Abstract

Manado with the activities of infrastructure development and the approximate increase in the area of settlements increasingly faster due to the rate of population growth, while the limited area of the city requires environmental balancing existence such as the provision of public green open space to create a sustainable city. The purpose of this study is to analyze the availability of public green open space, analyzing the needs of public green open spaces and the adequacy of public green open spacesin Manado city.The data in this research consisting of primary and secondary.Primary data is derived from field observations and secondary data is derived from related institute.Data were analyzed by using Geographic information system (GIS) refers to regional spatial plan of Manado city year 2014-2034 and based on the total of population that refers to regulation of Minister of Public Works No. 05/PRT/M/2008.The result of this research indicates that from the total area of 15726.03 hectares, Manado city has the availability of green open space of 1537.02 hectares while, the needs on regional spatial plan of Manado city stated for 3848.16 hectares. Manado city would still require additional expansion area of green open space of 2311,14 hectares.Based on total of population, sub-districts that has been provided for the provisions of public regional spatial plan only Bunaken, Malalayang and Mapanget..Keywords: Availability, Needs, Public Green Open Space

Abstract

Land is a very important factor in life, so legal certainty and legal protection for owners of the land they own are very important. Complete Systematic Land Registration is one way to accelerate land registration in order to provide legal certainty and legal protection as well as improve community welfare. In 2019, Tambelang village is one of the villages that is the location of PTSL with low achievement for cluster 1 (certificate products). The purpose of this study was to determine the causes of the low achievement of cluster 1 and strategies to increase the achievement of cluster 1 from cluster 2 and cluster 3 as well as updating cluster 4 data. This type of research is qualitative and quantitative research. Qualitative research is to determine the cause of the low achievement of K1 as a product of PTSL certificates and quantitative research to determine strategies for increasing certificate products or K1 from K2, K3 and updating data using SWOT analysis. The data in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. Sampling using proposive sampling techniques and conducting in-depth interviews and conducting FGD (Focus Group Discussion). The results of this study can be concluded that the cause of the low achievement of K1 in the implementation of PTSL is socialization. less than optimal, lack of juridical personnel, a fee of Rp. 350,000, - the community still lacks understanding of the importance and benefits of certificates and problematic land parcels. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the strategy of increasing the achievement of PTSL from cluster 2 to cluster 1, by means of the village government facilitating the resolution of problems related to land parcel boundaries and land ownership by amicable deliberation by providing a place in the General Meeting Hall, cluster 3 to cluster 1, by means of the village government provides cross subsidies related to administrative costs, carries out cooperation between the Regional Government and BPN in the context of providing administrative funds for certificate management and utilizing technological developments to reach people who are outside the location, updating cluster 4 data, by utilizing the understanding of physical officers and village governments to improve public understanding of the importance of plotting and adding staff archives to improve the quality of archiving.Keywords: Strategy, Land, Land Registration, Legal Certainty

Abstract

Indonesia is an agricultural country with most of its people working in agricultural sectors and should depend for much of its life on agricultural land. The decline in agricultural land is due to the increasing population. This is due to the fact that the agricultural sector has been reclaimed.The objective of this research  is to analyze the agricultural land carrying capacity  in Eastern Passi Sub Districts. The study went from preparation to final reporting of the study starting from  October 2020 to January 2021. The data in this study is secondary data, which stems from Badan Pusat Statistik, the Eastern Passi District Office and Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian East Passi Sub District The result of this study showed that there was 3 villages has been able to grow enough food to sustain its people although have not been able to grow enough food for its population , namely the central village of Pangian,  East Sinsingon, and New Insil and there was ten  villages have not been able to grow enough food for its people, namely the West Pangian , Pangian, West Poopo , Poopo, South Poopo, Manembo, West Sinsingon, Sinsingon, Insil, and Mobuya.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to formulate a strategy in developing the Roasted Bean Agroindustry  of  “UD.  Merpati”  in Tombasian Atas Village, West Kawangkoan District. The research was conducted from February to April 2021. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. The analysis used in this study was the SWOT analysis method. Based on the SWOT diagram analysis, the position of the Roasted Peanut Agroindustry “UD. Merpati” was in quadrant I, which was an aggressive strategy. The strategies needed to be carried out were  maintaining the taste of the product, maximizing a good workforce, maximizing cooperative relationships, utilizing business licenses to further expand the target market, utilizing support from the government, utilizing technology, increasing promotions, increasing capital through related agencies, maintaining and improving product quality, collaborating with many peanut farmers, maximizing raw materials from “Sejati” farmer groups, using social media to attract consumers, making product packaging more attractive, increasing stock of raw materials.

Abstract

This research was conducted in North Bolaang Mongondow Regency. Primary data were obtained from direct observation and interviews with respondents, namely cocoa farmers, farming communities and village government officials which were selected using purposive sampling method. While secondary data were obtained  from related agencies. The purpose of this study was to observe and measure the impact of the cocoa plantation development program on the socio-economic conditions of farmers. Credibility test was used to test the validity of research data; triangulation method was used to see the social conditions of cocoa farmers; and tabulation, percentage and T test were applied to see economic conditions.From the results of the analysis, it could be seen that the cocoa plantation development program had a significant impact on the surrounding community, especially the beneficiary farmers because it had changed social conditions including health, beliefs, norms, networks, and patterns of cocoa cultivation. In addition, it provided changes to economic conditions including an increase in the type of housing and an increase in farmers' income.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the contribution of leek farming to family income in Palelon Village, Modoinding District, South Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted from December 2019 to February 2020. The data used came from primary data and secondary data and then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the amount of income received by leek farmers in Palelon Village, Modoinding District was IDR 3,308,561 per farmer and IDR 4,726,516 per hectare. Contribution to family income was 86.48%. Based on these results, it could be concluded that the contribution of leek farming to family income was very high.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze added value analysis of palm sap processing in Poopo Vilage East Passi Sub District Bolaang Mongondow Regency. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data and then analyzed descriptively.The results showed that the added value in processing palm sap into palm sugar was Rp.39,875, while for processing captikus the added value was Rp.9.964. The added value ratio obtained in palm sugar processing is 59%, while the added value ratio obtained in captikus processing is 28%. In this study, although the added value of captikus processing is moderate, the people of Poopo village prefer to develop a captikus processing business compared to palm sugar processing. Due to the long process and in the future it will be very profitable for farmers, so farmers prefer to process captikus compared to processing palm sugar.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the outpouring of farmers' labor in lowland rice farming. The research was conducted in South Tumani Village, Maesaan Sub District, South Minahasa Regency. Data was collected using a survey method using primary and secondary data. The number of samples of paddy rice farmers was determined to be 20 people. Sampling using purposive sampling method, the sample is taken intentionally. Data analysis was done descriptively. The types of lowland rice farming activities under study include soil processing, seeding, planting, weeding, fertilizing, eradicating pests and diseases, harvesting, transporting and drying or drying. The research results showed that the average outpouring of farmer labor on 1 hectare rice farming is 103.42 HKSP/Ha, consisting of 89.47 HKSP/Ha and 13.95 HKSP/Ha. The largest workforce occurred in planting activities, namely 33.94 HKSP/Ha or 32.82%, followed by harvesting activities of 32.09 HKSP/Ha or 31.03% and land processing activities of 31.66 HKSP/Ha or 30, 61%.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify the availability of houses and the distribution of houses in Manado City and analyze the housing backlog and the direction of housing development policies in Manado City in 2014-2021. This research was conducted from March 2022 to May 2022. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. Primary data in the form of interviews and direct observations in the field, while secondary data BPS North Sulawesi Province and the Department of Housing and Settlements Manado City. The data analysis method uses Overlay Analysis and Housing Backlog Calculation. The research results showed that the availability of houses in Manado City in 2014-2021 increased by 15,098 housing units, the three sub-districts with the highest number of houses were Mapanget District (21,693 housing units), Malalayang District (18,341 housing units) and Wanea District (13,261). Overall, the housing backlog from 2014-2021 showed a decline in 10,380 housing units (29,827 housing units to 19,447 housing units). Policies and programs implemented by the government are still not optimal in achieving their goals.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the role of agricultural extension workers in Kanonang Empat Village, West Kawangkoan Sub District, Minahasa Regency. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data. Sampling technique in this study with purposive sampling technique. The number of sample farmer groups is 2 groups of respondents, Torona and Kompas with each having 20 members. Data collection methods are observation, interview and documentation methods. Variable levels of the role of the extension worker that were measured were the role of the extensionist as a motivator, the role of the extensionist as an educator, the role of the extensionist as a catalyst, the role of the extensionist as an organizer, the role of the extensionist as a communicator and the role of the extensionist as an adviser. Rolelevel variables are measured using a Likert scale. The research results showed that the role of agricultural extension workers in the Torona and Kompas farmer groups was very instrumental, both in their roles as motivators, educators, catalysts, organizers, communicators with the role scores obtained ranging from 264 to 271 and their roles as advisors with scores obtained ranging from 177 and 179. Played a big role in this because the extension workers had provided counseling materials according to the farmer's requests, were on time in conducting counseling, had a good attitude, and prioritized farmer groups in Kanonang Empat Village in terms of distributing aid and information.
