Abstract

This research aims to increase independence by using loose parts. The research subjects were children aged 4-5 years, totaling 16 children. The research procedure includes planning, implementation of action, observation, and reflection of each cycle-given action in five meetings. This improvement data was collected using observation techniques and analyzed descriptively, quantitatively and qualitatively. The results show that loose play can increase the independence of children aged 4-5 years. These results are indicated by an increase in the percentage of independence in action from pre-cycle to cycle 1 by 20.84%, then from cycle 1 to cycle 2 increased by 30.73%, and the average percentage of children's independence in cycle 2 was 84.38%. The results of this study can be used as a reference by kindergarten teachers in improving classroom learning related to children's self-sufficiency.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe project-based learning implementation in the “Kurikulum Merdeka” at TK Aisyiyah Nyai Ahmad Dahlan. This study used a qualitative approach and a case study type of research. The study subjects were the principal, curriculum team, class B teachers, and class group B4. Data collection techniques used interview techniques, observation, and documentation. Primary data sources comprised the principal, curriculum section, teachers, implementation of project learning, and their documents. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis model. The data from the research results were re-tested for validity using triangulation techniques and sources. The study results showed that TK Aisyiyah Nyai Ahmad Dahlan implemented project-based learning in the “Kurikulum Merdeka”, which included the preparation, implementation, and assessment processes supported by factors of facilities, learning media, and activity actors. Meanwhile, project-based learning at TK Aisyiyah Nyai Ahmad Dahlan also experienced several obstacles, such as limited literature and references, differing perceptions between teachers regarding “Kurikulum Merdeka” learning, and loose part learning less varied media

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of Project- Based Learning to stimulate symbolic thinking of 5-6 years old children at Pembina 1 Kindergarten in South Wangi-Wangi. This research used a qualitative research approach with a descriptive type. This research was conducted at Pembina 1 Kindergarten in South Wangi-Wangi. The data source of this research was determined by purposive sampling techniques consisting of the principal, class B teacher, and group B students and supported by document data. The data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The researcher was the main instrument in conducting the research with the help of observation, interviews, and documentation guidelines. The research results show the following findings: (1) project learning planning is carried out by preparing themes and learning topics, lessons plans, teaching modules, and projects reports. (2) The implementation of projects learning is carried out through projects activities to make fruit juice, cooking class, market day, lego construction, drawing and coloring, fruit media, blenders, or kitchen tools such as knives, spoons, and glasses, vegetables ingredients, pots and spoons, money, merchandise products, tables and chairs, legos, blocks, boards/bases, drawings paper/colouring books, pencils, colored pencils, and crayons. In the symbolic projects learning method, children determine learning objectives, project design, pre-project preparation, project implementation, reflection and evaluation, and classroom arrangement.

Abstract

This research uses a qualitative approach with a survey method. This research was conducted in Teluk Meranti Subdistrict, Pelalawan Regency Riau, the data source of this research was determined by purposive sampling technique consisting of parents who have children aged 4-6 years. Data were collected by interview through a questionnaire. The data that has been obtained is analyzed using Miles & Huberman (1992) including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The analyzed data were then tested for validity using triagulation techniques. The results of this study shows three findings (1) there are three types of parenting patterns applied by parents in Teluk Meranti Subdistrict, Pelalawan Regency Riau, namely 70% democratic parenting patterns seen in the provisions of rules that do n't burden children, giving advice and directions to children, and good communication in the family, Then authoritarian parenting 20% where parents tend to give physical punishment, few communications rooms, and permissive parenting 10% parents give freedom without parental supervision of children . (2) Religious characters result from democratic parenting are praying, fasting, familiarizing the words please, sorry, and thank you you, darling greetings, darling the creed, helping each other, keeping the environment clean and loving living things.

Abstract

This study aims to know and identify Jogja values through art learning in kindergartens of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This research method takes a qualitative approach with the process of data collection through observation, interviews and documentation as well as triangulating data to obtain data devalidation. The results of this study found that this art learning includes the development of children's dance, songs and children's traditional dolanan. The values contained in Jogja are the main ingredients in pouring this art learning material. These values are Hamemayu Hayuning Buwana, Sangkan paraning dumadi and manunggaling kawula gusti. In teaching these values, techniques in art learning that cannot be separated are elements of appreciation, exploration and expression.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Implementasi Metode Pembelajaran STEAM pada Kurikulum Merdeka PAUD. Adapun latar belakang penelitian ini yaitu masih banyak guru yang kebingungan untuk menerapkan STEAM dalam kuriukulum Merdeka, kegiatan proyek yang dilaksanakan belum mengintegrasikan STEAM. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif-deskriptif dengan  metode penelitian systematic literature review meliputi menelaah atrikel, jurnal, dan buku yang relevan dengan mencatat hal-hal penting dan diakhiri dengan implementasi dalam bentuk tulisan secara runtut. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan berupa analisis isi (content analysis). Membiasakan anak mengintegrasikan STEAM dalam proses berpikir akan membantu mereka memahami bagaimana dunia bekerja terutama lingkungan sekitar anak. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan pendekatan STEAM, anak akan mengembangkan ide-ide berbasis sains dan teknologi dengan terlibat dalam aktivitas pemecahan masalah yang berasal dari lima disiplin ilmu yang saling berhubungan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah menambah pengetahuan guru mengenai langkah-langkah implementasi metode STEAM dalam kurikulum merdeka

Abstract

Pembelajaran proyek mulai diterapkan oleh guru karena menjadi pendekatan pembelajaran yang mampu melibatkan anak secara aktif dalam menginvestigasi topik secara mendalam dan konkret. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjabarkan pelaksanaan pembelajaran proyek secara daring di Lab School Sekolah CITTA. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan sumber data guru dan anak di sekolah. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan dua langkah analisis dari lima yang ada model Spradley, yaitu analisis domain dan tema. Keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi dan perpanjangan keikutsertaan. Hasil penelitian mendapati bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran proyek secara daring dilakukan tetap menggunakan tiga langkah, yaitu persiapan terdiri dari pemilihan tema dan mencari informasi, pelaksanaan terdiri dari pembuka/penyapa, kegiatan inti, dan teknik/tampilan, serta evaluasi yang berisi pendokumentasian video dan foto kegiatan anak. Perbedaan dengan pelaksanaan pembelajaran proyek secara luring ada pada penyampaian. Jika luring dilakukan di sekolah dan dibimbing langsung oleh guru, maka pelaksanaan proyek secara daring dilaksanakan menggunakan aplikasi whatsapp¸ voice note, zoom, maupun video sesuai kondisi. Proyek diselesaikan anak di rumah dengan dampingan orangtua. Guru menerima kiriman video, voice note, atau foto kegiatan anak dari orang tua untuk diolah menjadi penilaian. Artikel hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran pelaksanaan pembelajaran proyek dalam kondisi darurat sekalipun.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan permainan dan media Ular Tangga Modifikasi (Ultamod) guna mengoptimalkan perkembangan anak usia dini. Penelitian ini mengacu pada model pengembangan Borg & Gall namun hanya sampai pada tahapan nomor 3 yaitu pengembangan prototipe dengan penilaian validator. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala dengan instrumen lembar skala dan analisis data menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif. Data kuantitatif kemudian dikonversikan ke data kualitatif  dengan rumus persentase untuk mengetahui  kualitas produk. Target penelitian ini adalah terciptanya Ultamod dan panduan penggunaannya, yang dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran di PAUD yang dapat mengembangkan keenam aspek perkembangan anak usia dini, yaitu nilai agama moral, fisik motorik, bahasa, kognitif, sosial emosional dan seni. Berdasarkan hasil uji validator, maka media ular tangga modifikasi dan buku petunjuk penggunaan yang telah dibuat peneliti dinyatakan layak diuji coba lapangan dengan revisi. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari pengujian instrumen oleh validator yang secara keseluruhan uji materi diperoleh hasil 78,57 % (baik) dan uji media diperoleh hasil 80 % (baik).

Abstract

Artikel ini berisi hasil penelitian tahap awal tentang pengetahuan dan pemahaman guru Taman Kanak-kanak tentang pengembangan tema pembelajaran berbasis budaya lokal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Jumlah guru sampel penelitian adalah 70 orang guru TK se Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 91,5 persen guru belum mengembangkan tema pembelajaran berbasis budaya lokal. Salah satu kendala yang dihadapi adalah tidak ada pelatihan khusus untuk mengembangkan tema pembelajaran berbasis budaya lokal tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini mendorong peneliti untuk melakukan penelitian lanjutan terkait pengembangan tema pembelajaran berbasis budaya lokal dalam bentuk desain pengembangan tema pembelajaran berbasis budaya lokal, ujicoba, dan diseminasi produk.

Abstract

Pengenalan sejak dini, berlalu lintas yang baik, akan menjadikan kegiatan tersebut menjadi budaya yang melekat sampai dewasa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengembangkan buku panduan berlalu lintas yang dapat digunakan untuk pembelajaran di Taman Kanak-kanak. Tujuan penelitian adalah pembuatan buku panduan yang dapat digunakan sebagai panduan praktis bagi guru PAUD/TK dalam mengajarkan disiplin berlalu lintas sejak dini kepada anak-anak, dan mengenalkan berbagai profesi yang berkaitan langsung dengan adanya taman lalu lintas melalui pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development Borg & Gall. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, angket, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku panduan memiliki kualitas penyajian yang terdiri dari dua item, yaitu kemenarikan gambar dan isi buku; menggunakan bahasa yang jelas dan dapat dipahami dengan baik serta tidak bermakna ganda. Buku panduan disusun menggunakan sistematika penulisan: Bab I Pendahuluan, Bab II Kajian Taman Lalu Lintas, Bab III Prosedur Pembuatan Taman Lalu Lintas, Bab IV Pembelajaran di Taman Lalu Lintas, dan Bab V Penutup, dan Lampiran. Materi yang ditampilkan untuk buku panduan sesuai dengan Kurikulum 2013. Buku panduan sudah dianggap baik oleh para guru dan sesuai dengan karakteristik pembelajaran pada anak usia dini. Buku panduan berlalu lintas untuk taman kanak- kanak ini, diharapkan memasukkan langkah-langkah saintifik: mengamati, menanya, mengumpulkan informasi, mengasosiasi atau mengolah informasi, dan terakhir mengkomunikasikan.A traffic discipline learning guidebook in kindergartenEarly recognition, good traffic, will make these activities become an inherent culture into adulthood. This study was conducted to develop a traffic manual that can be used for learning in kindergarten. This study explores the use of a guidebook as a practical guide for PAUD/TK teachers in teaching the discipline of traffic early on to children, and introducing various professions that are directly related to the existence of a traffic park. The method of the study is research and development by Borg & Gall. Data collection using interviews, questionnaires, observation, documentation. The results showed that the manual has a quality presentation consisting of two items, namely the attractiveness of the picture and the contents of the book; use language that is clear and can be understood properly and does not have a double meaning. The guidebook was prepared using systematic writing: Chapter I Introduction, Chapter II Study of Traffic Parks, Chapter III Procedures for Making Traffic Parks, Chapter IV Learning in Traffic Parks, and Chapter V Closing, and Appendix. The material displayed for the guidebooks is under the 2013 Curriculum. The guidebooks are considered to be good by teachers and following the characteristics of learning in early childhood. The traffic manual for kindergartens is expected to include scientific steps: observing, asking questions, gathering information, associating the information and communicating.
