Abstract

The phenomenon of moral decline has colored the education world. Several students and education graduates show an attitude that is not commendable. Many students and college students are involved in brawls, criminal acts, theft, muggings, sexual deviations, involved in drugs, bullying, and other criminal acts. Even among students, brawls often occur. Demonstrations that protest against policies do not only occur on campuses but also occur among high school students and even elementary school students, which sometimes end in violence. This disgraceful act has disturbed the community. the study will describe how important value education is to improve the morality of students in high school, and will also discuss the causes that might trigger a moral crisis in students, as well as what steps should be taken to rebuild morale. The research is a qualitative study. It includes the process of exploring and understanding the meaning of individual and group behavior, describing social problems or humanitarian problems. The resulting state that moral education is something that must be given to students in schools, from elementary schools to tertiary institutions. Because moral education can shape a person's personality so that he becomes a good human being, a citizen, and a good citizen by the mandate contained in the functions and objectives of national education in the Law on the National Education System. The role of teachers and learning designers in developing moral learning strategies in schools should provide more opportunities for students to take moral roles, both within the family environment, school environment, peer environment, and the wider community environment by providing an example through the process of imitation

Abstract

Educators and education staff have the same role and task, namely carrying out various activities that lead to the creation of convenience and success for students in learning. The role of educators in facilitating school administration is very important because they have great duties and responsibilities for the smooth running of teaching and learning activities in schools. Every school requires skilled, reliable educators, and understand the job description. The formulation of the problem in this paper is first, what is included in school administration? Second, what is the role of education personnel in school administration? The purpose of this study is to increase understanding of the concept of school administration and the professional ethics of education personnel in school administration. This study uses a qualitative method with a library research approach. Data collection techniques by taking data in the library, reading, taking notes, and processing research material. Based on the results of the data analysis, several conclusions were found as follows regarding matters covered in school administration, namely 1. Curriculum Administration, 2. Student Administration, 3. Infrastructure Administration, 4. Financial Administration and 5. Public Relations Administration. The role of education personnel in school administration is to play an active role in quality service efforts, and the formation of professional human resources in the field of school development and administration. As well as carrying out the educational code of ethics as a form of moral responsibility towards his profession as an educator

Abstract

English has been introduced and studied from an early age till University because it is still introductory, so students are certainly not proficient in communicating with that language. The problem raised in this study is why is the level of student's English proficiency in FTIKOM semester 2 IBN 2022/2023 academic year low? How to increase student motivation in learning English? And what learning strategies can influence student learning motivation in English courses? In this study, researchers used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The conclusions in this study are (1) The low level of understanding and learning motivation of FTIKOM students in semester 2 of IBN for the 2022/2023 academic year is caused by first, English is not a favorite subject. Second, the effect of the Covid 19 pandemic which requires students to study at home, and only online. Online learning in district areas cannot be implemented optimally. Therefore, high school graduates who currently occupy lecture seats in semester 2 have low English skills and lack motivation to study. (2) In this study it was found that the use of YouTube social media can increase the learning motivation of FTIKOM faculty students in semester 2 of IBN for the 2022-2023 academic year. (3) Learning strategies using YouTube social media can affect student learning motivation in English courses because learning content from YouTube has a relatively long duration of explanation compared to English learning content on other social media, as well as students can replay the learning video to understand the material.
