Abstract

This research analyzes the morphological lineaments on Mount Semeru, East Java. The morphological lineament is processed using satellite imagery as a digital elevation model (DEM), downloaded on the Badan Informasi Geospasial (BIG) page. The image was processed using Global Mapper software with azimuth angles of 00, 450, 900, 1800, and 3150 and produced a lineament map that had been overlaid from all azimuth angles and created a morphological lineament map with various groups of values from high to low. From the analysis that has been carried out, it was found that there are 103 lineaments, most of which are spread in the area west of the crater of Mount Semeru, with the dominant direction showing a west-southwest – east-northeast orientation.

Abstract

The utilization of social networks in the formation of Social Chemistry by State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) in the Meranti Islands as Sociopreneurs is an innovation that enables the optimization of sago potential utilization. This study aims to explore the role of social networks in supporting the success of Rumah BUMN Meranti Islands in marketing sago products through E-Commerce. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews. The results of the study show that the role of social networks in the formation of social chemistry in the use of e-commerce by Rumah BUMN Meranti Islands as a sociopreneur for optimizing the utilization of sago potential demonstrates a significant synergy between digital technology and social dynamics. Rumah BUMN Meranti Islands has successfully leveraged social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp to build close connections with various stakeholders, including sago farmers, artisans, local SMEs, and consumers, through special groups, pages, online discussions, webinars, and Q&A sessions. Active community participation is also encouraged through contests and challenges, which strengthen the sense of ownership among members. With this approach, Rumah BUMN Meranti Islands not only promotes sago products but also creates a dynamic and sustainable ecosystem, where the potential of sago can be optimized through community synergy and technology. This harmonious and constructive interaction reflects the principles of social chemistry, enhancing community cohesion and collective trust, as well as the effectiveness of collaboration and innovation.

Abstract

Mount Semeru is an active volcano located on the island of Java. On December 4, 2021, Mount Semeru erupted again, resulting in damage and loss of life. Sentinel-2 satellite imagery was utilized for mapping vegetation areas, while Sentinel-3 was employed for assessing surface temperatures. The NDVI distribution related to the Semeru volcano eruption indicates that the extent of cloud cover, water, and open vegetation was consistent before, during, and after the eruption. Before the eruption, areas of very low vegetation were more prevalent than during and after. In contrast, areas of low vegetation were more common following the eruption compared to the eruption period and before it. Medium vegetation remained dominant after the eruption in comparison to the periods before and during it. In contrast, high vegetation was most abundant during the eruption and was at its lowest before the eruption occurred. The land surface temperature recorded before the eruption ranged from a minimum of 11.8 °C to a maximum of 30.12 °C. During the eruption, temperatures peaked at 42.4 °C and dropped to a low of 14.0 °C. Following the eruption, the maximum temperature recorded was 40.8 °C, with a minimum of 11.6 °C. The presence of lava flow during and after the eruption is indicated by the red circle on the land surface temperature map, and when compared to the NDVI map, the black circle shows areas where vegetation was absent due to the lava flow observed on the land surface temperature map
