainnya, dan (4) tatalaksana in-put, proses, out-put, out-come KKN-T melalui mekanisme asistensi, pengorganisasian, pengarahan (sosialisasi dan desseminasi) dan fasilitasi yang didalamnya berkaitan dengan upaya penyadaran, pelatihan, pengorganisasian, pengembangan kekuatan dan membangun dinamika. Harapan ke depan, KKN-T dapat menjadi sarana regenerasi formulasi inovasi, kreatifitas, kemandirian, dan sinergi dalam tatakelola perluasan kuantitas dan peningkatan kualitas program SDGs Desa/Kalurahan terdiri atas 18 rencana aksi.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan perbedaan gaya berpikir mahasiswa berdasarkan perbedaan angkatan mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah noneksperimental design yang diberikan kepada 194 mahasiswa PGSD Tahun 2019-2022 pada salah satu Universitas yang ada di Yogyakarta. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Yan-Piaw Critical-Creative Thinking Style Test yang telah memenuhi nilai validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa gaya berpikir mahasiswa prodi PGSD pada setiap angkatan memiliki gaya berpikir seimbang, meskipun demikian pada setiap angkatan dari Tahun 2019 sampai dengan angkatan Tahun 2022 memiliki perbedaan signifikan. Perbedaan signifikan terletak antara mahasiswa angkatan 2019 dengan angkatan 2020 (p=-0,0005), dan angkatan 2019 dengan angkatan 2021 (p=-0,0434). Penelitian lanjutan harus menentukan metode belajar yang efektif berdasarkan perbedaan gaya berpikir mahasiswa.

Abstract

The purpose of our study was to investigate primary teachers’ readiness to use project-based learning (PBL) using teachers’ efficacy and teachers’ attitude toward PBL. A correlational descriptive design was set as the research design on 109 primary teachers from various schools who had participated in collaborative work projects in 2023. To collect data, teachers’ efficacy and teachers’ attitude scale were used as instrument. The results found that the level of use of PBL was influenced by teachers’ attitude toward PBL for each subscale except on the knowledge dependence and system restriction. The study also found that the level of use of PBL has a positive relationship with each subscale of teachers’ efficacy and the level of teachers’ efficacy is influenced by teachers’ attitude toward PBL for each subscale, except for the knowledge dependence. Implications of this study are expected to be considerations for professional development that focus on more concrete practical training.

Abstract

A learning module is one of the teaching materials that enables students to learn independently so that it is known to what extent pupils understand the learning material. However, teachers still rely on government-printed books to create innovative teaching materials that align with technological advancements. The purpose of this study is to find out if it is possible and how teachers and students would react to making a contextual virtual lab practical module on energy topics for fourth-grade elementary school students using the Research and Development model and a three-stage modified ADDIE development model that includes the analysis stage, the design stage, and the development stage. This research employs both qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. We did research and found that the contextual virtual lab practicum module on energy material for SDS IT Bina Anak Islam Krapyak class IV A students can be used for learning activities. This is proven by material expert validation getting an average score of 86% and media expert validation getting an average score of 95%, both of which can be categorized as "very decent.". After that, an assessment was also carried out by the teacher, getting a response with an average of 92% in the "very good" category and student responses getting an average score of 70% in the "good" category. It is safe to use the contextual virtual lab practicum module on energy material for fourth-grade elementary school students, as shown by the summary of the validation results.
