Abstract

Di era transformasi digital, kecerdasan buatan (AI) telah menjadi salah satu teknologi yang menawarkan peluang besar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, khususnya dalam proses penilaian pembelajaran. Penilaian yang tepat, objektif, dan efisien merupakan kunci untuk mengukur capaian belajar mahasiswa dan merancang strategi pengajaran yang lebih efektif. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan dosen IPDC Timor Leste dalam memanfaatkan AI untuk penilaian pembelajaran. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara daring dengan Zoom Meeting dan diikuti oleh dosen IPDC Timor Lester sebanyak 30 peserta. Kegiatan dikonsep dalam suatu program pelatihan klasikal yang dibagi dalam tiga tahapan yaitu ceramah interaktif, demonstrasi dan praktik, serta diskusi studi kasus. Kegiatan ini secara umum dapat dikategorikan berhasil dan berjalan dengan baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari tingkat partisipasi peserta sangat tinggi (91,43%), terjadi peningkatan kompetensi yang signifikan peserta pelatihan sebanyak 55,58 poin pada post test, dan tingkat kepuasan peserta dalam aspek materi, kualitas penyelenggaraan, pembicara, dan kemampuan komunikasi panitia/pemateri dominan dalam kategori sangat baik (71–79%).

Abstract

The learning process in archival studies has not yet reached an ideal state for achieving graduate-level competencies. The influence of ICT integration in archival practice within higher education on students’ self-directed learning remains underexplored. This study aims to analyze students’ self-directed learning in archival practice using the Digital Filing Cabinet (DFC). A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, involving 68 students enrolled in the Archival Management course at the Vocational Faculty of Yogyakarta State University. Data was collected using an online questionnaire and analyzed through descriptive statistical methods to portray students’ levels of self-directed learning. The findings reveal that the use of DFC supports the development of students’ cognitive skills and fosters self-directed learning in archival management. Further research is recommended to explore the effectiveness of DFC in relation to other variables within the archival learning process.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Transformasi digital merupakan kebutuhan esensial dalam penguatan UMKM perempuan, khususnya dalam pemasaran dan pengelolaan usaha. Namun, pelaku UMKM di bawah naungan Aisyiyah Kota Yogyakarta masih menghadapi berbagai hambatan seperti rendahnya kemampuan membuat konten iklan digital, minimnya pemanfaatan smartphone, serta keterbatasan pemahaman terhadap ekosistem digital. Tujuan: Meningkatkan kapasitas pelaku usaha perempuan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI) untuk strategi pemasaran digital. Metode: Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan berbasis project based learning. Hasil: Hasil menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu membuat konten promosi secara mandiri dengan bantuan AI, termasuk desain visual dan penulisan caption. Temuan penting dari kegiatan ini meliputi: meningkatnya kemampuan teknis peserta, tumbuhnya rasa percaya diri dalam penggunaan media digital, dan peran strategis Aisyiyah dalam membangun jejaring pemberdayaan perempuan. Pendekatan kontekstual dan praktik langsung terbukti efektif dalam menjembatani kesenjangan literasi digital. Kesimpulan: program ini berhasil meningkatkan kapabilitas UMKM perempuan dalam pemasaran digital berbasis AI, serta menunjukkan pentingnya kolaborasi komunitas perempuan dalam mendorong transformasi digital yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

UMKM mempunyai kewajiban dalam menata arsip sesuai amanat undang-undang. Pengelolaan arsip memiliki peranan penting untuk mendukung berbagai aktivitas dalam UMKM. Pengelolaan arsip yang tidak baik akan menimbulkan berbagai masalah. Masalah yang timbul akibat pengelolaan arsip yang kurang baik misalnya, kesulitan menemukan arsip ataupun kehilangan arsip yang dapat berakibat mengancam legilitas usaha. Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pengelolaan arsip yang baik khususnya arsip dinamis dapat membantu memaksimalkan pengembangan UMKM. Artikel ini akan akan mengkaji lebih dalam tentang bagaimana pengembangan UMKM membutuhkan arsip sebagai salah satu syarat mutlak yang harus dimiliki. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa dengan penerapan prinsip-prinsip pengelolaan arsip yang sistematis, seperti pengklasifikasian, penataan, dan pemeliharaan yang efektif, didukung dengan peralatan yang memadai dapat mencapai efisiensi operasional yang lebih tinggi pada UMKM, menjaga keamanan data, dan memastikan kepatuhan terhadap regulasi hukum. Penggunaan teknologi modern, seperti sistem manajemen arsip digital turut berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan aksesibilitas dan keamanan arsip. Selain itu, pelatihan karyawan dan pengawasan rutin adalah langkah penting untuk memastikan bahwa sistem pengelolaan arsip berfungsi secara optimal. Kata Kunci: Arsip, UMKM

Abstract

This study aims to compare the exam results of paper-based and online-based assessments among vocational high school students majoring in Office Management and Business Services. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a post-test only control group design. Using purposive sampling, the study involved 32 tenth-grade students from the Office Management program as the experimental group and tenth-grade students from the Logistics Management program as the control group at Yogyakarta State Vocational High School. The results showed an average score of 65.16 for the experimental group and 68.97 for the control group. This indicates that students who took the paper-based exam achieved higher average scores than those who took the online-based exam. These findings provide empirical evidence that there is a significant difference between paper-based and online-based exam results among vocational students. The study also demonstrates that the choice of exam method has an impact on students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

Electronic record management is one of the main competencies of OTKP SMK graduates. Therefore, teachers in SMK OTKP must have knowledge and skills in electronic record management and be able to use appropriate instructional media. This community service aims to 1) increase the knowledge of OTKP VHS teachers in electronic record management, and 2) improve the skills of OTKP VHS teachers in electronic record management material. Community service activities used a variety of methods, including lectures, demonstrations, discussions, and practice. The results of the community service activities that have been achieved are as follows: 1) The knowledge of OTKP VHS teachers in electronic record management was increased, and 2) The skills of OTKP VHS teachers in electronic record management material were improved. All participants in the training understood and practiced electronic record management well.

Abstract

Integrating technology into archival learning is essential for equipping vocational students with competencies aligned with the digital era. This study investigates the comparative effectiveness of three digital media—Windows Explorer (WE), Digital File Cabinet (DFC), and ERISE—in enhancing students’ knowledge and skills in archival practice. A post-test only control group experimental design was employed involving 214 students enrolled in an Archival Management course. Participants were randomly assigned to three groups: control (WE, n = 74), experimental group 1 (DFC, n = 74), and experimental group 2 (ERISE, n = 63). Data were collected using a 30-item multiple-choice test (targeting cognitive levels C2–C4; Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.65) and performance assessments using a rubric based on the 2023 National Competency Test. Statistical analysis included normality and homogeneity testing, followed by the Kruskal–Wallis test for group comparisons. Results revealed significant differences among the three groups in both knowledge and skill outcomes (p 0.001). ERISE and DFC yielded higher knowledge scores than WE, although all groups scored below 70. In terms of skills, ERISE and DFC outperformed WE, with mean scores above 75. The findings suggest that purpose-built digital platforms like ERISE and DFC are more effective than default operating system tools for archival learning. However, the low average knowledge scores highlight the need for instructional strategies that balance practical application with theoretical understanding.

Abstract

In the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0, vocational students must possess strong correspondence skills to meet modern workplace requirements. However, instructional media used in Vocational High School (VHS) Office Management and Business Services (OMBS) programs in the Special Region of Yogyakarta are not yet aligned with students' learning characteristics. This study aimed to identify the instructional media needs of 430 VHS OMBS students to support the development of their correspondence competencies. A quantitative descriptive approach was used, with data collected through a structured questionnaire. The findings revealed three key points: (1) students face significant difficulties in sentence construction and understanding correspondence materials; (2) traditional tools such as Microsoft Word and handwritten exercises remain dominant in classrooms; and (3) students exhibit a strong preference for web-based instructional media. Notably, students in public VHS institutions reported greater access to web-based platforms, while those in private schools highlighted their usability and efficiency. These results indicate a misalignment between current instructional methods and student preferences, particularly in leveraging digital tools for communication skills development. The study highlights the urgent need for vocational education stakeholders to adopt more adaptive, web-based instructional media. Doing so can enhance students’ readiness for professional communication in increasingly digital work environments.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a letter management information system at a higher education institution in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, known as Campus Y. The institution currently relies on manual procedures for managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, which causes inefficiencies and delays in information flow. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach, the study applies the ADDIE model and focuses specifically on the analysis and design phases. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, field observations, and documentation, and were analysed qualitatively. The results of the needs analysis indicate that incoming and outgoing mail is still managed using physical books and disposition sheets, leading to time-consuming processes and dependence on the physical presence of administrators. Although letter drafting utilizes basic digital tools such as Microsoft Word, the institution lacks an integrated archival system. In response, a system flow was designed using flowcharts, covering processes from mail input and disposition to outgoing letter creation, correction, and storage. The system is expected to streamline correspondence workflows, reduce reliance on manual methods, and enhance the efficiency, traceability, and responsiveness of academic administration. This study is limited to the system design stage and recommends further development and evaluation in subsequent phases. Keyword: system information; letter management; research and development
