Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran serta penjelasan mengenai guru dalam menerapkan pendekatan kontekstual dalam pembelajaran cerpen. Subjek penelitian ini ialah guru bahasa Indonesia di kelas IX F SMP Negeri 2 Kota Jambi dan objek penelitiannya ialah pembelajaran cerpen dengan menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan analisis. Data yang diperoleh dalam melalui ketiga metode tersebut dianalisis dengan menggunakan deskripsi kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan kepada guru bahasa Indonesia dalam melaksanakan atau menerapkan pendekatan kontekstual pada pembelajaran cerpen sudah terlaksana dengan baik, karena guru sudah memahami langkah-langkah dalam menerapkan pendekatan kontekstual sehingga dengan sesuai konsep sekaligus strategi-strategi yang dilaksanakan, hal ini dapat dilihat dari rata-rata siswa yang telah mencapai KKM yang telah ditentukan oleh guru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan makna denotasi dan makna konotasi pada lima belas puisi dalam antologi puisi Suara Dari Balik Kabut karya Wiyatmi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. data berupa kata, kalimat, bait, dan baris puisi. sumber data adalah buku antologi puisi Suara Dari Balik Kabut karya Wiyatmi. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa analisis dokumen, berupa gambar, tulisan atau hasil karya seseorang. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini terdapat tiga tahapan yaitu: reduksi data, menyajikan data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyair banyak menggunakan makna konotasi dibandingkan makna denotasi. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari data yang ditemukan yaitu sebnyak 26 data makna denotasi dan 32 data makna konotasi.

Abstract

Based on the observations of researchers during PLP at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Jambi City, whenstudents read a narrative text in front of other students, then students do assignments according to the contents of the narrative text they are reading, but there are still students who do not understand the contents of the text, because the text is too long so students become unfocused. Therefore the researcher offers a learning media in the form of Youtube media that can be used by teachers in learning narrative text. The purpose of this researchto describe the use of YouTube as a learning medium for narrative text material in class VII SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Jambi City. The research was conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Jambi City, the subject of this research was a Class VII Indonesian teacher. The approach in this research is a qualitative approach. This type of research, descriptive. The data obtained is in the form of student work in using YouTube as a learning medium. The results showed that the use of YouTube as a learning medium for class VII narrative text material at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Jambi City in its implementation was in accordance with the learning implementation plan. Starting from the teacher carrying out preliminary activities, then in the main stages the teacher explains, asks questions and determines the results of student work to be made, the teacher helps students determine themes, determines schedules for collecting work results, in closing activities the teacher concludes the learning that has been carried out.

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of the research was to determine the effect of using serial image media on the ability to write procedural texts for class VII students at SMP Negeri 30 Muaro Jambi. This research was carried out from January 16 2024 to January 29 2024. The sampling technique used random sampling technique. Data collection techniques use tests, documentation and observation. In this research the tests carried out were pre-test and post-test. The data analysis technique in this research is very important to determine learning outcomes in the learning process using series image media. Before analyzing data, things that need to be considered are testing the prerequisites for data analysis and hypothesis testing. The research results show that the use of serial image media in procedural text writing skills has a significant influence in improving students' abilities in writing procedural texts.Keywords: Series Images, Writing Procedure Text

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model think pair share pada pembelajaran teks eksposisi siswa kelas VIII A SMPN 22 Kota Jambi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Jenis penelitian kualitatif ini digunakan untuk meneliti kondisi secara ilmiah dengan terdiri dari empat tahapan: 1) Observasi, 2) Wawancara, 3) Tes, 4) Dokumentasi hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model think pair share pada pembelajaran teks eksposisi. Deskripsi dalam penelitian ini berpedoman pada rancangan pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) yang telah disusun oleh guru, serta pedoman pelaksanaan model pembelajaran think pair share. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan model think pair share dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia Kurikulum 2013 khususnya pada materi pembelajaran teks eksposisi di kelas VIII A SMPN 22 Kota Jambi telah terlaksana dengan baik dan sistematis sesuai dengan langkah-langkah dalam model pembelajaran think pair share, yaitu guru memberi waktu kepada siswa untuk membagi kelompok secara berpasangan dan berdiskusi, kemudian menyampaikan hasil diskusi masing-masing kelompok secara bergantian di depan kelas. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, disarankan kepada guru hendaknya dalam pembelajaran materi teks eksposisi ataupun materi yang lainnya untuk dapat menggunakan model think pair share yang lebih cermat, baik dalam proses perencanaan maupun dalam pelaksanaannya sehingga dapat melahirkan kreatifitas bagi setiap siswa.Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran, Teks Eksposisi, Think Pair Share

Abstract

Pedoman Umum Ejaan Yang Disempurnakan (EYD) edisi V merupakan penyempurnaan dari Pedoman Umum Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia (EBI) melalui surat Keputusan Kepala Badan Pengembangan dan Pembinaan Bahasa Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, Dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia Nomor 0424/I/BS.00.01/2022. Hal ini menjadi perhatian penting khususnya bagi penggunanya. Penyuluhan ini pastinya yang paling urgensi yakni bagi tenaga kependidikan di sekolah-sekolah. Urgensi ini mengingat tenaga kependidikan atau administrasi kantor yang merupakan tugas pokok persuratan surat dinas bagi sekolah. Temuan di lapangan khususnya di Kabupaten Muaro Jambi masih banyak temuan yang didapatkan bahwa banyak tenaga kependidikan yang tidak memperhatikan ejaan bahasa Indoensia yang baik dan benar dalam penulisan persuratan dinas. Metode yang digunakan berbentuk pendampingan yang meliputi pelatihan, praktik penulisan, dan evaluasi hasil surat dinas. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kualitas surat dinas, khususnya dalam penggunaan tanda baca, penulisan kata depan, serta penulisan singkatan dan akronim sesuai dengan EYD edisi V. Pendampingan ini terbukti efektif dalam memperbaiki kualitas administrasi surat-menyurat di sekolah dan meningkatkan profesionalisme tenaga kependidikan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the significant influence of implementing the Round Robin Brainstorming (RRB) typecooperative learning model on the ability to review fiction works of class VIII studentsat SMPN 17 Batanghari. This research usesa quantitative approach with a Quasi Experimental design. Two groups were used in this research: an experimental group and acontrol group, with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The research results show that the application of the RRB typecooperative learning model has asignificant influence on increasing students' ability to review works of fiction. This is proven bythe average scorefor the experimental class which reached 81.41, while the control class only reached 73.43. Thus, the RRB typecooperative learning model has proven to be effective in improving the ability to review works of fiction of class VIII students atSMPN 17 Batanghari.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low language skills of students which influence their interest in readingand so on. This has a negative impact on learning outcomes both inside and outside formal institutions. This researchaims to determine the ability of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program students to describethe morphological terms/vocabulary they have studied. The method used was qualitative with a descriptive approachthrough interviews with resource persons at PBSI FKIP Jambi University class of 2021. The research results showedthat low language skills and interest in reading had an influence on participants' learning outcomes. It is hoped thatthis research can contribute to the field of education, especially as input for students and curriculum improvement.

Abstract

: This research is included in the type of qualitative research. And belongs to the descriptive type. Thistype of descriptive research is used to describe the analysis of the intrinsic and extrinsic elements of Jambiregional fairy tales for Indonesian language learning materials. In this case, the researcher will look at whatintrinsic and extrinsic elements are contained in Jambi regional fairy tales and find out what moral values arein Jambi regional fairy tales and find out what fairy tales are related to the CP of the seventh gradeIndependent Middle School curriculum. The results of the research are intrinsic and extrinsic elements as wellas teaching materials in Jambi Regional fairy tales which are contained in 5 books, namely a book with the titleLegend of Bukit Perak, a book with the title Legend of the Chinese Mirror Princess, a book with the title TheOrigin of the King of Jambi, a book with the title Lubuk Bumbun and the book with the title Kerinci RegionalFolklore about Putri Tangguk, for intrinsic elements it includes theme, characters, plot, setting, language styleand point of view, while for extrinsic elements it only includes moral values and social values, for valuesreligion was not found. The Jambi Regional Fairy Tales contained in these 5 books are included in teachingmaterials because they can teach readers various moral values and provide new knowledge related to thelanguage style of fairy tales

Abstract

This research aims to describe the application of the Project Based Learning model in learning to write posters for class VIIII students. The approach used in this research is qualitative Approach, descriptive research type. Research data in the form of words, phrases, sentences,and a paragraph explaining the application of the Project Based Learning model. Data source for This research is a teaching module for Indonesian language teachers in class VIII. The results of this research show that is the application of the Project Based Learning model in learning to write posters for class VIII students, in the steps of determining a project, designing a project plan, preparing a schedule, and monitoring the progress of student projects, carried out in accordance with the Project syntax Based Learning Model. However, at the trial stage the project results have not yet been carried out optimally due to time constraints, so teachers assess based on student project results only. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the implementation of Project Based Learning The overall poster writing model for class VIII students is implemented according to the steps Project Based Learning model designed in teaching modules.
