Abstract

Based on the results of a preliminary study conducted on class III students at Mlajah 2 Elementary School, it was found that most of the students had low learning outcomes in the Indonesian subject. This is due, in part, because students tend not to focus during learning. This lack of student focus can be caused by several factors, for example the use of inappropriate learning models. The purpose of this study was to see an increase in student learning outcomes in the Indonesian subject through a problem-based learning model. This research is a type of classroom action research with the model of Stephen Kemmis and Robbin Mc. Taggart. Data were collected by interview, observation, tests, and documentation techniques, then analyzed using a qualitative-quantitative approach. The results showed that there was an increase in the number of students completing from pre-cycle to cycle II. At the pre-cycle stage, the number of students passing only reached 44%. This figure then increased in cycle I, namely to 77% and 87% in cycle II. The results of this study indicate that using a problem-based learning model can improve student learning outcomes in the Indonesian Language Subject.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in students' reading comprehension when using Indonesian word cards as media. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This classroom action research was carried out in a cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. the results of classroom action research that has been carried out in cycle I, from the initial to the last stages have been carried out properly as they should. But in cycle 1 there were only 54% of students who were complete in carrying out learning activities. KKM in this content is 70. The percentage of students who complete in cycle II then increases to 88%. Based on the results of the research conducted in class 1 at SDN MAJAH II Bangkalan, the researcher can conclude that there is an increase in learning outcomes in the Indonesian language subject about praise sentences with the help of word card media. This can be seen from the learning outcomes of grade 1 students, where there was an increase after the implementation of learning through the media game of word cards, praise sentences.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a significant influence of the Crossword Puzzle (TTS) learning method on student learning outcomes on theme 8 sub-themes 1 of class V Elementary School Rejoslamet 2 Jombang. This research is a quantitative research type of experimental research, the design used is Pre-Experimental Designs. The population of this study were all fifth grade students at Rejoslamet 2 Jombang Elementary School. Sampling using non-probability sampling using saturated sampling technique, the number of samples is all students of class V Elementary School Rejoslamet 2 Jombang totaling 39 students. Data were collected using observation and tests, analysis of instrument data using content validity and construct validity tests, reliability tests, item difficulty level tests, and differential power tests, while statistical analysis used normality tests. Test the hypothesis in this study using a paired sample t-test. The results of the research hypothesis test are the significance value (2-tailed) < value (0.05), namely 0.000 < 0.05 and decision making through the results of the t test with the decision-making rule - t count < -t table, where -t count namely -13, 403 < -table, namely -1,686 or t count (-13,403) < t table (1,686) means that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected or there is a significant influence of the application of the crossword puzzle method on learning outcomes in theme 8, sub-theme 1 student class V Elementary School Rejoslamet 2 Jombang, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is a significant influence of the application of the crossword puzzle learning method on learning outcomes in theme 8 sub-theme 1 students of class V Elementary School Rejoslamet 2 Jombang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a realistic mathematics education (RME) approach on students' numeracy literacy skills. This study used the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample used in this study used a saturated sampling technique with a total sample of 31 students. Collecting research data using observation, tests, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the realistic mathematics education (RME) approach has an effect on the numeracy literacy abilities of grade 5 Elementary School of Tanjungbumi 3 Bangkalan Regency. Based on the calculation of the hypothesis test with the paired sample t-test obtained t_test > t_table of 20.769 then is accepted and is rejected and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 then is rejected and is accepted, which means that there is a significant influence on the use of the approach realistic mathematics education (RME) on numeracy literacy skills. The implementation of learning is carried out with very good criteria with an average of 86.5.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) model based on Madurese local wisdom in improving student learning outcomes on the theme 7 subthemes 2 Class V Elementary School. This study is an experimental study. This type of research is a Quasi Experimental Design with Prestest-Posttest Control Group Design. This study was conducted in the 2022/2023 academic year with research respondents from Grade V students with an experimental group of 20 and a control group of 20. Instruments using learning outcomes tests and documentation. The Data obtained were analyzed using the T-test with the Formula Independent Sample T-Test. The results of this study showed that the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) model based on Madurese local wisdom has an effect on the learning outcomes obtained t count value of 6.047 and ttable on (df.38) significance of 0.05 by 1.686, and the results of GIS. 2-tailed by 0.000 < 0.05. So it is concluded that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected because the count > ttable. In essence, the application of the VCT model can improve student learning outcomes. This research contributes to improving the quality and results of local wisdom-based learning in accordance with the independent curriculum.

Abstract

This research aims to determine students' interest in learning in science and science subjects at SDN Gili Barat. This study was conducted at Gili Barat State Elementary School which is located on Jalan Tanjungan, in the Kamal District area, Bangkalan Regency, East Java Province. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects studied were students in the VA class at SDN Gili Barat with a total of 17 male students and 8 female students. The techniques used are observation, questionnaires and documentation. These VA class students fall into the high class category. The results of the questionnaire stated that Gili Barat Elementary School students liked science and science lessons. The average percentage for each aspect related to preferred activities is 72%, based on conceptual understanding 69%, and based on psychomotor activities 68.8%. Overall, the average response to all aspects measured in the questionnaire shows that students' interest in learning related to science subjects is 69.9%.

Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui kevalidan media Media Giant Snakes and Ladders Puas Karya Jamilang, (2) mengetahui keefektifan Media Giant Snakes and Ladders Puas Karya Jamilang, (3) mengetahui kemenarikan Media Giant Snakes and Ladders Puas Karya Jamilang. Penelitian ini masuk kedalam jenis penelitian RnD (Research and Development). Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian dan pengembangan ini merupakan model ADDIE. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian ahli, diperoleh presentase kevalidan rata-rata Media Giant Snakes and Ladders Puas Karya Jamilang sebesar 95,33% dengan kategori sangat valid. Keefektifan Media Giant Snakes and Ladders Puas Karya Jamilang diukur dari aktivitas guru yang mendapat nilai presentase rata-rata 95,5%, observasi aktivitas siswa yang mendapatkan nilai 81,76%, serta hasil ketuntasan belajar klasikal sebesar 90%. Berdasarkan hasil presentase nilai observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, serta ketuntasan belajar klasikal siswa dapat disimpulkan bahwa Media Giant Snakes and Ladders Puas Karya Jamilang efektif untuk digunakan pada pembelajaran. Kemenarikan media diukur dari hasil angket respon guru sebesar 94% dengan kategori sangat menarik, dan angket respon siswa sebesar 88% dengan kategori sangat menarik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka Media Giant Snakes and Ladders Puas Karya Jamilang layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran IPAS Kelas 4 Bab 5 Topik A dengan kategori sangat valid, efektif, dan sangat menarik.

Abstract

Children's story books have an important role in the world of education, especially at the elementary school level. However, the availability of story books that support learning is still very limited. Therefore it is important to develop children's story books that can be used as a companion to textbooks and to train literacy from an early age. This study aims to develop children's science story books based on integrated scientific literacy in Madura local potential that are feasible in terms of validity, effectiveness, and attractiveness. This development research uses procedures 4-D models ( four D models ). The results showed that the development of children's science story books in terms of the validity aspect obtained an average percentage of 89% in the valid category, the effectiveness aspect obtained a classical completeness percentage of 93% in the effective category, and the attractiveness aspect obtained an average percentage of 100% in the attractive category. Based on the research data it can be concluded that the development of scientific literacy-based children's science story books that are integrated with the local potential of Madura is deemed feasible to use.

Abstract

Global advances in technology have influenced all aspect of life in the fields of economics, politics, culture, and even in the world of education. Teachers need to understand how their students learn and find the best way to utilize technological advances. Gamification is one of the technological developments that can be used in learning. The learning process of course cannot be separated from the use of teaching materials. The aim of this research is to describe the validity and attractiveness of using gamification technology. This research is development research eith a 4-D model developed by Thiagarajan. Based on the research results, to determine the validity of e-module teaching materials by using validation sheets by material experts dan teaching material experts. Based on the material expert validation questionnaire, followed by data processing and analysis using criteria, a score of 97,5% was obtained with very valid criteria. Meanwhile, the validation questionnaire by teaching materials experts and continued with data processing obtained a score of 88,46% with very valid criteria. To find out the attractiveness of e-module teaching materials by using 1 questionnaire for students in large group trials, scores of 84,76% and 83,55% werw obtained, both of which are very attractive criteria. The conclusion of this research is that the development of gamification- based teaching materials is very valid and very interesting.
