Abstract

Atherosclerosis is the narrowing of blood vessels caused by the buildup of cholesterol plaque on the walls of the arteries. Excessive buildup of cholesterol plaque disrupts the circulatory system, thereby affecting the speed and pressure of blood flow. In the long term, atherosclerosis can cause ischemic heart disease. This study aims to analyze the influence of stenosis, initial velocity, and diameter on the velocity and pressure of blood flow in narrowed arteries that cause ischemic heart disease. In this research, a Navier Stoke mathematical equation model was built which was solved using the finite volume method with SIMPLE discretization (Semi Implicit Method for Pressure Linked Equations). Finite volume methods are used to analyze unstructured objects such as blood flow. SIMPLE discretization is implemented simply in two and three dimensions with a system of equations containing fluid motion. Matlab and Fluent are software used for process simulations, Matlab for visualizing graphs of numerical calculation results, and Fluent for visualizing blood flow. Based on the simulation results, it can be concluded that the smaller the diameter, the greater the stenosis, and the greater the initial velocity, the greater the blood flow velocity. On the contrary, the diameter gets smaller, the stenosis gets bigger, and the initial velocity gets bigger so that the pressure on the blood flow gets smaller. Blood flow simulation has the potential to contain ischemic heart disease if the maximum speed produced is greater than the maximum normal blood speed, namely 0.45 m/s.

Abstract

A graph is defined as an ordered set (V,E) where V is a non-empty set of elements called vertices and E is a set of edges which are finite and may be empty and each edge connects two different points of V(G).The r-dynamic coloring is defined as c:V(G)→{1,2,3,…,k} such that it satisfies the following conditions if uv∈V(G), then c(u)≠ c(v), and ∀v∈V(G), |c(N(v))|≥min⁡{r,d(v)}, for positive integers r and degree of vertex v. The purpose of r-dynamic coloring is to find the minimum chromatic number of graph coloring with unlimited parameter r. Dynamic coloring is performed on cricket graphs because no research has been done before. The method used in this research is the axiomatic deductive research method and the pattern detection method.

Abstract

One of the sub-chapters studied in graphs is local irregularity vertex coloring of graph. The based on definition of local irregularity vertex coloring of graph, as follow : (i)l : V (G) →{1, 2, 3, . . . , k} as a vertex irregular labeling and w : V (G) → N, for every uv ∈ E(G), w(u) ̸=w(v) with w(u) = Pv∈N(u)l(v) and (i) Opt(l) = min{max(li); li is a vertex irregular labeling}. The chromatic number of the local irregularity vertex coloring of G denoted by χlis(G), is the minimum cardinality of the largest label over all such local irregularity vertex colorings. In this article, discuss about local irregularity vertex coloring of subdivision by helm graph (Sg(Hn)).

Abstract

One of the topics studied in graphs is graph coloring. The definition of a graceful coloring, namely $k$-elegant coloring of a graph G is the exact vertex coloring c:V(G)→{ 1,2,...,k} where k≥2 induces the exact vertex coloring c^': V(G)→ {1,2,...,k-1} which is defined by c(uv)=|c(u)-c(v)|. The exact vertex coloring c of a graph G is a graceful coloring if c is a k-elegant coloring for k∈N. The graceful chromatic number is the minimum k value where graph G has k-elegant coloring, the elegant chromatic number of graph G is denoted by X_g (G). This article will discuss graceful chromatic numbers in the centripetal graph family which includes octopus graph (O_n), sandat graph (St_n),dutch windmill graph (D_3^m) , and a volcano graph (V_n).

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the airflow in the trachea due to thyroid cancer. Thyroid cancer is a cancer that attacks the thyroid gland. The thyroid gland is located in the neck below the Adam's apple. In general, thyroid cancer causes stenosis of the trachea due to cancer compression of the tracheal wall. This problem is solved using the finite volume method with SIMPLE (Semi Implicit Method for Pressure Linked Equation) discretization. This method is well suited for the discretization of irregularly shaped fluid flows. The software used is Matlab and Ansys Fluent. Matlab is used to compute numerical solutions and display graphs, while Fluent is used to visualize the air flow. The result of this study is that the greater the percentage of stenosis, the velocity of the airflow is faster and the pressure of the airflow is lower. The most critical condition for respiratory power loss is when the airflow velocity exceeds the normal limit, i.e. when the narrowing is more than 50%, the initial velocity is more than 0,1 m/s.

Abstract

This research focuses on the analyzing the Resolving Efficient Dominating Set (REDS) and its application scheme in horizontal farming using the Spatial Temporal Graph Neural Network (STGNN). Soil moisture and pH are crucial factors that affect the growth and yield, as they directly impact productivity and plant health. In cases where soil moisture and pH are lacking, various types of companion planting need to be watered. In such planting systems, a central role is needed to monitor soil moisture and pH levels effectively. The placement of operators in this system requires the application of mathematical concepts, specifically graph theory. In this study, we explore graph theory, particularly the Resolving Efficient Dominating Set. This involves ensuring that each vertex  is dominated by exactly one vertex in D, with no adjacent with another vertex, and the representation of vertex  concerning  is not the same. To effectively address this issue, including soil moisture and pH data, is required to predict future soil moisture and pH values in companion farming. Spatial Temporal Graph Neural Network (STGNN) technique proves to be useful in solving the problem of soil moisture and pH by understanding and modeling multi-step time series data. This technique aids in effectively managing and optimizing horizontal farming.
