Abstract

This study aims to describe the marketing mix of Jessivar shanghai beans in Talikuran Barat Village, Kawangkoan Utara District, Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted from May to July 2023. The selection of respondents was done intentionally. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from respondents through direct interviews using a prepared questionnaire. Secondary data was obtained from other information data related to the research. The sampling method used purposive sampling, and the samples taken were 1 Jessivar shanghai bean business owner as a producer and 17 kiosk owners in the Kawangkoan area as consumers who bought shanghai beans at the Jessivar shanghai bean business. The results showed that the Jessivar shanghai bean marketing mix has a good assessment by consumers as seen from the total overall score of 540 with an interpretation of 88.23 percent being in an agreed assessment based on aspects of product, price, place, promotion, and there are several variables that must be considered and improved such as the use of promotional media and business locations that are easily accessible to consumers.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze the risk of wet-rice farming in Radey Village, Tenga Subdistrict, South Minahasa Regency. The research lasted for 2 months from September to October 2023. The research was conducted in Radey Village, Tenga District, South Minahasa Regency. Data collection methods in this study were collected through primary data obtained through direct interviews with wet-rice farmers in Radey Village using questionnaires. Secondary data were taken from village and sub-district offices as well as previous research reports, journals, and from the internet related to the research. The sampling method was purposive sampling. The number of samples in this study were 20 respondents who owned farmland (owners) to determine priority risks. Data analysis used in this research is the FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) method. Criteria in assessing risk refers to The Basic of FMEA by McDermott with a scale of 1 to 3. Calculate the priority level of each risk source based on the Risk Priority Number (RPN) value. The results showed that there are 2 sources of risk faced by rice farmers that are directly related to rice plants and affect rice farming, namely the risk of production risk sources and price and marketing risks, production risks as many as 4 risks, namely strong winds, pest and disease attacks, erratic weather and climate, high rainfall intensity. Price and marketing risks are 2 difficulties in the process of selling grain, and expensive fertilizer prices. Based on the calculation of the RPN (Risk Priority Number) value, there are 3 risks out of 6 risks faced by rice farmers that must be prioritized. The first risk that must be prioritized first is uncertain weather/climate with an RPN value of 14.25, the second risk of high rainfall intensity with an RPN value of 12.16, and the third risk of strong winds with an RPN value of 10.72.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the income of farmers who cultivate land under coconut trees with intercropping. This research uses primary data and secondary data. Primary data is a source of data obtained directly from original sources or not through intermediaries. Meanwhile, secondary data is data sourced from the Tontalete Village office, Kema District, North Minahasa Regency and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). Sampling was carried out randomly (Simple Random Sampling). The total research sample was 13 corn farmers and 2 chili farmers. The research results were analyzed using farming income analysis. The results of this study show that farmers utilizing coconut plantation land with intercropping in Tontalete Village, Kema District, North Minahasa Regency, obtained an average production cost of corn intercropping respondents amounting to IDR8.445.822,00 per hectare, with revenue of IDR21.868.750,00 per hectare, resulting in an income of IDR13.422.929,00 per hectare. Meanwhile, respondents growing intercropped chili had an average production cost of IDR10.865.342,00 per hectare, with revenue of IDR69.307.857,00 per hectare, and income of IDR58.442.515,00 per hectare over 8 harvesting periods.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of social capital in lowland rice farmer groups in Tatengesan Village, Pusomaen District, Southeast Minahasa Regency. This research was carried out from September to October 2021. The data collected in this study were primary data obtained from direct interviews with members of lowland rice farmer groups using a questionnaire. Secondary data was obtained from the Tatengesan Village Office, as well as data related to research taken from the internet. Sampling was done by purposive sampling, which was as many as 20 samples. The results of the study showed the role of social capital in the lowland rice farmer group in Tatengesan Village that the role index had a total score of 1.197 with a percentage of 79.8% included in the role category.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of agricultural extension workers in farmer groups in Tember Village, Tompaso District, Minahasa Regency. The research was conducted from July to October 2021. The research was located in Tember Village, Tompaso Lama District, Minahasa Regency. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data. Sampling was done intentionally (purposive sampling), as many as 20 farmers from 50 farmers who are members of the Maesa farmer group. Furthermore, the data were analyzed descriptively using a Likert scale. The results showed that the role of the extension worker in the farmer group obtained from the respondents stated that the average respondent's assessment was in the role category, where the variable role of the extension worker was as a guide (76.66%), the variable of the role of the instructor as organizer and dynamist (80%) and the variable role extension workers as technical trainers (85.55%).

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the income and feasibility of papaya farming in Tatelu Rondor Village, Dimembe District, North Minahasa Regency. This research was carried out from June to August 2023. Sample selection in this study used purposive sampling method. The number of research respondents was 5 farmers. This research uses two types of data, namely primary and secondary data. The data analysis used is quantitative descriptive analysis using R/C Ratio analysis. The research results show that the revenue and cost ratio (R/C Ratio) of Bangkok papaya farming in Tatelu Rondor Village, Dimembe District is 1.86. The results of this analysis show that this farming is profitable and worth pursuing because the R/C Ratio value is > 1. The income of farmer respondents from Bangkok papaya farming in Tatelu Rondor Village is IDR7,572,020 with an average income of IDR1,514,404.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of social capital in the Tekad Bersama Farmer Group in Minanga Village, Posumaen District, Southeast Minahasa Regency. The research lasted for 2 months, from November to December 2022, conducted in Minanga Village, Posumaen Sub-district, Southeast Minahasa Regency. The data used in this research is primary data conducted by direct interviews to rice paddy farmers, while secondary data is obtained from the internet, books, journals and from the Minanga Village Office and reports that have a close relationship with the research. The sampling method in this study uses a purposive sampling method to one Tekat Bersama Farmer Group that has cultivated rice paddy plants, with a total of 16 respondents who cultivate rice paddy plants, landowners who are around the research location. The analysis used in this research is the Likert scaling analysis method, analyzing the role of social capital in farmer groups. The results showed that the role of social capital in the Tekad Bersama Farmer Group in Minanga Village in the role of trust got a score of 351 with a percentage value of 87.75%, in the role of the network got a score of 350 with a percentage value of 87.5%, and in the role of norms got a score of 333 with a percentage value of 83.25%, so that the overall score obtained from 16 respondents of farmer group members was 1,034 with a percentage of 86.16% which was classified as very instrumental.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the profitability of “Tinutuan Marlan” Restaurant in Bahu, Malalayang District, Manado City. The research was conducted over a period of 3 (three) months from September to November 2023 at “Tinutuan Marlan” Restaurant in Bahu, Malalayang District, Manado City. Primary data for this study were obtained through direct interviews with the owner of “Tinutuan Marlan” Restaurant, using a questionnaire as a data collection tool. Secondary data included business records from “Tinutuan Marlan” Restaurant and internet sources such as journals. The collected data were analyzed descriptively and presented in tabular form. Data analysis in this study included production cost analysis, revenue analysis, and profit analysis. The results of the study indicate that “Tinutuan Marlan” Restaurant in Bahu, Malalayang District, Manado City is profitable. The total weekly revenue received is IDR6,126,000, total weekly expenses are IDR3,428,250, resulting in a weekly profit of IDR2,697,750. For daily calculations over 6 days a week, the restaurant receives IDR1,021,000 per day in revenue, incurs IDR571,375 in daily expenses, and achieves a daily profit of IDR449,625.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the extent of profit received by the company from the sales of the Eufraino product at UD Makaaruien in Manado City within one production month. This research was conducted over two months, from June to July 2023, at UD Makaaruien in Malalayang District, Manado City. The research method used is a case study at UD Makaaruien in Manado City. Data collection was performed using primary data obtained directly through interviews with the owner of UD Makaaruien using a prepared questionnaire. The data collected in this study were analyzed using profit analysis, which involves calculating the difference between revenue and costs incurred. The collected data are presented in table form and explained descriptively. The results show that the Eufraino product business at UD Makaaruien in Malalayang District, Manado City, is profitable. UD Makaaruien incurred an average cost of IDR3,129,829 per production month, with an average revenue of IDR5,129,000 per production month, resulting in an average profit of IDR1,999,171.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the marketing mix of vegetables at Jumbo Pasar Swalayan Manado. This research took place for 4 months starting from July to October 2023. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained through direct interviews with Jumbo Pasar Swalayan employees and vegetable consumers using a questionnaire. Secondary data is obtained from literature or references related to the research conducted. With a total of 60 respondents. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling. The data analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis. The results showed that Jumbo Pasar Swalayan has implemented 6 aspects of the marketing mix very well including product, price, place, promotion, process, people and physical evidence. However, there is one that is classified as not well implemented, namely the promotion aspect.
