Abstract

This study entitled the effect of financial literacy and sociodemography on individual investment decisions with behavioral bias as an intervening variable. The purpose of this study was to analyze the direct and indirect effects of financial literacy and sociodemography on investment decisions through behavioral bias. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive analysis method with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) model using SmartPLS. Based on the results of the study, it shows that financial literacy has no significant effect on the individual investment decisions of Jambi High Court employees. Sociodemography has a significant effect on the individual investment decisions of Jambi High Court employees. Financial literacy has no significant effect on individual behavioral biases of Jambi High Court employees. Sociodemography has no significant effect on individual behavioral biases at the Jambi High Court. Behavioral bias has a significant effect on the individual investment decisions of Jambi High Court employees. Financial literacy does not have a significant effect on investment decisions through behavioral bias. Sociodemographics have a significant influence on investment decisions through behavioral biases.

Abstract

Berdasarkan laporan kinerja sekretariat dari tahun 2019-2022 kinerja sekretariat DPRD Provinsi Jambi mengalami penurunan. Sehingga menarik untuk dilakukan penelitian terkait peran entrepreneur leadership, entrepreneur orientation dan kreativitas pegawai terhadap kinerja sekretariat DPRD Provinsi Jambi. Karena Entrepreneurial Leadership mencerminkan kepemimpinan yang berwirausaha, maka gaya kepemimpinan yang lebih inovatif ini dapat membuat organisasi bertahan dan unggul dalam persaingan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh entrepreneur leadership, entrepreneur orientation dan kreativitas pegawai terhadap kinerja sekretaris dewan perwakilan rakyat daerah (DPRD) Provinsi Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data primer berupa kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada anggota DPRD Provinsi Jambi sebanyak 55 orang. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah SEM PLS. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa entrepreneur leadership dan kreatifitas pegawai berpengaruh terhadap kinerja skertariat DPRD provinsi Jambi, kreativitas pegawai hanya dapat memediasi hubungan entrepreneur leadership terhadap kinerja sekretariat DPRD Provinsi Jambi, sedangkan variabel, entrepreneur orientation tidak dapat dimediasi oleh kreativitas pegawai

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kinerja Bank Jambi berdasarkan hasil evaluasi kinerja pada perspektif keuangan, pelanggan, proses bisnis internal, serta pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan, serta menganalisis strategi peningkatan kinerja Bank Jambi berdasarkan empat perspektif tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode kuesioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang telah diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data kuantitatif dan teknik analisis data kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa ; (1) kinerja Bank Jambi pada aspek keuangan menunjukkan hasil pencapaian kinerja yang baik, yakni mencapai 110,76% dari target, (2) kinerja Bank Jambi pada aspek pelanggan menunjukkan hasil pencapaian kinerja yang sangat baik, yakni mencapai 125,75% dari target, (3) kinerja Bank Jambi pada aspek proses bisnis internal menunjukkan hasil pencapaian kinerja yang baik, yakni mencapai 107,5% dari target, dan (4) kinerja Bank Jambi pada aspek pertumbuhan dan pembelajaran menunjukkan hasil pencapaian kinerja yang baik, yakni mencapai 109% dari target. Hasil penilaian kinerja secara keseluruhan dilihat dari keempat perspektif tersebut berada pada kategori kualitas kinerja “baik”. Terkait dengan strategi yang telah diterapkan Bank Jambi dalam pencapaian kinerja baik pada aspek keuangan, pelanggan, proses bisnis internal, serta pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan, didapatkan hasil bahwa: (1) strategi pencapaian target kinerja keuangan Bank Jambi yang telah diterapkan meliputi; cross selling product, kerja sama dengan berbagai instansi, pendekatan secara personal kepada nasabah, dan pameran produk, (2) strategi pencapaian target kinerja pelanggan Bank Jambi yang telah diterapkan meliputi; peningkatan kerja sama dengan berbagai instansi, peningkatan frekuensi pameran produk, dan peningkatan kualitas layanan dengan pemberian reward “The Best Frontliner of The Month” dan kegiatan role play, (3) strategi pencapaian target kinerja proses bisnis internal Bank Jambi yang telah diterapkan meliputi; pelaksanaan pembinaan KCP, proses dan analisa kredit, monitoring rekening suspense dan saldo abnormal setiap hari, serta tindak lanjut temuan audit yang dilaksanakan dengan baik, dan (4) strategi pencapaian target kinerja pertumbuhan dan pembelajaran Bank Jambi yang telah diterapkan meliputi; realisasi perencanaan dan pemenuhan kebutuhan SDM sesuai dengan waktu kebutuhan dan formasi, pemutusan dan pengusulan karyawan sesuai dengan waktu dan kebutuhan, pelaksanaan program pendidikan/pelatihan karyawan sesuai dengan anggaran dan jadwal, penyelesaian segala kasus pelanggaran sesuai dengan ketentuan yang telah ditetapkan, serta pembinaan dan peningkatan motivasi pekerja dalam bentuk Forum Peningkatan Kinerja.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the implementation of the strategic development security section activities at the Jambi High Prosecutor's Office in the context of securing the work of national strategic projects and regionally strategic projects in Jambi Province and to determine the effect of intrapreneurship, leadership to satisfaction stakeholder (applicants, service providers, supervisory consultants, etc.) as well as phenomena that occur in these activities such as work not according to the schedule, work not by following with the specifications contained in the contract, lack of quality of work due to pursuing progress, etc. This research was conducted for 2021, using quantitative research methods based on data cross-sectional and collected through a survey questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this study uses Partial Least Square (PLS) with a population of 74 respondents consisting of activity applicants (heads, commitment makers, technical implementation officers), service providers/partners (directors, managers, and field implementers), and consultants supervisors (director, team leader, and field supervisor). The result of this study is intrapreneurship's significant and positive effect on satisfaction stakeholders, Besides that leadership also has a positive and significant impact on satisfaction stakeholders. This study provides insight into how intrapreneurship and leadership in terms of raising personnel and materials as well as coordinating with related parties in securing strategic project development activities, intrapreneurship and leadership have a positive impact on the project being carried out so that it can be carried out time, on target, on budget, and quality to provide satisfaction stakeholder and increase public trust in the effort to maximize the prevention of corruption.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh keterlibatan kerja dan budaya kerja melalui komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja penyuluh Keluarga Berencana pada Dinas Pengendalian Penduduk, Keluarga Berencana, Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak Kabupaten Batanghari. Penyuluh Keluarga Berencana pada Dinas Pengendalian Penduduk, Keluarga Berencana, Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak Kabupaten Batanghari dengan jumlah 56 orang. Dimana teknik penarikan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Sampling Jenuh (Sampling Sensus). Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh dari penyebaran kueseioner, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari studi pustaka, jurnal dan literature lainnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey dan menggunakan analisis data Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan kerja dan budaya kerja secara langsung berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi, begitu pula keterlibatan kerja, budaya kerja, dan komitmen organisasi secara langsung berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja penyuluh. Selanjutnya secara tidak langsung hanya keterlibatan dan budaya kerja juga memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja melalui komitmen organisasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional melalui kepuasan kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Badan Keuangan Daerah Kabupaten Batang Hari. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah pegawai pada Badan Keuangan Daerah Kabupaten Batang Hari yang berjumlah 92 orang pegawai. Ukuran atau jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini ditentukan berdasarkan teori yang dikembangkan oleh Slovin dengan margin error 5% sehingga diperoleh sampel sebanyak 75. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh dari penyebaran kueseioner, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari studi pustaka, jurnal dan literature lainnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey dan menggunakan analisis data Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan transformasional secara langsung langsung dan tidak langsung melalui kepuasan kerja dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kineja pegawai, begitu pula kepuasan kerja motivasi kerja secara langsung berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja kinerja.

Abstract

New Public Management has consequences for demands for bureaucratic reform and for a higher quality of public services for the community. The spirit of creating a results-oriented government has not only surfaced in developed countries, but also in developing countries, including Indonesia. New Public Management emphasizes the bureaucracy to be more professional in managing the country. This professionalism is shown, among other things, by the quality of managing the budget, improving performance management, and using bureaucratic performance measures as a standard measure of success. This study aims to find out how to describe and analyze governance and service excellence on government performance in the Bungo District Government. The sampling technique used was a saturated sample. This study used a questionnaire as a data collection method which was given to all civil servants (PNS) Echelon II, Echelon III and or Head of OPD in the work area of the Bungo Regency Government Office, namely 178 people. The results obtained from this study include the Bungo Regency Government Governance Level in the Good category, the Bungo Regency Government service excellent level in the good category and the Bungo Regency Government Performance level in the Good category. Governance and service excellent are important factors in improving the performance of the Bungo Regency Government, where the higher the level of governance and the Service Excellent level, the more it will improve the Bungo Regency Government's performance. Service Excellent cannot be a moderating variable between the influence of Governance on improving the performance of the Bungo Regency Government

Abstract

This research aims to form a model strategy for community life satisfaction by developing sustainable tourism in cultural heritage sites. This research used mixed method: qualitative method by in-depth interviews with four respondents from local communities, MSMEs, Kawasan Cagar Budaya Nasional (KCBN) Muaro Jambi, government involved in heritage site tourism activities and analyzed using QDA Miner. The quantitative method was by distributing questionnaires using purposive sampling to 200 respondents, and data were processed using SmartPLS to build a holistic model of community life satisfaction in heritage sites. The results of this research are: firstly, social culture and urban landscapes contribute to community satisfaction; secondly, social culture and urban landscape have a significant positive influence on sustainable tourism; thirdly, through sustainable tourism, community life satisfaction will be formed. This research has relevant implications for providing a deeper understanding of the impact of sustainable tourism in improving community life satisfaction in heritage sites by integrating natural values and urban landscape and empowering the local community.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of financial literacy, level of education on the investment decisions of generation Z SMEs, and the mediating effect of financial literacy on the relationship between educational level and investment decisions of Gen Z. The data in this study were obtained by distributing questionnaires to Generation Z in Jambi city using purposive sampling. The data is processed using the Smart-PLS software to test the model and hypothesis. This study found that financial literacy and level of education can influence investment decisions in Generation Z MSME actors. Financial literacy can mediate education level variables and investment decisions in Generation Z MSME actors

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to analyze the impact of overinvestment on firm performance and the moderating role of debt policy, dividend policy in reducing the negative effect of overinvestment on firm performance. This study uses data from a sample of 50 non-financial companies that have debt and consistently pay dividends from 2010 to 2023. Overinvestment is calculated through two methods: the residual value of the new investment equation and the Hodrick-Prescott (HP) filter. The data was then transformed into panel data, and various models such as fixed effect, random effect, and common effect were applied to identify the most appropriate model. This study found a negative correlation between overinvestment and firm performance. Debt policy is a mitigating factor in overcoming agency conflicts and reducing the negative impact of overinvestment on firm performance. Dividend policy is proven effective in reducing the negative impact of overinvestment by limiting excess cash. The combination of debt and dividend policy is identified as a comprehensive strategy to mitigate overinvestment, as it helps limit excessive free cash flow. This combination also lowers financing funds to a minimum level that could potentially lead to a shortage of funds for profitable projects in the future. Careful calculations are required to ensure the company achieves a balance, avoiding the neglect of profitable investments in the future.
