Abstract

The slaughtering of sacrificial animals (kurban) is a religious ritual rich in spiritual, social, and health values; however, in practice, it still faces several fundamental challenges. The traditional method of casting animals with ropes often poses safety risks to the committee, causes stress to the animals, and leads to a decline in meat quality. This community service program was conducted to provide a solution through the innovation of a safe and efficient animal casting tool that complies with Islamic principles. The method consisted of needs assessment, design and fabrication of a galvanized steel frame casting device with a portable hinge system, training on hygienic and syar’i slaughtering techniques, and field trials with the kurban committee. The results showed that the casting tool significantly reduced accident risks, shortened the time required for animal handling and slaughter, and maintained meat quality by minimizing animal stress. Moreover, the training improved the skills and knowledge of the kurban committee, particularly in halal, hygienic, and regulated slaughtering practices. The success of this program provided not only a technical solution but also reinforced the religious and social values of the kurban ritual, while fostering community independence in applying appropriate technology. Therefore, this community service contributes to enhancing safety, meat quality, and the sustainability of an orderly, hygienic, and syar’i-compliant kurban tradition.

Abstract

The declining interest and consistency in memorizing the Quran among younger generations pose a serious challenge amidst digital disruption and academic pressure. This study reflects on the experiences of participants in the One Day One Color (O.D.O.C) program, a Quranic memorization method based on daily targets and visualized progress, designed to foster discipline and measurable spiritual engagement. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed using in-depth interviews with participants who had completed the program, to explore the cognitive, affective, and spiritual impacts of this method. The findings indicate that O.D.O.C effectively facilitates the formation of long-term memory structures, enhances intrinsic motivation, and strengthens emotional connections with Qur’anic verses. Although there is a decline in memorization intensity after the program ends, most participants demonstrate continued effort by adjusting their rhythm, integrating alternative methods, and leveraging technology. Memorization also serves as a reflective tool, a reinforcement of religious identity, and a form of emotional therapy. In conclusion, the O.D.O.C method is not only technically relevant but also has a transformative impact on character and spiritual development. Its success is contingent upon post-program support, including community engagement, strategic flexibility, and adaptive digital systems. This study recommends O.D.O.C as a promising methodological innovation in contemporary Qur’anic education.

Abstract

Artikel ini ditulis dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengimplementasian kebijakan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di SMK DTBS Bandung. Permasalahan utama dalam artikel ini adalah apa kebijakan kepala sekolah dan bagaimana kepala sekolah mengimplementasikan kebijakan tersebut. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menujukan ada 3 (tiga) kebijakan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru, yakni (1) Guru wajib mengumpulkan dokumen pembelajaran; (2) Meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran, dan (3) sertifikasi keahlian untuk guru produktif. Ketiga kebijakan tersebut diimplementasikan melalui (1) pemberian reward and punishment, (2) pengawasan kinerja guru secara ketat, (3) komunikasi terbuka dengan guru, (4) pemberdayaan MGMP, (5) kunjungan rutin ke kelas, (6) melengkapi sarana prasarana, (7) penyusunan kurikulum khas SMK DTBS, (8) penyelenggaraan pelatihan, (9) membangun kerjasama dengan pihak luar, (10) menghilangkan remedial test, (11) melakukan koordinasi berjenjang, (12) pembiayaan secara penuh oleh sekolah, serta (13) pembuatan surat perjanjian.This article aims to see the implementation of the headmaster policy to improve the teacher performance in SMK DTBS Bandung. The main focus in the article are what the headmaster policy and how the headmaster implements the policy. The research method used is qualitative. The result showed the headmaster issued 3 (three) policies in improving teacher performance, which is (1) Teachers are obliged to collect learning documents; (2) Improve the quality of the learning process, and (3) Certification for teachers. The three policies are implemented by (1) reward and punishment, (2) teacher performance supervision, (3) communication, (4) empowerment of MGMP, (5) class visits, (6) completing the infrastructure, (7) preparation of a typical school curriculum, (8) training arrangements, (9) cooperation with other parties, (10) omitting the remedial test, (11) coordination patterns, (12) full financing by schools, and (13) agreement letter

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas strategi pengembangan karakter kepemimpinan pada mahasiswa melalui pembelajaran PAI. Dari hasil kajian yang dilakukan oleh tim peneliti dari berbagai literatur, saat ini sedang terjadinya krisis kepemimpinan di dalam semua level, baik pada tingkat lokal, nasional, maupun global. Krisis kepemimpinan terjadi akibat ketidakmampuan memanajemen krisis multidimensional dan perilaku amoral. Tim peneliti menilai bahwa keberadaan mata kuliah PAI mempunyai peran penting dalam penanaman dan pembinaan karakter kepemimpinan kepada mahasiswa. Hal tersebut karena mata kuliah PAI mempunyai posisi penting dalam kurikulum pendidikan di Indonesia, mengacu pada peraturan UU No. 20 Tahun 2003 dan berbagai turunannya yang menempatkan mata kuliah PAI sebagai mata kuliah wajib nasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif-deskritif. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi lapangan, wawancara dan studi dokumen pada perkuliahan PAI di Polban dan PNJ. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa perkuliahan PAI mempunyai peran dalam mengembangkan karakter kepemimpinan mahasiswa melalui 2 langkah strategi, yakni  mengkaji konsep kepemimpinan dalam Al-Quran kemudian menginsersikan karakter kepemimpinan dalam bahan ajar PAI dan melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan pembelajaran aktif (active learning).This article discussed strategies for developing students' leadership character through Islamic education. From the results of the study conducted by the researchers, taken from various literatures, there is currently a leadership crisis occurring at all levels, both at the local, national, and global levels. The leadership crisis occurs due to the inability to manage multidimensional crises and immoral behavior. The researchers considered that the existence of the PAI course played an important role in instilling and fostering leadership characters in the students. This is because PAI subjects have a  vital position in the education curriculum in Indonesia, referring to Law no. 20 of 2003 and its various derivatives, which place the PAI course as a national compulsory subject. This study used a qualitative-descriptive method. Data was collected through field studies, interviews and document studies at PAI lectures in Polban and PNJ. The results of the study show that PAI lectures have a role in developing student leadership character through 2 strategic steps, namely examining the concept of leadership in the Qur'an and then introducing leadership character into PAI teaching materials and carrying out learning with an active learning approach (active learning).

Abstract

Pembahasan mengenai muatan moderasi beragama dalam perkuliahan di perguruan tinggi sudah banyak yang melakukannya, namun bagaimana muatan moderasi beragama secara spesifik dimasukan dalam pembahasan akidah pada pembelajaran PAI di PTU masih belum ada yang melakukannya. Oleh karena itu, artikel ini mencoba mengeksplorasi bagaimana nilai moderasi beragama dalam materi akidah pada pembelajaran PAI di UNP. Artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian yang bertujuan mendapatkan gambaran secara utuh bagaimana nilai moderasi beragama dikembangkan dalam materi akidah di UNP. Pendekatan yang dipakai adalah desain kualitatif-deskriptif dimana data dikumpulkan melalui kajian mendalam terhadap berbagai sumber pustaka dan dikonfirmasi secara mendalam melalui wawancara terhadap dosen dan mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengembangan nilai moderasi beragama pada materi akidah di UNP adalah nilai I'tidal dan nilai Tasamuh. Pengembangan nilai ini memungkinkan mahasiswa untuk mendapatkan pemahaman keagamaan yang benar namun mampu diimplementasikan secara fleksibel dan luas dalam berbagai aspek kehidupannya.Discussions on religious moderation content in lectures at higher education institutions have been conducted by many, however, how the religious moderation content specifically is incorporated into the discussion of akida in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at University has not yet been conducted. Therefore, this article attempts to explore how the values of religious moderation in the material of akida in PAI learning at UNP. This article is the result of research aimed at obtaining a comprehensive picture of how religious moderation values are developed in the material of belief at UNP. The approach used is descriptif-qualitatif, where data is collected through an in-depth study of various literature sources and confirmed in depth through interviews with lecturers and students. The results of the study indicate that the development of religious moderation values in the material of akida at UNP are the values of I'tidal and Tasamuh. The development of these values allows students to gain a correct religious understanding yet able to be implemented flexibly and broadly in various aspects of their lives.

Abstract

The Forum Pemuda Peduli Karst Citatah (FP2KC) faces challenges in evaluating its environmental conservation programs in a structured and comprehensive manner. The evaluations of existing programs are still sporadic and insufficient to capture deeper social impacts because they rely heavily on quantitative data. To address this issue, a Community Service Program (PKM) was initiated with the aim of strengthening FP2KC’s evaluation capacity through the application of the Most Significant Change (MSC) method. This qualitative method was chosen for its ability to capture complex social changes through participants’ narratives. The approach enables a deeper and multidimensional understanding of program impacts, as demonstrated in various previous studies. The program’s implementation method includes four approaches: facilitation, FGDs and training, as well as mentoring and technical assistance. These approaches are intended to transfer knowledge and skills to FP2KC administrators, particularly in applying MSC. The outcomes of this program are innovations in program evaluation and enhanced partner skills. With a more effective evaluation system, FP2KC is expected to measure program progress more accountably and sustainably, while strategically contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the university’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
