Abstract

Modernisasi telah memberikan perubahan besar pada struktur kehidupan manusia, termasuk relasi laki-laki dan perempuan dalam kehidupan berkeluarga. Perubahan ini melahirkan konsep baru tentang maskulinitas, terutama yang ditemukan pada lagu dangdut koplo dari Jawa Timur. Maka, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menjawab pertanyaan bagaimanakah bentuk relasi laki-laki dan perempuan dalam konstruksi maskulinitas Jawa pada lagu dangdut koplo? Metode deskriptif kualitatif digunakan dan memanfaatkan konsep maskulinitas sebagaimana dikemukakan oleh Janet Saltzman Chafetz. Chafetz menggambarkan tujuh wilayah maskulinitas tradisional pada budaya barat: fisik, fungsional, seksual, emosional, intelektual, interpersonal, dan sifat pribadi lain. Penulis artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa lagu dangdut koplo Jawa menggambarkan relasi laki-laki dan perempuan dalam tiga dimensi maskulinitas: fungsional, emosional, dan intelektual. Dimensi fungsional memerankan laki-laki pada peran sebagai pencari nafkah; dan dimensi emosional sebagai memiliki ketenangan dan kematangan emosional yang tinggi; sedangkan dimensi intelektual menghadirkan sosok laki-laki dengan pemikiran yang logis, rasional, dan praktis.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Gaya kata dan gaya kalimat merupakan unsur penting dalam sebuah karya sastra khususnya cerpen. Penggunaan gaya kata dan gaya kalimat dalam karya sastra membuat pembaca memahami maksud dan tujuan penggarang dalam menulis karya sastra. Selain itu penggunaan diksi dan gaya kalimat digunakan agar pembaca mampu memahami unsur-unsur berkaitan dengan ciri khas penggarang. Terlebih dalam menggunakan aspek lokalitas dalam menulis cerita pendek. Selaras dengan pernyataan tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk gaya kata dan gaya kalimat yang digunakan penggarang dalam menyampaikan lokalitas Jawa pada cerpen-cerpen karya Gunawan Tri Atdmojo. Serta mendeskripsikan gaya kata dan gaya kalimat dalam menyampaikan aspek lokalitas Jawa yang dominan digunakan dalam cerpen cerpen karya Gunawan Triadtmojo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan berupa teknik refrensial. Refrensi yang digunakan yaitu pendapat para ahli, serta penelitian yang relevan dengan penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik baca dan catat. Penelitian ini menghasilkan data tertulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kata yang dominan digunakan oleh penggarang dalam menyampaikan lokalitas Jawa adalah gaya kata kolokial. Gaya kalimat yang dominan digunakan dalam menyampaikan lokalitas Jawa adalah kalimat deklaratif.KATA KUNCI: Leksikal; Gramatikal; Lokalitas Jawa; Cerpen; Gunawan Tri Atdmojo The Author's Style In Delivering Java Locality: Stilistics Of Short Stories By Gunawan Tri Atdmojo. ABSTRACT: Word style and sentence style are important elements in a literary work, especially short stories. The use of word style and sentence style in literary works makes the reader understand the intent and purpose of the author in writing literary works. In addition, the use of diction and sentence style is used so that the reader is able to understand the elements related to the characteristics of the author. Especially in using the locality aspect in writing short stories. In line with this statement, this study aims to describe the form of word style and sentence style used by the author in conveying Javanese locality in the short stories by Gunawan Tri Atdmojo. As well as describing the style of words and sentence styles in conveying aspects of Javanese locality which are dominantly used in short stories by Gunawan Triadtmojo. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. The data analysis technique used is a referential technique. The references used are the opinions of experts, as well as research relevant to this research. Data collection techniques used reading and note-taking techniques. This research produces written data. The results showed that the dominant style of words used by the author in writing short stories was colloquial. Abstract

Fiksimini adalah fenomena kesusastraan yang lahir karena peran media. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan perkembangan struktur, penulis, dan penerimaan pembaca fiksimini di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian konten terhadap fiksimini yang diambil dari Twitter, Facebook, dan Instagram. Sumber data penelitian berupa kata, frasa, kalimat, atau paragraf dalam fiksimini yang memuat informasi mengenai struktur fiksimini. Selain fiksimini, sumber data sekunder penelitian ini adalah informasi mengenai penulis dan respon pembaca yang diperoleh dari berbagai literatur pendukung, seperti laman berita, media sosial, dan artikel penelitian. Pengambilan data yang berkaitan dengan rumusan masalah dilakukan dengan teknik membaca dan mencatat. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif, dengan menggunakan teori resepsi sastra. Adapun langkah-langkahnya, yaitu: (1) mencatat atau merekam fiksimini, penulis, dan respons pembaca terhadap fiksimini dari berbagai media daring maupun luring; (2) melakukan telaah kritis atas struktur fiksimini sehingga memperoleh gambaran perkembangannya; (3) mengumpulkan dan mengategorisasi berdasar rumusan masalah; dan (4) melakukan pembahasan dan inferensi berdasarkan pendekatan resepsi sastra. Penelitian ini menggunakan validitas semantis dan reliabilitas interrater dan intrarater. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  struktur fiksimini sangat dipengaruhi oleh platform media publikasi yang digunakan. Fiksimini di Indonesia berkembang melalui akun Twitter @fiksimini. Media sosial dan komunitas fiksimini berperan dalam perkembangannya. Penerimaan terhadap fiksimini terlihat dalam keterlibatan aktif publik dalam menghasilkan tulisan serta adanya penelitian, penulisan kritik, atau esai sastra.Kata kunci: fiksimini, media sosial, perkembangan The development of fiksimini in Indonesia in 2010 – present AbstractFiksimini is a literary phenomenon that was born due to the role of the media. This research aims to explain the development of the structure, writers, and reader acceptance of fiksimini in Indonesia. This research is content research on fiksimini taken from Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. The data sources are words, phrases, sentences, or paragraphs in fiksimini that contain information about the structure of fiksimini. In addition to fiksimini, the secondary data source of this research is information about the author and readers' responses obtained from various supporting literature, such as news pages, social media, and research articles. Data collection related to the formulation of the problem is done by reading and recording techniques. The data analysis technique of this research was carried out in a descriptive qualitative way, using literary reception theory. The steps are (1) recording or recording fiksimini, writers, and readers' responses to fiksimini from various online and offline media; (2) conducting a critical review of the structure of fiksimini to obtain an overview of its development; (3) collecting and categorizing based on the formulation of the problem; and (4) conducting discussion and inference based on the literary reception approach. This research uses semantic validity and interrater and intrarater reliability. The results show that the structure of fiksimini is strongly influenced by the publication media platform used. Fiksimini in Indonesia developed through the Twitter account @fiksimini. Social media and the fiksimini community play a role in its development. The acceptance of fiksimini can be seen in the active involvement of the public in producing writing as well as research, writing criticism, or literary essays.Keywords: fiksimini, social media, development

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the integration between the intrinsic elements of the short story "Kesunyian Ini, Kambing Sekali Rasanya" (This Silence, such a Goat) by Eko Triono using a structural method, and (2) describe the representation of radicalism and moral values ​​contained in the short story. This short story was researched through the steps of data collection; (1) reading the short story This Silence, Kambing Once It feels intensively, (2) analyzing the integration between the intrinsic elements of the short story and describing it, then (3) analyzing the elements of radicalism and morals that the author wants to convey in the short story and describing it. After going through the research process of structural analysis, representation of radicalism, and moral values, it can be seen that Eko Triono's efforts to combine the intrinsic elements of the short story well, so that the representation of radicalism and the message of moral values ​​contained in the short story can reach the reader.

Abstract

Film adalah representasi kehidupan nyata masyarakat yang ringkas dan menarik dengan pesan moral yang terjalin di dalamnya. Salah satu film dengan banyak pelajaran moral adalah Love is Not Enough. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pesan moral yang disampaikan oleh film Love is Not Enough. Metode deskriptif kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Analisis semiotika Roland Barthes, yang menggunakan signifikasi dua tahap yaitu denotasi dan konotasi serta mitos dalam pengambilan gambar adegan dari film Love is Not Enough kemudian digunakan untuk mengevaluasi data. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pesan moral dalam film Love is Not Enough yang terbagi dalam beberapa kategori sebagai berikut: 1) Hubungan antara Tuhan dan manusia; 2) Hubungan antara individu dengan diri mereka sendiri; 3) Interaksi antara individu dalam lingkungan sosial.

Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, short story literary works emerged with the theme of the pandemic. This short story raises the theme of the pandemic and, at the same time, provides an overview of the religious realities that occurred during the pandemic. The pandemic creates new problems at the level of the religious habits. This is a dilemma faced by the Indonesian people. The reality of religion during the pandemic can be seen in the rituals of worship and religious habits. This research aims to describe the reality of religion during the pandemic in short stories with the theme of the COVID-19 pandemic. The data source in this research is nine short stories with the theme of the COVID-19 pandemic published in online media (suaramerdeka.com, republika.com, and cerpenmu.com) in the period 2020-2021. The selection of the nine short stories was based on a purposive sampling technique with a focus on novice writers. The technique used in this research is note-taking, which involves the writer reading and recording the findings of religious realities in short stories with the theme of the COVID-19 pandemic. The results of this research show two aspects of religious reality in short stories with the theme of the COVID-19 pandemic, namely worship rituals and religious habits. The reality of religion in worship rituals in short stories with the theme of the COVID-19 pandemic is to invite people to use religion to resolve the pandemic without worsening conditions. Meanwhile, the reality of religious diversity in religious habits shows the phenomenon of people still trying to realize religious habits during Eid by paying attention to the health protocols that apply amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

One of the creative and productive ways to deal with boredom and avoid stress during self-quarantine due to the COVID-19 pandemic is creative writing. The Indonesian Literature Study Program, Faculty of Language and Arts, Yogyakarta State University held a short story writing training activity with the insight of the COVID-19 pandemic for Indonesian language subject teachers. The benefits of this activity, among others, are expected to be a trauma healing for residents who are currently experiencing self-quarantine, a recreational and productive activity, as a medium for disseminating knowledge of pandemic disaster mitigation to the wider community. This activity was carried out online using the zoom meeting application and was attended by 44 teachers from various regions in Indonesia. Described in a qualitative descriptive manner, the training designed with an intensive mentoring model was considered capable of improving the participants' short story writing skills. The success in the implementation of this activity is not only influenced by technology and social support, but the enthusiasm of the participants to take part in the training activities as well as the human resources of resource persons who are competent in their fields.

Abstract

Women are often the object of study in literary works. This is based on the nature of women who tend to be unique and considered attractive, so that most authors choose the perspective of women in representing their works. This research is aimed to describe the image of Bataknese women, the domination of patriarchal culture experienced by Bataknese women, and the decisions women make regarding the treatment of patriarchal domination experienced in the novel Toba Dreams written by TB Silalahi. The research object used is the novel Toba Dreams by TB Silalahi. The research used three data collection techniques namely library techniques, listening or reading techniques, and note-taking techniques. Bataknese female characters in the Toba Dreams novel by TB Silalahi, namely Kristin Sujono, the wife of Sergeant Tebe, Opung Boru, the mother of Sergeant Tebe, Taruli, the daughter of Sergeant Tebe, and Andini, the daughter-in-law of Sergeant Tebe, are interesting things to discuss further. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of Leeuwen's inclusion theory in crime news with the theme of murder in the Online Tribun News.Com news. Data collection was carried out in three stages (1) reading and understanding the discourse on the theme of murder in the news Online Tribun News.Com with the aim of obtaining a clear understanding of the contents of the discourse to be studied, (2) marking parts of the discourse related to the theory of inclusion. Leeuwen, and (3) record sentences in discourse related to Leeuwen's inclusive theory by using a data recording format. Data analysis was carried out descriptively. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded, Leeuwen's inclusioan theory found in ten criminal news headlines with the theme of murder in the Online Tribun News.Com news is five of the seven existing theories, namely objectivity-abstraction, nomination-categorization, nomination-identification, assimilation individualization and associations-dissociations. So, it can be concluded that writing criminal news with the theme of killing journalists does not marginalize victims. In making news headlines, journalists still hide actors. Concealment of actors by journalists is done by using passive sentences in news headlines.

Abstract

Cultural Values And Locality In The Collection Of Daily Merapi Short Stories “Lintang Johar Cikal Bakal Mataram Islam” By Iis Suwartini. The presence of literary works is closely related to the culture that exists in society. Literary works exist as a means to invite people to live in tune with the existing culture. In line with this, this study aims to determine the values of Javanese culture and locality contained in the Kumoulan Kompas Daily Short Story "Lintang Johar Cikal Bakal Mataram Islam" by iis Suwartini. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The main data source which is the object of study in this research is the Kompas Daily Short Story Collection published in 2021 by Iis Suwartini. Retrieval of research data is done through heuristic reading techniques. The interactive data analysis technique from Miles & Huberman is a data analysis technique which includes techniques of: (1) collecting data, (2) reducing data, (3) presenting data, and (4) drawing conclusions. This research produces written data. The results of the study show that the cultural values contained in a collection of short stories are 1) the nature of human life, 2) the nature of human work, 3) the nature of human position in space and time, 4) the nature of the relationship between humans and nature, and 5) the nature of the relationship between humans. The locality that appears is the locality of Java, which has been successfully identified through the characters, plot, setting, style of language and story title. Overall, this research is expected to be a basis for bringing up relevant research related to cultural values and locality in literary works.
