Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of educator innovation in developing interactive teaching materials. This can be seen from various phenomena of student saturation related to learning that tends to be boring. The purpose of this study is so that researchers or readers can find out one of the learning innovations that can be used by educators, namely the development of LKPD teaching materials based on Liveworksheet software. The research method used is the Research and Development (R & D) research method with its development model, namely ADDIE (Analyziz, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). At the validation stage, the LKPD was validated by 3 validators, namely 1 material expert validator, 1 linguist validator and 1 design expert validator. The results showed that the development of LKPD teaching materials based on Liveworksheet Software is feasible to be used in learning. This is evidenced by the average V results obtained from material expert validation which is 0.92, linguist validation is 0.75, and design expert validation is 0.96. With the conclusion that LKPD based on Liveworksheet Software is feasible and effective to be used in the learning process in Phase B PPKn Material in MI / SD.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and develop data on lecturers who have published data and home indexing on the Google Scholar Index and intellectual records at the Director General of Information and Communication Technology; utilizing the google scholar home index citation database and online intellectual property center; Indexing of lecturers' works in the Google Scholar home and obtaining Intellectual Property Rights. This research method is research and development according to Brog & Gall (1989) in Lyesmaya (2015:15) in the implementation of research and development there are several methods used, namely descriptive, evaluative, and experimental methods. The research results are; 1) Implementation of the home scholar Index in the PGMI study program reaches 75%, 2) Intellectual property rights for online lecturers and patents to protect their work, 3) and publication of research results in international journals, and 4) Intellectual Property Rights. The results of this study recognize the achievement of goals in university milestones to support World Class University in the 4.0 era, the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program (PGMI) personally by lecturers is able to encourage the realization of World Class University in the publishing aspect in the world wide system, the Google Scholar Index of 93.3%, then author Sinta ID by 66.7% and finally the utilization of broadcasting Intellectual Property Rights by 86.7%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar video berbasis powtoon pada pelajaran PKn pada siswa kelas 2 MI/SD yang layak di gunakan dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development). Proyek yang dikembangkan adalah Bahan Ajar Video PPKN Kelas 2 MI/SD. Penelitian pengembangan ini dimodifikasi dari model pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran 4-D yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Instrumen dalam penelitian meliputi penilaian proyek. Data uji kevalidan diperoleh dari lembar validasi berdasarkan penilaian para validator ahli. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 3 validator yaitu 3 dosen ahli. Hasil validasi ahli media dan ahli materi dari penelitian ini sebagai berikut, berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli bahan ajar video berbasis powtoon dari validator ahli media mendapatkan rata-rata 94,2% dan hasil validator ahli bahasa menunjukan rata-rata total 80% dan hasil validator ahli materi menunjukan rata-rata total 88,5%. Berdasarkan beberapa hasil validasi dari para ahli yang telah dikemukakan, maka Bahan Ajar Video PKn Kelas 2 MI/SD dinyatakan valid dan layak digunakan.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of the Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract (CPA) method on fifth-grade students' SDN Cipayung 02 numeracy skills. In response to low numeracy performance on national examinations such as PISA, TIMSS, and Indonesia National Assessment Programme, as well as classroom observations emphasizing standard teaching approaches' limitations, this study investigates CPA as an alternate instructional strategy. The study used a posttest-only control group structure and a quasi-experimental methodology. Two randomly chosen classes make up the sample; one is the experimental group, and the other is the control. Data were obtained by testing, and the Independent Sample T-Test in SPSS Version 29 was used for analysis. Higher post-test scores in the experimental group (mean score of 70.32) than in the control group (mean score of 45.86) demonstrate that the CPA strategy significantly enhances students' numeracy skills when compared to traditional teaching approaches. The CPA technique, which goes through concrete, pictorial, and abstract stages, promotes a stronger mental understanding and practical application of mathematical principles. This study emphasizes the CPA approach's effectiveness in promoting numeracy literacy and suggests its widespread implementation in mathematics instruction. This study shows that CPA can be applied in mathematics learning by gradually using concrete objects, images, and symbols to improve students' understanding. Teachers need to be trained in using CPA through professional training and developing more interactive teaching modules. Numeracy assessments should also be adapted to problem-based formats and visual representations to suit this approach better. Education policies can adopt CPA in the national curriculum to improve numeracy literacy and international assessment results.

Abstract

Subject-integrated learning, which incorporates knowledge from various disciplines into one form, is one part of the independent study program. Thematic learning is defined as learning in which themes are used to integrate multiple subjects in order to provide students with meaningful experiences. The research method employed is literature review, which makes use of primary sources such as journal articles and books.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of meaningful learning at SDN Cijantung 02 through an innovation diffusion approach. Meaningful learning is considered crucial in improving the quality of education, especially in the digital era. The method used is quantitative with a survey approach, where a questionnaire was distributed to four teachers as respondents. The results show that most teachers understand and support the implementation of meaningful learning, although there are challenges in planning and time constraints. Meaningful learning has been shown to enhance student comprehension and active participation in class. The support of the school principal and collaboration among teachers also facilitates the implementation of this innovation. However, limitations in facilities and parental support pose challenges that need to be addressed. This study provides recommendations for intensive training and improved facilities to better support the implementation of meaningful learning.

Abstract

The issue of science literacy, which was published at the end of 2022 by PISA, is an important topic in Indonesia, which includes aspects of context, competence and knowledge. This study aims to analyze the science literacy ability of final grade 5 students in Depok, West Java which includes aspects of context, competence and knowledge. In addition, this study was conducted to investigate factors that can affect the science literacy ability of elementary school students in Depok, West Java. The type of research conducted is quantitative descriptive. The number of samples in this study was 123 samples from grade 5 in Depok, West Java. The sample collection technique uses the purposive sampling technique. Data on students' science literacy abilities is obtained from test results in the form of science literacy test sheets based on the PISA question standards. The data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study showed that the average science literacy ability of 5th grade students in Depok, West Java was included in the medium category with a percentage of 59.57%. If described in each science literacy domain, the science literacy ability in the context aspect was 59.03% with the medium category, the science literacy ability in the knowledge aspect was 58.96% with the low category, and the science literacy ability in the competency aspect was 57.82% with the low category.

Abstract

Critical Thinking is a key component of the graduate profile and poses a significant challenge in learning, including in elementary education. In this study, deep learning can encourage students to discover the meaning of what they learn, engage them in analyzing information, making connections between ideas or information, and solve problems. With STEAM pedagogical practices integrated with Design Thinking, students can engage in three deep learning experiences: understanding, applying, and reflecting. Quantitative data revealed that 164 fifth-grade elementary school students were homogeneously divided into two classes: a control class and an experimental class. A significant value of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained, with an n-gain of 0.63, categorized as moderate. STEAM integrated with Design Thinking, implemented as a pedagogical practice for deep learning, provides students with the opportunity to analyze needs, process and evaluate information, and develop ideas based on considerations that have gone through an iterative thinking process. The application of STEAM integrated with Design Thinking in deep learning encourages students to apply knowledge to new, real-world contexts through multidisciplinary approaches to build in-depth understanding.Keyword:Deep Learning, STEAM, Design Thinking, Critical Thinking
