Abstract

Tourists have a vital role in the sustainability of a tourist destination. Edelweiss Park Agrotourism is a nature-based tourist destination managed by the local community, or Community Based Tourism (CBT). During the Covid - 19 pandemic still received visits from tourists. Researchers tried to examine from which areas tourists came to visit Edelweis Park Agrotourism during a pandemic using descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis with a total sample of 100 which was determined using the accidental sampling method.From the discussion, it can be concluded that the characteristics of visitors based on the area of origin are divided into two, the first, are tourists who come from Bali spread from Denpasar, Bangli, Karangasem, Gianyar, Tabanan, Badung, and Klungkung. While from outside Bali, they are distributed from the areas of Lombok, Banyuwangi, West Java, East Nusa Tenggara (Kupang, Sumba, Flores), Surabaya, Jakarta, Tangerang, and West Kalimantan; The characteristics of visitors based on gender were dominated by female visitors as much as 64%; The characteristics of visitors based on average age are dominated by those aged 18 to 24 years with a total of 49 people (49%). Characteristics of visitors based on occupation, dominated by visitors who work as private employees as many as 53 people (53%); The characteristics of visitors based on the frequency of visits are dominated by first-time visitors (84%); Visitor characteristics based on information sources are dominated by information obtained from social media (71%).

Abstract

This research aims to examine three problem factors—first, the characteristics of the tebasan operating in Madenan Village. The second relates to the decision-making basis for determining the value of the penebas. The last is business management. The types and sources of data used were primary and secondary. Respondents in this study were 13 redeemers operating in Madenan Village. Data analysis was used to determine the characteristics, and decision-making basis. Business management used qualitative descriptive analysis, and in determining the decision-making basis for determining the value of the penebas, a Guttman scale was used to get a firm answer. The results showed that the characteristics of penebas in Madenan Village based on age are in the productive age category, which impacts performance and productivity. Based on decision-making, experience plays an important role in the calculation of the interpretation of the penebas that will determine the accuracy of the penebas intuition. In business management, employee monitoring plays an important role in determining the suitability of the interpretation results to reality.

Abstract

The emergence of negative effects associated with conventional agriculture encourages a transition from conventional to modern agriculture. Hydroponic farming, which utilizes water as a growing medium, is one form of modern agriculture. This research aimed to find out the management of farming business governance of hydroponic greenhouse products in Greater Malang, which includes commodities marketed, marketing institutions involved, the form of marketing channels that occur, and marketing functions used by analyzing marketing margins and farmer's share and knowing the corporate system between traders of hydroponic greenhouse products in Greater Malang. This study analyzed the data using qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods. Moreover, this study utilized ten samples determined by purposive sampling with consideration the aim of this research is clear, namely to find out the marketing of hydroponics greenhouse products in Greater Malang. In addition, the sample for this study was selected using the snowball sampling method, which sampled the marketing channels of the previous ten samples. The results of this study indicate that the management of hydroponic greenhouse vegetables in Greater Malang begins with the most frequently traded product, in this case, lettuce. Participating marketing institutions included farmers, collecting traders, retailers, restaurant consumers, and end consumers. Level 1 marketing channel is the channel with the most consumers. The marketing functions used are the exchange function, the procurement function, and the facilitating function. Level 0 marketing channels have no marketing margin value because the price farmers receive is identical to that of consumers. Marketing channel level 0 for all commodities and marketing channel level 1 for all commodities are deemed efficient for the farmer's share. The cooperative system among hydroponic greenhouse vegetable sellers in Greater Malang is harmonious, contributing to a healthy market atmosphere.

Abstract

Bali merupakan salah satu provinsi di Indonesia yang sangat terkenal sebagai destinasi  pariwisata dunia. Salah satu daerah yang berkaitan erat dengan pariwisata Bali dan sebagian besar masyarakatnya bekerja pada sektor tersebut adalah Desa Adat Legian. Curahan waktu kerja rata-rata penduduk Desa Adat Legian pun sangat padat namun pandemi covid-19 membawa dampak pada seluruh kegiatan sosial ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : 1) Menganalisis karakteristik pekerjaan penduduk sebelum dan sesudah pandemi, 2) Menganalisis curahan waktu kerja penduduk Desa Adat Legian sebelum dan sesudah pandemi, 3) Mengindentifikasi sumber-sumber pendapatan penduduk Desa Adat Legian pada saat pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Informan data penelitian diperoleh melalui wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik pekerjaan dan curahan waktu kerja penduduk adat di Desa Adat Legian mengalami perubahan, dimana sebelum covid-19 karakteristik pekerjaan dan jenis pekerjaan penduduk desa adat lebih banyak pada sektor pariwisata dan pada saat covid-19 berubah lebih banyak yang melakukan usaha sendiri seperti berjualan. Untuk curahan waktu kerja penduduk desa adat mengalami perubahan pada kepala keluarga dan istri sedangkan pada anak rata-rata masih tetap sama. Sedangkan untuk sumber pendapatan penduduk adat di Desa Adat Legian rata-rata tertinggi masih di dapat dari tabungan yang dikumpulkan pada saat sebelum covid-19.

Abstract

Malang Raya is one of the vegetable-producing areas in East Java leading to many latest innovations related to vegetable cultivation, such as the hydroponic greenhouse system. This study aims to determine human resource management in hydroponic greenhouse farming in the Malang Raya area through business characteristics, work types, company organizational structure, human resource management functions, payroll and bonuses, and labor allocation. This research used qualitative research methods that were processed by data reduction using Excel with data collected from 15 managers and actors of hydroponic greenhouse farms located in the Malang Raya area. Meanwhile, the data processing method was descriptive quantitative and descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of this study showed that most hydroponic farmers in the Malang Raya area use the NFT system with 2 different greenhouse models, namely open greenhouses and closed greenhouses. Most of them have a workforce of less than 5 people who work mostly 4 hours per day. The division system of labor is based on individual expertise with the dominance of technological development to maintain work effectiveness. The recommendation is to develop human resource management through a planned division of labor to improve the quality of workers and agricultural income

Abstract

Tabanan Regency still faces obstacles to effectively managing village finances, as shown by the budget surplus (SiLPA). Bali Province has achieved the lowest SiLPA ratio. Therefore, it is necessary to re-optimize financial management, taking into account the diverse challenges faced by the 133 villages. Furthermore, given that Bali is a major source of agricultural production and employment, effective village financial management will significantly impact agriculture's development. This study examined the budget planning process in Tabanan Regency, the sources of revenue for villages in Tabanan Regency, the use of village budgets in Tabanan Regency, and the role of village financial management on agricultural development. This study employed qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis to examine budget planning, revenue sources, and the utilization of village budgets in 20 villages. Qualitative descriptive analysis was employed to investigate the impact of village finance management on agricultural development. The results show that the village finances in Tabanan Regency have been managed according to the principles of transparency, accountability, participation, and budget discipline. The primary source of revenue in Tabanan Regency is Transfer Revenue. The majority of village expenditures in Tabanan Regency are allocated towards village administration. Village finance management is crucial for promoting agricultural development and enhancing the village economy.

Abstract

Hydroponics is one of the profitable business opportunities. However, the main obstacle is that it requires large capital, so the purpose of this study is to determine the inventory of hydroponic farming and analyze the feasibility of greenhouse hydroponic farming. Carried out in Malang Raya with Purposive location determination, for sample determination using accidental sampling from a total sample of 15 respondents, only 9 respondents who have the criteria to analyze the feasibility of farming, this study uses descriptive quantitative data. The 9 respondents were divided into 2 planting patterns, namely monoculture and polyculture. The results of this study, for the inventory of tools and materials adapted to the type of system used and for the non-financial feasibility analysis stated that hydroponic farming is feasible to run from the aspects of market and marketing, technical and social. In terms of management, it is not feasible to run. From a financial point of view with a farming age of 3 years and for the interest rate used of 3%, the results show that in terms of Net B / C Ratio investment criteria from 9 respondents there is 1 monoculture farm that is feasible to run and 3 polyculture farms that are feasible to run. As for the NPV value of 9 respondents there are 2 polyculture farms that are not feasible. And for the results of the IRR analysis states that the 9 ponds are not feasible to run.

Abstract

The Influence of Management and Role of Village-Owned Enterprises (Bumdes) on Improving the Economy of Paksebali Village, Dawan District, Klungkung Regency. Paksebali BUMDes is located in Paksebali Village, Dawan District, Klungkung Regency. BUMDes Paksebali has five business units consisting of waste management sites, tourist attractions, savings and loan units, village markets and clean water management. To maximize the performance of BUMDes, of course, it is necessary to know whether Paksebali BUMDes has a positive effect on improving the village economy. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of the Paksebali Village community and to analyze the influence of the management and role of BUMDes on improving the economy of Paksebali Village, Dawan District, Klungkung Regency. The analysis used in this research is descriptive and quantitative analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS). The characteristics of the Paksebali Village community are that the majority of them are of productive age and already have their own income, both working as private employees and entrepreneurs. The management and role of BUMDes has a significant effect on improving the economy of Paksebali Village which can be seen from the absorption of labor, ease of access to capital and an increase in village original income.

Abstract

Analysis of Subsidized Fertilizer Distribution System in Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra (Study Case: Cv. Mas Ayu Lestari) To increase production and productivity, fertilizer is one of the main keys to success in farming systems. Subsidized fertilizers are fertilizers whose procurement and distribution receive subsidies from the government for the needs of farmers. The scarcity of subsidized fertilizers occurs due to uncertain causes, such as delays in distribution or missing somewhere, while farmers must pay attention to the planting period. The purpose of this study was to identify subsidized fertilizer distribution system and identifying subsidized fertilizer distribution problems in Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra. The research method used is qualitative with the type of case study. Sources of data obtained are primary data and secondary data. The results of the study concluded that there were still problems with the distribution system of subsidized fertilizers in Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra which resulted in not achieving the right 6 principles, especially in the right place, in the right amount and at the right time. The suggestions that can be submitted are to pay more attention to the management of the availability of subsidized fertilizers among farmers through supervision and communication among actors in distributing subsidized fertilizers.

Abstract

Factors Affecting Labor Productivity of Rubber Tapping PT. Melania Indonesia Mas Estate (Case Study at PT Melania Indonesia Mas Estate Toy Village, Sembawa District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra) This study aims to determine the productivity of the tapping labor force and the factors that influence the productivity of the rubber tapping workforce of PT Melania Indonesia. This analysis uses independent variables, namely wages, work experience and incentives. The dependent variable is the productivity of tapping labor. The sample of this research is the rubber tapper workers of PT Melania Indonesia as many as 78 respondents. Statistical method using Multiple Linear Regression Analysis using SPSS 24 program, with hypothesis testing statistical test t. The results of the analysis of data from the t test showed that the wage variable (X1) had a positive and significant effect on productivity with a Sig value of 0.009 <0.05, the work experience variable (X2) and incentives (X3) also had a positive and significant effect on productivity with a Sig value. 0.000 < 0.05 and 0.000 < 0.05. The magnitude of the coefficient of determination R2 is 0.950. This means that the tapping labor productivity variable is influenced by the variables of wages, work experience and incentives by 95%. The conclusion of this study is that the variables of wages, work experience and incentives are factors that affect the productivity of rubber tappers in PT Melania Indonesia's plantation. In this case, plantation companies are expected to pay attention to stability in the provision of wages, work experience and incentives, this is because these variables are the driving factors that affect the workforce in achieving company goals.
