Abstract

Batik is an Indonesian intangible cultural heritage that needs to be preserved. Indonesia has a variety of batik patterns such as Sasambo (Sasak, Samawa, and Mbojo) batik patterns from West Nusa Tenggara. This study aims to develop Sasambo batik patterns by using the Lindenmayer System (L-System). The Sasambo batik patterns developed in this study are of two types: Lumbung (rice barn) and Kangkung (water spinach) patterns. By applying the L-System, there are three different ways that can be done, namely (1) making the Sasambo batik patterns as axioms, (2) making the batik patterns as generators, and (3) combining the Sasambo patterns with fractals. Based on the new patterns produced using the L-System, the selection of generators should have the initial and final segments which are both in a single line position, so that the original patterns unchanged.

Abstract

The fuzzy set theory is mathematics that applies fuzziness characteristics, so that gives the truth value at interval [0,1]. It is different from the crisp set that gives a truth value of 0 if it is not a member and 1 if it is a member. The theory of fuzzy sets has been developed continuously by scientists. One of the developments of the fuzzy set is the fuzzy metric space which the definition was introduced by George and Veeramani. Based on the analysis results, it is found that every metric space X if and only if X is fuzzy metric space. As a result, the topological properties of the metric space still apply to the fuzzy metric space

Abstract

The pipeline network is one of the most complex optimization problems consisting of several elements: reservoirs, pipes, valves, etc. The pipeline network is designed to deliver water to consumers by considering the demand and adequate pressure on the water pipe network. The main problem in designing reliable pipelines is the cost. The amount of cost that most influences the design of pipelines is the diameter of the pipe used. Therefore, this study aims to combine (hybrid) simulated annealing algorithm with genetic algorithm to optimize water pipe networks. The simulated annealing algorithm is the main algorithm in finding the optimal cost.Meanwhile, the genetic algorithm will assist in the pipeline update process using the roulette wheel selection. Simulation data is used to test the hybrid algorithm performance compared to the standard simulated annealing algorithm. The results show that the simulated annealing hybrid algorithm is able to get a more optimal cost in designing a water pipe network compared to the standard simulated annealing algorithm. Keywords: Optimization, Epanet 2.0, Simulated Annealing, and Genetic Algorithm

Abstract

The intersection graph of a finite group G is a graph (V,E) where V is a set of all non-trivial subgroups of G and E is a set of edges where two distinct subgroups H_i , H_j  are said to be adjacent if and only if H_i \cap H_j \neq {e} . This study discusses the intersection graph of a dihedral group D_{2n} specifically the subgraph, degree of vertices, radius, diameter, girth, and domination number. From this study, we obtained that if n=p^2 then the intersection graph of D_{2n} is containing complete subgraph K_{p+2} and \gamma(\Gamma_{D_{2n}})=p.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected various aspects of life in Indonesia, one of which is the education sector. For example, during the COVID-19 pandemic, most junior high school teachers, especially at the Islamic Junior High School Pondok Pesantren At-Tamimy, only used textbooks as teaching materials which of course were less effective and interactive. Therefore, this Community Service (PkM) activity aims to introduce teachers at the Islamic Junior High School Pondok Pesantren At-Tamimy with interactive e-modules for online learning using Canva. The results of this activity indicate that the implementation of this Community Service Activity has been running quite well and smoothly. Through this workshop, the teachers of the Islamic Junior High School Pondok Pesantren At-Tamimy were given tutorials on making interactive e-modules which can actually not only be used in the online learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic, but can also be used for more efficient, effective offline learning. and fun because teachers can be creative in making e-module designs as attractive as possible for students. Based on the explanation of the results of the implementation of this activity, it can be concluded that the team has carried out the workshop well, smoothly, and fun because teachers can be creative in making e-module designs that are as attractive as possible.

Abstract

One of the important aspects that play a role in Increasing company productivity is work safety and security. Work carried out in workshops often causes work accidents. With this system, the company will be able to minimize the rate of work accidents, decreasing the accident rate and the severity of accidents from year to year will increase the productivity of the company's workforce. Based on this phenomenon, the purpose of this study is to determine work accidents and the effect of productivity on the workshop so as to increase work productivity and propose improvements to reduce work accidents in the workshop. The research was conducted by looking for the frequency of accidents, the severity of accidents, the tendency of accidents and the level of work productivity, and also using the FMEA and FTA methods. Based on the results of research on the level of work productivity in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 of 0.0047; 0.0045; 0.0047; and 0.0051. In 2017 to 2018 it decreased, in 2018 to 2019 it increased by 4.44% and in 2019 to 2020 it increased by 8.52%. From the FMEA calculation, the highest RPN value was obtained, namely an accident that caused a torn hand with a value of 52 due to sleepy workers, lack of experience and lack of training. From the calculation of the FTA with a torn wrist accident, a probability of 0.03 is obtained. This figure shows that the accident is natural, if the probability is close to 1, the accident is unnatural and very dangerous and detrimental.

Abstract

Metode pembelajaran merupakan salah satu faktor yang menentukan keberhasilan dalam suatu proses pembelajaran, termasuk didalamnya pembelajaran matematika. Metode problem solving merupakan salah satu metode pembelajaran yang berbasis masalah yang dapat membuat proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik dan menyenangkan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pemahaman kepada siswa tentang penerapan prosedur dan strategi problem solving model Polya dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan matematika yang berifat rutin maupun tidak rutin. Hasil kegiatan memperlihatkan bahwa siswa SMA Negeri 1 Praya Lombok Tengah belum familiar dengan metode ini, yang tercermin dalam jawaban siswa terhadap angket yang diberikan. Terhadap penerapan metode problem solving model Polya dalam penyelesaian soal matematika, jawaban siswa berbeda untuk tipe soal rutin dan yang tidak rutin. Untuk soal tipe rutin 87,50 % siswa menjawab dengan benar, sedangkan untuk tipe soal yang tidak rutin 56,26 % siswa menjawab tetapi belum maksimal memanfaatkan metode ini untuk memperoleh solusi dari permasalahan yang diberikan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pembelajaran di setiap jenjang pendidikan termasuk di sekolah dasar selama masa pandemi Covid-19 ini tidak dapat dilaksanakan melalui tatap muka langsung. Akibatnya, guru dituntut untuk dapat mengelola pembelajaran secara daring. Sebagian besar guru memanfaatkan media yang paling sederhana yakni dengan menggunakan media WhatsApp. Akan tetapi, media ini memiliki keterbatasan dalam hal layanan yang dapat digunakan guru dalam mengelola kelas. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengenalan terhadap para guru sekolah dasar khususnya di Kota Mataram berupa alternatif media pembelajaran daring yaitu Google Classroom dan alat evaluasinya menggunakan Google Form. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan melalaui webinar menggunakan flatform aplikasi zoom meeting. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah para guru SD se-Kota Mataram diberikan tutorial menggunakan media pembelajaran digital yang bisa digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran daring selama masa pandemic covid-19, yakni Google Classroom dan Google Form. Diskusi untuk para peserta dengan pemateri juga diadakan dan para guru antusias bertanya selama sesi ini. Berdasarkan pengamatan selama pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa webinar telah dilaksanakan dengan cukup baik dan lancar, serta para guru sudah mampu membuat media pembelajaran daring seperti yang sudah diberikan

Abstract

A torsion module over a principal ideal domain has special properties related to the way how it is decomposed either into primary or cyclic submodules. This paper carries out a special case of such module over the ring of integer, which consists of all matrices with entries from the set of integer modulo n. The result shows that its decomposition depends on the prime factors of n.

Abstract

The Study of algebraic structures, especially on graphs theory, leads to anew topics of research in recent years. In this paper, the algebraic structures that will be represented by a coprime graph are the dihedral group and its subgroups. The coprime graph of a group G, denoted by \Gamma_D_2n is a graph whose vertices are elements of G and two distinct vertices a and b are adjacent if only if (|a,|b|)=1. Some properties of the coprime graph of a dihedral group D_2n are obtained. One of the results is if n is prime then \Gamma_D_2n is a complete bipartite graph. Moreover, if n is the power of prime then \Gamma_D_2n is a multipartite graph.
